Cleveland & New York over 200
The Cleveland Cavaliers host the New York KNicks on Saturday. Cleveland is coming off a 101-92 loss to Charlotte, while New York beat Utah their last time out, 108-81. The Knicks appear poised to go on a bit of a run right now with the playoffs just around the corner. The team has shown an ability to score the basketball at will in recent games, and any time they have Carmelo Anthony in the lineup, that |

The Tampa Bay Lightning host the Boston Bruins on Saturday night. Tampa Bay is coming off a 3-1 loss to Buffalo, while Boston beat Washington its last time out, 3-0. The Lightning have been in shambles since returning from the Olympic break. The team has dropped four of five games since returning, and has seen captain Martin St. Louis sent out of town. That also puts a damper on friend and linemate Steven Stamkos, who now finds himself playing alongside inferior talent. The Lightning have been outscored 13-6 in their last three games. 03-07-14 | Indiana Pacers v. Houston Rockets -4 | 86-112 | Win | 100 | 9 h 36 m | Show
Houston -4
The Houston Rockets battle the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night. On paper, this looks like a riveting matchup, but the truth is that these teams are headed in opposite directions right now. The Pacers have lost back-to-back games, and are just 13-8 in their last 21 games. What's even less impressive is that the Pacers last five victories have come against the Jazz, Celtics, Lakers, and Bucks (twice), with three of those games being decided late in the fourth quarter. The Pacers allowed 88.3 points per game in their first 40 games this season, but have allowed 97.9 points per game since then. That doesn't bode well for them against a Rockets team that averages a whopping 106.3 points per game, 5.6 points per game more than the league average. Houston has been dominating Eastern Conference opponents all season long. The Rockets are a perfect 13-0 at home against the East, including a victory over the Heat on Tuesday. James Harden and Dwight Howard are playing very good ball, and the Rockets continue to get a significant contribution from Terrence Jones. The Pacers are just 5-15-1 ATS in their last 21 games overall, and are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games. Take Houston. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Houston Rockets -4 |

03-07-14 | New Jersey Devils +105 v. Detroit Red Wings | 4-7 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 8 m | Show
New Jersey ML
The Detroit Red Wings host the New Jersey Devils on Friday night. We cashed in fading the Red Wings last night and we're going back to the well tonight. Detroit is 5-2-2 in their last nine games and that allows us to grab a great price with the Devils. Detroit simply can't continue playing at a high level with all of the injuries that have been mounting for the team. The Wings are without Pavel Datsyuk, Henrik Zetterberg, Stephen Weiss, and Danny Cleary; four of their top six forwards. They lost 4-3 in New Jersey on Tuesday night but that game wasn't as close as the final score indicates. The Red Wings scored a pair of goals on the powerplay; both of which were questionable calls. This is also a terrible spot for Detroit, having to play their third game in four nights. New Jersey, meanwhile, is well rested, and adds Tuomo Ruutu to their lineup, whom they acquired at the trade deadline. Last but not least, the Devils have a significant goaltending edge in this one as Cory Schneider draws the start. Schneider has a 1.92 GAA and .923 save percentage on the season. Detroit will go with Jonas Gustavsson, their backup goaltender, after Jimmy Howard played last night. The Red Wings are 1-4 in their last 5 games in the third game of a 3-in-4 situation. Take New Jersey. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on New Jersey Devils ML |

03-07-14 | Buffalo Sabres v. Florida Panthers UNDER 5.5 | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 8 h 54 m | Show
Florida & Buffalo under 5.5
The Florida Panthers host the Buffalo Sabres on Friday night. It's no secret that the Sabres can't score goals. They're dead last in the league, averaging just 1.95 goals per game. To put that into perspective, the Flames are second worst in the league with 2.27 goals per game. Buffalo's leading goal scorer, Cody Hodgson, has just 16 goals this season, while there are only two Sabres that have scored more than 10 times. We'll be shocked if Buffalo finds the back of the net more than a pair of times tonight, especially since Roberto Luongo is slated to start for the Panthers. Florida will not leave Luongo hanging out to dry in his first start with his new team. Meanwhile, the Sabres are in a similar situation themselves with Michael Neuvirth expected to make his debut with the team. Buffalo will place added emphasis on ensuring that Neuvirth is able to see pucks. Neuvirth battle a Panthers squad that also has trouble scoring, averaging just 2.34 goals per game. Florida's powerplay has a 9.2% success rate on the season, almost five percent lower than the next worst team. The under is 5-1 in the Sabres last 6 road games and 4-1 in the Panthers last 5 home games. Take the under. Good Luck, Razor Ray 9* Play on Florida & Buffalo under 5.5 |

03-07-14 | Brooklyn Nets -4 v. Boston Celtics | 84-91 | Loss | -106 | 8 h 44 m | Show
Brooklyn -4
The Boston Celtics host the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night. Boston is coming off a 108-88 loss to Golden State, while Brooklyn beat Memphis their last time out, 103-94. The Nets come to town having won four games in a row, including great wins over a streaking Bulls team and a hard charging Grizzlies squad. Meanwhile, the Celtics have dropped seven of their last eight games overall, including four of their last five at home. The Nets aren't giving away nearly as many points as they should given the current form of the teams. Additionally, the Nets have won each of the last three meetings between the teams, and are 5-1 in the last six meetings. The Nets climbed over .500 in their last game, needing 59 games to get there, and after working as hard as they did to get there, they won't want to give it away against the lowly Celtics. The Nets are 11-1 ATS in their last 12 games played on regular rest, and they are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 trips to Boston. Take Brooklyn. Good Luck, Razor Ray 9* Play on Brooklyn Nets -4 |

03-07-14 | NY Rangers -122 v. Carolina Hurricanes | 4-2 | Win | 100 | 7 h 23 m | Show
NY Rangers ML
The Carolina Hurricanes host the New York Rangers on Friday night. Carolina is coming off a 3-2 overtime win over San Jose, while New York fell to Toronto their last time out, 3-2 in overtime. Don't let the most recent results of these teams fool you. New York has dropped three in a row, but those losses came at a red-hot Philadelphia team, against second-seeded Boston, and against a Toronto team in overtime. Prior to that, New York had won six of their last seven games. As for Carolina, they may have won their last game, but they lost five in a row prior to that contest. The Rangers have also dominated this series, winning each of their last five trips to Carolina, and winning 10 of the last 11 games in the series, including a 5-1 win in the only meeting between the teams this season. Newcomer Martin St. Louis will look to add to that this time around. He's familiar with Carolina from his days with Tampa Bay. The Rangers are 16-5 in their last 21 road games. Take New York. 03-07-14 | Cleveland Cavaliers v. Charlotte Bobcats -4.5 | 92-101 | Win | 100 | 7 h 9 m | Show
Charlotte -4.5
The Charlotte Bobcats host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night. Charlotte is coming off a 109-87 win over Indiana, while Cleveland dropped their last game against San Antonio, 122-101. The Bobcats may have looked to have hit a bit of a rough patch prior to their last win, but a closer look shows those losses came more as a result of circumstance, which is what allows us to get in at a favorable number in this one. The Bobcats may have lost three games in a row, but those games were all on the road, in San Antonio, in Oklahoma City, and in Miami. With a win over Indiana in their last game, no one could really argue that coming out with one win in four games against the four best teams in basketball isn't a success. Prior to those four games, the Bobcats had won four in a row, and we expect them to get another winning streak going on Friday against a Cavaliers team that has lost five of its last seven games, and hasn't been able to put up much of a fight on the road this season. The Bobcats are 5-0-1 ATS in their last six home games. Take Charlotte. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Charlotte Bobcats -4.5 |

