02-21-18 | TCU v. Iowa State +6.5 | Top | 89-83 | Win | 100 | 14 h 29 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Iowa State Cyclones plus the points over TCU. This is a tough spot for Jamie Dixon's Horned Frogs. Not only is Iowa State off back to back losses, but it also will be out for blood after losing by 23 points in Forth Worth in January. And Iowa State is 15-4 ATS its last 19 off back to back losses. And it's 32-15-4 ATS when playing with revenge from a loss by more than 10 points earlier in the season. Take the Cyclones. |
02-21-18 | Georgia Tech +20 v. Virginia | Top | 54-65 | Win | 100 | 15 h 44 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets + the points over Virginia. These two teams met in Atlanta, in January, and the Cavs won, 64-48. Thus, Georgia Tech will be looking for revenge tonight. The Yellow Jackets were blown out by 20 points, at home by Virginia Tech, in their last game. And that was their 5th straight loss (both SU and ATS). I love the Jackets to bounce back tonight in Charlottesville, as NCAA underdogs (or PK) on 5-game SU and ATS losing streaks, are 170-111 ATS if they also failed to cover the spread by 10+ points in their previous game! Even better: if our team is playing with revenge from a loss at home earlier in the season, then our 170-111 stat zooms to 38-16 ATS. Take Georgia Tech. NCAA Game of the Month. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-21-18 | SMU -7 v. East Carolina | Top | 77-58 | Win | 100 | 13 h 29 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the SMU Mustangs minus the points over East Carolina. The Mustangs played about as bad a game as a team could play last Saturday when it lost 52-37 at Central Florida. SMU shot just 25% from the field (11 of 43) in that defeat, and it was its 5th straight loss, overall (and 3rd straight ATS). But I expect them to bounce back at East Carolina. SMU's been installed as a sizable road favorite. And NCAA favorites of more than 6 points, off 3 SU/ATS losses, that scored 46 or less points in their previous game, have cashed 68.4%. Take SMU. |
02-21-18 | Georgia v. South Carolina -2 | Top | 57-66 | Win | 100 | 13 h 0 m | Show |
At 6:30 pm, our selection is on the South Carolina Gamecocks minus the points over Georgia. South Carolina stunned the 23-3 Auburn Tigers, 84-75, as a 7-point underdog last Saturday. And I look for them to follow-up that victory with a blowout of Georgia. Indeed, home teams off upset wins as 7-point (or greater) dogs over .850 (or better) conference foes have gone 111-74 ATS. Take the Gamecocks. |
02-20-18 | Ole Miss +8 v. Missouri | Top | 90-87 | Win | 100 | 6 h 17 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Ole Miss Rebels + the points over Missouri. The Rebels are on a 7-game SU/ATS losing streak, and were blown out by rival Miss State, 79-62, on Saturday. But SEC Conference underdogs of +6 or more points, off more than 5 point spread defeats in a row, have gone 49-27 ATS vs. conference foes. And Ole Miss is 41-20 ATS off a double-digit loss. Take the points with Mississippi. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-20-18 | Mississippi State v. Texas A&M -6.5 | Top | 93-81 | Loss | -109 | 14 h 10 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Texas A&M Aggies minus the points over Mississippi State. The Aggies are 17-10 this season, but return home after losing two road games at Mizzou and Arkansas. However, the good news for Texas A&M tonight is that it's 50-17 ATS at home off a loss when it owns a .440 (or better) record, and its foe is not off a SU/ATS loss. And it's also a fantastic 37-15 ATS if it lost ATS in each of its two previous games. Lay the points with Texas A&M. |
02-20-18 | Central Michigan v. Western Michigan -5.5 | Top | 81-83 | Loss | -105 | 14 h 10 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Western Michigan Broncos minus the points over Central Michigan. These two rivals have yet to meet this season, but they'll meet twice over a 10-day period, starting with tonight's game. The Broncos were upset by Bowling Green and Northern Illinois in each of their last two games. But both of those were on the road. Tonight's game is at home, where Western Michigan is 19-5 SU and 15-9 ATS its last 24 Mid-American Conference games. Even better: teams off back to back road upset losses are a super 57% ATS since 1990. Take Western Michigan. |
02-20-18 | The Citadel +20.5 v. East Tennessee State | Top | 84-82 | Win | 100 | 14 h 9 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on The Citadel + the points over East Tennessee State. The Bulldogs narrowly lost to the Buccaneers, 73-71, as a 15.5-point underdog in late January. And they're also 0-3 ATS over their last three games. But we'll grab the points with the Bulldogs, as revenge-minded College Basketball underdogs of +20 or more points, off 3 ATS losses, are 66% since 1992. Take The Citadel. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-19-18 | Oklahoma +8.5 v. Kansas | Top | 74-104 | Loss | -102 | 19 h 19 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Oklahoma Sooners + the points over Kansas. The Sooners have hit a tailspin, as they're on a 5-game losing streak (and a 7-game ATS losing streak). They'll attempt to get back into the win column 'in Vegas' tonight, as they'll take on a Kansas Jayhawks team which is 21-6 SU and 13-12 ATS. Interestingly, the last time the Sooners covered the point spread was against these Jayhawks. Oklahoma won that game, 85-80, as a 2-point home favorite. We had a big play on the Sooners in that game, and will take them again here, as a road underdog. For technical support, consider that .600 (or better) teams, off 5+ losses, have covered 67% since 1990 as road dogs of more than 6 points. Also, Oklahoma is a super 23-12 ATS vs. Kansas when not laying more than 2 points. And Kansas is an awful 3-14-1 ATS its last 18 at home vs. Big 12 Conference foes. Take the points with the Sooners. NCAA High Roller Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-18-18 | Penn State v. Purdue -7.5 | Top | 73-76 | Loss | -100 | 13 h 48 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Purdue Boilermakers minus the points over Penn State. The Boilers have dropped their last three games, including two upset losses as a double-digit favorite (vs. Ohio State and at Wisconsin). But I love the Boilermakers to bounce back tonight at home, as home favorites off an upset loss as a favorite of more than 4 points, and 3 losses, overall, have covered 65.9% since 1990 vs. conference foes off 3+ wins (and 8-1 ATS the last 2+ seasons). Take Purdue. NCAA Hoops High Roller. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-18-18 | Pittsburgh +22 v. Florida State | Top | 75-88 | Win | 100 | 11 h 42 m | Show |
At 6 pm, our selection is on the Pittsburgh Panthers + the points over Florida State. The Panthers have lost their last four games by 33, 24, 34 and 23 points. And they've failed to cover the spread in each. But those games set up our play today, as double-digit underdogs off 3 SU/ATS losses by more than 20 points each, have covered 65% over the past 28 years. Additionally, the Panthers have covered five of the last seven in this series, and scored upset wins over the Seminoles each of the past two seasons. Take the points with Pittsburgh. NCAA Elite Info Winner. Good luck, as always....Al McMordie. |
02-18-18 | Loyola-Chicago v. Evansville +5.5 | Top | 76-66 | Loss | -106 | 9 h 41 m | Show |
At 4 pm, our selection is on the Evansville Purple Aces + the points over Loyola Chicago. Loyola's 22-5, and defeated the Aces earlier this season, 66-59, as n 8-point favorite. They've been installed as a road favorite this afternoon, notwithstanding the fact that Evansville is 13-2 this season at home (and 7-4 ATS). We'll grab the points with the home underdog, as home teams that are more than 10 games above .500 at home on the season have cashed 62% when getting more than 4 points. Take Evansville. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-18-18 | Nebraska v. Illinois +1.5 | Top | 66-72 | Win | 100 | 7 h 22 m | Show |
At 3:30 pm, our selection is on the Illinois Illini over Nebraska. The Illini lost at Indiana on Wednesday, 78-68, as a 9.5-point underdog. And that was Illinois' 4th straight defeat, overall. But I love Illinois to bounce back at home this afternoon, as it's 94-57 ATS off a Big 10 defeat, provided Illinois was an underdog in that previous game. We actually had a big play on the Illini when these two teams met earlier this season in Lincoln, and the Illini rewarded us with a nice win as a 4.5-point underdog. Interestingly, that was the last time Nebraska failed to cover the spread, as they're 8-0 ATS since (to go win a 6-0 SU run). But they fall into a negative 57-110 ATS system of mine which goes against certain teams on long win streaks. Take Illinois. NCAA Roadkill Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-18-18 | South Florida +13.5 v. Tulsa | Top | 61-73 | Win | 100 | 8 h 41 m | Show |
