12-13-18 | Chargers +3.5 v. Chiefs | Top | 29-28 | Win | 100 | 11 h 3 m | Show |
San Diego at Kansas City 8:20 ET Chargers (+) over Chiefs- Over the years we have had numerous opportunities make money in big games with the Chargers and they always seem to have fallen short. At 10-3 Los Angeles (Don't I mean San Diego) has become a formidable for for the AFC leading Chiefs. Kansas City is undefeated at home at 6-0 but just 3-3 ATS while the Chargers are 5- straight and AATS on the road. Although LA is 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings the road team is 6-1 ATS and it is time for Philip Rivers take up when it counts and show the young phenom Mahomes what a veteran can do. Take the CHARGERS! |
12-10-18 | Vikings +3 v. Seahawks | Top | 7-21 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 3 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' MNF 'Highest-Rated' Winner Minnesota at Seattle 8:15 ET Vikings (+) over Seahawks- A month ago the Seahawks appeared 'dead in the water' as they were under .500 at 4-5, but, they have managed to win their last three games to put themselves back in the playoff hunt. Even with their loss last night the Rams have the division clinched and Seattle is scraping for a Wild Card spot. At 6-5 Minnesota has a half-game lead over Philadelphia, Washington and Carolina and have alternated wins and losses the last five games. The Vikings have struggled against 'better' competition as they are 1-7 ATS in their last eight against teams with winning records. Seattle has won the last four meetings but Russell Wilson is trowing for a career low 226 yards a game. Take MINNESOTA! |
12-09-18 | Rams v. Bears +3 | Top | 6-15 | Win | 100 | 33 h 40 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' Games of Year (8-1 89%) L.A. Rams at Chicago 8:20 ET Bears (+) over Rams- A month ago the Rams were dropped for the ranks of the unbeaten by New Orleans and everybody decided that the Saints were the best team in the NFC. Well, three wins latter and Los Angeles is atop the NFC and has clinched the NFC West Division crown for the second straight year. Last week Chicago mounted a second half comeback against in New York but fell in overtime 30-27 to the Giants with Chase Daniels at the helm ending a five-game win streak. It appears Mitch Trubisky will be back running the Bears offense and will be opposed by Jared Goff. With the Rams having already clinched I believe that that believe they will be totally focused but I think not. Important game of Chicago who are 6-2 ATS against the rams in the last eight meetings and they are 6-0-1 ATS at home against a team with a winning record while LA is 0-3-1 ATS against teams with winning records. Take CHICAGO! |
12-09-18 | Steelers -9.5 v. Raiders | 21-24 | Loss | -109 | 21 h 30 m | Show
Chip's 'Guaranteed' AFC Heavy Hitter Winner Pittsburgh at Oakland 4:25 ET Steelers (-) over Raiders- Sorry to start this off with a cliché but, For the Steelers 'this is just what the Doctor ordered.' Pittsburgh has dropped their last two contests and had a miracle comeback win against the Jaguars three weeks ago or it would be three. Oakland has also lost their last two but that is to be expected as they are 2-10 and headed for the No. 1 draft pick. Unless, Tomlin has his troops completely 'lay-down' this is little change for the Raiders both SU and ATS. It isn't a lack of effort it is a total lack of talent aside for quarterback Derek Carr. But, Carr is fragile and going down easily and the Oakland receivers need handles on the ball as they drop just about everything. Their defensive secondary compares to the Giants in the inability to cover receivers (who can 'cover' now a days?) and put little pressure on opposing quarterbacks and that spells doom with Big Ben having time to find his talented receivers. Pitt is 4-1 on the road while the Raiders are 1-4 at home. Don't be afraid here, lay it! Take PITTSBURGH! |
12-09-18 | Ravens +7 v. Chiefs | 24-27 | Win | 100 | 19 h 8 m | Show
Baltimore at Kansas City 1:00 ET Ravens (+) over Chiefs- Kansas City may have slowed down 'covering' the spread but they still are on a record setting scoring pace and they be face the NFL's No. 1 defense in the Ravens who surrender just 281 yards per game. The Chiefs are scoring a NFL-best 37 points per game Baltimore's starter Joe Flacco has missed the last three games and rookie Lamar Jackson has taken over a won all three and will start Sunday. With Jackson's fleet feet Baltimore has run for over 200 yards in each game with Jackson making a major contribution from the QB spot. Kansas City is 5-0 SU at home but the road team is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings. Take BALTIMORE! |