03-06-14 | Vancouver Canucks v. Dallas Stars UNDER 5.5 | 1-6 | Loss | -135 | 7 h 49 m | Show
Dallas & Vancouver under 5.5
The Dallas Stars play host to the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday night. Playing the under in Vancouver games has been very profitable in the new year, and we'll continue to take advantage of 5.5s in Canucks games. Saying that the Canucks are having trouble scoring would be a massive understatement. Vancouver is averaging a league-worst 1.72 goals per game since December 17th. The Canucks haven't scored more than 2 goals in eight straight games. With Daniel Sedin on the shelf and Henrik Sedin continuing to underachieve without his brother in the lineup, the Canucks have no legitimate scoring threat other than Ryan Kesler. The Stars have allowed 2 goals or less in three of their last four home games, and Kari Lehtonen gets the start between the pipes, so we foresee the Canucks struggling to score once again. While Vancouver has been offensively limited, they still boast a pretty solid group of defensemen. Goaltender Eddie Lack has been a rare bright spot for the Canucks as he's compiled an awesome 2.05 GAA and .926 save percentage in 23 games this season. Dallas will find the back of the net but they won't be lighting it up. The under is 4-1 in the Canucks last 5 road games and 39-17-7 in the Canucks last 63 games against Western Conference opponents. The under is 6-2-1 in the Stars last 9 games overall, and the under is 18-6-3 in the last 27 meetings between these two teams in Dallas. Take the UNDER. 03-06-14 | Vancouver Canucks v. Dallas Stars -139 | 1-6 | Win | 100 | 7 h 48 m | Show
Dallas ML
The Dallas Stars play host to the Vancouver Canucks on Monday night. We've had success fading the Canucks in the past month and we'll go right back to the well for this one. Vancouver is one of the league's worst teams right now. Daniel Sedin is sidelined with an injury, Henrik Sedin hasn't recorded a point in 10 games, and head coach John Tortorella is stuck with one of the worst groups of forwards in the league. The Canucks fell 1-0 in Phoenix on Tuesday night and their playoff hopes are fading quickly. The team shipped Roberto Luongo to Florida two days ago and actively tried to move Ryan Kesler on Deadline Day, a sign that the team is already looking to the future. Vancouver now takes on a Dallas squad that is making a playoff push. The Stars have already beaten the Canucks twice this season, and those victories came when Vancouver was healthy and playing much better hockey. This is simply a case of two teams headed in opposite directions. The Canucks are 7-19 in their last 26 games and just 3-13 in their last 16 road games. Meanwhile, the Stars are 6-0 in their last 6 games after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game. Dallas has also won four of the last five meetings between these two teams. Take Dallas. 03-06-14 | St. Louis Blues v. Nashville Predators UNDER 5.5 | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 6 h 22 m | Show
Nashville & St. Louis under 5.5
The Nashville Predators host the St. Louis Blues on Thursday night. Nashville is coming off a 3-1 loss to Pittsburgh, while St. Louis beat Tampa Bay their last time out, 4-2. This game features a St. Louis Blues team still breaking in a new goaltender in Ryan Miller, and a Predators team that has struggled mightily to score. That ends up to a showcase game for the Blues in which they'll go all out in trying to get their new netminder his first shutout with the new team. The Predators managed just 19 shots on goal in their last game, the second time in five games they've been held under 20, and St. Louis has held two of its last three opponents under 20 shots, meaning Miller should have an easy go of it. Goals may be hard to come by for the Blues as well, as they've been shutout in two of three road games since the Olympic break. The under is 25-5-3 in the last 33 meetings between these teams in Nashville, and the under is 7-3 in the Blues' last 10 road games. Take the UNDER. 03-06-14 | Colorado Avalanche +101 v. Detroit Red Wings | 3-2 | Win | 101 | 6 h 20 m | Show
Colorado ML
The Detroit Red Wings host the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday night. Detroit is coming off a 4-3 loss to New Jersey, while Colorado beat Chicago their last time out, 4-2. This quick two-game road trip should already be considered a success for the Avalanche after a win in Chicago, but they'll surely look for a sweep before returning home given their great current form. The Avalanche have won three of four since returning from the Olympic break, with wins in each of their last three games. They've done so on the back of some tremendous offensive play, scoring 4.5 goals per game since returning to action. As for the Red Wings, they'll have a tough time keeping up the scoring pace without top players Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg. The team is also without offseason acquisition Stephen Weiss up the middle, and the team showed its desperation at the deadline, bringing in center David Legwand. The Avalanche are 8-3 in their last 11 road games, while the Red Wings are 3-9 in their last 12 games against Central Division opponents. Take Colorado. The George Mason Patriots went through a really rough stretch in the middle of the season, but they are playing much better of late. George Mason has plenty of talent, but team chemistry has been an issue for much of the season. They have gotten it together in the last couple weeks. George Mason is a very good offensive team, and they have been shooting it at 40% from long range in the past two weeks. George Mason will put up plenty of points against a LaSalle team that has struggled on the defensive end all season. LaSalle made a run to the Sweet 16 last year, but this year |