At 3 pm, our selection is on the South Florida Bulls + the points over Tulsa. The Golden Hurricane upset Connecticut on the road, 73-71, on Thursday. They'll now take on a Bulls team currently riding a six-game losing streak (including a 9-point loss vs. Tulsa two weeks ago). Unfortunately for Tulsa, double-digit home favorites generally suffer letdowns off road upset wins, if they're matched up against conference foes off a loss, provided such conference foe also has a losing record (both in conference play, and overall). Since 1990, our home teams in this situation have gone 167-233 ATS. Take the Bulls + the points. |
02-18-18 | DePaul v. Seton Hall -10.5 | Top | 77-82 | Loss | -106 | 6 h 41 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Seton Hall Pirates minus the points over DePaul. Seton Hall is 17-9 on the year, but 0-4 SU/ATS its last four games. But the good news for Pirates fans is that .555 (or better) teams, on a 4-game SU/ATS losing streak, tend to bounce back when favored by 6+ points, as they've gone 66% ATS since 1990. Take the Pirates. |
02-17-18 | Ole Miss +7.5 v. Mississippi State | Top | 62-79 | Loss | -103 | 13 h 41 m | Show |
At 8:30 pm, our selection is on the Ole Miss Rebels + the points over Mississippi State. The Rebels have dropped their last six games (both SU and ATS). The knee-jerk reaction might be to fade Mississippi. But consider that SEC Conference underdogs of +6 (or more) points, on a 4-game (or worse) ATS losing streak, have gone 85.3% ATS vs. Conference foes not off an ATS defeat. Take Ole Miss. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-17-18 | North Carolina v. Louisville -1 | Top | 93-76 | Loss | -107 | 12 h 26 m | Show |
At 8:15 pm, our selection is on the Louisville Cardinals over North Carolina. The Tar Heels are on a 4-game SU/ATS win streak. But three of those four games were at home. And the lone road game was at NC State. And the Tar Heels played that game with major revenge from a loss to the Wolfpack just two weeks earlier. Tonight, however, North Carolina is not playing with revenge. And Carolina has been awful away from home vs. revenge-minded conference foes if Carolina was off a win, as it's 1-10-1 ATS. Take Louisville. |
02-17-18 | Texas Tech v. Baylor -1.5 | Top | 57-59 | Win | 100 | 6 h 7 m | Show |
At 7:30 pm, our selection is on the Baylor Bears minus the points over Texas Tech. Baylor comes into this game red-hot, and has won its last four games, while it has covered its last five. And it falls into a 'momentum' system of mine which has cashed 63% which plays on certain favorites off back to back SU/ATS wins. Texas Tech, meanwhile, is an awful 71-117 ATS away from home as an underdog in the regular season, including 23-49-1 ATS vs. foes off back to back wins. Finally, the Bears lost to the Red Raiders by 24 in Lubbock back in December. But Baylor's 65% over the past 28 years when favored and playing with revenge from a 15-point (or worse) defeat. Take Baylor. |
02-17-18 | Massachusetts +15.5 v. Davidson | Top | 78-83 | Win | 100 | 11 h 12 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Massachusetts Minutemen + the points over Davidson. UMass comes into this evening's game off back to back SU/ATS losses. But it falls into 77-27 and 390-210 ATS systems of mine that play on certain double-digit underdogs off back to back losses. Moreover, UMass is a super 24-3 ATS as a road underdog of 6+ points in conference games off a loss, if its opponent had a .400 (or better) ATS record. Take the Minutemen. |
02-17-18 | Nevada v. Utah State +5.5 | Top | 93-87 | Loss | -105 | 5 h 41 m | Show |
At 6 pm, our selection is on the Utah State Aggies + the points over Nevada. The Wolf Pack come into this game off back to back wins, and are ranked among the Top 25 teams in the country, with a 22-5 record. But they've been pedestrian against the spread, as they're just 13-12 ATS this season, and just 6-7 ATS on the road. Today, they'll have to take on an Aggies squad looking to make amends for an awful, 78-63, loss at New Mexico this past Wednesday. But Utah State's back home now, and it has won 10 of its 13 home games, straight-up (6-5 ATS) this year, and is also playing with revenge from a 26-point loss in Reno back in January. The Aggies are a solid 13-3 ATS since 1992 at home off a loss, when playing with same season revenge, including a perfect 7-0 ATS since 2007. Take Utah State. |
02-17-18 | UC-Davis +7.5 v. UC-Santa Barbara | Top | 71-54 | Win | 100 | 11 h 39 m | Show |
At 5 pm, our selection is on the Cal Davis Aggies + the points over Cal Santa Barbara. UCSB comes into this game on an impressive 8-game win streak. Unfortunately, Cal Santa Barbara has burned money in the regular season off 3+ wins. Since 1990, they're an ugly 36-59-2 ATS, including 0-8 ATS vs. .636 (or better) foes if the Gauchos covered their two previous games. Take Cal Davis. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-17-18 | Nebraska-Omaha +15 v. South Dakota | Top | 64-79 | Push | 0 | 3 h 6 m | Show |
At 4:30 pm, our selection is on the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks + the points over South Dakota. Omaha fell by 14 points at home earlier this season to South Dakota. But the Mavericks have been solid in the revenge role over the years, as they're 22-7-1 ATS their last 30. South Dakota, meanwhile, has won its last five, and covered its last four. But it falls into a negative 'contrarian' system of mine which is 51-125 ATS which goes against certain hot teams. Take the double-digits with Omaha. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-17-18 | South Alabama v. Coastal Carolina -5 | Top | 70-72 | Loss | -106 | 10 h 1 m | Show |
At 3:30 pm, our selection is on the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers minus the points over South Alabama. The Jaguars come into this afternoon's game on a 3-game SU/ATS win streak. Unfortunately, South Alabama's an awful 1-7-1 ATS off 3 SU/ATS wins when playing a foe not off a SU/ATS win. Meanwhile, Coastal Carolina's cashed 75% over the past 10 years vs. foes off 3 SU/ATS wins. And it's cashed 63% as a favorite vs. foes off a win, including 89% vs. foes with a winning ATS record. Finally, this will be Coastal Carolina's final home game of the season. And it comes into today's game off back to back upset losses. Since 1990, NCAA teams playing their final home game of the season have cashed 62.1% if they were favored by 3+ points, and off back-to-back upset losses. Take the Chanticleers. Sun Belt Favorite of the Year. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-17-18 | Western Illinois +17.5 v. South Dakota State | Top | 62-82 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 40 m | Show |
At 3 pm, our selection is on the Western Illinois Leathernecks + the points over South Dakota State. It's true that the Jackrabbits blew out Western Illinois by 28 four weeks ago. But the Leathernecks have been solid on the road the past seven seasons when playing with revenge, as they've cashed 62%, including 80% as a double-digit underdog. And Western Illinois also falls into a 140-54 ATS system of mine which plays on certain double-digit underdogs off back to back losses. Take the Leathernecks. |
02-17-18 | Alabama v. Kentucky -4.5 | Top | 71-81 | Win | 100 | 8 h 41 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the Kentucky Wildcats minus the points over Alabama. The Crimson Tide come into today's game off back to back SU/ATS wins. But 'Bama is an awful 32-51-1 ATS away from home off back to back SU/ATS wins when priced as a single-digit underdog (or PK), including 11-34 ATS if their W/L record wasn't worse than their opponent's. Take Kentucky. |
02-17-18 | George Mason v. La Salle -8.5 | Top | 62-69 | Loss | -103 | 8 h 40 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the La Salle Explorers minus the points over George Mason. The Explorers have dropped five straight games ATS, but this ATS losing streak has triggered a terrific 'contrarian' system of mine which is 110-56 ATS since 1990. Moreover, the Patriots upset Dayton, 85-67, as a 4-point home dog on Wednesday. But George Mason is a wallet-busting 5-19-1 ATS off an upset conference win. Take La Salle. |
02-17-18 | Southern Illinois v. Indiana State -2.5 | Top | 76-72 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 39 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the Indiana State Sycamores minus the points over Southern Illinois. Indiana State's on a 3-game SU/ATS losing streak. But I love them to bounce back on Saturday, as Missouri Valley Conference teams have cashed 61.6% at home over the past 26 years off 3 SU/ATS losses, including 69.4% ATS when playing with revenge from a loss earlier in the season. With the Sycamores, indeed, looking to avenge their 82-77 loss in Carbondale last month, we'll lay the points with Indiana State today. |
