02-07-18 | Jazz v. Grizzlies +7.5 | 92-88 | Win | 100 | 11 h 29 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Utah Jazz have been in excellent form of late, coming off six straight victories (6-0 ATS) and defeating quality teams such as Pistons, Raptors, Warriors and Spurs. I would note be surprised to see them come out flat here at Memphis Wednesday night though. First of all, we can note that Utah is just 4-12 ATS in its last 16 road games vs. a team with a losing home record while the Grizzlies are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 home games. Memphis is back home from a four-game road trip which ended with a 108-82 loss at Atlanta last night. The Grizzlies are 6-1 ATS in their last seven home games following a road trip of seven or more days and 4-0 ATS in their last four games playing on no rest. My selection is an 8* play on Memphis Grizzlies. |

02-07-18 | Rockets v. Heat UNDER 211.5 | Top | 109-101 | Win | 100 | 17 h 14 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NBA BOOKIE BREAKER The Houston Rockets beat the Brooklyn Nets 123-113 on Tuesday night, but I think we'll see fewer points on the board when they visit the reeling Miami Heat here the night day. Miami is suffering through its longest losing streak of the season (four straight defeats) and under is 6-2 in Heat's last eight overall. Under is 10-2 in Rockets last 12 overall and 6-2-1 last nine playing on no rest. The Rockets won the last meeting 99-90 home at Houston on January 22, with the total closing at 213 points. Under is 5-2 in the last seven head-to-head meetings. My selection is a 10* play on Rockets @ Heat to go UNDER the total. |
02-07-18 | Rockets v. Heat +5 | 109-101 | Loss | -115 | 11 h 1 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Houston Rockets beat the Brooklyn Nets 123-113 on Tuesday night, but I think we'll see fewer points on the board when they visit the reeling Miami Heat here the night day. Rockets are 1-7 ATS in their last eight games playing on no rest and 2-6 ATS in their last eight road games vs. a team with a winning home record. while the Heat are 8-0 ATS in their last eight games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. My selection is an 8* play on Miami Heat. |
02-06-18 | Thunder v. Warriors UNDER 230 | 125-105 | Push | 0 | 15 h 51 m | Show
THUNDER @ WARRIORS LATE NIGHT TOTAL The Oklahoma City Thunder will be trying to put an end end a four-game losing streak when they visit the reigning NBA champions Golden State Warriors Tuesday night. They'll no doubt have their work cut out for them though, facing a Warriors team that is playing on two days rest and aiming to bounce back from a loss at Denver. The books expect a high-scoring contest, but I think they'll set the total way too high here. Note that under is 9-1 in Thunder's last 10 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and 5-1 in their last six vs. Western Conference foes. Under is 6-2 in Warriors last eight games playing on two days rest and 5-1 in their last six vs. a team with a winning straight up record. We can also note that Under is 8-1 in the last nine meetings at Oracle Arena. Golden State dropped a 108-91 decision at Oklahoma City on Nov. 22 and under is 6-1 in the last seven meetings overall. My selection is an 8* play on Thunder @ Warriors to go under the total. |
02-06-18 | Michigan State v. Iowa +11 | 96-93 | Win | 100 | 13 h 41 m | Show
CBB BANKROLL BUILDER - MSU @ IOWA The Michigan State Spartans look to extend a six-game winning streak when they pay a visit to the Iowa Hawkeyes Tuesday night. They're however just 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600, and I think they're in for a tough game here against Iowa which is 8-4 SU at home. The Hawkeyes will seek to bounce back from an 82-58 beating at Penn State and they're 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games following a straight up loss of more than 20 points. My selection is an 8* play on Iowa Hawkeyes. |
02-06-18 | Wizards +6 v. 76ers | Top | 102-115 | Loss | -107 | 17 h 27 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NBA BOOKIE BREAKER The Washington Wizards have won a season-best five straight games since losing All-Star point guard John Wall to a knee-injury for six to eight weeks. They've averaged 115.8 points during that stretch and shot a solid 54.9 percent in Monday's 111-102 victory over Indiana. Sure, they'll be playing on no rest here, but I still think they'll give the Philadelphia 76ers all they can handle. Philly has dropped four of its last five games and the underdog is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in this series. My selection is a 10* play on Washington Wizards. |
02-06-18 | Golden Knights +115 v. Penguins | Top | 4-5 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 60 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NHL) The two-time defending Stanley Cup champions Pittsburgh Penguins saw their four-game winning streak come to an end with a 3-1 setback at New Jersey on Saturday. I think they'll find it though to bounce back here when they host the Vegas Golden Knights Tuesday night, and I'm so confident the value is on the visitors in this matchup that I'm making this my NHL Game of the Week selection. Vegas has won three of four on this six-game road trip and its netminder, former Penguin Marc Andre Fleury, has won each of his last five road outings. This will be his first game at Pittsburgh since leaving the team, and I expect him to bring his a-game. The Golden Knights are 10-2 in their last 12 vs. teams from the Eastern Conference while the Penguins are 4-9 in their last 13 against teams from the West. My NHL Game of the Week is a 10* play on Vegas Golden Knights. |
02-05-18 | Wizards v. Pacers OVER 212.5 | Top | 111-102 | Win | 100 | 15 h 48 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NBA BOOKIE BREAKER (TOTAL) Over is 9-2 in the last 11 meetings between the Washington Wizards and the Indiana Pacers, and I think we'll see another high-scoring affair when they clash at Bankers Life Fieldhouse Monday night. The Wizards have averaged 117 points per game and totaled 132 assists in four wins since losing All-Star point guard John Wall to a knee-injury for six to eight weeks. The Pacers have won four of their last five and averaged 110 ppg during that stretch. My selection is a 10* play on OVER. |
02-05-18 | Blazers v. Pistons -125 | 91-111 | Win | 100 | 9 h 45 m | Show
NBA MONEYLINE MASSACRE The Portland Trail Blazers took a heartbreaking 97-96 loss to Boston due to Al Horford's buzzer-beating shot on Sunday. Tough spot to bounce back here, playing on no rest against a re-energized Detroit Pistons team which has won the first three games of a six-game homestand since acquiring Blake Griffin from the LA Clippers. Prior to the Griffin trade, the Pistons lost eight straight but they're now just a half-game behind Philadelphia for the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference. Home team is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings and Detroit has covered the spread in each of the last four encounters with Portland. My selection is an 8* play on Detroit Pistons. |
02-05-18 | Bucknell -8 v. Lehigh | Top | 89-92 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 56 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* CBB PLAY OF THE DAY The Bucknell Bison have won 10 straight games and I think they'll keep rolling when they visit the Lehigh Mountain Hawks on Monday. Lehigh is coming off back-to-back wins, but it had lost four straight prior to that and here it'll face a Bison team that ranks 41st in scoring offense and defeated the Mountain Hawks 78-65 at home earlier this season. Bison are 7-2 ATS in their last nine road games, 8-2 ATS in their last 10 vs. Patriot League and the road team is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings with Lehigh. My selection is a 10* play on Bucknell Bison. |
02-04-18 | Eagles +5 v. Patriots | Top | 41-33 | Win | 100 | 298 h 48 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NFL) - MIKE'S SUPER BOWL LII BEST BET The New England Patriots failed to cover the spread in their 24-20 win over Jacksonville in the AFC Championship Game, and I predict another tight affair when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII on Sunday. The Eagles have managed to overcome a season-ending injury to their star QB Carson Wentz, as backup QB Nick Foles has been able to get the job done backed up by a solid defense that has allowed a total of just 17 points here in the postseason. My NFL Game of the Week is a 10* play on Philadelphia Eagles. |
02-04-18 | Sharks +117 v. Hurricanes | Top | 3-1 | Win | 117 | 4 h 37 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NHL POWER PLAY The San Jose Sharks snapped a four-game skid with a 3-1 triumph at Columbus Friday night. I like their chances of riding that momentum to another victory when they visit the Carolina Hurricanes Sunday afternoon. The Canes are in pretty much the opposite situation as they saw a three-game winning streak come to an end with a 4-1 loss to Detroit on Friday. This will be their third game in four nights, and we can note that the Hurricanes are 0-5 in their last five in the third game of a 3-in-4 situation and just 1-7 in their last eight vs. a team with a winning record. My selection is a 10* play on San Jose Sharks. |