03-06-14 | Los Angeles Kings -120 v. Winnipeg Jets | 3-1 | Win | 100 | 5 h 24 m | Show
Los Angeles ML
The Winnipeg Jets host the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night. Winnipeg is coming off a 3-2 overtime loss to the New York Islanders, while the Kings beat the Canadiens their last time out, 2-1. We're getting tremendous value in this one on a Kings team that has won five in a row and each of their four games since returning from the Olympic break. They've been able to do so thanks to tremendous defense and goaltending, allowing just two goals in their last three wins. Now the team will debut forward Marian Gaborik, who will surely be extra motivated to find the back of the net in this one now that he finds himself on a legitimate title contender for possibly the first time in his career. As for the Jets, they lost some scoring punch with second line center Mark Scheifele going down with an MCL sprain, leaving the team shorthanded up the middle. The Jets are 2-9 in their last 11 games played on a Thursday, and 0-4 in their last four home games played against a team with a winning road record. Take Los Angeles. 03-04-14 | Vancouver Canucks v. Phoenix Coyotes UNDER 5.5 | 0-1 | Win | 100 | 7 h 38 m | Show
Phoenix & Vancouver under 5.5
The Phoenix Coyotes host the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday night. With both teams showing a complete inability to find the back of the net in recent weeks, this is a no-brainer on our part. Vancouver is absolutely reeling right now. The Canucks have won just one of their past 10 games, scoring just 14 goals in that span. Now, to make matters worse, their leading scorer Daniel Sedin is expected to miss the next three weeks with a left leg injury. Under no condition whatsoever should the Canucks see any totals of 5.5. On the other side of things, Phoenix hasn't scored more than two goals in a game since Februrary 1st, a span of 7 games. The Coyotes have been limited to 30 shots or less in 5 of their last 7 games, and that's just not conducive to scoring in the NHL. Phoenix is also without one of their core players as Martin Hanzal is nursing a lower body injury and is doubtful to play against Vancouver tonight. We also have the added luxury of getting starting goaltender vs. starting goaltender in this matchup. Roberto Luongo has spent the last three games playing the backup role to Eddie Lack, but there's no doubt that Luongo is an upgrade between the pipes. Luongo will have something to prove after being benched in favor of the younger netminder. As for the Coyotes, Mike Smith has improved as the season has worn on and is beginning to regain his stellar form from last year. The Under is 11-4-2 in the Canucks last 17 road games and 38-17-7 in their last 62 against Western Conference opponents. The Under is 5-1 in the Coyotes last 6 home games and 7-2 in their last 9 overall. The Under is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings between these two teams in Phoenix. Take the under. Good Luck, Razor Ray 9* Play on Phoenix & Vancouver under 5.5 [UPDATE: Roberto Luongo has been traded to the Florida Panthers. 03-04-14 | Tampa Bay Lightning v. St. Louis Blues UNDER 5.5 | 2-4 | Loss | -132 | 8 h 48 m | Show
St. Louis & Tampa Bay under 5.5
The St. Louis Blues host the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday night. We'll gladly capitalize on what we believe is a soft total in this matchup. We expected to see a posted total of 5, juiced slightly to the under, so anything higher seems like a gift. This matchup pits two of the best goaltenders in the world against each other. Ryan Miller was traded from Buffalo to St. Louis earlier this week, and despite playing in front of a terrible Sabres defense all year, he posted a stellar .923 save percentage. Miller made his road debut with the Blues on Sunday, making 23 saves in a 4-2 victory. Miller is slated to make his first start in front of the home fans in St. Louis tonight, and subsequently, we look for the Blues defense to play very strong defensively in front of him. Meanwhile, Ben Bishop has been remarkably consistent for the Lightning, with an unreal .932 save percentage and superb 2.05 GAA. The Lightning gave up 6 goals against Colorado on Sunday, so we'll look for them to bounce back with a strong defensive effort as well tonight. Both the Lightning & Blues are in the Top 11 in the NHL in terms of goals allowed per games. With Steven Stamkos still on the shelf for Tampa Bay, goals come at even more of a premium. The Under is 5-2 in Lightning last 7 in the third game of a 3-in-4 days situation. The Under is 21-6-1 in Blues last 28 when their opponent allows 5 goals or more in their previous game. Take the UNDER. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on St. Louis & Tampa Bay under 5.5 |

Golden State +5.5
The Indiana Pacers play host to the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night. Golden State has lost two of their last three games and that allows for us to grab a good line with the Warriors here. Golden State is one of the league's best teams in terms of rebounding after a loss. The Warriors have won their last six games following a loss, covering the spread in each of those games. They haven't lost back-to-back games since late January. Indiana has won five straight games, but we haven't been impressed with their recent performances. The Pacers have beaten the Bucks, Celtics, and Jazz by a combined 13 points in their last three contests. Their last six games have come against non-playoff teams, and to make matters worse, Paul George and George Hill are both banged up entering Tuesday's contest. The Pacers are 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall and just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 vs. Western Conference opponents. The Columbus Blue Jackets battle the Dallas Stars on Tuesday evening. Columbus has quietly become one of the deepest teams in the league. No, we're not kidding. A quick look at the Blue Jackets depth chart reveals three solid forward lines, who are a nightmare for opposing defensemen. The Jackets won in Toronto last night and the Leafs defense core applauded the Jackets forecheck after the game. Columbus should be able to get their forecheck going once again tonight against a Stars squad that gives up 2.74 goals per game. Dallas turns to their backup netminder Dan Ellis, who is a far cry from their starter, Kari Lehtnonen. Ellis' .906 save percentage is one of the worst percentages in the league. The Jackets have won 14 of their last 20 games and continue to be one of the more undervalued teams in the league. Sergei Bobrovsky has been rock solid between the pipes and boasts a stellar 4-0-1 record with a 1.95 GAA in five career starts against the Stars. Columbus went 2-0-1 against Dallas last season. The Stars are 15-39 in their last 54 games playing on no days rest. The Blue Jackets are 8-2 in their last 10 home games and 12-4 in their last 16 games against a team with a losing record. 03-02-14 | Golden State Warriors v. Toronto Raptors +2 | 98-104 | Win | 100 | 15 h 11 m | Show
Toronto +2
The Toronto Raptors host the Golden State Warriors on Sunday afternoon. This is a terrible scheduling spot for Golden State. The Warriors began a six-game East Coast road trip on Monday and will be playing their fourth game of the week against Toronto. To make matters worse, the schedule makers haven't done the Warriors and favors with a 4 PM ET start time, which is essentially a 1:00 start for a West Coast team. Meanwhile, the Raptors haven't taken the court since Thursday and will be well rested for this contest. Toronto suffered a couple of scares on Thursday when Terrence Ross and Kyle Lowry both went down with ankle injuries, but both are expected to play on Sunday. The Raptors have allowed 119.3 points per game against the Warriors with Stephen Curry in the lineup, but this Raptors squad is different from that of years past. This is a team that prides itself on playing strong defense. Toronto, under the guidance of defensive head coach Dwayne Casey, allows just 97.1 point per game; well below the league average of 100.5 The Warriors are 0-4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a win of more than 10 points. Minnesota -3.5
The Sacramento Kings host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday. The Kings had been playing some solid basketball, but they've fallen off since. Center DeMarcus Cousins showed in the team's game against Houston that his mind is elsewhere now, and with the team travelling on the second night of a back-to-back to get to this one, it's going to be hard to expect an A-effort from the Kings. As for the Timberwolves. They've really found their game of late, winning four of their last five, including victories over Indiana and Phoenix, with their lone loss coming at Portland. Star forward Kevin Love in particular has stepped up his game. He's been on fired in the month of February, averaging 34.0 points with 14.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. The team can also be expected to continue their winning ways on the road as they've won two of three there, and the road team has won two of the last three in the series between these teams. The Timberwolves are 11-1 ATS in their last 12 road games against teams with a losing home record. Take Minnesota. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Minnesota Timberwolves -3.5 |