02-17-18 | Air Force v. Boise State -15.5 | Top | 52-76 | Win | 100 | 7 h 58 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the Boise State Broncos minus the points over Air Force. Boise's 20-6, but comes into this game off back to back upset losses to Utah State and Nevada. However, .725 (or better) teams are an awesome 65.7% ATS over the past 25 years at home when favored by more than 10 points, if they're off back to back upset defeats! Lay the points with the Broncos. NCAA Elite Info Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-17-18 | Indiana v. Iowa +2 | Top | 84-82 | Push | 0 | 7 h 35 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the Iowa Hawkeyes + the points over Indiana. These two teams met earlier this season, and the Hawks fell by 13 points in Bloomington. Currently, the Hawkeyes are mired in a 4-game losing streak, and have been installed as a home dog vs. Indiana, which is 16-9 ATS on the season, and has covered its last four games. But Iowa's a stellar 14-0 ATS as a revenge-minded home dog of +1.5 or more points vs. foes off a SU/ATS win, if that foe also has a winning ATS record. Take Iowa. NCAA Roadkill Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMOrdie. |
02-16-18 | Bowling Green v. Buffalo -14 | Top | 82-95 | Loss | -103 | 14 h 39 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Buffalo Bulls minus the points over Bowling Green. The Falcons come into this game off back to back upset wins, and have covered five in a row, overall. The knee-jerk reaction might be to take the double-digits with the Falcons, especially given that Buffalo's an awful 0-4-2 ATS in its last six games. But consider that, since 1992, double-digit road underdogs have covered just 36% vs. foes off 4+ point spread defeats! Take Buffalo minus the points. NCAA High Roller Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-15-18 | Hawaii +9 v. Cal-Irvine | Top | 62-61 | Win | 100 | 18 h 21 m | Show |
At 11 pm, our selection is on the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors + the points over Cal Irvine. This game is a classic example of two teams going in opposite directions. The Anteaters are on a 5-game SU/ATS win streak, while Hawaii has lost its last five games, and has failed to cover three straight. But Big West Conference teams are an awesome 24-4 ATS off three straight ATS defeats when matched up against a conference foe off back to back ATS wins, including a perfect 11-0 ATS if they also owned a better W/L record (which Hawaii does). Take the Rainbow Warriors. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-15-18 | Colorado v. Washington State +3.5 | Top | 69-73 | Win | 101 | 18 h 20 m | Show |
At 11 pm, our selection is on the Washington State Cougars + the points over Colorado. Wazzu is on a 7-game SU/ATS losing streak. And it's also failed to cover in 11 of its last 12. But, as faithful followers know, I often like to play on teams in freefalls, as such losing streaks often confer value. And this is certainly one of those times, as Washington State falls into a 119-54 ATS system of mine which plays on certain teams on long losing streaks. Also, Colorado has lost its last five games ATS as a road favorite, and is also a horrid 3-16-1 ATS off back to back wins (and 1-8-1 ATS off 3+ wins).  Finally, Washington State lost to the Buffaloes earlier this season in Boulder. But Colorado is a wallet-busting 13-33-2 ATS on the road vs. revenge-minded foes. Take Washington State + the points. NCAA Hoops Payback Payday. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-15-18 | Lakers v. Wolves -10 | Top | 111-119 | Loss | -105 | 16 h 29 m | Show |
At 9:05 pm, our selection is on the Minnesota Timberwolves minus the points over the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers are in a tough spot in this ballgame, as it’s their last game going into the All Star Break. And, even worse for the Lakers, they’re on the road, they’re playing without rest, and their opponent — the Minnesota Timberwolves — are off a loss.  That doesn’t bode well for the Lakers, as unrested NBA teams playing on the road, in their final game before the break, are an awful 30-53 ATS vs. foes off a loss. Take the Timberwolves. Good luck, as always…Al McMordie. |
02-15-18 | Oregon v. USC -5 | Top | 70-72 | Loss | -101 | 16 h 21 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Southern Cal Trojans minus the points over Oregon. USC and Oregon both have won 17 games this season. And each team has just five losses in Pac-12 Conference play. So, this game will have a big impact on the eventual conference standings for the post-season Tournament. It's true that the Trojans come into tonight's game on a 3-game losing streak. But all three of those games were on the road. Here, in Los Angeles, the Trojans have won their last five conference games (3-1-1 ATS). And .651 (or better) teams are 83% ATS the past 10 years at home off 3 road losses. Lay the points with the Trojans. |
02-15-18 | Middle Tennessee v. Southern Miss +7 | Top | 72-62 | Loss | -103 | 15 h 22 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Southern Miss Golden Eagles + the points over Middle Tennessee St. The Blue Raiders have won their last seven games, and also easily defeated the Golden Eagles by 20 points in Murfreesboro earlier this season. So, don't be surprised if Middle Tennessee comes out a bit complacent, and gets knocked off tonight by Southern Miss. And the Golden Eagles have been playing well, of late, as they've covered their last three games, including a 72-54 blowout of Charlotte last Saturday. That bodes well for them tonight, as home dogs off a double-digit straight-up win, and 3 ATS wins, are a super 163-106 ATS since 1990 vs. foes off a win. Even better: Southern Miss is a perfect 7-0 ATS at home this season, and 24-9 ATS their last 33 in Hattiesburg. Take the Golden Eagles. |
02-14-18 | Georgia +10.5 v. Florida | Top | 72-69 | Win | 100 | 17 h 49 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Georgia Bulldogs + the points over Florida. These two teams met 15 days ago, in Athens, and the Bulldogs blew out the Gators, 72-60. Since that game, however, Georgia's gone 0-3 SU/ATS. Meanwhile, Florida's won its last two games, including a 65-41 blowout of South Carolina on Saturday. Unfortunately, though, for the Gators, double-digit, revenge-minded home favorites, off a double-digit win, have covered just 38% since 1990 vs. foes off back-to-back SU/ATS losses. Even worse: Georgia's 22-3 ATS away from home off a loss when matched up against a foe off a win, including a perfect 12-0 ATS when catching 7+ points. Take Georgia + the points. |
02-14-18 | Kentucky +8.5 v. Auburn | Top | 66-76 | Loss | -101 | 16 h 15 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Kentucky Wildcats + the points over Auburn. The Wildcats come into tonight's game off 3 straight losses. And they've also failed to cover their last four games. Meanwhile, Auburn's off a 17-point win (and cover) at Georgia. But that sets up our play tonight, as SEC Conference teams are a perfect 22-0 ATS when getting 6+ points, if they're off 3 straight losses, and also on a 4-game point spread losing streak, and matched up against a conference opponent not off an ATS loss. Take Kentucky. NCAA ELITE INFO WINNER. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-14-18 | Pacers v. Nets +4.5 | Top | 108-103 | Loss | -105 | 17 h 50 m | Show |
At 7:35 pm, our selection is on the Brooklyn Nets + the points over Indiana. The Pacers are off a high-scoring, 121-113 win over the Knicks in their last game (their 2nd straight win, overall). But off those two games, we'll fade Indy on the road, as NBA teams off back to back wins are a soft 93-133 ATS if they scored more than 116 in their previous game, and their opponent is off a loss. Even worse: Indiana is a poor 13-24 ATS on the road off a win, while Brooklyn is a solid 17-5 ATS as an underdog vs. a foe off a win. Take the Nets + the points. NBA Roadkill Winner. Good luck, as always....Al McMordie. |