02-04-18 | Blazers v. Celtics OVER 201 | Top | 96-97 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 17 m | Show |
SUPER EARLY TOP RATED 10* NBA PLAY OF THE DAY (TOTAL) The Portland Trail Blazers saw their four-game winning streak end with a 130-105 loss at Toronto on Friday. I think we'll see the Blazers involved in another high-scoring contest when they visit the Boston Celtics Sunday afternoon. Note that over is 7-2 in Trail Blazers last nine games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points, 10-4 last 14 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game and 8-2 in their last 10 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Boston defeated Atlanta 119-110 its last time out, and the Celtics have no doubt been involved in their fair share of high-scoring games lately. We can also note that each of their last three encounters with Portland have gone over the total, with closing numbers of 213.5, 218 and 222. The posted total for this contest looks way too low to pass up on. My selection is a 10* play on OVER. |
02-04-18 | Bucks -4.5 v. Nets | 109-94 | Win | 100 | 6 h 31 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Milwaukee Bucks have won five of their last six games since firing head coach Jason Kidd, and they've allowed just 97.5 points on 44 percent shooting during that stretch. On Sunday they'll visit a struggling Brooklyn Nets side which has lost five of its last six and been held to fewer than 100 points in four of those games. Under is 12-2 in Bucks last 14 overall and 14-4 in Nets last 18 home games. We can also note that the Bucks are 12-3-1 ATS in the last 16 meetings in Brooklyn and I see that trend continue here. My selection is an 8* play on Milwaukee Bucks. |
02-04-18 | Bucks v. Nets UNDER 209 | 109-94 | Win | 100 | 5 h 29 m | Show

02-04-18 | Tottenham Hotspur v. Liverpool OVER 3 | Top | 2-2 | Win | 100 | 8 h 56 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* EPL PUNISHER TOTTENHAM @ LIVERPOOL Tottenham won the last encounter with Liverpool 4-1, and I think goals will come fast and easy for both teams when they clash at Anfield Road on Sunday. Note that Spurs Harry Kane has scored 18 goals in his last 13 Premier League away games. Both teams are battling for Champions League/Europa League spots, and Liverpool in particular have a propensity of being involved in high-scoring affairs when taking on top opponents. Just look at the following results:  Liverpool – Manchester City: 4-3 Expect fireworks. My selection is a 10* play on OVER. |
02-03-18 | San Francisco v. Santa Clara +4.5 | 70-59 | Loss | -108 | 23 h 7 m | Show
LATE CBB NIGHTCRAWLER (11 PM ET START) I think the Santa Clara Broncos are spotted too many points to pass up on here. They took a 63-45 home loss to Pacific their last time out but 5-1 ATS in their last six after scoring less than 50 points in their previous game. They'll host a San Francisco team coming off back-to-back losses at Gonzaga and St. Mary's, most recently taking a 79-43 beating by the Gaels. Dons are 0-5 ATS in the last five meetings and the underdog is 4-0 ATS in the last four encounters. My selection is an 8* play on Santa Clara Broncos. |
02-03-18 | Warriors v. Nuggets OVER 229.5 | Top | 108-115 | Loss | -110 | 22 h 56 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NBA) The Denver Nuggets are in a favorable spot here, having had a days rest since defeating OKC 127-124 Thursday night. They'll host a Golden State Warriors team that took a 129-99 beating at Utah on Tuesday and played the Kings at Sacramento Friday night. Over is 4-1 in Warriors last five games playing on no rest and 13-3 in Nuggets last 16 vs. a team with a winning straight up record. Over is 7-0 in the last seven meetings at Pepsi Center and 19-13 in Warriors games when the total is greater than or equal to 220 this season. My selection is a 10* play on Over. |
02-03-18 | Warriors v. Nuggets +5 | 108-115 | Win | 100 | 22 h 55 m | Show
SUBSCRIBERS ONLY The Denver Nuggets are in a favorable spot here, having had a days rest since defeating OKC 127-124 Thursday night. My selection is a 10* play on Denver Nuggets. |
02-03-18 | Heat v. Pistons -3.5 | 107-111 | Win | 100 | 9 h 15 m | Show
NBA HEAT @ PISTONS HARDWOOD HAMMER The Detroit Pistons just barely squeezed by Memphis 104-102 on Thursday in Blake Griffin's debut. The star power forward contributed with 24 points, 10 rebounds and five assists and I think he and the Pistons will do even better here after spending more time together. The Heat have gone six straight games scoring under 100 points and they are 2-4 in that stretch. They've covered the spread in just one of the last seven meetings at Little Caesars Arena. My selection is an 8* play on Detroit Pistons. |
02-03-18 | Huddersfield Town v. Manchester United UNDER 3 | Top | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 11 h 10 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (SOCCER) Manchester United are likely to hand Alexis Sanchez his home debut when they host Huddersfield on Saturday, but I still think goals will come at a premium for both sides. United will try to bounce back from a 2-0 loss to Tottenham which ended an eight-game unbeaten league run. It also ended a sequence of four successive league clean sheets. Huddersfield have lost their last four league games and scored in just three of their 12 away league fixtures. I expect a 1-0, 2-0 win for the home side, and I think we're getting an excellent number on the total. My Soccer Game of the Week is a 10* play on Under. |
02-02-18 | Blazers v. Raptors -4.5 | 105-130 | Win | 100 | 19 h 35 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Toronto Raptors lost 122-119 to the Washington Wizards on Thursday night, but I think they'll bounce right back with a win here the next night. They'll host a Portland Trail Blazers side in a let down spot after a dominant 124-108 triumph over Chicago in a game where CJ McCollum scored a career-best 50 points including a franchise-record 28-point first quarter. The Raptors have won the last five meetings, including a 99-85 victory at Portland on Oct. 30 and this is not a good spot for Portland to get revenge. My selection is an 8* play on Toronto Raptors. |
02-02-18 | Pacers +3.5 v. Hornets | Top | 126-133 | Loss | -115 | 18 h 6 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NBA PLAY OF THE DAY The Indiana Pacers head to Charlotte riding a three-game winning streak, including a 105-96 triumph over the Hornets on January 29. Charlotte bounced back by delivering a 123-110 beating to the Hawks at Atlanta on Wednesday but is just 2-8-2 ATS in its last 12 games following a straight up win. Normally I would look to back the Hornets to get revenge here, but we can note that they're just 5-12 ATS in their last 17 home games and 11-20 in revenge spots this season. My selection is a 10* play on Indiana Pacers. |
02-02-18 | Pacers v. Hornets UNDER 210.5 | 126-133 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 50 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Indiana Pacers head to Charlotte riding a three-game winning streak, including a 105-96 triumph over the Hornets on January 29. Each of the last four meetings have gone under the total. My selection is an 8* play on Under. |
02-02-18 | Sharks v. Blue Jackets -123 | Top | 3-1 | Loss | -123 | 11 h 57 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NHL) The Columbus Blue Jackets will be well rested for this clash with the San Jose Sharks, coming off two days of rest since a 3-2 SO loss to Minnesota. They're 20-7 in their last 27 Friday night games and 23-8 in their last 31 games playing on two days rest. The San Jose Sharks meanwhile are coming off four straight defeats and this will be their third game in four nights. They're just 2-6 in their last 8 in the third game of a 3-in-4 situation and 0-8 in their last eight road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. Columbus boasts a solid 16-8-0 home record and should prove worth the price we're asked to lay here. My selection is a 10* play on Columbus Blue Jackets. |
02-01-18 | Lightning -109 v. Flames | 7-4 | Win | 100 | 12 h 60 m | Show
NHL 3-PACK The Calgary Flames will be looking to bounce back from a demoralizing loss to Vegas as they gave up three goals within the final two minutes of the game to lose 4-2 in their first game back from the All Star break. They've now dropped five in a row and this looks like another tough spot when they host the Tampa Bay Lightning Thursday night. Tampa Bay took a 5-1 home loss against the Flames in January but is a solid 7-1 when seeking revenge for a home loss this season and 17-8-0 on the road. My selection is an 8* play on Tampa Bay Lightning. |
