11-25-13 | Chicago Bulls v. Utah Jazz +4.5 | 83-89 | Win | 100 | 6 h 9 m | Show
Utah +4.5
The Utah Jazz play host to the Chicago Bulls on Monday night. The Bulls are in complete disarray right now and it's our opinion that the wrong team is favored in this matchup. Derrick Rose is lost for the season with another knee injury and the locker room must be a mess following that announcement. Chicago knows that their season is over and we expect their play on the court to suffer. Rose isn't the only Bull that's sidelined right now either. Jimmy Butler remains on the shelf with a toe injury, further cementing their position as a subpar squad. The Bulls lost 121-82 to the Clippers yesterday and now have to play the second game of a back-to-back, and their fourth game in five nights. Along with the mental fatigue stemming from the Rose injury, Chicago will be facing some serious physical fatigue. We're fully aware that the Jazz are one of the league's bottom feeders, but it's important to note that their recent schedule has not been forgiving. Utah's last eight games have come against the Thunder, Mavericks, Pelicans (twice), Warriors (twice), Nuggets, and Spurs. Now they return home to take on a Bulls team that's just 1-6 on the road this season. The Bulls are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400. The Jazz are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall. Take Utah. 8* Play on Utah Jazz +4.5 |

11-25-13 | Winnipeg Jets v. New Jersey Devils UNDER 5 | 3-1 | Win | 100 | 4 h 28 m | Show
New Jersey & Winnipeg under 5
The New Jersey Devils play host to the Winnipeg Jets on Monday night. It's no secret that the Devils play a defensive brand of hockey. New Jersey is know for their neutral zone trap system and subsequently, it's very difficult for opponents to generate any scoring chances. Devils' goaltenders Martin Brodeur is long past his glory years but he's still a remarkable 6-2-0 since October 29th, with a 1.25 GAA and a .948 save percentage. Brodeur's numbers are a testament to the Devils' stout defensive system. The Jets have topped three goals just once in their last six games, so expect goals to be difficult to come by for Winnipeg again on Monday night. Meanwhile, the Devils' offense is awful. New Jersey has scored just three times in their past two games and have averaged an abysmal 2.13 goals per game this season. The under is 24-8-12 in the Devils last 44 games. The under is 4-0-3 in the Devils last 7 home games. The under is 15-5-2 in the Jets last 22 road games. Take the under. 9* Play on New Jersey & Winnipeg under 5 |

11-24-13 | Indianapolis Colts v. Arizona Cardinals -1 | 11-40 | Win | 100 | 65 h 16 m | Show
Arizona -1
The Indianapolis Colts travel to Arizona to battle the Cardinals on Sunday afternoon. The public still believes the Colts are in the upper echelon of the NFL and we'll take advantage of that false notion. Indianapolis has trailed by an average of 19 points at the half in their last three games; which isn't the sign of a good team. This week, the Colts will be going up against Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians, who led Indianapolis to an 8-3 record as interim head coach last season. Arians knows Andrew Luck inside and out and should be able to devise a game plan to keep him in check. Luck isn't particularly good on the road either. The former Stanford standout has a mediocre 16:15 touchdown to interception ratio away from home in his NFL career. Arizona has been quietly playing really good football in recent weeks. The Cardinals have won five of their last seven games, with those two losses coming against elite teams in the Seahawks and 49ers. Take Arizona. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Arizona Cardinals -1 |

11-24-13 | Chicago Bears v. St. Louis Rams | 21-42 | Win | 100 | 62 h 9 m | Show
St. Louis pk
The St. Louis Rams play host the Chicago Bears on Sunday afternoon. The Bears are in a terrible spot this week. Chicago played through a long weather delay and an overtime period last week against the Ravens and now they have to travel out on the road to battle a well-rested Rams team coming off of a bye. Aside from the spot, the X's and O's don't favor the Bears either. St. Louis has actually played some really good football as of late. The Rams defense has limited opponents to a stingy 283 yards per game over their last four contests, and most impressively, held Russell Wilson and Andrew Luck to a combined 22 points. On the other side of things, the Bears' defense has been horrid. Chicago has given up a mind-boggling 727 yards on the ground over their last four games, which means that emerging running back Zac Stacy should have a huge day for fantasy owners. Chicago's pass defense hasn't been much better either. Chicago has mustered only 17 quarterback sacks this season while allowing opposing quarterbacks to throw for 7.9 yards per attempt. In his limited action, Kellen Clemens has shown that he isn't much of a downgrade from Sam Bradford. The Bears are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games against NFC opponents. The Rams are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a bye week. Take St. Louis Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on St. Louis Rams pk |

11-24-13 | Pittsburgh Steelers v. Cleveland Browns | 27-11 | Loss | -120 | 62 h 8 m | Show
Cleveland pk
The Cleveland Browns host the Pittsburgh Steelers in an AFC North battle on Sunday. The Browns are offering up great value this week after last week's results. Cleveland was blown out in Cincinnati but that game was a complete farce as the Bengals barely mustered 200 yards. Meanwhile, the Steelers knocked off the Lions as an underdog, but it's important to note that that game was at the friendly confines of Heinz Field. The Steelers have been awful on the road this season. Pittsburgh has lost four of their five road games this year, with their lone victory coming at the Jets after their bye week. Cleveland has the league |

11-23-13 | Colorado Avalanche v. Los Angeles Kings -140 | Top | 1-0 | Loss | -140 | 23 h 9 m | Show |
Los Angeles ML
The Los Angeles Kings host the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday night. Don't let the records of these two teams fool you; the Kings have a huge edge on this night and we'll be stepping up with a 10* top rating. The Kings are the best home team in the league and it isn't even close. Their Corsi For % of 59.5 at the Staples Center indicates that they are extremely dominant in front of their home crowd. Los Angeles dropped their last home contest 2-1 to New Jersey despite outshooting the Devils 35-15. The Kings seldom drop two in a row at home. The main question mark surrounding Los Angeles is their goaltending. Jonathan Quick is on the shelf but Ben Scrivens has performed admirably in relief, boasting a stellar 1.19 GAA in his last five contests. Goaltending is not an issue for the Kings right now. Meanwhile, Colorado continues to win with smoke and mirrors. Following a three-game losing streak, the Avalanche have reeled off two straight wins despite being outshot by 28 shots in those two games. Colorado's road record is also a farce. The Avalanche are 7-2 away from home this season but a Corsi For % of 42.4 indicates that they've been dominated in those games. Colorado's luck is soon to run out. To make matters worse for the Avalanche, they're without their leading scorer as Matt Duchene remains sidelined with an oblique injury. Colorado isn't a very deep team, so the injury to Duchene is a huge issue. Last but not least, special teams play definitely favors the Kings in this contest. Los Angeles has six goals on 26 power plays over their last six home games. Meanwhile, Colorado has allowed five power-play goals on 13 chances over their last four games. The Kings are 40-12 in their last 52 home games. The Kings are 25-9 in their last 34 after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game. The Avalanche are 2-6 in the last 8 meetings in Los Angeles. Take Los Angeles. Good Luck, Razor Ray 10* Play on Los Angeles Kings ML |