02-14-18 | Hawks v. Pistons -8.5 | Top | 98-104 | Loss | -105 | 17 h 6 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Detroit Pistons minus the points over Atlanta. These two teams met just three days ago, and the Hawks upset the Pistons, 118-115, as a 4-point home underdog. (Detroit then followed up that loss with a home loss to the Pelicans.) But I love Detroit to avenge that defeat tonight, as the Hawks are an awful 26-55 ATS on the road when playing a rested, revenge-minded foe which Atlanta upset in the previous meeting, including 5-23 ATS since 2007. That doesn't bode well for Atlanta. And neither does the fact that the Pistons are 32-21 ATS their last 53 off an upset defeat. Take Detroit. NBA Game of the Month. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-14-18 | Villanova v. Providence +9.5 | Top | 71-76 | Win | 100 | 15 h 49 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Providence Friars + the points over Villanova. The Wildcats enter this game with a superb 23-2 record. But NCAA teams that have won more than 90% of their games (thru their first 25+ games of the season) are an awful 30-56-3 ATS as single-digit favorites in Conference games vs. foes with a .500 (or better) conference record! Also, Providence is 9-1 ATS its last 10 when playing with same-season revenge. Take the Friars + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-14-18 | Mississippi State v. Vanderbilt -1 | Top | 80-81 | Push | 0 | 3 h 4 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Vanderbilt Commodores minus the points over Mississippi State. These two teams met in Starkville earlier this season, and the Bulldogs blew out Vandy, 80-62. But you know what they say about 'paybacks,' and I love Vandy to avenge that defeat with a blowout of its own, tonight. The Commodores are an awesome 50-33 ATS in the regular season when playing with revenge from a loss earlier in the year, including 6-0 ATS the last three seasons. That doesn't bode well for the Bulldogs. And neither does the fact that Miss State is an awful 15-31-2 ATS away from home in the regular season vs. a foe playing with revenge from a loss earlier in the year, including 1-13 ATS when its foe was off a double-digit loss. With Vandy, indeed, off a double-digit loss at Arkansas, we'll take the Commodores to roll this evening. Take Vandy. NCAA Payback Payday. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-14-18 | South Florida +13.5 v. UCF | Top | 57-72 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 49 m | Show |
At 6 pm (please note the early start time), our selection is on the South Florida Bulls + the points over Central Florida. The Knights upset Memphis, 68-64, as a 3-point underdog in their previous game. But off that upset win, we'll fade UCF as a double-digit favorite, as they fall into a 75-155 ATS 'letdown' system of mine, which goes against certain double-digit faves off upset wins. Also, the underdog has covered 10 of 14 in this rivalry. Take South Florida + the points. |
02-13-18 | Virginia v. Miami-FL +5.5 | Top | 59-50 | Loss | -105 | 16 h 24 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Miami-Fla Hurricanes + the points over Virginia. The Hurricanes are a fantastic 36-3 straight-up their last 39 home games. And they've excelled vs. the better foes, as they've cashed 60% ATS vs. .714 (or better) opponents. We'll grab the points with Miami, as home dogs of more than 5 points, that have won at least 35 of their previous 40 home games, have cashed 68.1% of their conference games since 1990. Take the Hurricanes + the points. |
02-13-18 | South Carolina +12.5 v. Tennessee | Top | 67-70 | Win | 100 | 16 h 19 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the South Carolina Gamecocks + the points over Tennessee. The Gamecocks come into this game off 5 SU/ATS losses, while Tennessee's 18-6 SU and 14-8 ATS. So, the knee-jerk reaction might be to lay the double-digits with the homestanding Volunteers. But double-digit SEC road underdogs have gone 22-5 ATS off 4 point spread defeats. And South Carolina also falls into a 536-400 ATS system of mine which plays on certain double-digit dogs off a SU/ATS home defeat. Take the Gamecocks + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-13-18 | Arkansas v. Ole Miss | Top | 75-64 | Loss | -113 | 14 h 20 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Ole Miss Rebels over Arkansas. Ole Miss comes into tonight's game off 5 straight losses (both SU and ATS). But I love them to bounce back at home tonight, as Ole Miss is a super 94-59-2 ATS at home when priced from +1 to -8 points, while Arkansas is an awful 56-116 ATS on the SEC road when not getting 11+ points! Finally, Ole Miss is 36-11-2 ATS its last 49 games vs. the Razorbacks, including 16-1-1 ATS when priced from +2 to -10. Look for Mississippi to snap its losing streak tonight for coach Andy Kennedy (who just announced he will depart at the end of the season). Take Mississippi. NCAA Elite Info Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-13-18 | Oklahoma +8 v. Texas Tech | Top | 78-88 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 20 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Oklahoma Sooners + the points over Texas Tech. The Sooners defeated Texas Tech, 75-65, in Norman five weeks ago, but have gone 3-6 SU and 1-8 ATS since (including 0-5 ATS their last five). I love the Sooners to cover this big number, as .666 (or better) college hoops teams off 5+ ATS losses are 72% ATS when getting more than 6 points in conference games since 2005. Take the Sooners. |
02-12-18 | East Tennessee State v. NC-Greensboro -1.5 | Top | 56-74 | Win | 100 | 18 h 2 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the North Carolina Greensboro Spartans minus the points over East Tennessee State. The Buccaneers come into this evening's game on an impressive 16-game win streak. But they've been installed as an underdog tonight vs. UNCG. And I expect the Spartans to put a halt to the Bucs' win streak, as College Basketball teams on a 14-game (or better) win streak are 10-32 straight-up and 14-27-1 ATS as underdogs in the regular season vs. conference foes with a worse record. Also, NC-Greensboro is on a solid 8-2 ATS run at home, and is also 15-4-1 ATS in games where the line was less than 9 points. Take UNC-G. NCAA Elite Info Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-11-18 | Washington State +15 v. Oregon | Top | 57-84 | Loss | -109 | 16 h 12 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Washington State Cougars + the points over Oregon. The Cougars have lost their last six games (both SU and ATS), with the last five coming by double-digits. But we'll take the points with Washington State tonight, as Pac-12 Conference road underdogs (or PK) have cashed 61.1% over the past 23 years off three SU/ATS double-digit losses. Take Washington State + the points. NCAA Road Warrior. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-11-18 | Knicks +9 v. Pacers | Top | 113-121 | Win | 100 | 6 h 35 m | Show |
At 5:05 pm, our selection is on the New York Knicks + the points over Indiana. The Knicks were blown out, 113-88, three days ago by Toronto. That was their first game since their All-Star, Kristaps Porzingis, was injured. And it also was their third straight ATS defeat. But I look for the Knicks to snap their losing streak this afternoon, as rested NBA road teams off back to back ATS defeats are 166-118 ATS as underdogs of 8+ points vs. foes that covered by 10+ in their previous game. With Indiana, indeed, off a double-digit cover on Friday vs. Boston, we'll fade the Pacers today. Take New York. NBA High Roller Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-11-18 | Cincinnati v. SMU +8 | Top | 76-51 | Loss | -106 | 12 h 11 m | Show |
At 4 pm, our selection is on the SMU Mustangs + the points over Cincinnati. The Bearcats blew out SMU by 20 points earlier this season. But we'll take the revenge-minded home underdog this afternoon, as SMU is 12-1 ATS its last 13 when playing with revenge from a loss by 15+ points. And the Mustangs also fall into a 101-39 ATS 'revenge' system of mine which plays on certain teams that lost by 20+ points earlier in the season. Take SMU. NCAA Hoops Payback Payday. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-11-18 | Cavs +5 v. Celtics | Top | 121-99 | Win | 100 | 12 h 53 m | Show |
At 3:35 pm, our selection is on the Cleveland Cavaliers + the points over Boston. The Cavaliers' front office orchestrated some great trades to not only shed the team of several players who just weren't working out (Isaiah Thomas, Derrick Rose, Jae Crowder), but also to bring in a great mix of young (Larry Nance, Jr.; Jordan Clarkson; Rodney Hood) and veteran (George Hill) talent. The Cavs were able to hold a practice yesterday on their off day to work on the integration of the new players. All of the players will be available today, though Cleveland's starting lineup should be similar (with one exception) to the one used in its last game, a blowout win over Atlanta. Thus, I expect LeBron James, Cedi Osman and Tristan Thompson to start in the frontcourt, with JR Smith and newcomer George Hill in the backcourt. Once Kevin Love returns, Cleveland will once again be the team to beat in the Eastern Conference. But even without Love, I give them the edge this afternoon vs. Boston. Take the Cavs + the points. NBA Game of the Week. Good luck, as always....Al McMordie. |