02-01-18 | SMU v. Tulsa +3 | Top | 67-76 | Win | 100 | 18 h 19 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* CBB BOOKIE BREAKER The Tulsa Golden Hurricane have dropped five of their last six games, but they took down Memphis 64-51 their last time out here at Reynolds Center where they're 8-2 SU (5-2 ATS) on the season. The SMU Mustangs have won three of their last four, but they have a losing road record and took a 63-52 loss at UConn their last time out away from home. SMU has lost junior forward Jarrey Foster and reserve forward Everett Ray to injuries for the season leaving the Mustangs with eight eligible scholarship players for the remaining 11 games of the regular season. Odds are they'll run out of steam soon. Tulsa has lost six straight home games to SMU but this looks like a good time to turn the tables. My selection is a 10* play on Tulsa Golden Hurricane. |
02-01-18 | Golden Knights v. Jets -120 | Top | 3-2 | Loss | -120 | 11 h 56 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NHL PLAY OF THE DAY The Vegas Golden Knights scored three goals in 53 seconds within the final two minutes to defeat Calgary 4-2 on Tuesday, but I think they'll come up short here at Winnipeg Thursday night. The Jets are a stunning 18-3-1 home at Bell MTS Centre on the season and took down the Lightning in a 3-1 victory in their first game back from the All Star break. The home team have won the previous two meetings and I see no reason to not expect that trend to continue. My selection is a 10* play on Winnipeg Jets. |
02-01-18 | Canadiens v. Hurricanes -145 | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 10 h 0 m | Show
NHL 3-PACK The Carolina Hurricanes have won eight straight when taking on a team with a losing record, and I think we're getting a reasonable price on the Canes here when they host the Montreal Canadiens Thursday night. The Habs have won just two of their last eight games overall and one of their last seven on the road. Carolina won the last meeting 6-5 at Montreal just before the All Star break to make it a perfect 3-0 run in the series and we can note that Montreal is just 4-11 when trying to avenge a home loss this season. My selection is an 8* play on Carolina Hurricanes. |
02-01-18 | Raptors -3.5 v. Wizards | Top | 119-122 | Loss | -108 | 9 h 9 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* RAPTORS @ WIZARDS BOOKIE BREAKER The Washington Wizards are coming off back-to-back triumphs since losing their All-Star point guard John Wall to a knee injury for up to two months and ended Oklahoma City's eight-game winning streak Tuesday night with a 102-96 victory. Let down spot here though, and I don't think they got what it takes to compete with Toronto without Wall. We can also note that the Raptors are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings and the road team is 4-1 ATS in the last five in the series. My selection is a 10* play on Toronto Raptors. |
02-01-18 | College of Charleston v. Northeastern -5 | 69-64 | Loss | -104 | 17 h 44 m | Show
CBB 3-PACK The Northeastern Huskies will be looking to bounce back from a 68-67 loss at Drexel, and they're 8-1 SU (5-1 ATS in lined games) home at Matthews Arena. Their only home loss came Jan. 2 in a one-point defeat against Hofstra. Here they'll be seeking revenge for an 82-66 loss at Charleston back in January and they're 5-1 ATS when avenging a road loss vs. an opponent. My selection is an 8* play on Northeastern Huskies. |
02-01-18 | Creighton v. Villanova -12.5 | 78-98 | Win | 100 | 16 h 15 m | Show
CBB 3-PACK The Villanova Wildcats are 14-7 ATS on the season (favored in all games) and here they'll take on a Creighton Bluejays side that is just 1-5 ATS as an underdog. Creighton is coming off triumphs against bottom-feeders St. John's and Georgetown, but this is a huge step up in competition and Villanova has won six straight meetings, five of which were double-digit victories. My selection is an 8* play on Villanova Wildcats. |
01-31-18 | Bulls +7.5 v. Blazers | Top | 108-124 | Loss | -110 | 24 h 2 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NBA ATS ANNIHILATOR (SUPER LATE) The Chicago Bulls have dropped four straight and five or their last six, but they're a solid 23-16 ATS as an underdog this season. Portland won the last meeting 124-120 in OT at Chicago on New Years Day and the Bulls are 15-10 ATS when seeking revenge for a loss vs. an opponent. Road team is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings and we can note that Portland will play on no rest after taking on the Clippers at LA late Tuesday night. My selection is a 10* play on Chicago Bulls. |
01-31-18 | Virginia Tech v. Boston College +2.5 | Top | 85-80 | Loss | -102 | 20 h 59 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (CBB) The Boston College Eagles will be desperate for a victory, coming off back-to-back losses at Louisville and Syracuse. They're still 11-1 SU (5-2 ATS) home at Silvio Conte Forum though (beating both Duke and FSU) and catching Virginia Tech at a good time tonight with the visitors in a let down spot coming off back-to-back upset wins against UNC and Notre Dame. The Hokies are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games vs. a team with a winning % above .600, the Eagles are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. BC is 11-2 ATS in the last 13 meetings. My selection is a 10* play on Boston College Eagles. |
01-31-18 | Manchester United v. Tottenham Hotspur UNDER 2.5 | Top | 0-2 | Win | 100 | 13 h 30 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* PREMIER LEAGUE PUNISHER (TOTAL) Manchester United have had an exceptional start to 2018 with five straight victories no goals conceded. I think their stellar defensive play continues here when they visit Tottenham on Wednesday. Spurs are coming off back-to-back 1-1 draws and they've conceded just nine goals in 12 home games in the Premier League this season. Man U won the first meeting of the season 1-0, and goals are likely to be scarce this time around as well. My selection is a 10* play on Under. |
01-30-18 | Avalanche -105 v. Canucks | Top | 3-4 | Loss | -105 | 14 h 53 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* LATE NIGHT NHL POWER PLAY (50% OFF) The Colorado Avalanche had won 10 straight before dropping their last two games leading up to the All Star break. They'll be eager to go on another run to remain in the playoff picture when they visit the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday. The Nucks lost for the third time in four games as they were shut out by the Sabres at home Thursday night. The Canucks are 3-15 in their last 18 home games vs. a team with a losing road record and the road team is 6-2 in the last eight head-to-head meetings with the Avs. My selection is a 10* play on Colorado Avalanche. |

01-30-18 | Warriors v. Jazz UNDER 218 | 99-129 | Loss | -115 | 21 h 57 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Golden State Warriors are aiming for their 15th win in 16 road games when they visit the Utah Jazz on Tuesday. They'll have their work cut out for them though facing a Utah side that is allowing only 98.3 ppg home at Vivint Smart Home Arena, and I think we'll see a low-scoring contest. Warriors' Steph Curry exploded for a season-high 49 points in a 109-105 win over the Eastern Conference-leading Boston Celtics on Saturday, but Utah has a player capable of slowing him down in Ricky Rubio who held Raptors All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry to 2-of-14 from the field in a 97-93 win over Toronto Friday night. Under is 7-2 in Warriors last nine road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600, under is 5-2 in Jazz last seven home games. Under is 25-10-2 in the last 37 meetings overall and 11-5-1 in the last 17 meetings in Utah. My selection is an 8* play on Under. |
01-30-18 | Thunder -145 v. Wizards | 96-102 | Loss | -145 | 19 h 58 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Washington Wizards closed out a five-game road trip with a 129-104 triumph at Atlanta, but they're still just 2-4 SU through their last six games and 2-9 ATS in their last 11. The Wizards are just terrible on the defensive end of the court and here they'll host an Oklahoma City Thunder side that is riding a six-game winning streak and has averaged 122.5 points over its last six games. OKC won the last meeting 121-112 on January 25 and I don't see the reeling Wizards being able to slow down the red hot Thunder tonight either. We can also note that Washington might be without All-Star point guard John Wall (knee) for a second straight game. Thunder are 6-2 ATS in their last eight road games, Wizards are 0-5 ATS in their last five home games. Over is 5-0 in Thunder last five overall, over is 4-1 in Wizards last five overall. My selection is an 8* play on OKC Thunder. |
01-30-18 | Thunder v. Wizards OVER 219 | Top | 96-102 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 58 m | Show |
NBA 3-PACK The Washington Wizards closed out a five-game road trip with a 129-104 triumph at Atlanta, but they're still just 2-4 SU through their last six games and 2-9 ATS in their last 11. 01-30-18 | Crystal Palace v. West Ham United | Top | 1-1 | Push | 0 | 6 h 14 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* PREMIER LEAGUE PUNISHER West Ham United are unbeaten in their last five Premier League matches against Crystal Palace, winning three and drawing two. They took a 2-0 loss at Wigan in the FA Cup a couple of days ago but are undefeated through their last five in the league, winning two and drawing three. Here they'll host a Crystal Palace side that has lost each of its last two on the road, getting outscored 6-2 in the process. Terrific price on the home side for a draw-no-bet pick here. My selection is a 10* play on West Ham United PK. |