11-23-13 | Boston Celtics v. Atlanta Hawks OVER 194 | 94-87 | Loss | -102 | 21 h 46 m | Show
Atlanta & Boston over 194
The Atlanta Hawks host the Boston Celtics on Saturday night. Atlanta is coming off a 96-89 win at Detroit, while Boston fell to Indiana in their last game, 97-82. The Celtics are in full out rebuild mode, and while the team has some good contributors that can fill the basket like Jeff Green and Avery Bradley, they have simply been inept at their end of the court. The Celtics have allowed opponents to put up 105.0 points per game over their last five contests. The last three meetings between these teams have each soared over the total, with both sides eclipsing the 100 point marks, and the three games producing an average output of 222.7 points. One player that will help out out cause in this one is Kyle Korver, who has been lights out from three this season, knocking down better than 52 percent of his shots from beyond the arc. The over is 8-2 in Boston's last 10 games versus Southeast Division opponents. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Atlanta & Boston over 194 |

Washington & New York over 191.5
The Washington Wizards host the New York Knicks on Saturday night. The Wizards are coming off a 96-88 loss to the Raptors, while the Knicks dropped their last game to Indiana, 103-96. The Wizards played little to no defense in their Friday night matchup with the Raptors, and there is little reason to expect anything but the same on the second night of a back-to-back. Washington continues to get tremendous guard play out of John Wall and Bradley Beal. Wall put together a great shooting night on Friday, hitting on 15 of 21 shots from the floor in a 37-point night. New York will counter with one of the best scorers in the game today in Carmelo Anthony, who is coming off a 30-point night against Indiana. The Knicks have been a very different team without Tyson Chandler, a former defensive player of the year, as without him, and with added minutes going to the defensively inept Andrea Bargnani, the team's defense has been almost non-existent. New York shouldn't have much trouble scoring either, as they put in 120 points in their last game against Washington. The over is 8-3 in Washington's last 11 home games. Take the OVER. Notre Dame is coming off a 28-21 loss to Pittsburgh, while BYU beat Idaho State their last time out, 59-13. Texas A&M vs. LSU Over 73
The Texas A&M Aggies and LSU Tigers matchup against each other in a huge SEC battle in Baton Rouge Saturday afternoon. There is no doubt that Johnny Manziel is having another special season for the Aggies. Manziel won the Heisman last year, and he has a chance to have another Heisman moment in this game. Manziel is one of those guys that brings his best when the Aggies are playing a top notch opponent. LSU definitely fits the mold, and you better believe that Manziel has been chomping at the bit looking forward to this game. The Texas A&M defense is horrible, and LSU |

New Orleans -6.5
The New Orleans Pelicans host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night. New Orleans is coming off a 105-98 win over Utah, while Cleveland dropped their last outing to Washington, 98-91. This selection comes down to the home/road splits for both teams. Backing New Orleans at home has been a profitable endeavor, while the same cannot be said for Cleveland's play on the road. The Cavaliers are 1-8 ATS in their last nine road games. The Pelicans have posted a 4-2 record in their own building, while the Cavaliers have record a woeful 1-6 mark when taking to the road. The Pelicans are 6-2 ATS in their last eight home games versus teams with a road winning percentage below .400. New Orleans also received a boost recently when Ryan Anderson came back from injury. His play from beyond the arc has really keyed the team, and helped their cause night in and night out. His return halted a three-game slide, and his slick shoting has the Pelicans knocking down 42.2 percent of their shots, good for third in the Association. The Cavaliers are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 trips to New Orleans. Take New Orleans. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on New Orleans Pelicans -6.5 |

11-21-13 | Chicago Blackhawks -149 v. Winnipeg Jets | 6-3 | Win | 100 | 10 h 40 m | Show
Chicago ML
The Winnipeg Jets host the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday night. Winnipeg is coming off a 5-4 shootout loss to Calgary, while Chicago dropped their last game in Colorado, 5-1. There is no question that more often than not, the team we like most on the board night in and night out is the Chicago Blackhawks. The team can score with anyone, plays sound defensively, and gets great goaltending. However, it simply isn't responsible to pick them that often because they are simply too pricey. As such, we need to pick our spots, and this is certainly one that has us running, not walking, to the betting window. The Blackhawks are coming off of an ugly loss in Colorado and will be looking to take out some of their frustration on the Jets. Winnipeg is a great opponent for Chicago to draw in this spot, because they have simply been lousy all year, making them a prime candidate to run up the score on. With this game holding extra meaning for Chicago, we're willing to buy in at a price a little higher than we usually do, although one that still offers great value. Take Chicago. 11-20-13 | Brooklyn Nets v. Charlotte Bobcats UNDER 189 | 91-95 | Win | 100 | 6 h 8 m | Show
Charlotte & Brooklyn under 189
The Charlotte Bobcats host the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night. Charlotte is coming off an 86-81 win over Chicago, while Brooklyn fell to Portland in their last game, 108-98. This game features a pair of teams that play in the halfcourt offense. Neither side will be in any hurry whatsoever to get things going quickly, and as such, we could be in for a very low scoring game on Tuesday. Brooklyn's veteran players have had trouble meshing, and the team's offense has taken a big hit, particularly on the road. As for Charlotte, opponents have finally figured out that the team's offense can be stopped if Al Jefferson is stopped. The team has been held to just 89.0 points per game over their last 10 games, and rank dead last in the NBA, scoring 88.5 points per game on the year. The under is 4-0 in Charlotte's last four games overall. Things have been even worse for the team in their last two contests, as they've been held to 81 points each time out. The team has compensated with a defense that surrenders just 92.9 points per game. The under is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these teams. Take the UNDER. Montreal & Minnesota under 5
The Montreal Canadiens host the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night. Montreal is coming off a 1-0 loss to New York, while Minnesota beat Winnipeg in their last game, 2-1. The Wild played some of the ugliest hockey seen in years throughout the 2000s, but it seemed the franchise had turned the corner with a more offensive-minded head coach and some new weapons at forward. Well, the team has reverted right back to their old ways, stifling opposing offenses with tight-checking and strong goaltending. The Wild have held opponents to just 1.4 goals per game over their last seven contests. With the team having won six of those seven games, even stealing a point with their lone loss in that span having gone to a shootout, expect the team to continue to employ this strategy. Meanwhile, the Canadiens have had trouble scoring the puck, particularly on the road, scoring only 1.3 goals per game in their last three road games. They haven |

