2015-16 NBA Previews – Jazz The Utah Jazz went into the 2014 NBA All-Star Game with 19-34 record. It wasn’t ideal by any means, but it’s where most anticipated this group would be at that point in the process. Following All-Star Weekend, the group from Salt Lake City turned things around and finished the year 19-10 (post All-Star) and won’t be surprising anybody who paid attention to what they accomplished late last season.

2015-16 NBA Previews – Trail Blazers The Portland Trail Blazers were strong contenders for the 2014-2015 NBA Championship with 40-1 odds behind star players LaMarcus Aldridge and Damian Lillard. With Lillard being the only returning starter on this team, this season could be a shaky one for Rip City.
2015-16 NBA Previews – 76ers The Philadelphia 76ers have been in tank mode for years now. And just when it seemed they might be primed to make a push out of the basement of the already-watered-down Eastern Conference, Joel Embiid, the team’s prized acquisition from the 2014 draft, required season-ending foot surgery before the 2015-16 NBA campaign even began.
2015-16 NBA Previews – Nuggets The Denver Nuggets were, let’s say, dysfunctional during the 2014-15 NBA season. A change in head coach, a few player moves and a decent selection in the draft have given this squad a puncher’s chance at a more respectable season in 2015-16, but there’s still much to be desired without a true go-to option to be found on the roster.
NBA Futures Predictions LeBron James has guided his team to the NBA Finals in each of the last five years, each time winning the Eastern Conference Finals. The East is just as top-heavy again this season, and the Cleveland Cavaliers are again the team to beat, as is reflected in the odds comparison below.
NBA Futures Predictions The Western Conference is certainly the tougher of the two in the NBA right now. The Cleveland Cavaliers won 53 games last season, and that was good for the second best record in the Eastern Conference.
NBA Futures Predictions The Pacific Division is home to the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors, and so, not surprisingly, they’re the team heavily favored to take down the division again in 2015-16.
NBA Futures Predictions With two of the top 5 talents in basketball, and very little competition for the top spot, the Oklahoma City Thunder appear poised to run away with the NBA’s Northwest Division.
NBA Futures Predictions It’s getting tougher and tougher to justify betting against the San Antonio Spurs in the Southwest Division. Even as the team’s stars age, and we’re all ready to finally write them off, they go out and sign the biggest free agent on the market.
NBA Futures Predictions The Atlanta Hawks caught a lot of people by surprise a year ago when they made major strides in running away with the Southeast Division in one of the finest seasons the franchise has had in recent memory.
NBA Futures Predictions The Chicago Bulls were unable to give the Cleveland Cavaliers the kind of spirited competition for top spot in the Central Division – and Eastern Conference, for that matter – that many expected last season, and one wonders if a fully healthy Bulls team would even be capable of doing as such.
NBA Futures Predictions The Toronto Raptors ran away with the NBA’s Atlantic Division a year ago, and they’ve only served to bulk up their roster with the addition of DeMarre Carroll.