01-29-18 | Celtics +2 v. Nuggets | Top | 111-110 | Win | 100 | 24 h 55 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NBA BOOKIE BREAKER The Denver Nuggets are always dangerous home at Pepsi Center, but I think they'll come up short when they host the Boston Celtics Monday night. Boston has dropped five of its last six games despite leading most of the night at the defending champion Warriors before falling just short in a 109-105 loss on Saturday. This will mark the finale of a three-game road swing and the Celtics are perfect 2-0 after playing three consecutive road games this season and 15-8 ATS overall on the road. Denver is in a let down spot coming off three straight victories and just 1-5-1 ATS in its last seven games. My selection is a 10* play on Boston Celtics. |
01-29-18 | Nebraska +3.5 v. Wisconsin | Top | 74-63 | Win | 100 | 10 h 27 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* CBB NO-BRAINER The 16-8 Nebraska Cornhuskers are coming off a 98-84 triumph over Iowa, and I think they'll give Wisconsin (10-12) all it can handle here at Kohl Center Monday night. Note that Nebraska is 6-0 ATS in its last six road games and 7-0 ATS in its last seven games following a straight up win giving us our perfect 13-0 angle. Wisconsin has lost five of its last six, including a 63-59 loss at Nebraska on January 9. Its offense is averaging just 62.4 points over the last five games while the Cornhuskers have held opponents to just 63.4 points on average over their last five. This is a no-brainer; give me the points on the visitors. My selection is a 10* play on Nebraska Cornhuskers. |
01-29-18 | Wolves v. Hawks OVER 214.5 | 100-105 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 15 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Minnesota Timberwolves had played four straight overs prior to a lower scoring 111-97 win over Brooklyn their last time out. Jimmy Butler had missed four games with right knee soreness but was back with 21 points (despite making just 4 of 14 shots from the floor), six rebounds and five assists against the Nets. I expect to see plenty of points for both sides when the Wolves visit the Atlanta Hawks Monday night. Atlanta took a 129-104 beating by the Wizards on Saturday and has allowed an average of 119.3 points during a three-game slide. Over is 4-1 in the last five head-to-head meetings in Atlanta. My selection is an 8* play on Over. |
01-29-18 | Hornets v. Pacers -140 | 96-105 | Win | 100 | 11 h 46 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Indiana Pacers look like a solid home favorite when they host the Charlotte Hornets Monday night. Charlotte took a 95-91 loss at Miami its last time out, despite holding a 15-point lead at one point. The Hornets are just 6-14 SU (7-9-4 ATS) away from home this season and the home team took each of the four meetings in this series last season, with Indiana winning its two home games by an average of 18.5 points. The Pacers trailed by as much as 21 points late in the first half against Orlando on Saturday but battled back to record a 114-112 victory and make it three wins in their last four games. "This team just continues to fight. Even when they are down, they dig down deeper," Pacers coach Nate McMillan said. "They find a way to fight back. We came out soft. The challenge is get our head heads up and go out and be us. We said we can win this game. They continued to work themselves back in the game." The Pacers are 11-1 ATS in their last 12 Monday games and I expect a strong start to the the week once again for Indiana. My selection is an 8* play on Indiana Pacers. |
01-28-18 | Connecticut +6.5 v. Temple | Top | 57-85 | Loss | -105 | 16 h 1 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* CBB BOOKIE BREAKER The UConn Huskies are coming off a 63-52 upset victory as a 6-point underdog against SMU. I think they look good to record another upset when they visit the Temple Owls on Saturday. Temple shot a season-low 29.6 percent and turned the ball over 20 times when it fell 75-42 at Cincinnati its last time out. The Owls are only 1-9-1 ATS in their last 11 home games vs. a team with a losing road record and Connecticut has won the last three games in the series, including 64-63 here at Liacouras Center last season. My selection is a 10* play on Connecticut Huskies. |
01-28-18 | Lakers +10 v. Raptors | Top | 111-123 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 54 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NBA BOOKIE BREAKER The LA Lakers are coming off four straight wins and they're 8-2 SU and ATS through their last 10. Here they'll visit a Raptors side that has failed to cover the spread in three straight games home at Air Canada Centre, and I think the visitors are spotted way too many points to pass up on in this contest. LA has played terrific D lately and allowed an average of only 100.8 points - nearly nine below its season average - during the current winning streak. "You kind of either fold or you figure it out," coach Luke Walton said of his squad. "Our guys have seemed to figure it out, for now at least." Take the points on the Lakeshow as their D will keep them in this game. My selection is a 10* play on LA Lakers. |
01-28-18 | Lakers v. Raptors UNDER 218 | 111-123 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 29 m | Show
NBA 5-PACK The LA Lakers are coming off four straight wins and they're 8-2 SU and ATS through their last 10. "Our guys have seemed to figure it out, for now at least." Under is 4-1 in Raptors last five overall and 7-1 in their last eight home games vs. a team with a losing road record. Under is 4-1 in Lakers last five road games and 5-1 in their last six vs. a team with a winning straight up record. My selection is an 8* play on Under. |
01-28-18 | Clippers v. Pelicans -118 | 112-103 | Loss | -118 | 9 h 28 m | Show
NBA 5-PACK The New Orleans Pelicans have won four straight and seven of their last eight, the most recent a 115-113 triumph over Houston. DeMarcus Cousins went down with a torn Achilles tendon in that game and will most likely miss the rest of the season, but I expect the rest of the team to rally and step up their game tonight. The Pels defeated the Clippers 111-103 here at Smoothie King Center back in November and the Clippers had lost three straight prior to a 109-100 win at Memphis on Friday. Over is 7-1 in Clippers last eight road games. Over is 14-3 in Pelicans last 17 home games. Over is 15-7 in the last 22 meetings at New Orleans. My selection is an 8* play on New Orleans Pelicans. |
01-28-18 | Clippers v. Pelicans OVER 227 | 112-103 | Loss | -115 | 9 h 28 m | Show
NBA 5-PACK The New Orleans Pelicans have won four straight and seven of their last eight, the most recent a 115-113 triumph over Houston. 01-28-18 | Bucks -120 v. Bulls | 110-96 | Win | 100 | 15 h 25 m | Show
EARLY NBA - BUCKS @ BULLS The Milwaukee Bucks have won back-to-back games since former coach Jason Kidd was dismissed while the Chicago Bulls enter this game on a three-game slide. "That's what we're getting back to, just having fun," forward Khris Middleton told reporters after the Bucks' 116-91 victory over the Brooklyn Nets Friday night. Giannis Antetokounmpo had missed the previous two games with right knee soreness but finished Friday's victory with 41 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and two blocks. "I felt like me today," Antetokounmpo said. "Those eight days they helped me a lot. I was able to get energized, get my confidence up, feel a little bit stronger. But I felt lost, I definitely felt lost, because this is what I love to do is play games." I expect Milwaukee to roll to another triumph here as it is 5-1-1 ATS in its last seven road games vs. a team with a losing home record and the road team is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings in the series. My selection is an 8* play on Milwaukee Bucks. |
01-28-18 | East Carolina +21 v. SMU | 61-86 | Loss | -105 | 6 h 35 m | Show
EARLY ECU @ SMU BANKROLL BUILDER The SMU Mustangs are just 1-5 ATS here in January while the East Carolina Pirates are 5-1 ATS. We can also note SMU lost Jarrey Foster (knee) and Everett Ray (foot) to season-ending injuries earlier in the week and shot just 28.1 percent from the floor in the 63-52 loss to Connecticut on Thursday. East Carolina is coming off an eight-day rest and I expect to see good intensity from the visitors. My selection is an 8* play on East Carolina Pirates. |
01-28-18 | East Carolina v. SMU UNDER 132.5 | 61-86 | Loss | -105 | 2 h 24 m | Show
CBB SUBSCRIBERS ONLY The SMU Mustangs are just 1-5 ATS so far this month while the East Carolina Pirates are 5-1 ATS. Under is 4-0 in Mustangs last four home games. My selection is an 8* play on Under. |
01-28-18 | Villanova v. Marquette +8 | 85-82 | Win | 100 | 1 h 29 m | Show