The Washington Wizards host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. Washington is coming off a 103-96 loss to Cleveland, while Minnesota beat Boston their last time out, 106-88. The Timberwolves have quietly been one of the better offenses, and over bets, in basketball this season. The team has scored a whopping 113.2 points per game over their last six contests, all while allowing 101.2 points per game. Head coach Rick Adelman finally has the horses to run his offense, with point guards Ricky Rubio and J.J. Barea seemingly putting on a show night in and night out. Meanwhile, forward Kevin Love is having an MVP caliber season, filling the basket at a rate of 26.8 points per night. The over is 6-2 in Minnesota |

11-18-13 | Denver Nuggets v. Oklahoma City Thunder OVER 210 | 113-115 | Win | 100 | 10 h 48 m | Show
Oklahoma City & Denver over 210
The Oklahoma City Thunder host the Denver Nuggets on Monday night. Oklahoma City is coming off a 92-79 win over Milwaukee, while Denver fell to Houston in their last game, 122-111. Denver has been an over machine of late, playing over the total in five of their last six contests, hitting the century mark in each of those games. As quick and efficient as they are on offense, the team leaves a lot to be desired at the defensive end, which spells trouble against a good Oklahoma City offense. The Nuggets have surrendered 117.5 points per game over their last two games, and with Oklahoma having scored better than 100 points in each of their three home games this season, another big scoring night appears to be in order. The over is 4-0 in Denver's last four games versus teams with a winning percentage above .600. In two meetings with a posted total of 210 or lower last season, the teams played over the total each time. In four total meetings last season, the teams played to an average of 219.8 combined points per game. The over is 4-1 in Oklahoma City's last five games. The over is 15-6-1 in Denver's last 22 road games. Take the OVER. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Oklahoma City & Denver over 210 |

11-18-13 | Anaheim Ducks v. Pittsburgh Penguins UNDER 5.5 | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 20 h 9 m | Show
Pittsburgh & Anaheim under 5.5
The Pittsburgh Penguins host the Anaheim Ducks on Monday night. Pittsburgh is coming off a 4-1 loss to New Jersey, while Anaheim dropped their last game to Carolina in a shootout, 3-2. We cashed a ticket on the under in Pittsburgh's game against Nashville on Friday, and we'll go right back to that well in this one as the Penguins continue to struggle scoring the puck. The Penguins have plenty of big names on the roster and are known for scoring a lot of goals, which is why we're able to get in at a very reasonable total in this one despite the team's recent struggles. The Penguins have been held to just one goal in four of their last five games, and their big dogs are largely to blame. The under is 4-0 in Pittsburgh's last four games following a game in which they scored two goals or fewer. Top center Sidney Crosby has been limited to just one goal in his last 10 games, while Evgeni Malkin has gone 13 games without a goal, the longest such streak of his career. The under is 16-5 in Anaheim's last 21 games played on two days rest, and 15-6-2 in Anaheim's last 23 games against Eastern Conference opponents. Take the UNDER. LA Lakers +2.5
The Los Angeles Lakers host the Detroit Pistons on Sunday. The Lakers are coming off an 89-86 loss to Memphis, while Detroit beat Sacramento their last time out, 97-90. The scheduling of this game sets up very favorably for the Lakers in this one, and with the public riding along with the Pistons in this one, we'll gladly get behind a Los Angeles team that is grossly undervalued. The Pistons play this game at the end of a four-game West Coast road swing, usually the toughest game to get up for with a flight home looming. That likely means that an already struggling Pistons team could have trouble getting up for this game. The Pistons have lost four of their last five games, going 1-4 ATS in those contests. Conversely, the Lakers will be ready to leave everything they have on the floor, as they'll be off until Nov. 22 after this contest. The Lakers have been good at home this season, but tough games against San Antonio, a good Minnesota team, and the always underrated Memphis Grizzlies have kept Los Angeles's home record from being squeaky clean, allowing us to get in at a fair price. The Lakers are 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings between these teams. Take the Los Angeles Lakers. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Los Angeles Lakers +2.5 |

Washington ML
The Washington Capitals host the St. Louis Blues in an early start on Sunday. The Capitals are coming off a 4-3 overtime win at Detroit, while St. Louis beat Carolina on Saturday night, 4-2. We are getting tremendous value on a good Capitals team in this one, as the team has been downright dominant at home this season, winning each of their last five home contests. They've also been scoring goals in bunches at the Verizon center, scoring 4.0 goals per game at home in the month of November. Going even further back, the Capitals have won seven of 10 home games on the season, and 22 of their last 30 home games. The team is also 6-2 in their last eight games overall, and simply have no business being listed as a home underdog. Coming to down is a very good Blues squad, but one that is playing on the second night of a back-to-back, having to travel to Washington overnight, and now face an early start to the game. Chargers ML
The San Diego Chargers came up short last week against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. Still the Chargers showed a lot of fight late in that game and that was very encouraging regarding their prospects moving forward. The Chargers have a much more favorable matchup in Miami this weekend. Miami has tons of problems both on the field and off the field. The Dolphins already had the worst offensive line in the NFL and that was before the recent scandal between Richie Incognito and Johnathan Martin. Miami has allowed more sacks than any other team in the NFL. That number will likely get even uglier as the season moves along. Phillip Rivers is playing much better in 2013. Last year Rivers turned the ball over constantly and really hurt his team. This season Rivers is completing more than 70% of his passes on the road. The Chargers have several solid pass catchers, and Rivers should have success against a mediocre Dolphins secondary. Miami started the season well but the wheels have completely fallen off over the last few weeks. The Dolphins likely overachieved early in the season, and with their poor team chemistry, I don |

We love the angle of betting against the Cardinal following their dispatching of the Ducks last week. Stanford players have had more than a week to be big shots on campus and we'd bet that they're extremely flat in this contest. That doesn't bode well against a much improved Trojans squad. A 62-28 beatdown of Cal last weekend was the team's third straight win and head coach Ed Orgerons's fourth win in five tries since taking over for Lane Kiffin. The recent run has the Trojans at 7-3 overall and gives the team an extra boost as they look to get back into the Top 25. An important factor here is that Stanford is the FAVORITE in this game. Four and a half points is a lot of points when you consider that USC surrenders just 19.6 points per game. The Trojans are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 conference games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. Take USC. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on USC Trojans +4.5 |

