Denver got its first win of 2019 with a road victory over the Chargers.
The Titans continued their topsy-turvy regular season by losing at home to the Bills.
Oddsmakers have given Denver the benefit of the doubt at home but it’s been a struggle for anybody to figure out either of these two teams so far this season.
Tennessee Titans
Neither one of these teams did a whole lot offensively in Week 5 but the Titans looked anemic against the Bills and mustered just seven points at home.

Tennessee didn’t turn it over but went just 4-of-14 on third down and gained just 252 yards of total offense. It’s only score, a Derrick Henry one-yard plunge, came off of Josh Allen’s only interception of the game.
Henry finished with 78 yards on 20 carries and that touchdown. Marcus Mariota went just 13-for-22 for 183 yards, 57 of which came on a single pass to Jonnu Smith. He was sacked five times.
The real disaster for Tennessee, though, was its kicker, Cairo Santos. He missed all four of his field goal opportunities, the second-to-last of which set up Buffalo’s game-winning touchdown.
Santos missed from 50, 36, 33, and 53. It’s hard to survive an 0-for-4 day in the NFL as a kicker, though was 4-for-5 coming into the game. Keep an eye on what Tennessee does with its special teams.
Denver Broncos
Denver controlled the game on the ground and escaped Los Angeles with a 20–13 victory over the Chargers.
The game was never really even that close. The Broncos got up 14–0 early on a game-opening touchdown drive followed by a Courtland Sutton bomb good for 70 yards. Brandon McManus eventually made it 17–0.

The Chargers fought to stay in it but they only made it a one-possession game at the end with a field goal that let them try an onside kick and Hail Mary, which never matriculated. Denver recovered and clinched its first victory of the year.
Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman combined for 175 yards on 28 carries. Lindsay was particularly great, gaining 114 and the game’s first touchdown on 15 touches.
He helped Denver ice the game with a late field goal to make it 20–10.
Joe Flacco went 14-for-20 but threw an interception and went down behind the line of scrimmage three times. The bomb to Sutton was a nice throw but the receiver did a lot of the work after the catch.
Flacco just doesn’t give this offense much of a big play dynamic.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Tennessee +2.5
I can’t ignore the fact that I’m scared to back Tennessee’s shoddy special teams in a game that should be close and low-scoring.
This is a gut play, though. Tennessee has a knack for coming up with wins when people start ruling it out and this is a spot where the Titans very well may be the better team but are getting a couple points on the road that could play in a game between two offenses that won’t move the ball a whole lot.
If the Titans can shadow Sutton and hone in on that Denver running game, it can escape Mile High with a road win and a .500 record.