VILLANOVA @ MARQUETTE MONEYMAKER The Marquette Golden Eagles lost by only 10 as a 16-point underdog at Villanova on Jan. 6. They took an 89-70 beating at Xavier their last time out but enter Sunday 5-1 ATS in their last six games following a straight up loss. I would not be surprised to see the Wildcats come out flat here after covering massive spreads three games in a row (winning by an average of 24 points), particularly as they've lost guard Phil Booth indefinitely after the redshirt junior broke his hand during Tuesday's win over Providence. My selection is an 8* play on Marquette. |
01-27-18 | Mavs v. Nuggets -7.5 | 89-91 | Loss | -110 | 14 h 58 m | Show
NBA HARDWOOD HAMMER The Mavericks took a 107-93 beating at home against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night and flew straight to Denver, where the well-rested Nuggets waited tonight. The Nuggets have had an extra day of rest since a 130-118 pounding of the Knicks and they're 25-10 ATS in their last 35 games after scoring more than 125 points in their previous game. Denver has won three straight meetings at home and the host is 10-4-1 ATS in the last 15 meetings in the series. My selection is an 8* play on Denver Nuggets. |
01-27-18 | Georgetown v. Creighton -12.5 | Top | 77-85 | Loss | -104 | 18 h 19 m | Show |
GAME OF THE MONTH (CBB) The Creighton Bluejays are a perfect 12-0 SU (8-3 ATS) home at CenturyLink Center Omaha this season, and I expect another big win when they host the Georgetown Hoyas Saturday night. Note that the Bluejays are 3-1 in their own building in this series, each triumph by 13 or more points, and they defeated Georgetown 90-66 on the road on January 6. The Hoyas have dropped three of their last four (0-3 ATS in the losses) following a 74-73 home loss to DePaul who who entered the game just 1-6 in league play. Creighton meanwhile will be amped up to play in front of the home crowd after back-to-back games on the road, the most recent a 68-63 victory at St. John's. Creighton is 13-4 ATS as a home favorite of 12.5 or more points through the last three seasons (4-1 ATS this season). My CBB Game of the Month is a 10* play on Creighton Bluejays. |
01-27-18 | Colorado +10.5 v. Arizona State | 66-80 | Loss | -110 | 13 h 35 m | Show
CBB BANKROLL BUILDER The Arizona State Sun Devils fell 80-77 in OT as an 8-point home favorite against Utah their last time out, and I think they're asked to cover too many points here when they host the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday. Note that Sun Devils are 1-8-2 ATS in their last 11 in Pac-12 play and 0-6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall. Colorado has been competitive lately covering the spread in three of its last four and six of its last eight. The Buffaloes actually outshot and outrebounded No. 12 Arizona despite losing 80-71 their last time out (still covered the 13-point spread), and I expect them to keep this a close game. My selection is an 8* play on Colorado Buffaloes. |
01-27-18 | Wizards v. Hawks +5.5 | Top | 129-104 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 45 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NBA BOOKIE BREAKER The Atlanta Hawks lost a 121-110 decision at Charlotte on Friday night, but they're still in the midst of their best stretch of the season having won four of their last nine games. Atlanta beat the Wizards 113-99 on Dec. 27 and I think it'll stand up well tonight again. Note that the Hawks are 5-0 ATS in their last five games playing on no rest and 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record. The Wizards will finish a 10-night, five-game road trip here at Philips Arena Saturday night and have won only one of the previous four on their journey. The Wizards are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record and 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games overall. My selection is a 10* play on Atlanta Hawks. |
01-26-18 | Lakers v. Bulls UNDER 220.5 | Top | 108-103 | Win | 100 | 15 h 10 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NBA TOTAL BOOKIE BREAKER The Chicago Bulls have been involved in several high-scoring contests lately, but I think the posted total is set too high when they host the LA Lakers here Friday night. Under is 10-3 in the last 13 meetings at United Center. The Lakers are coming off three straight victories and they've really stepped it up on the defensive end lately. Under is 9-1 in Lakers last 10 vs. a team with a losing straight up record and they shot only 21-of-36 from the charity stripe against the Celtics their last time out.  "The message right now is defense," Walton told reporters Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Times. "Everything is defense. Because we're shooting this (percentage) from the free throw line, because we're not doing this -- whatever it is -- we're still able to win games because of our defense." My selection is a 10* play on Under. |
01-25-18 | Blue Jackets -120 v. Coyotes | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 12 h 51 m | Show
NHL 5-PACK The Columbus Blue Jackets have lost three of their last four, but I think they'll head into the All Star break off a win after taking on the Coyotes at Arizona Thursday night. The Coyotes had dropped five straight prior to back-to-back triumphs over the Blues and the Islanders, their first winning streak since November. I would not count on the Yotes to make it three in a row ... Columbus took a 6-3 beating at Western Conference-leading Vegas its last time out and is 8-0 in its last eight games following a loss of three or more goals. We can also note that the Blue Jackets are 5-0 in the last five encounters with Arizona. Under is 7-2 in Blue Jackets last nine overall and 25-10 in Coyotes last 35 overall. My selection is an 8* play on Columbus Blue Jackets. |
01-25-18 | Blue Jackets v. Coyotes UNDER 5.5 | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 12 h 49 m | Show
NHL 5-PACK The Columbus Blue Jackets have lost three of their last four, but I think they'll head into the All Star break off a win after taking on the Coyotes at Arizona Thursday night. My selection is an 8* play on Under. |
01-25-18 | Wizards v. Thunder -5.5 | Top | 112-121 | Win | 100 | 15 h 24 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NBA BASKET BRAWLER The Washington Wizards have dropped three of their last four games and covered the spread in only one of their last nine. They took a 98-75 loss at Dallas on Monday and have now allowed 98 or more points in 18 consecutive games. This will be Washington's fourth straight on the road the Wizards are only 1-5 ATS after playing three consecutive road games this season. I predict another setback when they visit the Thunder at OKC Thursday night. The Thunder have won five in a row and they're 14-0 SU when all five of their normal starters -- Russell Westbrook, Paul George, Carmelo Anthony, Andre Roberson and Steven Adams -- play. Everything suggests a healthy Thunder side for tonight so I expect a solid outing from the hosts. The home team is 7-3-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings and Oklahoma City earned a 126-115 win at home last season. My selection is a 10* play on OKC Thunder. |
01-25-18 | Hurricanes v. Canadiens -125 | 6-5 | Loss | -125 | 10 h 21 m | Show
NHL 5-PACK The Carolina Hurricanes are coming off a 3-1 loss at Pittsburgh and they've lost 10 of 13 after a division game this season. They have lost four of their last five overall and scored only a total of nine goals during that stretch. Here they'll a Montreal side that snapped Colorado's 10-game winning streak with an impressive 4-1 victory on Tuesday. The Habs are 7-1 in the last eight encounters at Bell Centre and netminder Carey Price is 14-7-2 with three shutouts against the Hurricanes. Under is 6-2 in Hurricanes last eight road games. Under is 10-4 in Canadiens last 14 overall. Under is 6-1-5 in the last 12 meetings overall and 19-6-2 in the last 27 meetings in Montreal. My selection is an 8* play on Montreal Canadiens. |
01-25-18 | Hurricanes v. Canadiens UNDER 5.5 | 6-5 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 20 m | Show
NHL 5-PACK The Carolina Hurricanes are coming off a 3-1 loss at Pittsburgh and they've lost 10 of 13 after a division game this season. My selection is an 8* play on Under. |
01-25-18 | Wild v. Penguins -139 | 3-6 | Win | 100 | 10 h 37 m | Show
NHL 5-PACK The Pittsburgh Penguins have heated up here just before the All Star break, entering this matchup as winners of six of their last eight games. The Pens are still out of a playoff spot in the East, and that can't sit right with the reigning Stanley Cup champions. "We want to make sure we finish strong before a few days off," said superstar captain Sidney Crosby, and I for one believe him. Pittsburgh will host a Minnesota side that has won four of its last five overall but lost four of its last five on the road. The Wild have a losing road record for the season giving up 3.52 gpg while the Pens are a solid 16-7-1 at home. My selection is an 8* play on Pittsburgh Penguins. |