Orlando +2.5
The Orlando Magic host the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday evening. The Mavs are coming off of a 110-104 loss in Miami on Friday night while the Magic took down Milwaukee 94-91 on Wednesday. Dallas is undefeated at home but they've been brutal on the road this season, beginning the year just 1-4 on the road. The Mavs have committed 19.2 turnovers per game away from home this season. With the Mavericks having played on Friday night, we'd expect to see some more sloppy play in Saturday's game. Dallas has allowed four of their five road opponents to shoot at least 46 percent from the field. On the other side of things, Orlando has been very strong at home to open the season. The Magic are 4-1 at home this season and have been getting strong contributions from SG Aaron Afflalo. Afflalo has connected on 52 percent of his three-pointers this season. The Magic are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 against Western Conference opponents. The underdog is 12-5 ATS in the last 17 meetings between these two teams. Take Orlando. Toronto & Buffalo under 5
The Toronto Maple Leafs play host to the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday night. The Sabres defeated the Leafs 3-1 on Friday evening in Ted Nolan's first game behind the Buffalo bench. Toronto has been decimated by injuries in recent weeks. With Tyler Bozak, Nazem Kadri, and Dave Bolland all out of tonight's game, the Leafs are left with an extremely poor crop of centermen on their roster. Jay McClement and Trevor Smith are centering the Leafs' second and third lines despite the fact that they're both fourth line players. The Leafs have managed just four regulation goals in their last five games. On the other side of things, it's no secret that the Sabres can't score goals either. Buffalo is dead last in the league, averaging a measly 1.71 goals per game. Things won't get any easier as the Sabres will be shooting at James Reimer tonight, who sports a solid .942 save percentage. The under is 5-0 in the Sabres' last 5 games following a win. The under is 5-0 in the Leafs' last 5 overall. Take the UNDER. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Toronto & Buffalo under 5 |

Houston +16
The Houston Cougars battle the 19th-ranked Louisville Cardinals in an AAC bout at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. Houston may have lost to UCF last week but that's not deterring us from taking them this week. The Cougars are a vastly improved squad and oddsmakers have been slow to catch on. Rookie quarterback John O'Korn has been stellar this season, completing 63.1 percent of his passes with an outstanding 23:6 touchdown to interception ratio. Louisville's offense can score points but Houston will be able to keep up here. Houston's offense has scored an average of 38.1 points per game this season, ranking 21st in the NCAA. The Cougars' scoring ability is the reason that they continuosly cash in week in and week out, putting together an 8-1 ATS record this year. On the other side of things, Louisville hasn't been able to run up margins this season. The Cardinals last three contests have resulted in a 24-10 win over 5-3 Rutgers, a 34-3 victory over 2-6 South Florida, and a 31-10 win over 0-8 Connecticut. The Cardinals lost a spring in their step when they fell to UCF a month ago. Subsequently, Louisville is just 1-4 ATS over their last five games overall. Louisville is 1-5 ATS over their last six games following a win over more than 20 points. Take Houston at our top rating. Good Luck, Razor Ray 10* Play on Houston Cougars +16 |

The Duke Blue Devils host the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday in Week 12 of the college football season. Duke is coming off a 38-20 win over North Carolina State, while Miami fell to Virginia Tech in their last game, 42-24. The Hurricanes are incredibly beat up right now, and it's just hard to picture the Hurricanes getting back to the form that we saw from the team earlier in the year with all the injuries that they are dealing with right now. The Hurricanes have lost two games in a row, surrendering better than 40 points each time. That's going to be trouble against a Duke team that has scored an average of 41.5 points per game over their last four home contests. The Blue Devils have won five straight overall and will be looking to carry that momentum into Saturday when they take on a Miami team that has won nine in a row in the series. In last year's meeting, the Blue Devils put up 45 points on the Hurricanes. The Blue Devils are 4-0 ATS in their last four games versus ACC opponents. Phoenix +1
The Phoenix Suns host the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night. Phoenix is coming off a 90-89 loss to Portland, while Brooklyn fell to Sacramento in their last game, 107-86. The Suns front office's plans to tank this season haven't been a reality. The team is 5-3 on the year, with a 4-0 record at home. Conversely, the Nets front office's attempt to build a contender appear to have been a triumphant failure. The players on the roster simply don't mesh with one another, with too many players on the roster being used to handling the ball. Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett each spent the majority of their career being "the guy" for an NBA team, and even Brook Lopez had the offense running through him at Stanford. The players look good on paper, but as a team they simply haven't meshed. As for Phoenix, they've been the NBA's best bet this season, posting a 7-0-1 ATS mark through their first eight games. The team has been much better at the defensive end this year, surrendering more than six points per game fewer than they did a year ago. The home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings between these teams. Take Phoenix. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Phoenix Suns +1 |

Pittsburgh & Nashville under 5.5
The Pittsburgh Penguins host the Nashville Predators on Friday night. Pittsburgh is coming off a 2-1 loss to Philadelphia, while Nashville dropped their last game to the Islanders, 3-1. The Penguins bring plenty of name value to the ice in this one, but the reality is their top offensive weapons haven't been able to generate much at that end of the ice of late. The team has played back-to-back unders and has scored only three goals in their last three games. The under is 6-2 in Pittsburgh's last eight games overall. Nashville has actually had even more trouble scoring the puck, scoring only once in their last three games. The Predators know they'll have to slow things down and tighten up defensively if they have any chance of skating with the Penguins. The team simply doesn't have much in the way of offensive weapons, and with their goaltending situation up in the air, they'll need all hands on deck at that end of the ice. Expect Nashville to put all of their focus on stifling Sidney Crosby and Pittsburgh's other offensive weapons. The under is 19-7-1 in Nashville's last 27 games played with two or more days of rest. The Calgary Flames host the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday. Calgary is coming off a 4-2 loss to Colorado, while San Jose fell to Winnipeg in their last outing, 5-4 in a shootout. We cashed a ticket on the over in the first meeting between these teams, with the game producing nine goals. We'll go right back to that well in this one with the teams in the type of form that leads us to expect another over. Neither side has had much luck keeping opponents from scoring of late. San Jose has allowed 4.2 goals per game over their last five games. The over is 6-1 in San Jose's last seven games versus Western Conference opponents. During that span the team has been able to do a pretty good job of filling the net themselves, scoring 3.0 goals per game. The over is 5-1 in San Jose's last six games. As for Calgary, they've been an over machine with their combination of terrible goaltending and defensive play, and their young forwards who are always looking to score. The team has allowed 3.6 goals per game over their last nine contests. The over is 7-2 in Calgary's last nine games. Take the OVER. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Calgary & San Jose over 5.5 |

Montreal & Tampa Bay under 5.5
The Montreal Canadiens host the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday. We've been very active in taking the under when the Tampa Bay Lightning take to the road, and we'll do so again here in another favorable spot. The Lightning like to shut things down when they play on the road, slowing things down to a crawl. Their trapping style is very conducive to unders, and that's exactly what we expect here. The under is 8-1 in Tampa Bay's last nine road games. While injuries in sports are never fun, the Lightning lost Steven Stamkos in their last game, the team's top scoring option and one of the best scoring threats in hockey. With Stamkos gone, the Lightning will be even more encouraged to keep opponents from scoring, knowing they won't be able to score much themselves. Montreal isn't opposed to tight-checking hockey other, with the under cashing in when they take the ice on a regular basis. The under is 5-0 in Montreal's last five games played on one day of rest. The under is 3-1-1 in Montreal's last five home games, and 12-4-1 in their last 17 games overall. Take the UNDER. Good Luck, Razor Ray 9* Play on Montreal & Tampa Bay under 5.5 |