02-10-18 | Cal Poly v. Long Beach State -9.5 | Top | 54-73 | Win | 100 | 17 h 51 m | Show |
At 11 pm, our selection is on the Long Beach State 49ers minus the points over Cal Poly SLO. The 49ers dropped their previous game -- also here at home -- to Cal Davis. But Long Beach is an awesome 67.8% ATS since 1990 at home in conference games off a conference home loss. Lay the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-10-18 | USC v. Arizona -5.5 | Top | 67-81 | Win | 100 | 16 h 9 m | Show |
At 10:15 pm, our selection is on the Arizona Wildcats minus the points over USC. The Wildcats were upset in their last games -- also here at home -- by the UCLA Bruins. But I expect Arizona to bounce back tonight, as Arizona's cashed 89% since 1990 as home favorites priced from -3.5 to -13.5 points off an upset home loss. And the Wildcats are also 12-5 ATS their last 17 games vs. USC, including 5-1 ATS off a SU loss. Lay the points with Arizona. NCAA Game of the Week. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-10-18 | Portland v. Pacific -9 | Top | 58-60 | Loss | -106 | 16 h 37 m | Show |
At 10 pm, our selection is on the Pacific Tigers minus the points over Portland. The Tigers have covered their last three games (and also 11 of their last 12). I won't step in front of this freight train here, at home, as Pacific is 97-68 ATS at home off a home game. And those numbers improve to 50-28 ATS when Pacific is matched up against a revenge-minded foe (Pacific already blew out Portland this season). Take Pacific minus the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-10-18 | CS Sacramento +17.5 v. Montana | Top | 69-71 | Win | 100 | 15 h 52 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Sacramento State Hornets + the points over Montana. Sacramento State comes into this game off 3 SU/ATS losses. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies have won 12 straight games, including a 12-point win over these Hornets back in January. But I look for a letdown vs. Sacramento State tonight, as revenge-minded teams off a loss (like the Hornets) have gone 248-195 ATS vs. foes off 12+ wins. Take Sacramento State. NCAA Road Warrior Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-10-18 | Belmont v. Tennessee Tech +7 | Top | 75-70 | Win | 100 | 15 h 37 m | Show |
At 8:30 pm, our selection is on Tennessee Tech + the points over Belmont. The Golden Eagles are 10-1 at home this season, yet find themselves installed as a big home underdog vs. Belmont. I love playing on teams with strong home courts as home underdogs, and won't make an exception here, as Tennessee Tech falls into a 126-59 ATS system of mine which takes such teams. Moreover, Tennessee Tech plays with revenge from a 13-point loss at Belmont. And the Golden Eagles are 40-22 ATS when playing with revenge from a double-digit defeat. Take Tennessee Tech + the points. |
02-10-18 | The Citadel v. Samford -5.5 | Top | 103-116 | Win | 100 | 14 h 48 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on Samford minus the points over The Citadel. Samford's lost its last three games SU/ATS, but has covered 63% as a favorite since 1990 off 3 SU/ATS losses. And it's also 4-1 ATS its last 5 meetings vs. The Citadel. Lay the points. |
02-10-18 | Clippers v. 76ers -3 | Top | 98-112 | Win | 100 | 8 h 36 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Philadelphia 76ers minus the points over the Clippers. The 76ers have won and covered eight straight games here, at home, including a 100-82 beatdown of New Orleans last night. And Philly is 31-15 ATS at home since January 1, 2017. That bodes well for the 76ers tonight. Also, Philly is a solid 21-9 ATS after covering the spread by 10+ points in its previous game. Lay the points with the Sixers. NBA High Roller. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-10-18 | Princeton -5.5 v. Dartmouth | Top | 56-72 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 30 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Princeton Tigers minus the points over Dartmouth. Princeton has won 46 of the last 54 meetings straight-up vs. Dartmouth. And it's also 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings here, in Hanover. It's true that the Tigers come into this game off 3 straight losses. But those defeats have triggered a 237-148 ATS system of mine which plays on certain favorites (or PK) off 3+ losses. Finally, the Big Green is a poor 22-40-1 ATS as home underdogs of +4.5 or more points. Take Princeton. IVY LEAGUE GAME OF THE WEEK. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-10-18 | Dayton v. VCU -4 | Top | 84-88 | Push | 0 | 12 h 48 m | Show |
At 6 pm, our selection is on the VCU Rams minus the points over Dayton.  The Flyers won, 88-73, vs. Duquesne on Wednesday. Unfortunately, Anthony Grant's men are an awful 1-10 SU/ATS off a win. Even worse: Dayton already blew out VCU, 106-79, earlier this season. But VCU is 22-9-1 ATS when favored by less than 12 points, and playing with same-season revenge. Take the Rams minus the points. |
02-10-18 | Arkansas-Little Rock +11 v. Troy State | Top | 64-82 | Loss | -106 | 12 h 35 m | Show |
At 5:15 pm, our selection is on Arkansas Little Rock + the points over Troy. It's true that Little Rock has lost seven straight, while Troy is on a 2-game win streak. But Troy is a dismal 14-30 ATS when laying 2+ points off a win. And it's also 2-6 its last eight games vs. Little Rock.  Meanwhile, Sun Belt Conference underdogs of more than 3 points are 60.2% ATS away from home if they lost their 6 previous games. Take Little Rock. |
02-10-18 | Charlotte +9.5 v. Southern Miss | Top | 54-72 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 9 m | Show |
At 5:30 pm, our selection is on the Charlotte 49ers + the points over Southern Miss. Charlotte comes into this game on a nine-game losing streak, and a 5-17 overall record. But the 49ers fall into 399-238 and 139-69 ATS systems of mine which play on certain awful teams to cover the spread. Also, the 49ers are 9-1 ATS their last 10 meetings at Southern Miss (and 13-3 ATS in their last 16 meetings, regardless of venue). Take Charlotte + the points. |
02-10-18 | Rutgers +9 v. Nebraska | Top | 55-67 | Loss | -102 | 10 h 55 m | Show |
At 4 pm, our selection is on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights + the points over Nebraska. Rutgers dropped its last game -- at home -- by 22 points to the Indiana Hoosiers, as a 2-point underdog. But I love Rutgers to bounce back today off that horrible game, as it's cashed 72% since 1990 in conference games after failing to cover by 20+ points in its previous game. Meanwhile, the 'Huskers are an awful 22% ATS since 1990 in conference games off an upset win, if their opponent is off a SU/ATS home loss. Take Rutgers. NCAA Elite Info Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-10-18 | Quinnipiac +11.5 v. Canisius | Top | 64-71 | Win | 100 | 8 h 51 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the Quinnipiac Bobcats + the points over Canisius. The Golden Griffins bested the Bobcats by eight points, 82-74, on January 5. And Canisius has also won its last three games. Unfortunately, since 1990, Canisius is an awful 38% ATS as a favorite off back to back wins, including 28% ATS vs. revenge-minded foes. Take Quinnipiac. |
02-10-18 | CS-Northridge v. Hawaii -11.5 | Top | 77-71 | Loss | -107 | 6 h 53 m | Show |
At Midnight, our selection is on the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors minus the points over Cal State Northridge. The Rainbows, by virtue of being several hours away from the mainland, have always had a strong home court advantage. And tonight's game falls into a very good long-term situation for Hawaii, as it's off a home loss (and four straight losses, overall). And, since 1990, the Rainbows have covered 61% in conference games at home off a home loss (and 74% if they also lost two games back)! Lay the points with Hawaii. NCAA Roadkill Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-09-18 | Pacers +4.5 v. Celtics | Top | 97-91 | Win | 100 | 8 h 35 m | Show |