01-25-18 | Northeastern v. Hofstra -113 | Top | 81-67 | Loss | -113 | 10 h 6 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* COLLEGE BASKETBALL PLAY OF THE DAY The Hofstra Pride had a three-game winning streak come to an end with a 76-70 loss at Charleston their last time out. They'll be looking to bounce back and finish Northeastern's own undefeated three-game run here, and I think they will deliver the goods in front of the home fans. The Pride have won five straight over Northeastern, the most recent a 71-70 triumph on the road earlier this month. During its last five games, Hofstra has scored an average of 80.6 points per game including a 90-63 victory over Delaware its last time out here at The Mack. My selection is a 10* play on Hofstra. |
01-25-18 | Michigan +9.5 v. Purdue | 88-92 | Win | 100 | 6 h 5 m | Show
SUBSCRIBERS ONLY The Michigan Wolverines are 10-3-1 ATS in their last 14 vs. Big Ten teams, and I think they'll give Purdue all it can handle here Thursday night, just like they did when they lost by just one point earlier this season. The Boilermakers can shoot the three-ball well, but Michigan has a solid perimeter defense. My selection is an 8* play on Michigan Wolverines. |
01-24-18 | Maple Leafs +110 v. Blackhawks | Top | 3-2 | Win | 110 | 9 h 50 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NHL POWER PLAY Two slumping teams will clash at United Center Wednesday night. The Toronto Maple Leafs have lost five of their last six games while the Chicago Blackhawks have lost three straight and four of their last five (all at home). The Blackhawks have been blanked twice and scored only six goals during that stretch, and I think the value is on the visiting Maple Leafs in this contest. Toronto still boasts a winning record despite the recent slide, and the Blackhawks are only 6-15 (-11.6 units) when playing against a team with a winning record this season. My selection is a 10* play on Toronto Maple Leafs. |
01-24-18 | Suns +7.5 v. Pacers | 101-116 | Loss | -109 | 9 h 11 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Phoenix Suns will be seeking to revenge a 120-97 home loss to the Pacers on Jan. 14. They're catching Indiana at a good time here at Bankers Life Fieldhouse Wednesday night with the Pacers just back from a five-game road trip which they concluded with a 94-86 win at San Antonio. Let down spot here, and we can note that the Suns are 6-2 ATS in their last eight road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings at Indiana. Under is 6-0 in Pacers last six overall and 6-1 in Suns last seven overall. Under is 4-0 in the last four meetings. My selection is an 8* play on Phoenix Suns. |
01-24-18 | Suns v. Pacers UNDER 216.5 | 101-116 | Loss | -103 | 9 h 10 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Phoenix Suns will be seeking to revenge a 120-97 home loss to the Pacers on Jan. My selection is an 8* play on Under. |
01-24-18 | Bulls +6 v. 76ers | Top | 101-115 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 9 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NBA BEST BET The Chicago Bulls have covered the spread in six straight games, and I think they'll give the Philadelphia 76ers a tough game here at Wells Fargo Center Wednesday night. Philly is coming off a 105-101 loss as a 3-point favorite at Memphis on Monday and the Sixers are a disastrous 1-8 ATS off an upset loss as a favorite this season. The 76ers are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games vs. a team with a winning % below .400 while the Bulls are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Chicago has covered the spread in five of the last six encounters and has won seven straight in Philadelphia. My selection is a 10* play on Chicago Bulls. |
01-24-18 | Nebraska v. Rutgers -118 | Top | 60-54 | Loss | -118 | 8 h 38 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* CBB BOOKIE BREAKER The Nebraska Cornhuskers are 1-6 on the road this season, and I think they're in for another tough matchup away from home when they visit the Rutgers Scarlet Knights Wednesday night. The Scarlet Knights ended a five-game losing streak in the series when they defeated Nebraska 65-64 last year and the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five encounters. Nebraska is averaging only 63.3 ppg away from home (72.8 ppg season average overall) and the Scarlet Knights are ranked ninth nationally in scoring defense (62.1). Rutgers was held to only 33.3 percent shooting from the floor in a loss at Michigan its last time out, but it defeated Iowa 80-64 its last contest here at Rutgers Athletic Center to improve to 12-5 SU (7-2 ATS) in front of the home town crowd for the season. My selection is a 10* play on Rutgers Scarlet Knights. |
01-24-18 | Chelsea v. Arsenal UNDER 2.5 | Top | 1-2 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 45 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* CARABAO CUP CA$H COW The first leg of this Carabao Cup semi-final tie ended in a 0-0 draw, and I think we'll see another cagey affair when London rivals Arsenal and Chelsea clash at the Emirates Stadium Wednesday night. Arsenal have lost their superstar Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United. They got Henrikh Mkhitaryan (plus cash) in exchange, but he's cup tied for this contest and both Danny Welbeck and Olivier Giroud are out injured, making Arsenal a little light in the offensive area. Chelsea boast a rock solid defense and has conceded only 16 goals in 24 Premier League games on the season. They'll surely sit back and hope to score on the counter, but Arsenal can't afford to get too offensive as a goal conceded would be devastating due to the away goal rule. My selection is a 10* play on Under. |
01-23-18 | Celtics v. Lakers UNDER 209 | 107-108 | Loss | -115 | 14 h 43 m | Show
LATE NIGHT NBA TOTAL The Boston Celtics will be looking to end a three-game skid when they visit the streaking LA Lakers Tuesday night. They've scored 95 points or fewer in four of their last six games and under is 5-2 in Celtics last seven overall. The Lakers are coming off back-to-back triumphs over Indiana and New York and have won six of their last eight overall. They've particularly impressed on the defensive end of the court and had held three straight opponents at home under 90 points prior to Sunday's 127-107 win over the Knicks. We can note that under is 10-2 in Lakers last 12 games after scoring more than 125 points in their previous game and 5-2 in their last seven overall. Under is 4-0 in the last four meetings and the Celtics won the last encounter 107-96 back in November. My selection is an 8* play on Under. |
01-23-18 | Cavs v. Spurs -115 | Top | 102-114 | Win | 100 | 20 h 47 m | Show |
GAME OF THE MONTH (NBA) The Cleveland Cavaliers have dropped five of their last six and won just three times in 12 games since Christmas. They're among the worst defensive teams in the NBA giving up 109.5 ppg and the 148 points surrendered against OKC on Saturday matched the worst in franchise history in a regulation game. Such defending won't keep them in the game here against the best defensive side in the NBA as San Antonio is giving up just 97.5 ppg. The Spurs took a 94-86 loss against Indiana on Sunday but are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games following a straight up loss and 15-5-2 ATS in their last 22 games playing on one days rest. The Cavs are a pathetic 1-10 ATS in their last 11 road games. The Spurs won both of last season's meetings, including a 103-74 triumph here at AT&T Center. My NBA Game of the Month is a 10* play on San Antonio Spurs. |
01-22-18 | Islanders -120 v. Coyotes | Top | 2-3 | Loss | -120 | 13 h 14 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NHL) The New York Islanders are coming off a 7-3 triumph at Chicago on Saturday, their third straight win away from home. "We're an offensive team with a lot of depth in our lineup," center Anthony Beauvillier said after the win. "We can score goals and make plays. It was a good way to start the (three-game) road trip." Here they'll visit the worst home team in the NHL, and I like the Isles to keep on the road. The Coyotes are a pathetic 5-14-3 home in Gila River Arena. They had lost five straight overall prior to a 5-2 win at St. Louis their last time out but are just 6-20 in their last 26 games following a win. New York is just 11-13-1 on the road this season but Arizona is 3-14 in its last 17 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. My selection is a 10* play on New York Islanders. |
01-22-18 | 76ers v. Grizzlies +3.5 | 101-105 | Win | 100 | 12 h 43 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Philadelphia 76ers have won seven of their last eight following consecutive wins over Toronto, Boston and Milwaukee. I would not be surprised to see them come out flat here at Memphis Monday night though. The 76ers focused their attention on the hometown Eagles on Sunday, canceling a scheduled practice in order to take an earlier flight to Memphis. "We're going to enjoy this with the city of Philadelphia," coach Brett Brown announced. "Stuff like this doesn't come around very often. So on behalf of our team, we say, like the rest of the city: Go Eagles." The Grizzlies have won nine straight from Philadelphia dating to December 2012 and took both meetings last season while holding the Sixers to an average of 95 points. Memphis has played well lately here at FedExForum, winning four straight home games straight up and going 5-0-1 ATS in its last six. My selection is an 8* play on Memphis Grizzlies. |