12-09-18 | Saints v. Bucs +10 | 28-14 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 31 m | Show
Chip's 'Guaranteed' Vegas Insider (11-3 78%) Winner New Orleans at Tampa Bay 1:00 ET Buccaneers (+) over Saints- Can lightening strike twice for the Buccaneers who opened the season with a 48-40 win over the Saints in New Orleans. After that loss the Saints reeled off 10 straight wins before their 13-10 loss at Dallas where they were shut out in the first half. In the Buc's week one win it was Ryan Fitzpatrick who started at quarterback for the suspended Jameis Winston and threw for 417 yards. 'Fitzmagic' is calling Uber to ride the bench as 'America's Bad-boy' will be back under center. After a four interception and two fumble performance against the Giants a 38-35 loss, Winston has zero turnovers with four TD's in the last two games both wins. The Bucs have won the last two meetings and know they can win here. Take TAMPA BAY! |
12-09-18 | Giants v. Redskins +3 | Top | 40-16 | Loss | -110 | 18 h 22 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' NFC Megabucks Winner New York Giants at Washington 1:00 ET Redskins (+) over Giants- A few short weeks ago the Redskins had a two-game lead and were running away with the NFC East and now after three straight losses and a plethora of injuries that are and underdog at home to a 4-8 New York Giants team. For Washington the answer is Mark Sanchez who will make his first start since 2015 and the third different quarterback to start for the Redskins in the past four weeks. New York has won 3-of-4 and is off a home overtime win over Chicago. I expect a heavy dose of Adrian Peterson to protect Sanchez's limited knowledge of the offense. This may not be so bad with the porous Giants defensive line and their strong defense putting pressure on Eli Manning how will get nervous feet. The underdog is 11-5 n the last 16 meetings and now without Beckham to Giants drop another notch. Take WASHINGTON! |
12-06-18 | Jaguars +5 v. Titans | 9-30 | Loss | -105 | 11 h 36 m | Show
Jacksonville at Tennessee 8:20 ET Jaguars (+) over Titans- Tennessee at 6-6 is right in the mix tied with three other teams for the final AFC playoff spot trailing Baltimore by 1-game. The Titans were both lucky and good in their 16-point come from behind win over the Jets. The good is that they made a fourth quarter come-back and the lucky is that they were playing the New york Jets. Oddly enough, before Jacksonville went on a 7-game losing streak their only September loss was to the Titans 9-6. Tennessee has an overload of positive trends against the Jaguars including 4-1-1 ATS in the last six meetings and the home team being in weeks 6-0 over the Colts so I have now qualms about coming back with them. Take JACKSONVILLE! |
12-03-18 | Redskins +6 v. Eagles | 13-28 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 5 m | Show
Chip's 'Guaranteed' NFL Power Play Winner Washington at Philadelphia 8:15 Redskins (+) over Eagles- Talk about 'Super Bowl hangovers, usually it takes the reigning Champions four of five weeks to shed the Super Bowl letdown the following season but the Eagles are taking that syndrome to new dept. Philadelphia has lost 8-of-10 ATS and are 0-4 in the NFL. Washington has had to endure a plethora of injuries but have battle through the season and are currently a half-game behind Dallas for the NFL Eastern Division lead. The Redskins are 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings and the Eagles are 0-4 ATS after a straight-up win. Take WASHINGTON! |
12-02-18 | Vikings +5.5 v. Patriots | Top | 10-24 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 9 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' Highest-Rated Megabucks Winner Minnesota New Patriots 4:25 ET Vikings (+) over Patriots- Minnesota was 'our' Highest-Rated' Megabucks 24-17 winner over Green Bay winner last Sunday night as they dominated the Patriots had the semi annual weekend off (played the Jets) and are 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS at home. These two have met five times the last 15 years with the road team going 4-1 ATS. The road has been and will be so much easier for New England who for years has played in the weakest division in football. The Vikings are just starting to rev it up and are putting together a late charge and are the side tonight. Take MINNESOTA! |
12-02-18 | Broncos v. Bengals +5.5 | 24-10 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 37 m | Show