The New York Islanders host the Nashville Predators on Tuesday. New York is coming off a 4-2 loss to Montreal, while Nashville dropped their last game to New Jersey, 5-0. Nashville has been handed 5-0 defeats in each of its last two games, falling at Winnipeg on Friday and in New Jersey two days later. While it isn't inspiring that Nashville has been outscored 10-0 in their last two games, it sets up a great bounce back opportunity. Teams tend to bounce back coming off of back-to-back blowouts and we expect a spirited effort from the Preds tonight. The Predators have also dominated the Islanders in recent years. Nashville is 8-0-1 over the last nine meetings, going 2-0-1 at Nassau Coliseum. The Predsneeded just 14 saves from Pekka Rinne in a 3-2 victory over New York on October 12th. The Islanders are opening a three-game homestand after being outscored 16-6 on a winless road trip. We expect New York to be flat in their first game back home. Utah & Denver over 196.5
The Utah Jazz host the Denver Nuggets on Monday night. Utah is coming off a 115-91 loss to Toronto, while Denver dropped their last game to Phoenix, 114-103. We were very active in backing the over in Nuggets games last season, and we'll go right back to that well in a good situation in this one. Neither side in this game has done a good job in their defensive end this season. Factor in the pace that each side likes to play, and that's a recipe for an over. Utah gave up 115 points to an average Toronto team in their last game. On the flip side, Denver has surrendered 109.0 points per game over their last four games. Many think of Denver as a team that scores at home, but they get their fair share of points on the road as well, while playing inferior defense. The over is 6-2 in Denver's last eight road games. Denver hasn't had any trouble scoring against Utah in in previous matchups, eclipsing 100 points in each of the last five meetings between the teams. The over is 3-0-1 in the last four meetings between these teams in Utah. Take the OVER. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Utah & Denver over 196.5 |

The Carolina Panthers are 5-3 and they enter this game with a ton of momentum. While most people want to talk about Cam Newton and the offense, it is the Panthers defense that has really led the way. Detroit ML
The Detroit Red Wings host the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday evening. Detroit suffered a 4-3 OT loss to Dallas on Thursday while the Lightning enter on a three-game win streak, coming off of a 4-2 victory over Edmonton. Tampa Bay has enjoyed a strong 11-4 start to the season but we see a regression coming very soon. The Lightning have been outshot in 5 of their last 7 games but managed to pull out victories in six of those games. In the past, we've benefited by betting against teams with big "luck factors" and we'll do so again tonight. Detroit has struggled on home ice in recent weeks but they've been one of the most dominant home teams in the NHL in recent years. This issue will soon correct itself. Detroit has lost four in a row at home and haven't lost five in a row at Joe Louis Arena since 1986! Detroit, however, has dominated the Lightning franchise, posting a 24-5-1 record in the last 30 games with a 13-1-0 home mark. The Lightning have lost six in a row overall in the series and haven't beaten the Wings since January of 2003. A pair of Detroit's snipers have also owned Tampa Bay. Daniel Alfredsson has 71 points in 59 career matchups with Tampa Bay, including 11 points in the last seven games. Pavel Datsyuk has 13 points in seven games against the Lightning. The Lightning are 23-51 in their last 74 road games and 0-8-1 in the last 9 meetings in Detroit. Take Detroit. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Detroit Red Wings -125 |

Carolina & Minnesota under 5
The Carolina Hurricanes host the Minnesota Wild on Saturday night. The Wild are coming off of a 3-2 SO loss in Washington while the Hurricanes beat the Islanders 1-0 on Thursday night. These are two teams that have trouble scoring and play extremely solid defense. Those are obviously the most important factors in playing an under. The Wild have particularly struggled to score on the road. In seven games away from home this season, the Wild have managed just 14 goals--or 2.0 goals per game. The under is 5-1-1 in Minnesota's road affairs. Minnesota will again find it difficult to score on Saturday as they take on one of the most improved defensive teams in hockey. Ever since starting goaltender Cam Ward went down with an injury, the Canes have place an increased emphasis on defense. Carolina has surrendered less than 30 shots in six of their last nine games. Justin Peters has taken over between the pipes for Carolina and he's performed admirably. Peters boasts a 2.61 GAA and has allowed only one goal in his past two starts. While Carolina's defensively play has been solid, their offensive play has not. The Canes are averaging a measly 1.88 goals per game this season. Captain Eric Staal has just one assist during a six-game stretch and Alexander Semin has no points in four games this month. The UNDER is 8-1 in Carolina's nine home games this season. Texas -6
The West Virginia Mountaineers host the Texas Longhorns on Saturday in Week 11 of the college football season. West Virginia is coming off a 30-27 win over TCU, while Texas beat Kansas in last week, 35-13. Off the field issues have magnified the perceived issues at Texas this season, but in reality, the team has only two losses on the season against a Missouri team that we now know is better than what we thought at the time, and an always tough BYU squad. The Longhorns have really gotten their act together since those two games, winning five games in a row, including big wins over Oklahoma and TCU in recent weeks. The Longhorns are 5-2 ATS in their last seven road game versus teams with a losing home record. As for West Virginia, their season has been a disappointment, largely because of their inability to find a replacement for Geno Smith at quarterback, but also because their defense has been absolutely lousy. In their last four losses, the team has allowed 45.5 points per game. The Mountaineers are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games. Take Texas. Good Luck, Razor Ray 9* Play on Texas Longhorns -6 |