01-22-18 | Bulls +6.5 v. Pelicans | 128-132 | Win | 100 | 12 h 43 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK Both the Chicago Bulls and the New Orleans Pelicans have won four of their last five games overall, but the Pelicans are just 1-4 ATS in their last five at home while the Bulls are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 road games (winning six of the last 10 straight up). Chicago opened a three-game road trip with a 113-97 triumph at Atlanta Saturday night and I think it'll keep this a close game in a relatively low-scoring affair. We can note that the Bulls are 12-3-1 ATS in the last 16 meetings in New Orleans. The Pelicans have scored scored at least 111 points in each of their wins during a 5-2 stretch but the books have over-adjusted and set the total too high for this contest IMO. My selection is an 8* play on Chicago Bulls. |
01-22-18 | Bulls v. Pelicans UNDER 225 | Top | 128-132 | Loss | -103 | 12 h 43 m | Show |
NBA 3-PACK Both the Chicago Bulls and the New Orleans Pelicans have won four of their last five games overall, but the Pelicans are just 1-4 ATS in their last five at home while the Bulls are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 road games (winning six of the last 10 straight up). My selection is a 10* play on Under. |
01-22-18 | Liverpool -1.5 v. Swansea City | Top | 0-1 | Loss | -115 | 7 h 41 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* MONDAY PREMIER LEAGUE MONEYMAKER Liverpool are coming off five straight triumphs, including an impressive 4-3 victory against Man City last week. I don't think they'll have any trouble with Swansea who are parked at the bottom of the table with 35 goals conceded through 23 games. Liverpool have scored the second most goals in the Premier League and five of their last six wins on the road were by a two-goal margin or more. My selection is a 10* play on Liverpool -1.5. |
01-21-18 | Sharks v. Ducks -148 | Top | 6-2 | Loss | -148 | 20 h 38 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NHL POWER PLAY The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim are coming off back-to-back home triumphs over Pittsburgh and LA, and they've won four straight home at Honda Center. I think they'll keep that streak intact with another triumph over San Jose Sharks on Sunday. The Sharks will play on no rest following a 2-1 win over Pittsburgh on Saturday and are 1-4 in their last five games playing on no rest and 5-16 in their last 21 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. My selection is a 10* play on Anaheim Ducks. |
01-21-18 | Pacers v. Spurs -6 | Top | 94-86 | Loss | -105 | 15 h 12 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NBA BOOKIE BREAKER The San Antonio Spurs have traded wins and losses through their last 11 games following an 86-83 setback at Toronto on Friday. They shot just 34.1 percent from the floor in that contest and I think they'll bounce back with a big outing here in front of the home fans. San Antonio has been rock solid home at AT&T Center all season with a 19-2 SU record (15-5-1 ATS). The Spurs are 6-0 ATS in their last six games following a straight up loss and 13-3-1 ATS in their last 17 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. The Indiana Pacers have dropped the last two games at Portland and Los Angeles while scoring just 86 points in each. Such anemic offense won't cut it here against a Spurs team that averages 107.0 ppg in its own building. My selection is a 10* play on San Antonio Spurs. |
01-21-18 | Vikings -145 v. Eagles | 7-38 | Loss | -145 | 10 h 41 m | Show
NFC NO-BRAINER The Minnesota Vikings managed to stun New Orleans 29-24 last week as Stefon Diggs hauled in a 61-yard touchdown catch from quarterback Case Keenum on the final play of the game. During the regular season, the Vikings' defense ranked first in points allowed per game (15.8) and yards given up per game (275.9) and I don't think the Eagles with backup QB Nick Foles will have enough firepower to break them down. The Eagles defense was tremendous against the Falcons last week, but I think the Vikings' offense is a bit underrated. QB Case Keenum doesn't make many mistakes and last week's game winning TD pass will work wonders for his confidence. My selection is an 8* play on Minnesota Vikings. |
01-21-18 | Golden Knights -115 v. Hurricanes | 5-1 | Win | 100 | 17 h 40 m | Show
NHL 3-PACK The Vegas Golden Knights will close out a four-game road trip when they visit the Carolina Hurricanes. They've gone 1-1-1 through the first three games following a 4-3 OT loss at Florida, but I think they'll bounce back with a solid performance today. Carolina has lost four of its last six overall and will play on no rest following a 3-1 triumph at Detroit on Saturday. The Hurricanes are 4-12 in their last 16 vs. Western Conference teams while the Golden Knights are 7-1 in their last eight vs. teams from the East. My selection is an 8* play on Vegas Golden Knights. |
01-21-18 | Nets v. Pistons UNDER 209 | 101-100 | Win | 100 | 8 h 57 m | Show
SUBSCRIBERS ONLY The slumping Detroit Pistons enter Sunday on a four-game losing streak, and I think they're about to run into more trouble here when hosting the Nets. Brooklyn snapped a three-game skid with a 101-95 triumph over Miami its last time out. The Nets are 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a straight up win, 4-0 ATS in their last four road games overall and 13-6 ATS in their last 19 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. They'll be seeking revenge for a 114-80 loss to the Pistons home in Brooklyn on Jan 10. and are a solid 19-11 ATS in revenge spots this season. Under is 25-8-1 in Pistons last 34 games following a straight up loss and 17-8 in Nets last 25 overall. Under is 4-1 in the last five meetings in Detroit. My selection is an 8* play on Under. |
01-21-18 | Jaguars +9.5 v. Patriots | Top | 20-24 | Win | 100 | 112 h 53 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (NFL) - MIKE'S AFC TITLE GAME BEST BET We won with the Jacksonville Jaguars as my NFL Game of the Month when they defeated Pittsburgh outright in the Divisional Playoff, and I'm gonna back them to at the very least cover the spread again here against the New England Patriots in the AFC Title Game. The Pats had little trouble with Tennessee their last time out as Tom Brady was able to exploit Titans linebackers and safeties who had struggled much of the year in coverage, but here they'll face arguably the best defense in the NFL. We can can also note that the Jags feature the top-ranked running game in the league, led by Leonard Fournette who was tremendous in Sunday’s win against Pittsburgh accumulating 109 rushing yards on 24 carries with three scores. The Pats' Tom Brady is 7-0 lifetime against the Jaguars including two playoff victories, but the last encounter was back in 2015 and this Jacksonville team is cut from a different cloth, especially on the defensive side of the ball. The Patriots are 2-6 ATS in their last eight Conference Championships games and while they're likely to win this game outright, I absolutely think they're asked to cover way too many points. My NFL Game of the Week is a 10* play on Jacksonville Jaguars. |
01-21-18 | Flyers v. Capitals -158 | 2-1 | Loss | -158 | 11 h 11 m | Show
NHL 3-PACK The Washington Capitals have lost back-to-back games since their bye week, but I think they'll turn it around here when they host the Philadelphia Flyers Sunday afternoon. "Today, I just didn’t think we had enough guys putting in the real full day’s work," Washington coach Barry Trotz told reporters after a 3-2 home loss to Montreal on Friday, "Like I said, too much cheat and not enough compete in a lot of areas." I expect the Caps to address those issues ahead of this contest. The Flyers will play on no rest following a 3-1 triumph over New Jersey yesterday and they've lost five of the last six encounters at Capital One Arena. My selection is an 8* play on Washington Capitals. |
01-21-18 | Miami-FL v. NC State +1.5 | Top | 86-81 | Loss | -105 | 4 h 43 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* CBB BANKROLL BUILDER The Miami-Florida Hurricanes are coming off back-to-back losses against Duke and Clemson, and this looks like another tough matchup agianst a solid NC State side. The Wolfpack are coming off a 72-63 triumph against Wake Forest on January 18 to improve to 12-1 (5-1 ATS) home in PNC Arena. The Hurricanes have not played since Jan. 15 and this just might be too much rest. "They're playing great and we've got our hands full," Miami coach Jim Larranaga told the Miami Herald ahead of Sunday's game. "They'll certainly be the favorite, playing in front of 19,000 fans. ... It's a real challenge for us." It sure is, and I expect the home town crowd to carry NC State to a victory. My selection is a 10* play on NC State Wolfpack. |
01-21-18 | Tottenham Hotspur -165 v. Southampton | 1-1 | Loss | -165 | 11 h 53 m | Show