Chip's 'Guaranteed' Vegas Hotline Winner Denver at Cincinnati 1:00 ET Bengals (+) over Broncos- My how fortunes have changed! A month or so ago the Broncos would have been a touchdown underdog but after what has transpired the past six week you are now forced to lay close to a touchdown. Now, I wonder have these teams really moved so far in the opposite directions. Having used Denver (+3) last week over Pittsburgh 24-17 their second winner in a row I can see them not having the same focus this week especially against this dysfunctional group of Bengals. Cincinnati right now is really not sure who their head coach is but neither is worth a lick anyway and together Jackson and Lewis are still one full coach short of competence. How about this the Bengals have lost their last three and are also 0-4 ATS in their last four home games but the underdog is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings. It just figures to be...CINCINNATI! |
12-02-18 | Colts v. Jaguars +5 | 0-6 | Win | 100 | 15 h 26 m | Show
Chip's 'Guaranteed' Vegas Insider (10-3 77%) Winner Indianapolis at Jacksonville 1:00 ET Jaguars (+) over Colts- Who could ask for anything more...A seven game losing streak, your starting quarterback benched, your running back suspended and you're facing a team on a five-game winning streak....it's perfect. If you like ugly and you like funky then you should love this winner. This is the type of winner that will make others sick when they find out that you had the Jags, its the type of game that you keep to yourself because you don't want to be embarrassed. Listen, sitting Blake Bortles is no great loss no matter who the replacement is and this team has been playing without 'Bad Apple Attitude' Fournett for awhile. One tiny factor that might help is the Jacksonville is 6-0-1 ATS in the last seven meetings with the Colts. I'm done...take JACKSONVILLE! |
12-02-18 | Rams v. Lions +10 | 30-16 | Loss | -105 | 15 h 4 m | Show
Chip's 'Guaranteed' Money Game Winner Los Angeles Rams at Detroit 1:00 ET Lions (+) over Rams- Oh, really now, I'm serious I know how bad this team is and how weak their coaching is and they are up against the NFC tough guys in the Rams but there is more going on then that. See personally I believe that on any given day on any God given minute shit happens and Detroit can win here. Maybe playing indoors will be something a team from Los Angeles can't endure or maybe what they saw in the film room has them laughing so hard that they won't take the Lions serious. A few trends to aid 'our' side, the Rams are 0-5-1 ATS after scoring 30 or more points and the home team in this series 5-2 in the last seven meetings. Old time rivals...take DETROIT! |
12-02-18 | Ravens +2.5 v. Falcons | 26-16 | Win | 100 | 15 h 58 m | Show
Chip's 'Guaranteed' AFC Power Play Winner Baltimore at Atlanta 1:00 ET Ravens (+0 over Falcons- The only thing more disappointing then Atlanta's 4-7 record is their 3-8 ATS record as they have yet to recover from blowing a certain 28-3 Super Bowl lead. Baltimore meanwhile is changing quarterbacks as Lamar Jackson has taken over for Joe Flacco while Matt Ryan of the Falcons remains and is having one of his best seasons. Atlanta is on a 3-game slide and are 1-4 ATS in their last five games and injuries have taken their toll. With no running game the Falcons are grounded. Take BALTIMORE! |
11-29-18 | Saints v. Cowboys +8 | Top | 10-13 | Win | 100 | 27 h 60 m | Show |
New Orleans at Dallas 8:20 ET Cowboys (+) over Saints- How long can this go on...no not the Jerry Show in Dallas but show Drew Brees and the Saints have put on since NFL Week 2. That's when the picked-up their first win of the year as 21-18 non-cover win over Cleveland and then nine straight wins nine straight 'covers' including 5-0 SU and ATS on the road. Dallas is another story at 6-5 share the lead in the NFC East and have won three straight with Ezekiel Elliott once again becoming the league's leading rusher (1,074 yards). The Cowboys will need that to keep the ball out of Brees hands (76.4 completions) and possess the ball. Pokes must come up with 'Big D' to win here. Take DALLAS! |
11-26-18 | Titans +4 v. Texans | Top | 17-34 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 60 m | Show |
Tennessee at Houston 8:15 ET Titans (+) over Texans- The Houston Texans are on a franchise high seven-game win streak after dropping their first games this season. This steak has not been as impressive as say the Saints streak because they are just 4-6 ATS overall and just 1-3 ATS at home as they have won four games by three points or less. The Monday night scenario is so one-sided I have to consider it a key factor, Tennessee is 7-0 ATS in their last seven MNF appearances while Houston is 2-10 ATS in their last 12 Monday nighters. Tale TENNESSEE! |