Wake Forest -2
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons have been very good at home this year. Boston College has one signature win all season, and that was their amazing win at Syracuse. Other than that, Boston College has accomplished very little against any team with a pulse. Wake Forest and Boston College are fairly even teams in terms of talent, but I like the fact that Wake Forest works hard on the defensive end. This Boston College team gives the opposition an easy bucket just about every time down the floor. Their defensive numbers are just terrible this year. Wake Forest went through an ugly stretch recently where they looked bad, but that was against quality competition. They bounced back with a nice win at home against a pretty good Clemson team this week. Boston College has gone right back to playing bad basketball after beating Syracuse. A lot of people saw the Boston College win over Syracuse, and that has the perception of this team too high in my opinion. Wake Forest is a team on the rise and they are still a bit undervalued by the oddsmakers. Wake Forest should be favored by several points more than this. Take Wake Forest. Nashville & Winnipeg over 5.5
The Nashville Predators host the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday afternoon. Both of these squads have struggled to score goals at one point or another this season, but those issues can be attributed to injuries. Jets sniper Evander Kane missed an extended period of time while the Preds have had players in and out of the lineup all year. With both teams near 100% on Saturday, we see strong value on the over here. These teams met in Winnipeg in late January, with the Predators pulling out a 4-3 victory. That game saw plenty of goals with only one of those goals coming on the powerplay. Ondrej Pavelec and Carter Hutton are expected to start between the pipes for their respective teams, and that means that we'll likely see subpar goaltending in this matchup. Pavelec sports a .902 save percentage, while Hutton isn't much better at .904. Those numbers are in the bottom half of starting goaltenders in the NHL. The Over is 5-0-1 in the Predators last 6 games against Western Conference opponents. The Over is 12-4-1 in the Jets last 17 games against a team with a losing record. Take the OVER. The 21st-ranked Memphis Tigers host the seventh-ranked Louisville Cardinals on Saturday afternoon. Memphis is coming off a 77-68 loss to Houston, while Louisville beat Temple their last time out, 88-66. The Cardinals have found another gear in the month of February, posting a 7-0 record, giving the team wins in 11 of its last 12 games. Louisville picked up its game right around this time last year, and history seems to be repeating itself once again this season. The Cardinals have been throttling opponents over the course of this streak, even when taking to the road, and that means big trouble for Memphis. Louisville has won its last seven games by an average of 21.9 points. Louisville will also be extra motivated to win this contest after falling to Memphis in the first meeting between the programs this season. The Cardinals are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games, and the road team is 6-0-1 ATS in the last seven meetings between these teams. The Tigers are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall. The Colorado Avalanche play host to the Phoenix Coyotes on Friday evening. Phoenix enters a bad scheduling spot on Friday after playing in Winnipeg on Thursday night. The 1,050-mile flight will take a toll on the Coyotes, especially since they played in overtime and shootout against the Jets yesterday. Phoenix has been terrible on the road as of late, and the odds are stacked against them again on Friday. The Coyotes have scored just 18 goals in their last 9 road games; an average of a measly 2 goals per game. It should also be noted that four of those games went to overtime, providing Phoenix with even more time to score. The Coyotes will struggle to get pucks past Avs goaltender Semyon Varlamov, who has posted a 2.30 GAA and .927 save percentage at home this season. On the other side of things, the Coyotes don't have the defensive core to be able to contain the Avalanche's speed up front. Gabriel Landeskog, Nathan MacKinnon, Matt Duchene, Ryan O'Reilly, and Paul Statsny provide excellent speed and goal-scoring potential for the Avalanche against a subpar Coyotes defense. The Coyotes are 17-36 in their last 53 road games and 0-5 in their last 5 games playing on no rest. The Avalanche are 7-1 in their last 8 games against a team with a losing record. Take Colorado. The Calgary Flames host the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night. The Kings have been one of the kindest teams to under bettors this season, with the under cashing in 29 times compared with only 16 losses this season. After a high-scoring affair in Colorado on Wednesday night, expect Darryl Sutter's squad to tighten up on Thursday. The Kings will need to figure things out in their own end if they hope to get past the Flames, as the Kings have scored just three times against Calgary in two meetings between the teams this season. The team also went into the break with some serious scoring woes, finding the back of the net just eight times in their final eight games heading into the break, going in on a 6-1-1 under run. As for Calgary, they really solidified their back end heading into the break after starting the year slow, posting a team GAA of 1.98 in their last five games. The under is 17-4-5 in Los Angeles' last 26 games versus Pacific Division opponents, and it is 16-4-1 in the last 21 meetings between these teams. Take the UNDER. The Jets went into the break as one of the NHL's hottest teams, winning nine of their final 13 games heading into the break, with three of those four losses coming on the road, winning four of five home games in that stretch. The team's coaching change over to Paul Maurice meant big things for the team, and they should hit the ground running out of the break. The Jets didn't really send a strong contingent of players over to Sochi, allowing the team to get the training camp under their new head coach that they didn't get in the offseason. As for Phoenix, they really hit a wall heading into the break, losing seven of their final 19 games. Things weren't any better on the road, where the Coyotes lost seven of their final eight games. The Coyotes are 1-5 in their last six games against Central Division opponents, while the Jets are 5-1 in their last six games against Pacific Division opponents. The Portland State Vikings are certainly capable of beating North Dakota. In fact, Portland State did beat North Dakota 70-68 in their first meeting this year. North Dakota will be the home team here, but North Dakota has already lost several times on their home floor this season. North Dakota lost at home to Montana State, South Dakota State, and Weber State in the last couple months. This North Dakota State team has had a bunch of trouble staying consistent, even inside a game. North Dakota plays exceptional basketball for short stretches, but then goes through a long drought in the same game. Toronto ML
The New York Islanders host the Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday night. The Maple Leafs couldn't have been too happy to see the Olympic break come upon them. The team went into the break red hot, winning 11 of their final 14 games. A big reason for that was the play of the team's top line, as Phil Kessel, James van Riemsdyk, and Tyler Bozak combined to form arguably the league's top line over the final few weeks January and into February. The Leafs should expect more of the same from the trio, as Kessel and van Riemsdyk combined to form one of the best lines in Sochi for the Americans. Now the team gets to face an Islanders squad that didn't benefit from the break at all, as the Islanders lost captain John Tavares for the season after he suffered a knee injury in Sochi. Worse yet, forward Thomas Vanek was visibly frustrated playing for the Austrians, and it sounds like he'll be out of town before the trade deadline. The Utah Jazz host the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night. Utah is coming off a 110-98 win over Boston, while Phoenix is coming off a 110-101 loss to Minnesota. The Phoenix Suns have been very impressive this season, picking up wins against some of the top teams in the Association, but the team has had some trouble with some of the lesser teams, especially when playing on the road where they are barely over .500. The Suns have already struggled with Utah this season, losing the most recent matchup between the teams in Phoenix, and winning the other meeting between the teams in Phoenix by just three points. As for the Jazz, they'll be in the lottery come June, but the team has some players looking to establish themselves going forward, and it's seen the team play a fair bit better in recent weeks, even picking up a win over Miami earlier in the month. The Jazz have won four of their last seven games and three of their last five home contests, with the trip out to Utah always posing a problem for visitors, and with Phoenix making the trip after a game in Minnesota on Tuesday, it should get to them as well. The Purdue Boilermakers host the Michigan Wolverines on Wednesday night. Purdue is coming off a 76-57 loss to Nebraska, while Michigan beat Michigan State their last time out, 79-70. Michigan has alternated wins and losses over its last seven games, and the team faces a series letdown spot in this one, having played each of their last four games against ranked opponents, and coming off a game against instate rival Michigan State. The Wolverines also haven't fared all that well on the road this season, going 5-4 in true road contests this year, with three of those wins coming by five points or fewer. As for Purdue, they'll look to build on some solid numbers in the first meeting between these clubs this season, in which they kept to within single-digits in Ann Arbor, and were able to outrebound the Wolverines while forcing 16 turnovers. The Boilermakers may not have a shot at climbing to the top of the Big Ten standings, but they'd love to play spoiler against a conference rival in front of their home crowd, so expect an A-effort. Sacramento +4.5
The Sacramento Kings host the Houston Rockets on Tuesday. Sacramento is coming off a 109-95 win over Denver, while Houston beat Phoenix their last time out, 115-112. The standings tell us one story of what we can expect from this matchup on Tuesday, but a closer look tells an entirely different story. The Kings have been a very formidable opponent in recent outings, thanks to the emergence of stars Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins. Gay had also had Houston's number this season, scoring 26 points in a 106-91 win the last time the Rockets came to town, then scoring 25 points in the next meeting in Houston, a 110-106 win for the Kings. In addition to the great play the team has gotten from Gay and Cousins, Isaiah Thomas has stepped up for the Kings, scoring an average of 26.7 points and adding 8.3 assists over his last three games. As for Houston, this is a clear trap game for them with the Clippers on deck. That game will have a major bearing on the West standings, and better teams than the Rockets have fallen into that trap. The Utah Jazz host the Boston Celtics on Monday. Utah is coming off a 121-104 loss to Minnesota, while Boston dropped its last game to Sacramento, 105-98. The Celtics come to Utah mired in a difficult road stretch, having lost the first three games of a four-game road trip, but the team's prospects look bright on Monday. Boston's last road win over a Western Conference opponent came in Utah. In fact, the Celtics have won the last six games in the series overall. The Celtics have scored an average of 102.7 points per game in those contests, and their prospects of keeping that up look good against a Jazz team that's surrendered a whopping 109.3 points per game over their last three. The Celtics will look to Jeff Green early and often - he scored 29 points in their last game, giving him an average of 26.4 points per game over his last seven road games. The Celtics should come out extra motivated after the way their last game ended, with Brad Stevens and Gerald Wallace ejected late in the fourth quarter. The club also gets Ramon Rondo back after he sat out the team's last game. Meanwhile, Utah still awaits the return of top big man Derrick Favors, who has been replaced by Enes Kanter in the team's starting lineup. The Jazz are 1-24 SU when Kanter draws a start. Take Boston. New York +4
The New York Knicks play host to the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night. On the surface, this is a matchup between two teams headed in different directions right now, and that allows us to grab an extremely favorable line. Dallas has won nine of their last 12 games, including the first two contests on their three-game road swing. Aside from one impressive win over the Pacers (Indiana was on a back-to-back), the Mavericks have been disposing of the league's bottom feeders, with wins over the 76ers, Celtics, Jazz, Cavs, and Kings in that span. New York can be lumped into that same category, but with hopes of still making the playoffs, we can count on the Knicks to play hard. And for some reason or another, this Knicks squad has given the Mavericks trouble recently. New York won 92-80 in Dallas on January 5th, limiting Dirk Nowitzki to just 18 points. The Knicks have also won the last two matchups at MSG, holding the Mavericks to an average of 95.5 points in this contests. The Knicks are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 vs. NBA Southwest opponents. The home team is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings between these two teams. Take New York. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on New York Knicks +4 |