Miami is coming off a 41-14 loss to Florida State, while Virginia Tech fell to Boston College in their last game, 34-27. While they may have lost back to back games, the Hokies have played very well in recent weeks, with the lone exception being a hiccup against Duke. Virginia Tech plays good, sound football and forces their opponents to make mistakes, a recipe that could yield success against a banged up Miami squad. Turnovers have plagued Virginia Tech in the last two weeks, but you can be sure that Frank Beamer has done what he needs to so that issue will be resolved come Saturday. Winnipeg & Nashville over 5
The Winnipeg Jets host the Nashville Predators on Friday. Winnipeg is coming off a 4-1 loss to Chicago, while Nashville beat Colorado in their last contest, 6-4. Oddsmakers and bettors have been slow to react to the news out of Nashville that Pekka Rinne is hurt and out for a while. The team has undergone a complete transformation since then, and have become one of the better over bets in hockey. In Nashville's last four games, the team's games have generated no fewer than seven goals, with an average of score of 3.8-4.5 over those four contests. Head coach Barry Trotz has done a great job of implementing a slow-down strategy with one of the top goalies in the world between the pipes for the Preds, but now that Rinne is down, Trotz has gotten his team to do a great job of adjusting to this new style of play, knowing that they'll need to score goals. Winnipeg meanwhile receives some of the worst goaltending in the NHL night in and night out, but can also score goals in bunches, which makes us very confident in backing this play. The Orlando Magic host the Boston Celtics on Friday night. Orlando is coming off a 98-90 win over the Clippers, while Boston beat Utah in their last contest, 97-87. There is certainly some talent on the Magic roster, but they just have no business giving this many points away against any opponent. The Magic have been the recipients of some good fortune, holding each of their last three opponents under 40 percent shooting, an apparition that will surely come to an end in short order. Boston also matches up well with Orlando, as they currently have the best three-point defense in basketball, limiting opponents to just 27.1 percent shooting from beyond the arc. The Celtics are 6-0 ATS in their last six games against Southeast Division opponents. Boston won their last game, their first win under new head coach Brad Stevens, and will surely look to keep that momentum going against a lowly Orlando team that they have dominated in recent years. The Celtics are 6-1-1 in the last eight meetings between these teams, and 7-2 in their last nine trips to Orlando. The road team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings between these teams. Take Boston. 11-07-13 | Oklahoma +15 v. Baylor | 12-41 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 48 m | Show
Oklahoma +15
The Baylor Bears are 7-0 overall and 6-1 ATS so far this year. It might seem strange to want to go against them, but after taking a close look at their schedule there are definitely reasons to back Oklahoma here. Baylor is 7-0, but who is their best win of the year over? I would say their best win to this point is a win at Kansas State (who is just 4-4). Kansas State played Baylor very tough in that game, and the Bears failed to cover the number. Baylor has beaten up on some poor competition so far this year. The competition gets a lot tougher here as the Bears take on Oklahoma. The Sooners have been a top team in the Big 12 for a very long time, and they aren |

11-05-13 | Buffalo Sabres v. San Jose Sharks UNDER 5.5 | 5-4 | Loss | -138 | 28 h 41 m | Show
San Jose & Buffalo under 5.5
The San Jose Sharks host the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday. Buffalo is coming off a 3-2 shootout loss to Phoenix, while Buffalo dropped their last game to Anaheim, 6-3. Buffalo's last game was high-scoring, but don't let that fool you as to their current style of play - the team played under the total in three of their previous four games. The Sabres have had a ton of trouble scoring this season with a lot of talent having left town in recent years. The Sabres have scored less than two goals per game over their last eight contests, and could be in for a tough night in San Jose. The under is 7-1 in Buffalo's last eight road games. The Sharks will get back veteran defenseman Dan Boyle for this contest to be the anchor of the defense. The Sabres will need to keep the Sharks from scoring if they hope to compete, and may get that. The last time they played in San Jose, goaltender Ryan Miller recorded a 39-save shutout. The under is 9-2 in San Jose's last 11 games versus Eastern Conference opponents, and 6-2-1 in their last nine home games. Take the UNDER. 11-05-13 | San Antonio Spurs v. Denver Nuggets +4 | 102-94 | Loss | -105 | 26 h 6 m | Show
Denver +4
The Denver Nuggets host the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday. Denver is coming off a 113-98 loss to Portland, while San Antonio fell to Portland as well in their last game, 115-105. We were very active in backing the Nuggets at home last season with tremendous results, and we'll go right back to that well for this contest. The Nuggets are 0-3 to start the year, but they've actually played quite well in those games. A 36 percent shooting night was the only thing that kept them from beating Portland in their home opener. Now they'll look to make a statement against a Spurs team that could be looking ahead. The Spurs close out a three-game road trip on this night with a home contest scheduled for Wednesday, with another home contest on Friday, so they could hardly be blamed for looking ahead. Home court has been very important in this series, with each side defending their home court a year ago, so getting points with the Nuggets at home in this one is more than enought to get us on board. The Nuggets are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings between these teams. Take Denver. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Denver Nuggets +4 |

11-04-13 | Detroit Red Wings -125 v. Winnipeg Jets | 2-4 | Loss | -125 | 24 h 21 m | Show
Detroit ML
The Winnipeg Jets host the Detroit Red Wings on Monday night. It's Winnipeg that gets the advantage of playing at home, but it's Detroit that is correctly installed as the favorite in this one. The Red Wings have been total road warriors this season. The club is 6-2 on the road this season. They've been even better on the road of late. The team is concluding a three-day western road trip on this night, having swept the first three legal of the trip. The monotony of an 82 game season can drain players, so creating small milestones like sweeping a four game road trip can really keep things interesting for the players. As for Winnipeg, they've struggled mightily this season, with their head coach even suggesting he would bench the entire team if he could. The Jets are just 3-6 in their nine home games this season, and 1-6 in their last seven games overall. The Red Wings are 10-4 in the last 14 meetings between these teams. Take Detroit. 11-04-13 | Golden State Warriors v. Philadelphia 76ers UNDER 211 | 110-90 | Win | 100 | 23 h 15 m | Show
Philadelphia & Golden State under 211
The Philadelphia 76ers play host to the Golden State Warriors on Monday night. The 76ers are coming off of a 107-104 victory over the Bulls while Golden State is fresh off of a 98-87 win over Sacramento. The 76ers have played three straight high scoring affairs to start the season but we think that those high scoring games are an aberration. Philadelphia has shot over 51% from the field over their first three games; a number that will surely decrease in recent weeks. Evan Turner has a career .430 FG%; he's shooting .509 from the field this year. Spencer Hawes has a career .469 FG%; he's shooting a ridiculous .649 this season. And the list goes on and on. Golden State is in a very similar position as well. They've taken less than 77 attempts from the field in two games this year which indicates that they're not getting a lot of possessions. Expect a decrease in scoring from the Warriors as well. The last four meetings between these two teams had totals of 191, 188.5, 199.5, and 197.5. Not only is this total severely inflated; it's inflated by more than 10 points. The under is 7-1 in the Warriors' last 8 games playing on 1 days rest. The under is 18-7-1 in 76ers' last 26 games playing on 1 days rest. Take the under. Good Luck, Razor Ray 9* Play on Philadelphia & Golden State under 211 |

11-03-13 | Boston Celtics +9.5 v. Detroit Pistons | 77-87 | Loss | -105 | 21 h 36 m | Show
Boston +9.5
The Detroit Pistons play host the Boston Celtics on Sunday evening. The Pistons are coming off of 111-108 overtime loss to Memphis on Friday, while the Celtics are coming off of a 105-98 loss to Milwaukee. We're fully aware that these are two teams going in opposite directions but we're ready to jump on the Celtics at an inflated number. Brandon Jennings has a chance to make his season debut for Detroit tonight and subsequently we've gained a couple of points of line value. Even if Jennings does suit up, he'll likely be eased into action after recovering from a hairline fracture in his jaw. We wouldn't expect him to have a major impact on this contest. Detroit is coming off of a hard fought overtime loss to the Grizzlies. It will be easy for them to overlook the lowly Celtics in this spot after that deflating loss. Boston is by no means a good basketball team but the first few games have shown us that they're willing to play hard under head coach Brad Stevens. The Celtics have held (and blown) leads against the Raptors and Bucks so far this season but their willingness to battle leads us to believe that they're the right side here. The Celtics are 33-15 ATS in their last 48 Sunday games. The underdog is 5-0 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these two teams. Take Boston. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Boston Celtics +9.5 |

