The last time these two teams faced off the Buccaneers came out ahead 27-24.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Going into week three with the first two games against the Cleveland Browns and the Kansas City Chiefs who would have thought that they would still be looking for their first win of the season.
After finishing the first game in a tie the defense struggled all afternoon against the pass game of the Chiefs and that led to a loss.
They allowed Patrick Mahomes to throw for 326 yards and six touchdowns. They made a comeback late but they were down too much by that point and couldn’t pull it out in the end.

Big Ben also got off to a slow start but finished the game strong throwing for 452 yards and three touchdowns. He of course is going to need to play well in this game but it starts with the defense.
The Bucs pass game has been spot on the first few weeks and they need to play better especially against the deep ball.
If they allow the deep ball it could be a long game and there is a chance they go into week four with a victory yet.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
On the other side of this matchup is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who have shocked a lot of team with their start. With Ryan Fitzpatrick as the starting quarterback, he has led the team to two straight wins and he looks like he maybe should be the starter once Jameis Winston comes back.
Against a good defense in the Philadelphia Eagles he threw for 402 yards, four touchdowns and an interception. Two of his pass touchdowns were 75 yards and he and Desean Jackson look to have quite the connection on the deep pass.
On the defensive side the secondary is banged up but they seem to do enough in the ball games with what the offense does to be able to come away with a victory.

In this game a couple of things are going to need to happen to come out ahead. The defense needs to frustrate Big Ben and try to throw him off his game all night.
The Bucs defense also needs to try and torch the secondary of the Steelers. If those two things happen they have a great shot to win this game.

I think that Big Ben will struggle and Fitzmagic will have a big game. It will be close but look for the Bucs to move to 3-0 on the season.