The Philadelphia 76ers host the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday. Philadelphia is coming off a 124-112 loss to Dallas, while Milwaukee dropped its last game to Indiana, 110-100. On the surface, this matchup looks like a toss up between two of the Association's worst teams, but a closer look shows that the oddsmakers got this line wrong in a matchup they surely overlooked. The 76ers bring just about the only marquee name to the table in Michael Carter-Williams, and have the better base record, but it's actually the Bucks who are in better form entering Monday's matchup. The 76ers sold off just about all of their useful parts at the trade deadline, and the team is now just a hot mess. Philadelphia's losing streak reached double-digits with their loss in Dallas, so they have no business giving away points to anyone. Meanwhile, Milwaukee's core remains intact, with players like Brandon Knight and Ersan Ilyasova heating up. The 76ers have been outscored by an average of 116.1-95.8 over their last 10 games. Memphis Grizzlies -1.5
The Charlotte Bobcats host the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night. Charlotte has the advantage of getting this game at home, but Memphis has been one of the Association's best road teams, posting a 15-9 mark on the road this season. The Grizzlies get this game on the second night of a back-to-back, but for the Bobcats, this game will be their fourth in five nights, with a six-day layoff in front of them, so looking beyond this game would be understandable. The Bobcats are in position to make the playoffs in the lowly Eastern Conference thanks to a stretch of late in which they've played some pretty hot basketball against inferior opponents. A big reason for that has been the stellar play of power forward Al Jefferson, who has averaged better than 24 points in 2014, but Jefferson has had a tough time scoring against Memphis, understandable with Zach Randolph and reigning Defensive Player of the Year Marc Gasol leaning on him. Randolph showed his ability to take away a dominant big man in the postseason when he shut down Blake Griffin. The Charlotte Bobcats host the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night. Charlotte if coming off a 108-96 win in Detroit in the front-end of this home-and-home series. Detroit badly outplayed Charlotte on Wednesday night, attempting a whopping 23 more field goals thanks to a nine-rebound advantage on the boards. The difference was that Charlotte hit at a ridiculous 52 percent clip on their shots from the field, well above their season average, and well above any team's season average for that matter, while Detroit shot just 39.8 percent from the field. That win on Tuesday helps us to get a favorable number in this matchup on a Charlotte string that hasn't been able to string wins together against a Detroit team that simply has their number. Expect this story to end very differently on Wednesday as the shooting percentage for both sides works back towards the norm. The Pistons are 7-0 in their last seven trips to Charlotte, and the road team is 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings between these teams. Take Detroit. The Cleveland Cavaliers host the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night. Cleveland is coming off a 114-85 win over Philadelphia, while Orlando dropped its last game to Milwaukee, 104-100. With Kyrie Irving winning the All-Star Game MVP award and the Cavaliers winning five games in a row, bettors have been quick to get behind Cleveland in this one, and that's led to plenty of value on the other side in this one. The only playoff team among those five wins was Washington, and they rank in the bottom half of the lowly Eastern Conference, so let's not get ahead of ourselves. The team had lost five in a row prior to that streak. Now they have to deal with an injury to Dion Waiters after he landed awkwardly on Tuesday and injured his left knee. As for Orlando, they've been very competitive of late, keeping within seven points in seven of their last eight games, winning four, and keeping within at least five points in winning three of their last five games. The Portland Pilots dominated Loyola Marymount already on the road this year. They should beat them handily tonight at home as well. Loyola Marymount is a team that has some talent, but they play individual basketball instead of team ball, and a good disciplined team like Portland is a bad matchup for Marymount. Anthony Ireland burst onto the scene as a very good guard for Marymount in his freshman year. He is ultra talented, but he puts up too many bad shots at this point in his career. The Lions shoot less than 30 percent from beyond the three point line. Portland plays well at home (they did beat Gonzaga at home already this year). The Pilots are a well-coached team that does a nice job not beating themselves. Portland is a solid defensive team, and they take care of the ball very well. The Minnesota Timberwolves host the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night. Minnesota is coming off a 107-89 loss to Houston, while Denver fell to Indiana their last time out, 119-80. Minnesota is coming off a disappointing 89-point effort against Houston, but don't let that be indicative of the way they play at home. In their other two home games in the month of February, the team put up 109, and 110 points, while surrendering an average of 108.0. They've been able to put up points after lesser performances as well, as the over is 4-0 in the team's last four contests following a double-digit home loss. As for Denver, they've been able to generate points in away games, as the over is 8-2 in their last 10 road games. The team simply hasn't played any defense on the road in recent outings, surrendering no fewer than 117 points in any of their last four road games, allowing an average of 119.8 points per contest in those games. They've also proven an ability to score the basketball against the Timberwolves, scoring 117 points in each of the first two meetings between the teams this season. The over is 5-0 in the last five meetings between these teams in Minnesota, and 7-2 in the last nine meetings overall. The Phoenix Suns host the Miami Heat on Tuesday night. One of these teams enters this game riding a hot streak, while the other has struggled of late, yet the name value the Heat bring to the table has them installed as favorties by a pretty fair margin. As good as the team is, they have a 21-28 ATS record on the season, meaning they fail to come through more often than not. Many have pointed to the team |

