As the odds imply, there isn’t one clear cut favorite heading into this season. Let’s break down each individual team and see where the value lies here with just over a month before the regular season gets underway.
The Cowboys last season were an absolute wreck and that’s being nice about the situation.

Injuries plagued this team in the 2015-2016 season as Tony Romo and Dez Bryant both went down early in the season, really putting this team against the wall.
Dallas didn’t do much in terms of free agent signings, but getting healthy was the main goal this off season and they did just that.
Orlando Scandrick, Tony Romo, and Dez Bryant are back and will have one of the expected top running backs from this draft in Ezekiel Elliott to add to the list of talent.
We saw last season that without Romo and Bryant, this team can’t compete. Given that, their health is probably the most important factor this season.
2016 NFC East Predictions: New York Giants
Giants Odds to win NFC East: +250
Giants Odds To Win 2016 AFC Conference: +1600
Giants Odds to win Super Bowl: +2800
There is no beating around the bush when it comes to this team.
QB Eli Manning has to be better and much more consistent that he’s been in the past. Manning recorded a career high in pass attempts in 2015 and was asked to do a lot last year that he simply wasn’t capable of doing.
With Odell Beckham Jr. the obvious main target, him and Manning must put up significant numbers.
The run game for the Giants is so inconsistent and unreliable that even in goal to go situations Manning will likely be passing.
2016 NFC East Predictions: Washington Redskins
Redskins Odds to win NFC East: +350
Redskins Odds to Win 2016 NFC Conference: +2300
Redskins Odds to win Super Bowl: +6000
With Robert Griffin III recovering from injury, the Washington Redskins elected to go with Kirk Cousins last year under center.

Cousins tossed for nearly 4200 yards last season to go along with 29 touchdown passes as he maneuvered the Redskins in to the Wild Card Game.
After Griffin III went to Cleveland this past offseason, it’s now completely Cousins team, but he will have a lot of pressure on him.
The Redskins run game is the biggest question mark. Matt Jones leads an unproven pack of backs that likely won’t be any sort of threat, which means Cousins may be asked to throw in 3rd down and short situations.
Luckily for him, he has DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon out wide to work with, two solid options that can go up and get it.
2016 NFC East Predictions: Philadelphia Eagles
Eagles Odds to win NFL East: +400
Eagles Odds to Win 2016 NFC Conference: +3200
Eagles Odds to win Super Bowl: +8000
The Eagles took a step in the wrong direction last year finishing 7-9 after back to back 10-6 seasons.
Philadelphia has transitioned from Chip Kelly to Doug Pederson heading into this season, which leads many to believe that fast paced offense will completely be gone.
All eyes will be on Sam Bradford this season, but Chase Daniel and Carson Wentz is right on his heels. All three QBs have the potential to be good, but health is a major concern, especially for Bradford.
Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles lead the backs, which offers the Eagles many different packages to work with. Both RBs have the ability to run out of the backfield and make receiver like plays.

The key will be health. Cutler, Romo, and Bradford all of a past history of injuries on their resume.
With neither team really having a dominant run game either, the QBs are going to need to step their game up.
Given all the circumstances, the Cowboys are in store for a big season. Romo and Bryant staying healthy is a must, but it’s their division to lose heading into this season.