11-03-13 | Baltimore Ravens -1 v. Cleveland Browns | 18-24 | Loss | -123 | 67 h 4 m | Show
Baltimore -1
The Cleveland Browns play host the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday afternoon. The Ravens had their bye week last week while the Browns fell just short against the undefeated Chiefs. We won't read too much into Cleveland's game last week. For starters, the Chiefs are vastly overrated, and additionally, we don't believe Jason Campbell can duplicate his success from that game. Campbell has been passed around the league for a reason; he's nothing more than a backup. Going up against a tough Ravens' defense with an extra week to prepare will be a daunting task. The Browns have also given the Ravens some bulletin board material this week as cornerback Joe Haden said that this Ravens' team isn't the same Ravens of old. John Harbaugh is one of the best motivational coaches in the NFL and he'll surely use that statement to his team's advantage. Ray Rice has struggled mightily this season but he's been enduring some nagging leg and hip injuries. Rice will have had a full two weeks to recover and should be ready to go against a Browns' defense that he's consistently exploited in the past. The Ravens are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Cleveland. Take Baltimore. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Baltimore Ravens -1 |

Tennessee -1
The St. Louis Rams play host to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday afternoon. St. Louis is coming off of a heartbreaking loss to Seattle on Monday Night Football while the Titans are coming off of a bye week. The Rams have to be demoralized after losing to Seattle on Monday. That game was the Rams' Super Bowl and they fell one yard short of pulling out the victory against one of the league's best teams. It's hard to imagine them getting up for this game, especially on a short week. St. Louis will once again turn to Kellen Clemens at quarterback. Clemens tossed two interceptions against Seattle last week and that number is flattering because a couple of other ducks were dropped by Seahawks' defenders. Tennessee has a pretty good defense that should be able to force Clemens into some turnovers again this week. Meanwhile, the Titans come in to this game refreshed following their bye week. Jake Locker will have had an extra week to recover from his hip injury and shouldn't have much of an issue carving up a susceptible Rams' secondary. The Titans have lost three straight games but two of those three games were with backup Ryan Fitzpatrick at the helm. The other game was against the 49ers so we'll give Tennessee a pass for that loss. The Titans are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games against a team with a losing record. The Rams are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games after allowing less than 250 total yards in their previous game. Take Tennessee. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Tennessee Titans -1 |

11-03-13 | New Orleans Saints v. NY Jets +7 | 20-26 | Win | 100 | 18 h 44 m | Show
NY Jets +7
The New York Jets host the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon. The Jets are coming off of an embarrassing loss to the Bengals while the Saints easily disposed of the Bills at home. This posted spread is a HUGE OVERREACTION to last week's games. The Jets are nowhere near as bad as they looked while the Saints play this game away from home, where they're much worse than they are in the friendly confines of the Superdome. New Orleans has played three road games this season. They nearly lost to the winless Bucs in one of those games and fell to the Patriots in another one of those games---the very same Patriots that the Jets beat two weeks ago. The Saints are dead last in the league in terms of defensive yards per carry. New York will be able to run the ball successfully and that will allow for Geno Smith to work out of manageable situations this week. Drew Brees' home/road splits also show us that New Orlenas isn't a well oiled machine on the road. Brees has 14 touchdowns and just two interceptions at home, but only 5 touchdowns to three interceptions on the road. The Jets are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game. Take New York. Good Luck, Razor Ray 9* Play on New York Jets +7 |

New Jersey ML
The New Jersey Devils host the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday night. We cashed a ticket on New Jersey's last game and will go right back to that well in this one. The public has the Devils all wrong after a slow start, and we're happy to continue riding with them as they continue to be mispriced. Another edge comes with a struggling Philadelphia team playing on the second night of a back-to-back. A situation in which they haven't won a game yet this season. The Flyers have been a major disappointment and recently sent a key piece away in a trade, Max Talbot, for a checking line plodder, in hopes of waking the team up, but don't expect that to have a major impact as the Flyers are just spinning their wheels right now. The Devils meanwhile have won two in row now and look to continue their strong play. The team has scored five power play goals in their last 12 situations with the man advantage. That's not where the team makes its money though, as they play a tight-checking defensive style that frazzles opponents. The home team is 47-22 in the last 69 meetings between these teams. 11-02-13 | Michigan v. Michigan State -4.5 | 6-29 | Win | 100 | 41 h 17 m | Show
Michigan State -4.5
The Michigan State Spartans host the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday in Week 10 of the college football season. Michigan State is coming off a 42-3 win over Illinois, while Michigan beat Indiana 63-47 in Week 8. The Wolverines have already been exposed this season, getting knocked out of the AP Top 25 last week after scares against lesser teams and a loss to Penn State. This week they get a very tough Michigan State team that's been trouble for them in recent years, with the Spartans winning four of the last five meetings. The Spartans have been extremely impressive this season, even in games where their offense doesn't show up, because their defense has been spectacular. The Spartans have limited opponents to just 12.3 points per game, the third best mark in the nation, and they have limited their last two opponents to just three points combined. The unit is also tops in the FBS in total defense, allowing just 215.5 yards per game, which will surely pose trouble for a Michigan offense that's had trouble moving the ball at times this season. The Wolverines are 7-20-1 ATS in their last 28 road games. The Spartans are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings between these teams. Take Michigan State. 11-02-13 | Mississippi State v. South Carolina -11.5 | 16-34 | Win | 100 | 38 h 5 m | Show
South Carolina -11.5
South Carolina plays host to Mississippi State in a big SEC battle on Saturday afternoon. The Gamecocks are coming off of an epic come from behind victory over Missouri, while the Bulldogs have put together two straight wins. Mississippi State was less than impressive in their victory over Kentucky last week. The Wildcats may not have been able to expose their flaws, but the Gamecocks surely will be able to. The Bulldogs' defense is vastly overrated. They have absolutely no pass rush whatsoevr and they boast one of the worst red zone defenses in the entire nation. South Carolina has one of the most balanced offenses in the nation; compiling 205.9 yard per game on the ground and 269.2 yards per game through the air. We expect the Gamecocks to move the ball with ease in this contest. On the other side of things, Mississippi State is averaging 30.1 points per game and 456 yards per game this season but those numbers are misleading. Routs of Alcorn State and Troy have inflated those numbers significantly. The Bulldogs have been held to less than thirty points in all but two of their games this season. We don't think the Bulldogs have what it takes to keep pace in this contest. The Gamecocks are 9-4 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. The Bulldogs are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 conference games and 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games overall. Take South Carolina. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on South Carolina Gamecocks -11.5 |