The Memphis Grizzlies host the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night. Memphis is coming off a 91-83 loss to Cleveland, while Washington beat Sacramento in their last outing, 93-84. Few teams can play defense the way that the Grizzlies can, but even fewer teams show the utter lack of concern for how they play at the defensive end the way the Wizards do, particularly when they take to the road. Tennessee +2.5
The Florida Gators are a terrific team, but they are in a difficult spot here. Florida has lost the last two times they have played at Tennessee. The Volunteers actually beat them both times they met in 2012. Tennessee knows how to play Florida tough. Florida blasted Tennessee 67-41 at home earlier this year, but I think that makes this spot even better for the Volunteers. Tennessee has proven time and time again that they are up to the challenge of beating top teams at home. The best team they have played at home this year was Virginia. They won that game 87-52 in a massive blowout. Tennessee can dominate the glass against Florida, and the Volunteers offense is very efficient on their home court. Florida hasn |

The Milwaukee Bucks host the Boston Celtics on Monday night. Milwaukee is coming off a 101-95 loss to Houston, while Boston fell to Dallas in their last outing, 102-91. The Bucks may be getting this game at home, but they have no business being in the pick'em range against any opponent. The Bucks have a league worst nine wins on the season, and are just 5-19 at home. The team, whose roster is short on talent as it is, is poised to take a hit on Monday with Larry Sanders, Ersan Ilyasova, Ekpe Udoh, and Luke Ridnour all dealing with injuries. Those first three in particular mean big trouble in the boards for the Bucks as guys like Kris Humphries and Jared Sullinger, fresh off a double-double, will be licking their chops. As for Boston, the franchise may be in tank mode, but they have far more talent, and more pride. Rajon Rondo is expected to miss this contest but that will force the rest of the Celtics to pick up the slack. Boston takes on a woeful Bucks defense, and the team had won three in a row prior to their last loss. The Bucks are 2-17 in their last 19 outings. Take Boston. New Jersey ML
The Washington Capitals host the New Jersey Devils on Saturday evening. This is a terrible spot for Washington. The Capitals are playing their last game before the Olympic break, and we wouldn't be surprised if Caps' star Alex Ovechkin already has his sights set on representing Russia on home soil. They also take on a Devils squad that's given them grief over the past few seasons. New Jersey plays a very frustrating brand of hockey on the road. The Devils don't take very many penalties and they clog up the neutral zone. This style of play has proven to be very successful against the Caps, as the Devils have won seven of the last eight meeting between these two teams. The Devils defeated the Oilers last night in New Jersey, and although we'd usually be skeptical in backing a team playing on back-to-back nights, the Devils have thrived in that role. New Jersey is 7-3 in their last 10 games on the second half of a back-to-back. The Devils have also chosen to go back to Cory Schneider between the pipes instead of veteran Martin Brodeur. That's music to our ears. Schneider has been nothing short of outstanding this season as he enters tonight's contest with a .925 save percentage and 1.88 GAA. The Capitals are 2-11 in their last 13 games playing on 1 days rest. The Capitals are 3-7 in their last 10 when their opponent scores 2 goals or less in their previous game. Take New Jersey. NY Islanders & Colorado over 5.5
The New York Islanders battle the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday evening. The Avalanche have been struggling offensively in recent weeks, but this is the perfect opportunity to get back on trap against a terrible Islanders defense. New York has allowed 195 goals this season, the second-worst total in the league. Prior to the Avalanche's struggles on their road trip, they had scored 16 goals over the course of a three game winning streak. The Islanders are struggling a bit offensively as well, but they're back at home, where goals have been easy to come by this season. The over is 6-1 in the Islanders last 7 home games. Even with the team's recent offensive struggles, the over is 7-3 in their last 10 games, showcasing their complete inability to play defense. J.S Giguere and Evgeni Nabokov are slated to start between the pipes for their respective teams. Both were considered elite goalies at one point in their career, but neither is very good right now. Expect plenty of goals in this contest. The Over is 5-0-1 in the last 6 meetings between these two teams in New York. The Over is 10-3 in the Avalanche's last 13 after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game. Take the OVER. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on NY Islanders & Colorado over 5.5 |

Indiana -5.5
The Indiana Pacers host the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night. Indiana is coming off an 89-85 win over Atlanta, while Portland beat New York their last time out, 94-90. While Portland may be coming off a win, the team has taken a major step backwards in recent weeks. The Trail Blazers have lost three of their last five and five of their last nine games, including three of their last four on the road. The team simply hasn't been able to keep up the torrid scoring pace that they were able to accumulate earlier in the season. Over their last five games, the Trail Blazers have averaged just 91.8 points per game. Now they get a Pacers team that is streaking in the right direction, and of course, plays terrific defense. The Pacers have won three in a row, allowing just 86.7 points per game along the way. The Pacers have also done a terrific job of defending their home court, posting a 23-2 home record on the season, and should be able to add to that mark as the home team has won each of the last seven meetings between these clubs. The Pacers are 25-9 ATS in their last 34 home games. Take Indiana. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Indiana Pacers -5.5 |