At 7:35 pm, our selection is on the Indiana Pacers + the points over the Boston Celtics. Interestingly, both of these teams come off of games vs. the Wizards. Boston had to go to overtime last night to defeat Washington, so will be a bit tired tonight vs. the Pacers. That doesn't bode well for Boston, as it will be facing a very well-rested Pacers team which has had the last 3 days off following its home loss to the Wizards on Monday. Even better: Indy will be playing with revenge tonight from a 1-point loss suffered in their previous meeting, in December. And the Pacers are 131-71 ATS off a loss when rested, and playing with revenge vs. an opponent off a win. Take Indiana. NBA Elite Info. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-08-18 | Pittsburgh +18.5 v. Clemson | Top | 48-72 | Loss | -105 | 16 h 7 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Pittsburgh Panthers + the points over Clemson. We played against Pitt this past Saturday, and cashed a huge play on North Carolina when it blew out the Panthers, 96-65. But that was Pitt's only point spread defeat in its past six games. So, we'll reverse course, and look for Pitt to resume its winning ATS ways on this Thursday. For technical support, consider that ACC Conference teams have gone 77-43-4 ATS as underdogs (or PK) off 25-point (or worse) defeats, provided their opponent wasn't also an ACC team off a 25-point loss. Also, the Panthers fall into several of my favorite NCAA systems, with records of 184-87, 117-65 and 101-42 ATS. Take Pitt. ACC Game of the Year. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-07-18 | UC Riverside v. Hawaii -11 | Top | 64-60 | Loss | -105 | 20 h 13 m | Show |
At Midnight, our selection is on the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors minus the points over Cal Riverside. Both teams enter this game on losing streaks: Hawaii's dropped its last three; Riverside's lost its last 10. But we'll lay the points with the homestanding Rainbow Warriors, as they've dominated this series, with 8 wins (both SU and ATS) in the last 11 meetings. Additionally, the Highlanders have covered just 24 of their last 65 games, while Hawaii falls into a 237-147 ATS system of mine which plays on certain favorites off 3+ losses. Lay the points with Hawaii. Big West Conf. Game of the Week. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-07-18 | Spurs -9.5 v. Suns | Top | 129-81 | Win | 100 | 11 h 27 m | Show |
At 10:35 pm, our selection is on the San Antonio Spurs minus the points over Phoenix. The Spurs have lost their last three games against the point spread. And that bodes well for the Silver and Black tonight, as they're 32-8 ATS as road favorites of -10 or less points, if they're playing a .520 (or worse) opponent. Phoenix will be without its best player -- Devin Booker -- tonight, so that bodes well for the Spurs. Moreover, the Suns have the worst defensive efficiency rating in the NBA, so the Spurs' offense should get back on track. Lay the points. NBA Elite Info Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-06-18 | Thunder v. Warriors -10 | Top | 125-105 | Loss | -102 | 17 h 47 m | Show |
At 10:35 pm, our selection is on the Golden State Warriors minus the points over Oklahoma City. We played on the Warriors two games ago and got the $$$ when they defeated Sacramento in a revenge game, 119-104. Golden State is now 33-18 its last 51 games when playing with revenge, and tonight's game is one of those, as the Thunder bested the Warriors, 108-91, in Oklahoma City back in November. Take Golden State to hand the reeling Thunder their fifth straight loss. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-06-18 | Boise State v. New Mexico -1 | Top | 73-71 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 33 m | Show |
At 10 pm, our selection is on the New Mexico Lobos over Boise State. These two teams met earlier this season in Boise, and the Broncos blew out the Lobos by 28 points, 90-62. But that huge loss sets up our play tonight, as New Mexico falls into a 74% ATS system of mine which plays on certain teams off losses by 27+ points. Additionally, New Mexico falls into a 'contrarian' angle of mine which is 93-48 ATS which plays on certain teams, with a worse record, favored over a better opponent. Finally, New Mexico is a solid 130-93 ATS at home vs. conference foes, including 43-27, 63.1% ATS vs. foes off back to back wins. And it's 5-2-1 ATS when playing with revenge from a 25-point (or worse) conference defeat. Take the Lobos tonight. NCAA Payback Payday! Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-06-18 | Missouri v. Ole Miss -1 | Top | 75-69 | Loss | -105 | 15 h 9 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Ole Miss Rebels minus the points over Missouri. The Rebels lost at Tennessee by 33 points on Saturday. But Ole Miss is a super 19-1 ATS off an SEC loss away from home, including 14-0 ATS since Jan. 27, 2016. And it's also 22-11 ATS as a conference home favorite, if its opponent is off back to back wins. Take Mississippi. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-06-18 | Nebraska v. Minnesota -1.5 | Top | 91-85 | Loss | -105 | 15 h 1 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Minnesota Golden Gophers minus the points over Nebraska. The 'Huskers have won their last three games, and have covered their last five. But this is an awful set-up for Nebraska, as it will have to take on a Gophers squad which is looking to snap a 5-game losing streak. And Minny also will be playing with revenge from an upset loss to these Cornhuskers in Lincoln, in December. Minnesota actually almost ended its losing streak over the weekend, but fell in overtime in Ann Arbor to the Wolverines, as a 12.5-point underdog. But tonight's game is in Minneapolis. And the Cornhuskers are an awful 25-57 ATS as an underdog (or PK) away from home after covering the spread by more than 3 points (and winning straight-up) in its previous game, including 3-9 ATS if its opponent was playing with revenge from a loss earlier in the season. Take Minnesota. Big 10 Game of the Year. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-06-18 | Boston College v. Notre Dame -7 | Top | 85-96 | Win | 100 | 14 h 9 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish minus the points over Boston College. We played on Boston College on Sunday, and were rewarded with a win (and cover) in overtime vs. Georgia Tech. The Eagles now have to travel to South Bend, Indiana to take on an Irish squad which is mired in a 7-game losing streak. But the good news for Notre Dame is that favorites of more than 6 points off 7+ losses have gone 57% ATS at home (or on a neutral court) since 1990. Take the Irish. |

02-06-18 | Grizzlies +2.5 v. Hawks | Top | 82-108 | Loss | -115 | 14 h 41 m | Show |
At 7:35 pm, our selection is on the Memphis Grizzlies + the points over Atlanta. The Hawks won their last game -- 99-96 at New York -- but have covered just four of their last 15 games off a straight-up win. And they're 1-5 ATS their last six as favorites vs. the Grizzlies. Even worse: Atlanta falls into a 33-66 ATS system of mine which fades certain bad teams as home favorites off SU wins. Take the Grizzlies. |
02-06-18 | Celtics v. Raptors -4.5 | Top | 91-111 | Win | 100 | 7 h 23 m | Show |
At 7:35 pm, our selection is on the Toronto Raptors minus the points over Boston. The Raptors lost by a point earlier this season in Boston, but I love them to avenge that defeat tonight. Toronto's currently on a 4-game win streak at home, and the last two wins were by 15+ points. Those two victories have triggered an 88-37 ATS 'momentum' system of mine which plays on certain teams off back to back blowouts. Also, Toronto's 27-12 ATS its last 39 division games, including 6-2 ATS vs. the Celtics (4-0 ATS at home vs. Boston). Lay the points. NBA Division Game of the Month. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-06-18 | Cavs -7 v. Magic | Top | 98-116 | Loss | -102 | 13 h 12 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Cleveland Cavaliers minus the points over Orlando. It's true that the Cavs have been big-time $$$-burners this season, with a 14-36-1 ATS record. But I love them tonight vs. the Magic, as Cleveland has dominated Orlando, with a 19-2 SU and 16-5 ATS record over the past six seasons. And the Cavs will also play this game with two days' of rest, while the Magic will be unrested following a game last night in Miami. Take the Cavaliers minus the points. |
02-06-18 | Northern Illinois +14 v. Toledo | Top | 77-82 | Win | 100 | 13 h 10 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Northern Illinois Huskies + the points over Toledo. It's true that the Huskies were blown out by 16 points, on Saturday, as a 3.5-point home favorite by Miami-Ohio. But the Huskies are a solid 49-27 ATS as a double-digit underdog off a loss, and 42-22 ATS away from home off a home loss. And they also fall into a 386-208 ATS system of mine which plays on certain underdogs off losses. Take the Huskies. |
02-06-18 | Missouri State +2 v. Indiana State | Top | 81-62 | Win | 100 | 7 h 49 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Missouri State Bears + the points over Indiana State. Missouri State is 2-7 SU and 0-9 ATS its last nine games. The knee-jerk reaction might be to play against the ice-cold Bears, but underdogs on a 9-game (or worse) point spread losing streak have actually been decent bets over the years, and especially if the also lost their two previous games, straight-up (63.4% ATS). Take Missouri State. NCAA High Roller. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-06-18 | Xavier v. Butler -3 | Top | 98-93 | Loss | -105 | 13 h 40 m | Show |