PREMIER LEAGUE PUNISHER Southampton are having a terrible season, entering this contest in the relegation zone and winless (5D, 5L) through their last 10 games. Here they'll face a Tottenham side that is 8-1-1 through its last 10 games all competitions included (lone loss during that stretch against Man City) and coming off a 4-0 triumph over Everton. They've won three straight meetings with the Saints, the most recent a 5-2 victory in Boxing Day. My selection is an 8* play on Tottenham. |
01-20-18 | Lightning -108 v. Wild | 2-5 | Loss | -108 | 11 h 23 m | Show
NHL MONEYMAKER The Minnesota Wild are coming off their bye week, and I think they'll struggle with the pace here against a Tampa Bay Lightning side looking to bounce back from a 4-1 loss to Vegas. The Lightning are 21-5 in their last 26 when their opponent scores 2 goals or less in their previous game and the Wild are just 2-9 in their last 11 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of greater than .600. My selection is an 8* play on Tampa Bay Lightning. |
01-20-18 | Warriors -4 v. Rockets | 108-116 | Loss | -107 | 11 h 9 m | Show
WARRIORS @ ROCKETS BEST OF THE WEST The Houston Rockets are coming off a 116-98 win against Minnesota Thursday night. James Harden returned from a hamstring injury that cost him seven games but was not sharp with only points on 3-of-15 shooting in 26 minutes. Here they'll take on the Golden State Warriors who are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings at Toyota Center and defeated the Rockets 124-114 their last visit on January 4. Golden State matched a franchise record with their 14th consecutive road victory on Wednesday, and I don't see the Warriors look past Houston here. My selection is an 8* play on Golden State Warriors. |
01-20-18 | Florida v. Kentucky -3 | Top | 66-64 | Loss | -105 | 20 h 23 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (CBB) The No. 16 Kentucky Wildcats will seek to bounce back from a 76-68 loss at South Carolina. They managed to blow a 14-point second-half and personal fouls (32 to be exact) was the main culprit. They're still perfect 11-0 in their own building and I think they'll make the Florida Gators pay here Saturday night. Florida is coming off an 88-73 rout of Arkansas, but Kentucky has won six of the last seven meetings, the most recent a 76-66 home triumph last year. Kentucky has covered the spread in each of the last four meetings here in Rupp Arena. The Wildcats have played four of the last five on the road and they'll be angry coming off a let down game and eager to put on a show in front of the home fans. My selection is a 10* play on Kentucky Wildcats. |
01-20-18 | Thunder +4 v. Cavs | Top | 148-124 | Win | 100 | 17 h 53 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* THUNDER @ CAVS NBA NO-BRAINER The Cleveland Cavaliers are a mess and had lost four straight before posting a 1-point win over the lowly Orlando Magic on Thursday. They're 1-12 ATS through their last 13 games overall, 3-23 ATS in their last 26 home games vs. a team with a losing road record and 5-15-1 ATS in their last 21 games playing on one days rest. The OKC Thunder are coming off three straight triumphs and have had two days rest since a 114-90 drubbing of the Lakers Wednesday night. They're 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games playing on two days rest and will no doubt be ready to take advantage of the slumping Cavs after losing four of the last five in the series. My selection is a 10* play on OKC Thunder. |
01-20-18 | Jets v. Flames -119 | Top | 2-1 | Loss | -119 | 14 h 23 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NHL POWER PLAY Both teams are coming off a bye week, but the Calgary Flames entered the break as arguably the hottest team in the NHL coming off seven consecutive triumphs. They've won five straight meetings with the Jets home at the Saddledome and Winnipeg is coming off back-to-back road losses at Chicago and Minnesota. The Jets are just 1-10 in their last 11 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and I don't see them threatening the red hot Flames here. My selection is a 10* play on Calgary Flames. |
01-20-18 | AFC Bournemouth v. West Ham United +110 | Top | 1-1 | Loss | -100 | 70 h 19 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (SOCCER) West Ham United enter this contest unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions (W3, D3) and they've scored an impressive 15 goals through their last six Premier League contests. Here they'll host a Bournemouth side that has kept just one clean sheet through its last eight and is winless (D3, L4) through its last seven away games in all competitions. The Hammers have played up to their potential since manager David Moyes took over from Slaven Bilic, and I think they'll keep rolling' here. My selection is a 10* play on West Ham United. |
01-20-18 | Manchester United v. Burnley OVER 2.5 | 1-0 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 47 m | Show
PREMIER LEAGUE PUNISHER (TOTAL) Burnley and Manchester United played a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford a couple of weeks ago. I think we'll see plenty of goals again when the teams clash on Turf Moor this Saturday. Burnley have lost four of their last six games and conceded a total of 12 goals during that stretch. Man United will no doubt be throwing everything they got forward in their bid to catch Man City at the top of the table, not only for points but also goal differential. Manchester United's road games have seen an average of 2.9 gpg, and I think we'll see at least three goals in this contest. My selection is an 8* play on Over. |
01-19-18 | Suns v. Nuggets -8.5 | 108-100 | Loss | -107 | 19 h 57 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Phoenix Suns have dropped five of their last six SU and they're just 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight games overall. Tonight they'll visit the Denver Nuggets who are 7-0 ATS in the last seven meetings in the series and defeated Phoenix 134-11 here at Pepsi Center earlier this month. Denver is coming off a 109-104 loss at LA Clippers and the building will be rocking as the crowd help their Nuggets bounce back from that defeat. The Nuggets are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 Friday night games while the Suns are 2-6 ATS in their last eight Friday games. Phoenix took a 118-11 loss at Portland its last time out and allowed the Trail Blazers to shoot 50.5 percent from the field and 48.6 percent from 3-point range. Denver is averaging 109.5 ppg home at Pepsi Center (compared to 106.1 ppg season average overall) and I expect the home team to punish this weak Phoenix D and win by double digits. My selection is an 8* play on Denver Nuggets. |
01-19-18 | Illinois v. Wisconsin -4 | 50-75 | Win | 100 | 11 h 18 m | Show
CBB 3-PACK The Wisconsin Badgers are desperate for a win after three straight setbacks. This looks like a great spot to end the skid though as they host the Illinois Fighting Illini who enter this contest on a four-game losing streak. Wisconsin has held four straight opponents to 64 points or fewer before giving up 78 at Purdue its last time out, but Illinois has yet to win on the road and is averaging only 70.3 ppg away from home compared to a 78.1 ppg average overall. Illinois is 0-6 in Big Ten action and has lost 11 straight meetings with the Badgers. Under is 24-7 in Fighting Illini last 31 overall. Under is 4-0-1 in Badgers last five overall. Under is 4-0 in the last four meetings. My selection is an 8* play on Wisconsin Badgers. |
01-19-18 | Illinois v. Wisconsin UNDER 136 | 50-75 | Win | 100 | 11 h 18 m | Show
CBB 3-PACK The Wisconsin Badgers are desperate for a win after three straight setbacks. My selection is an 8* play on Under. |
01-19-18 | Wizards v. Pistons +1.5 | 122-112 | Loss | -109 | 18 h 58 m | Show
NBA 3-PACK The Detroit Pistons have won only two of their last eight games, but they're 4-2 ATS through the last four and held the Raptors close at Toronto on Wednesday. They're 5-1 ATS in their last six games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and look good to pick up the W here against a Washington side that has failed to cover the spread in seven straight games. Washington is 8-22 ATS as a favorite this season. Detroit is 14-7 ATS as and underdog. The Wizards are allowing an average of 114.3 points during a six-game stretch and here they'll face a Pistons side looking to avenge a 109-91 beating it took at Washington back in December. The Pistons are 13-6 ATS in revenge spots this season. My selection is an 8* play on Detroit Pistons. |
01-19-18 | Golden Knights -102 v. Panthers | Top | 3-4 | Loss | -102 | 12 h 41 m | Show |
TOP RATED 10* NHL POWER PLAY The Vegas Golden Knights are coming off an impressive 4-1 victory at NHL-best Tampa Bay on Thursday. They're 4-1 in their last five games playing on no rest and I think they'll keep rolling when they visit the Florida Panthers here Friday night. Florida is just 1-3-1 through its last five games and it hasn't played a game since last Friday's 4-2 loss to the Calgary Flames. Teams seem to struggle coming off a bye week, and I expect that to be the case for the Panthers as well. My selection is a 10* play on Vegas Golden Knights. |