The Harvard Crimson host the Brown Bears on Friday night. Harvard is coming off an 80-50 win over Pennsylvania, while Brown beat Columbia their last time out, 64-56. Harvard has been kicking ass and taking names in Ivy League play, but Brown has been a lot better of late, and could give them a run for their money. The Bears have quietly won five of their last six games. A big part of the team's turnaround has been the play of Sean McGonagill. McGonagill is averaging a team-high 18.5 points per game on the season, and has continued to pour in points in Ivy League play, scoring 17.8 points per game on 44.7 percent shooting, also hitting on 52.0 percent of three-pointers in those four games. Brown also isn't afraid to go on the road to face Harvard. In last year's trip to Cambridge, the Bears forced overtime in a game they eventually lost 89-82 as 11.5-point favorites. With the Bears ranking 14th in the nation in rebounding and Harvard ranking 163rd, the Bears could be in position to make some noise once again. The Bears are 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine Ivy League games. Take Brown. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Brown Bears +16 |

The Golden State Warriors host the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night. The Bulls had won seven of their previous eight road games, and 11 of 15 games overall to get themselves back above .500 for the first time since Nov. 24. prior to losing back-to-back games to begin their current six-game road trip. The second of those back-to-back losses saw the team shoot a season-low 28.2 percent from the field, their worst shooting performance since 2003. The team bounced back in their last outing, a crucial road win over Phoenix to get back to the .500 mark. Now it will be Golden State looking to rebound from a poor shooting effort, though they'll be in tough against a strong Bulls defense, rather than the offensive minded Suns. The Warriors were playing their first game in four days on Tuesday when they took on Golden State and they just could not find their shooting stroke against a solid Charlotte defense. The Warriors shot just 31.2 percent from the field, their worst performance since 2004. The team |

Philadelphia ML
The Philadelphia Flyers host the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday night. Philadelphia is coming off a 2-0 win over Los Angeles, while the Avalnche fell to the Rangers in their last outing, 5-1. The Flyers return home for this one after a three-game road trip in which they performed quite well in California. The team took two of three on the trip including picking up their first win in San Jose since 1999. That has the team in a tie roe the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, and with only two games remaining before the Olympic break, they wont want to surrender that spot. The Flyers have been streaking at home since a rough start to the season, upping their home record to 14-10-1. A big reason for the turnaround has been the improved play of captain Claude Giroux. Giroux needed to get 15 games under his belt before he found the back of the net, but he's tuned things around in a big way. Over his last seven games, Giroux has racked up five goals and 11 points. As for Colorado, they'll be in tough in Philadelphia, where they've lost each of their last two trips. The Flyers are 3-1 in their last four games. Take Philadelphia. Toronto pk
The Sacramento Kings host the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night. Sacramento is coming off a 99-70 win over Chicago, while Toronto beat Utah their last time out, 94-79. Don't let the Kings fool you, the team may be coming off a win over the Bulls, buy they've been downright lousy of late. The team had dropped seven in a row before the Bulls came to town. The only reason they were able to sneak was Chicago was that the Bulls didn't ever really show up. The team shot just 28.2 percent from the floor, their worst effort in nearly a decade. On the other side, the Raptors are streaking in the right direction. Toronto has won four of its last five games and six of its last eight, with the only two losses coming by a combined 11 points to two of the top teams in the Western Conference - the Clippers and Trail Blazers. The Raptors have been a strong team on the road this season, putting together a 14-12 road record, putting them in pretty elite company with the Pacers and Heat as the only Eastern Conference teams with a road record above .500. These teams were involved in a blockbuster trade early this season, with the Raptors sending Rudy Gay to Sacramento. Gay's unwillingness to spread the ball made him expendable in Toronto, and the Raptors are going to love showing up to Sacramento with a full scouting report on how to stop him. Gay's departure has meant increased roles for other Raptors, like DeMar DeRozan who earned his first All Star nod, Kyle Lowry who is averaging career-highs across the board, and Jonas Valanciunas, who has imposed his will in recent games, averaging 16.7 points and 10.2 rebounds over the last six games. The Raptors have quietly been one of the best bets in basketball, posting a 22-6 ATS mark over their last 28 games, and a 21-7 ATS mark in their last 28 road games. With the oddsmakers simply getting this line wrong, we'll gladly bump this play up to our top rating. Take Toronto. Good Luck, Razor Ray 10* TOP PLAY on Toronto Raptors pk |

02-05-14 | San Antonio Spurs -1 v. Washington Wizards | 125-118 | Win | 100 | 6 h 47 m | Show
San Antonio -1
The Washington Wizards play host to the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday evening. Washington finally move above the .500 mark after beating the Blazers on Monday, but we see this as a good time to sell high on the Wiz. Washington is capable of playing a good brand of basketball, but they're also one of the most inconsistent squads in the league. The Wizards have defeated the Thunder and Blazers in back-to-back games, but let's not forget that they've lost to the Celtics, Bucks, 76ers, and Jazz this season; four of the league's worst teams. Now they battle a Spurs team that has put together back-to-back wins following a season-worst three games losing streak. The Spurs will undoubtedly miss the services of Kawhi Leonard and Manu Ginobli, but they have a very deep squad that is capable of winning games in their absence. San Antonio has also been downright dominant against the Wizards in recent years. The Spurs have won 15 straight matchups against Washington, including six straight on the road, with an average margin of victory of 21.1 points. The Spurts already beat up the Wizards earlier this season, limiting John Wall to just 14 points on 5-of-19 shooting. Wall's 11.8 ppg in five career games against San Antonio is his lowest against any team in the league. The Spurs are 43-19-1 ATS in their last 63 games against Eastern Conference opponents. The Wizards are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 home games. Take San Antonio. Good Luck, Razor Ray 9* Play on San Antonio Spurs -1 |