At 6:30 pm, our selection is on the Butler Bulldogs minus the points over Xavier. The Bulldogs are on a 4-game SU/ATS win streak, including a 23-point blowout of DePaul on Saturday. We'll take the Bulldogs at home, as they fall into a 'momentum' system of mine which is 175-96 ATS which plays on certain home teams off 3+ SU/ATS wins. Butler's also 8-0 ATS its last eight at home off a win. Lay the points with the Bulldogs. |
02-06-18 | Pennsylvania v. Princeton -4.5 | Top | 82-65 | Loss | -107 | 12 h 10 m | Show |
At 6 pm, our selection is on the Princeton Tigers minus the points over Penn. The Quakers are 15-6 this season, and are undefeated in Ivy League play. But this will actually be their first road game in the Ivy League, after opening league play with five straight home games. And the Quakers have covered just nine of their last 29 Ivy League road games! They've also lost their last eight games, straight-up, at Princeton. Take the Tigers minus the points. |
02-05-18 | Jazz v. Pelicans +1 | Top | 133-109 | Loss | -115 | 5 h 46 m | Show |
At 8:05 pm, our selection is on the New Orleans Pelicans over the Utah Jazz. The Utah Jazz enter the week as one of the league's hottest team, as they've won five straight games (both SU and ATS). And even more impressive has been their offensive production, as they've scored 129, 129 and 120 points in their last three wins! Moreover, their five opponents have not been creampuffs, as four of the wins were of the upset variety, against quality foes (Pistons, Raptors, Warriors and Spurs). That being said, we'll fade the Jazz tonight, as road teams have been poor on the road off 5 SU/ATS wins, if they're matched up against a rested opponent off a straight-up loss. Since 1990, they've gone 81-104-10 (43.7% ATS). Also, teams off back to back wins are a poor 89-130-4 ATS if they scored more than 116 points in their previous game, and their opponent is off a SU loss. Take the Pelicans over the Jazz on Monday. NBA Roadkill Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-04-18 | Eagles +6 v. Patriots | Top | 41-33 | Win | 100 | 325 h 57 m | Show |
At 6:30 pm, our selection is on the Philadelphia Eagles + the points over New England. The Eagles upset the Vikings as 3-point home underdogs. And it wasn't even close, as the Eagles won by 31 points (38-7). Meanwhile, the Patriots failed to cover vs. Jacksonville, as they won by just four (24-20), as a 7.5-point favorite. That doesn't bode well for New England in the Super Bowl, as teams off a point spread defeat in the Conference Championship round have covered just 25% in Super Bowls since 1980. Moreover, it's tough to play away from home in the post-season, and lay points to a team -- like Philadelphia -- with the better defense (the Eagles' defense rates 1.0 ppg better than the Patriots' defense). Indeed, Playoff teams that owned the better defense have covered 73% in this situation over the last 38 years (and 85% if they were getting 3+ points). Finally, teams (like Philadelphia) off back to back wins in which they weren't favored by 3+ points in either of those victories, have gone 8-0-1 ATS in Super Bowls since 1998. Take Philly. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-04-18 | Georgia Tech v. Boston College -3.5 | Top | 72-80 | Win | 100 | 9 h 3 m | Show |
At 12 Noon, our selection is on the Boston College Eagles minus the points over Georgia Tech. The Eagles are at home in Chestnut Hill for this afternoon contest vs. the Yellow Jackets after dropping their last two games (both SU and ATS) vs. Virginia Tech and Syracuse. But the good news for BC is that it has covered 10 straight at home after not registering an ATS win in either of its two previous games. And Boston College also falls into a 129-57 ATS system of mine which plays on certain favorites off 3+ losses. Finally, since 1990, ACC Conference teams are 67% ATS as home favorites off 3+ losses when matched up against a foe with a .500 (or better) SU/ATS record. Take Boston College. NCAA High Noon Hanging. Good luck, as always....Al McMordie. |
02-03-18 | Jazz v. Spurs -6 | Top | 120-111 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 19 m | Show |
At 9:05 pm, our selection is on the San Antonio Spurs minus the points over Utah. The Jazz won last night by 32 points at Phoenix. But they'll have a much more difficult time this evening in the Alamo City, as the Spurs had last night off. And San Antone will also be looking to avenge their loss to the Jazz earlier this season. San Antonio is a super 84-52-2 ATS vs. unrested foes over the last nine seasons, including 27-13 ATS if the Spurs lost their previous game. Lay the points with San Antonio. NBA Payback Payday. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-03-18 | Pittsburgh v. North Carolina -23 | Top | 65-96 | Win | 100 | 14 h 15 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the North Carolina Tar Heels minus the points over Pittsburgh. We played on the Panthers in their last game, and got the $$$ when they covered against Miami. That was the Panthers' fifth straight ATS win. But we'll fade them this evening in Chapel Hill, as they'll be up against a Tar Heel squad which should be in an ornery mood after losing its last three games (both SU and ATS). But the good news for North Carolina is that favorites (or PK) off back-to-back losses have gone 72-46 ATS since 1990 vs. conference foes off 5+ ATS wins, including 15-4 ATS as favorites of 9+ points. Take the Tar Heels. NCAA Big Chalk Game of the Year! Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-02-18 | Warriors -12.5 v. Kings | Top | 119-104 | Win | 100 | 23 h 0 m | Show |
At 10:35 pm, our selection is on the Golden State Warriors minus the points over Sacramento. Everyone knows the Warriors are (by far) the best team in basketball. For the season, they are 40-11 straight-up and 22-29 ATS. Of course, there's nothing wrong with a 40-11 record. But upon close inspection, what jumps out is that they've lost six home games. And five of those losses were to mediocre (or worse) teams: Detroit, Sacramento, Denver, Charlotte, and the LA Clippers. Those are teams that the Warriors could beat in their sleep. So, the fact that they've lost those five home games really means just one thing: the Warriors are going through the motions this regular season. Because of this, if one is going to play on the Warriors, one has to try to find a spot where they will come to play. Tonight is one of those spots. First, Golden State was blown out in its last game by Utah, 129-99. And that not only was the most points the Warriors have given up this season, but it also was their largest defeat (30 points) in the regular season in almost two years (137-105 loss to Portland, Feb. 19, 2016). But Golden State is 36-17 ATS off a loss by 9+ points if their opponent is off a win (and Sacramento is, indeed, off a win). The second reason I love the Warriors tonight is that they play with revenge from that aforementioned home loss to Sacramento. And the Warriors are 11-1 (92%) ATS when playing a regular season game with revenge vs. a conference foe. Take Golden State. NBA Conference Game of the Week. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-02-18 | Utah v. Colorado +1 | Top | 55-67 | Win | 102 | 5 h 56 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Colorado Buffaloes over Utah. The Buffaloes were swept by Utah in the two meetings last season, but I love Colorado to avenge those losses this evening. And especially because Colorado checks into this game on a 3-game losing streak (while Utah is on a 3-game ATS win streak). Indeed, since 1990, revenge-minded teams off a SU/ATS loss (and 3+ losses, overall) have gone 380-313 ATS vs. conference foes off three straight ATS wins. Additionally, Colorado is a solid 25-11 ATS at home off 3+ losses. Take the Buffaloes. NCAA Hoops High Roller Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-02-18 | Rhode Island v. VCU +3.5 | Top | 81-68 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 37 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the VCU Rams + the points over Rhode Island. The Rams have been installed as a home underdog, notwithstanding the fact that they've won 36 of their last 41 home games, straight-up (18-13-1 ATS). VCU plays with revenge from a loss in the Atlantic 10 Tournament to Rhode Island. And NCAA Teams have gone 46-14 ATS at home vs. .770 (or better) conference foes when playing with revenge from a Tourney defeat, if they were not favored by more than 4 points. Take the Rams. Atlantic 10 Game of the Week. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-02-18 | Niagara v. St. Peter's -3 | Top | 52-58 | Win | 100 | 4 h 33 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the St. Peters Peacocks minus the points over Niagara. The Peacocks were upset by Siena, 59-57, in their last game, and have dropped their last six games, overall, to fall to 8-13 on the season. Meanwhile, Niagara is 14-9, and comes into this game off back to back wins. Yet St. Peters finds itself installed as a favorite in this game. The knee-jerk reaction might be to play on the underdog Purple Eagles. But consider that teams off upset conference losses, that were on a 4-game (or worse) losing streak, have covered 16 of 17 (94.1% ATS) as home favorites vs. conference foes off back to back SU/ATS wins. Take St. Peters. NCAA Elite Info Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-01-18 | Thunder -1 v. Nuggets | Top | 124-127 | Loss | -103 | 10 h 40 m | Show |