The Air Force Falcons host the Army Black Knights on Saturday in Week 10 of the college football season. Air Force is coming off a 45-10 loss to Notre Dame, while Army lost their last game to Temple, 33-14. These teams may draw a lot of similarities in people's minds because they're both service academies and they both lean heavily on the run, but these squads are playing at completely different levels this season. Both teams picked up an easy win in their opener against an FCS opponents, but Army has picked up two wins since then, while Air Force has gone 0-7, covering the spread only twice in those games. Even still, the team finds itself in the pick'em range against an improving Army team on Saturday. Army is 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a loss. The Black Knights have continued to churn out yards on the ground with ease this season - their 340.1 rushing yards per game is tops in the FBS, so expect them to pick up yards with ease as they run past their fellow service academy. The Falcons are 7-20 ATS in their last 27 home games, and 2-6 ATS overall this season. The road team is 10-3 ATS in the last 13 meetings between these teams. Take Army. Oregon State plays host to USC in a Pac-12 tilt on Friday night in Corvallis. The Beavers dropped a 20-12 slugfest to Stanford last week while USC disposed of Utah, 19-3. Despite their loss last week, the Beavers still have their sights set on the Pac-12 conference crown. Oregon State won't be deflated following their loss to Stanford. USC will absolutely hate making this trip as they were upset in their last three road games at Oregon State. In 2010, USC lost by 29 points as a 3-point favorite. In 2008, the Trojans lost as a 25-point favorite when they were ranked #1 in the country. In 2006, USC blew a lead as a 10-point favorite and lost by two. This is a HOUSE OF HORRORS for the Trojans! Dallas ML
The Dallas Stars host the Colorado Avalanche on Friday night. Dallas is coming off a 2-1 loss to Montreal, while Colorado beat Winnipeg their last time out, 3-2. The Colorado Avalanche have been on a stellar run to start their year, but that run has to come to an end sometime for a team that finished in the cellar of the NHL's Western Conference a year ago, and takes to the ice with a roster that remains largely intact. No better place for that downhill trek to begin than in Dallas, a place where they've won just 4 of their last 13 trips. The home team is 17-8 in the last 25 meetings between these teams. The Avalanche also have an extended break heading into this contest, another factor that will lead to decreased momentum for the team. The Avalanche are 7-18 in their last 25 games played on three or more days rest. As for the Stars, they're 3-1-1 at home this season, and have already played the role of spoiler in their own barn, handing the Sharks their first loss of the season. Don't let Minnesota's last game fool you - they lost to the best team in the NHL, and were coming into that contest on a three-game winning streak. The Wild are in good form right now, and we're happy to get behind them at a favorable price against an overrated Montreal team. The Habs are 4-1 on the road, but their wins have come against teams that are struggling, or just downright bad. The Canucks and Rangers are both adjusting to new coaches, while the Oilers and Jets are both lousy teams at the moment. The Wild are also in a great bounce back spot coming off their blowout loss. The team is full of a ton of veterans that won't take that loss lightly. Expect a strong effort from those veteran players as they look to get back into the win column. Miami +3
The Miami Dolphins host the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night in Week 9 of the NFL season. Miami is coming off a 27-17 loss to New England, while Cincinnati beat up on the New York Jets their last time out, 49-8. Cincinnati's throttling of the Jets had more to do with the Jets' inability to compete in a tough road environment than with anything the Bengals did themselves. Without their home crowd lending support, things will be a lot tougher for Cincinnati, who has had struggles of their own on the road, most recently struggling to close out a beat up Buffalo team. Part of the problem has been Andy Dalton's willingness to hand the ball over to the other team, and on Thursday night, an underrated Miami stop unit will happily take advantage of those opportunities. As for the Dolphins, they seem to be caught in a tailspin at first glance, but a closer look shows that they've been highly competitive in recent games, leading New England at the half, and falling to Buffalo and Baltimore by a combined 5 points. Don't be surprised if the Dolphins turn things around and win this game outright against a Cincinnati team that has to travel on a short week. The Troy Trojans host the ULM Warhawks in Sun Belt action on Thursday evening. Troy has won three straight games, capped by a 32-26 victory over Western Kentucky last weekend. ULM took down Georgia State 38-10 at home last Saturday. This is as much a play against Troy as it is a play on ULM. The Trojans have notoriously been an awful home favorite, and are just 6-14 ATS in their last 20 games in that role. We're fully aware of the struggles that ULM has had on offense this season. The Warhawks average just 19.9 points per game and 358.1 yards per game. With that being said, they should still be able to move the ball against an awful Troy defense that's ranked 109th in the nation. ULM enters this game with a ton of confidence and they were victorious in their last game at Troy, beating down the Trojans 38-10 in 2011. The Warhawks are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a SU win of more than 20 points and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 road games. Houston -17.5
Houston takes on South Florida in AAC action on Thursday night. Houston is coming off of a beatdown of Rutgers while USF was bulldozed by Louisville, 34-3. With Houston coming off of a blowout win and USF coming off of a blowout loss, we expected the books to release an inflated line. In our opinion, this line is nowhere near big enough. The Bulls have almost no offense to speak of whatsoever. They're ranked #123 in the nation in total offense, averaging a measly 258 yards per game. To make matters worse for a poor USF squad, they're now stuck traveling on a short week. USF has managed just 14 points per game in October which won't bode well against a high-powered Houston offense. Houston is the only team in the country to remain unbeaten against the spread at 7-0. They're averaging over 300 passing yards per game and match up well against a South Florida defense that's been carved up by other good offenses this season. The Bulls are 0-9 ATS in their last 9 Thursday games. The Bulls are 7-20-1 ATS in their last 28 games overall and 6-17-1 ATS in their last 24 games following a SU loss of more than 20 points. Pittsburgh & Boston under 5.5
The Pittsburgh Penguins host the Boston Bruins on Wednesday evening. Pittsburgh is coming off a 3-1 road victory over Carolina on Monday while the Bruins look to rebound from a 4-3 defeat to the Devils on Saturday. Boston's visit to Pittsburgh on Wednesday night will be the first matchup since last year's playoff sweep which saw Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask stand on his head. Rask is off to a great start again this season as he leads the Eastern Confernce with a 1.56 GAA. Pittsburgh's goaltender, Marc-Andre Fleury, has been no slouch either as he sits second in the East with a 1.79 GAA. Fleury is an awesome 7-2-0 with a 1.78 GAA in his last nine starts versus Boston. There are plenty of other reasons to expect a low-scoring affair here. The Penguins are a measly 1 for 18 on the power play in their last four games. Additionally, the under is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings between these two teams. The Bruins also tend to focus on their defensive play when they go up against the league's top squads. The under is 12-3-1 in the Bruins last 16 games against a team with a winning record. The Under is 6-1 in the Penguins' last 7 games playing on 1 days rest. Take the UNDER.