02-04-14 | Wisconsin v. Illinois UNDER 130 | 75-63 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 30 m | Show
Illinois & Wisconsin under 130
The Illinois Fighting Illini host the Wisconsin Badgers on Tuesday evening. Wisconsin was ranked third in the nation not too long ago, but they've been on a horrible slide, losing five of their last six games. We expect the Badgers to attempt to get back on track by doing what they do best... play solid defense. The Badgers are allowing just 63.3 ppg and 42.5 percent shooting this season. That doesn't bode well for an Illinois squad that's surpassed 70 total point in just one of their last seven contests. The Illini boast a terribly inefficient offense. Illinois shoots just 41.3 percent from the field, and they too, are forced to make up for their offensive inefficiencies by playing good defense. The Illini give up just 64.1 ppg and limit opponents to a very minimal 41.5 percent from the field. This is an extremely important game for both teams. As mentioned above, Wisconsin is struggling, but Illinois is also reeling, having dropped seven straight games. Both coaches will stress the importance of playing a strong defensive game, which will lead to a lot of contested shots and a lot of drained shot clocks. The under is 8-3 in the Fighting Illini's last 11 games following a S.U. loss and 17-6 in the Fighting Illini's last 23 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Take the UNDER. LA Lakers +11
The Minnesota Timberwolves host the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night. We don't believe there's been enough of a market correction to Minnesota without Nikola Pekovic in the lineup. Pekovic has missed four straight games and his absence has been felt in back-to-back losses to Atlanta and Memphis. As Kevin Love said after Saturday's loss in Atlanta, "you're having to make up for 20 points and 10 rebounds", which is a lot of production that is missing. Meanwhile, the Lakers are struggling, but they get some good news with the likely return of Steve Nash to the lineup. Nash has been suffering from a nerve root irritation in his back but is expected to be back in the lineup against the T'Wolves. Fellow guard Steve Blake could also be making his return to the lineup tonight. Despite the numerous injuries that the Lakers have suffered, they've only lost one of their last 12 games by a margin of 12 points or greater. That loss came against the Indiana Pacers, one of the league's strongest teams. Los Angeles has been producing in the win column, but they also haven't been getting blown out. Toronto ML
The Florida Panthers play host the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday evening. At a pick'em price, we believe Toronto is offering up great value tonight. The Leafs have gone 9-1-1 in their last 11 games, and are scoring at will right now. Toronto has scored four non-shootout goals or more seven times in their last 11 games, in large part due to Phil Kessel, who has a whopping 23 points in his last 12 contests. Florida has struggled to keep the puck out of the back of the net this season, and lost to Toronto 6-3 earlier last week. Goaltender Tim Thomas is clearly at the tail end of his career as he's been awful in recent weeks. Thomas has a 3.70 GAA in his last seven starts, allowing at least three goals in all seven of those contests. On the other side of things, the Leafs have benefited from superb goaltending. Jonathan Bernier has been very consistent this season and holds a 2.72 GAA over his last nine starts. As is often the case when the Leafs travel to Florida, this will almost seem as though it's a home game for Toronto. There will be a ton of Leafs fan in attendance tonight and we think that they'll continue their winning ways over one of the league's bottom feeders. The Maple Leafs are 4-1 in the last 5 meetings between these two teams. The Panthers are 15-37 in their last 52 games following a loss of 3 or more goals. Take Toronto. The Dallas Mavericks host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday. Dallas is coming off a 107-103 win over Sacramento, while Cleveland fell to Houston in their last game, 106-92. The Mavericks have been solid at home this season, but their defensive play has let them down in a big way of late. Over their last four games, the Mavericks have surrendered 108.3 points per game. In their last four home games, that number jumps up to 113.3 points per game. Given their current form, it will be a tough task for them to build up this kind of margin against a Cavaliers team that can score the basketball. The Mavericks have also been bailed out by some strong performances of late by Dirk Nowitzki, but his 42.8 percent shooting mark against the Cavaliers is his lowest against any franchise. A big part of that has been the play of Anderson Varejao in the middle. He has helped Cleveland to the 15th-best rebounding margin in the association, compared with Dallas |

The Dallas Stars host the New Jersey Devils on Thursday night. Dallas is coming off a 4-3 loss to Colorado, while New Jersey fell to St. Louis in their last outing, 3-0. The Dallas Stars hit a real rough patch around the start of the new year. They were the last team to pick up a victory in calendar 2014, but they now appear to be back in form, and we'll gladly get behind them as the betting public is slow to react. The Stars returned home and have won three of the first four games on their current homestand. Not only have they been winning, but the Stars have been scoring in bunches, putting up 4.3 goals per game over those four contests. Captain Jamie Benn has been white hot over that stretch of games, posting three goals and five assists over those four contests. The Stars have scored on the power play in eight consecutive contests. That spells trouble for a Devils team that has allowed 10 goals in their last two games. The Ottawa Senators host the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday night. Ottawa is coming off a 3-2 win over Columbus, while Tampa Bay fell to Toronto in their last outing, 3-2. The Lightning have been without their top player in the month of January and yet they've been able to put up a strong 8-5-1 record. The team has been able to do so thanks to some youngsters stepping up on their top line alongside Martin St. Louis. St. Louis has 14 points in his last 11 games. The team may not have been able to get past Toronto, but they outplayed the Leafs throughout the night, racking up 42 shots in the game. As for Ottawa, it appeared the team was turning things around entering the new year, but they just haven't been able to string wins together, posting a 4-12 record in their last 16 games following a win. Ottawa gets this game at home, but they're returning home from a four-game road trip and will go right back on the road following the game, so fatigue could be a factor. The Denver Nuggets host the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday night. Denver is coming off a 125-117 win over Sacramento, while Charlotte fell to Chicago their last time out, 89-87. We were very active in backing the over in Denver games last season, and had a ton of success in doing so, but this isn't about fading the Nuggets' offense, rather it's about backing a Charlotte team that has been content to slow the pace of their games down all season, and is quietly playing some solid defensive basketball. While Denver may look to push the pace in this one, Charlotte will be looking to slow things down, and that's going to help our cause. Charlotte ranks in the bottom 10 in the league in pace of play, and in the bottom five in offensive efficiency. Conversely, the Bobcats rank in the top 10 in defensive efficiency, and are surrendering just 97.2 points per game, the sixth-best mark in the association. Both teams have also been off for an extended period which could lead to some sluggish play in the early going. The under is 4-1 in Charlotte's last five games when playing on three or more days of rest. The under is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these teams. Take the UNDER. Miami +5
The Miami Hurricanes can play some very good defense, and that keeps them in almost every game. Miami is also stalling on offense and keeping games very low scoring. That obviously leads to a bunch of very close games. Maryland likes to run the floor, but the Terrapins offense hasn |

01-29-14 | NY Rangers -128 v. NY Islanders | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 22 h 40 m | Show
NY Rangers ML
The New York Islanders host the New York Rangers on Wednesday night. The Islanders are coming off a 6-3 loss to the Bruins, while the Rangers beat up on the Devils their last time out, 7-3. The Islanders had a bit of a run coming out of a terrible start to the season, but that seems to have come to an end with the team dropping each of the first three contests in their current four-game homestand. The Islanders are a woeful 3-13 in their last 16 games against divisional opponents. As for the Rangers, as is often the case with Henrik Lundqvist's teams, a slow start is in the past and the team has won seven of their last 10 games. Now they go on the "road", although this game will be played in front of the Bronx faithful at Yankee Stadium. The venue won't help out the Islanders one bit. In fact, the opposite has been true in this series, as the road team is 6-0 in the last six meetings between these teams. The Rangers are 4-0 in their last four road games, while the Islanders are 8-20 in their last 28 home games. Take the New York Rangers. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on NY Rangers ML |