At 10:35 pm, our selection is on the Oklahoma City Thunder over Denver. The Thunder had won eight straight games before being upset in the Nation's Capital, on Tuesday. The Wizards won that game, 102-96, as a 3-point underdog. But I love Russell Westbrook & Co. to bounce back tonight, as they fall into a 95-35 ATS system of mine which plays on certain road teams in division games to bounce back off losses. The Thunder are an awesome 110-75 ATS on the road since 1992 in the regular season off an upset loss. And they're 12-3 SU and 9-5-1 ATS in the last 15 meetings vs. the Nuggets. Take OKC. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-31-18 | Hornets -2.5 v. Hawks | Top | 123-110 | Win | 100 | 16 h 12 m | Show |
At 7:35 pm, our selection is on the Charlotte Hornets over the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks upset Minnesota, 105-100, in their last game. But we'll fade Atlanta today, as I love going against bad teams off wins (and the Hawks fall into a negative 49-108 ATS system of mine which fades certain such teams). Also, Atlanta is an awful 4-9-1 ATS off a win this season, including 1-8-1 ATS vs. an opponent off a straight-up loss (and 0-3 vs. a foe off back to back losses). Meanwhile, the Hornets are a super 58-30 ATS off back-to-back SU/ATS losses, when matched up against an opponent off a win. Take Charlotte to blow out Atlanta. NBA High Roller. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-31-18 | Pittsburgh +16.5 v. Miami-FL | Top | 57-69 | Win | 100 | 16 h 39 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Pittsburgh Panthers + the points over Miami. The Panthers are not winning their games, straight-up, but they've been cashing tickets in Vegas. Pitt has lost its last nine games, but has covered its last four. And I love the Panthers tonight, as they fall into a 182-87 ATS system of mine, which plays on certain road teams off losses. Even better: ACC Conference teams, off five (or more) conference defeats, are 99-74-5 ATS since 1991. Take Pittsburgh. |
01-30-18 | Auburn v. Ole Miss +4.5 | Top | 79-70 | Loss | -105 | 18 h 52 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Mississippi Rebels + the points over Auburn. Ole Miss is 10-3 SU at home this season, and it's covered its last six home games in a row. Mississippi did lose its last game, 85-72, at Texas. But that bodes well for Mississippi tonight, as it's an awesome 44-25 ATS at home vs. SEC Conference foes if Ole Miss is off a double-digit loss, including 13-0 ATS its last 13 vs. foes with a .500 (or better) Conference record. Take Mississippi + the points. SEC Conference Game of the Month. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-30-18 | Wolves v. Raptors -6.5 | Top | 104-109 | Loss | -107 | 16 h 28 m | Show |
At 7:35 pm, our selection is on the Toronto Raptors minus the points over Minnesota. The Timberwolves dropped their fifth game of the last eight last night when they fell, 105-100, to the Atlanta Hawks. And that loss lowered Minnesota's road record to 1-7 SU/ATS its last eight road games. And its only win during this stretch was at the pedestrian LA Clippers. But Minnesota's opponent tonight is anything but pedestrian. Toronto owns the league's 3rd best margin of victory (7.29) and also its 3rd best net efficiency rating. Even better for the Raptors: since 1990, they've covered 60% at home when rested and playing with revenge from a loss earlier in the season to a non-conference foe, if that foe was unrested. Take Toronto. NBA Non-Conference Game of the Month. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-29-18 | Suns v. Grizzlies -8 | Top | 109-120 | Win | 100 | 9 h 0 m | Show |
At 8:05 pm, our selection is on the Memphis Grizzlies minus the points over Phoenix. The Suns had to play last night, and lost at Houston. Meanwhile, Memphis has had the last two days off. Even worse for Phoenix: star Devin Booker is injured and is questionable to play tonight. Since 1990, the Suns are a poor 39% ATS on the road in back to back road games, when playing without rest, and matched up against a rested opponent off back to back losses. Take Memphis. NBA ROADKILL WINNER. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-28-18 | 76ers +4 v. Thunder | Top | 112-122 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 4 m | Show |
At 6:05 pm, our selection is on the Philadelphia 76ers + the points over Oklahoma City. Quietly, the 76ers have been the NBA's 2nd best team since Christmas. Philly has won 10 of its last 13 games, including an upset win in San Antonio on Friday. Not only did that victory vs. the Spurs snap a 13-game losing streak for the 76ers in San Antonio, but the 76ers also held the Spurs to a season-low 78 points. Now, they'll attempt to snap another long losing streak when they take on the Thunder. Interestingly, OKC owns the longest, current win streak vs. an opponent, as it's defeated the 76ers 17 straight times (12-5 ATS) since 2009. The knee-jerk reaction might be to play on the Thunder in this game. But consider that teams on a 16-game (or worse) losing streak have actually done quite well over the years, as they're 49-22 ATS in the regular season since 1997. Even worse for OKC is that it lost its best defensive player -- Anthony Roberson -- to injury in yesterday's win vs. Detroit. Roberson is one of those players whose value cannot be overstated. Indeed, with Roberson on the court, OKC has a defensive rating of 96.8 and a net rating of +8.5. Without Roberson, OKC's defensive rating falls almost 11 points, to 107.7. And its net rating decreases nine points, to -0.2. Take Philly. NBA High Roller Winner. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
01-28-18 | Purdue v. Indiana +11 | Top | 74-67 | Win | 100 | 12 h 4 m | Show |
At 3:30 pm, our selection is on the Indiana Hoosiers + the points over Purdue. The Hoosiers are a super 20-8 ATS as home underdogs vs. Big 10 Conference foes, provided Indiana's win percentage was .415 (or better). That bodes well for the Hoosiers today, as does the fact that the home team is 28-19 in this rivalry. Finally, teams (like Purdue) that have won their 15 previous games are a poor 67-92 ATS in the regular season as double-digit favorites vs. conference foes off a loss. Take Indiana. |
01-28-18 | Michigan State v. Maryland +5.5 | Top | 74-68 | Loss | -103 | 10 h 43 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Maryland Terrapins + the points over Michigan St. Maryland is 12-1 at home this season (7-2 ATS), and has also won 68 of its last 78 home games, straight-up. The Terps are also 10-3 ATS their last 13 as home underdogs, and play this game with revenge from a 30-point defeat in East Lansing, on January 4. We'll grab the points with Mark Turgeon's men, as revenge-minded teams with a .583 (or better) win percentage, and a home W/L percentage of at least .834, are 73.6% ATS as home underdogs of +3 or more points vs. .860 (or better) conference foes, provided our home dog doesn't have a winning conference record. But that's not the best part: if our home pup was playing with revenge from a loss by 16+ points earlier in the season, then our 73.6% angle zooms to 90% ATS since 1992. Take Maryland. |
01-28-18 | Villanova v. Marquette +8 | Top | 85-82 | Win | 100 | 10 h 43 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Marquette Golden Eagles + the points over Villanova. Marquette has been strong on its home court over the years. It's 9-3 this season, and has won 34 of its last 45 at home. Here, the Golden Eagles have been installed as a home underdog. We'll grab the points, as home dogs of more than 5 points have covered 65% since 1993, if they've won at least 29 of their previous 40 home games, straight-up, and they're matched up against a .900 (or better) conference foe off back to back SU/ATS wins. Take Marquette. |