11-25-18 | Packers v. Vikings -3 | Top | 17-24 | Win | 100 | 27 h 28 m | Show |
Green Bay at Minnesota 8:20 ET Vikings (-) over Packers- Do you still believe in Aaron Rogers...I'm not so sure anymore. Yes, he's still great, I see that, but something is different. With Green Bay at 4-5-1 (tie vs Minny) a loss would pretty much make them a playoff after though. Both clubs are off losses with the Vikings quarter Kirk Cousins under fire of late losing 2-of-3 with only five touchdowns and four interceptions. It's time for him to shine for Minnesota in front of a national audience. Green Bay is 0-5 SU on the road and have lost four of six and is 0-4-1 ATS in their last five games on field turf (How 'bout dat!). The home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five games and are the play here. Take MINNESOTA! |
11-25-18 | Steelers v. Broncos +3 | 17-24 | Win | 100 | 21 h 6 m | Show
Pittsburgh at Denver 4:25 ET Broncos (+) over Steelers- It seems that I am often looking to 'fade' Pittsburgh and it's not something that I really look forward to doing but...It all comes down understanding the situation. The Steelers are 12-1-1 in their last 14 road games and have a six-game win streak against the Broncos but were 1-3-1 iATS n the last five (I find that a key factor) and of course 'we' should be a little leery after Denver's comeback win over San Diego. Let's hope it boosters their confidence. Take DENVER! |
11-25-18 | Jaguars v. Bills +3 | 21-24 | Win | 100 | 20 h 58 m | Show
Jacksonville at Buffalo 1:00 ET Bills (+) over Jaguars- To think that these 2017 playoff teams are both 3-7 this season is a surprise to most but more alarming is Jacksonville's six game losing streak and total collapse last week against the Steelers. Buffalo has a bit of an excuse with the injury to their No. 1 drafted quarterback Josh Allen but the Jaguars are still stuck on Blake Bortles and his short coming have limited their offense. Matt Barkley has taken the reins for Buffalo and was 15-25 232 in 41-10 with at the Jets. Not much else other then the underdog is 6-2 ATS in this series and the Jags are 0-4-2 ATS in their last six games overall. Take BUFFALO! |
11-25-18 | Patriots v. Jets +11 | 27-13 | Loss | -128 | 20 h 50 m | Show
New England at New York Jets 1:00 ET Jets (+) over Patriots- The last time we saw the Patriots they were getting throttled by another former coach Tennessee as Mike Vrbal 28-14 was repeat of Patrica's early in the season and they have had two weeks to heels their wounds. New England has been blessed this for two decades of little competition within the AFC Least and once again they get healthy against a week sister the 3-7 Jets who will sit their healthy No. 1 pick 21-year old Sam Darnold for 39 year old veteran Josh McCown. Todd Bowles will be an after though in January but the Jets who have lost four straight should be spirited and ready play home where they are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings. Take the points with the J-E-T-S! |
11-25-18 | Raiders v. Ravens -10.5 | 17-34 | Win | 100 | 18 h 35 m | Show
Oakland at Baltimore 1:00 ET Ravens (-) over Raiders- Rookie Lamar Jackson gets his first start and looks to jump start the ravens offense with starter Joe Falcco sidelined with a hip injury. Baltimore will look to run the ball against Oakland's porous rushing defense allowing 142.3 yards per game. The Raiders lack of offense with weak pass blocking have put Derek Carr in traction, while slew of others have been sideline. Many were shocked when the Raiders defeated the Cardinals last week as many claimed they threatened t their No.1 draft status. Oakland has traded away their most talented players on defense it was Mack and offense it was Cooper and they a e depleted. . Raiders are just that bad and I don't mean very good. Take BALTIMORE! |
11-22-18 | Falcons +13.5 v. Saints | Top | 17-31 | Loss | -120 | 24 h 9 m | Show |
Atlanta at New Orleans 8:20 ET Falcons (+) over Saints- Oh man, this is one of those spots, you know the one where everyone gets 'smart' and takes the weaker team and gets crushed by the 'public' favorite. Since their opening game of the season New Orleans has been a point spread darling going 8-1 ATS and covering numbers in a huge way. The underdog is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings but the Falcons are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games. After the way the Saints took apart Philadelphia last week 48-7 and the way Atlanta blew its game to Dallas they have to move toward the center. Better from the Falcons and less from New Orleans. Take ATLANTA! |
11-19-18 | Chiefs v. Rams -3 | Top | 51-54 | Push | 0 | 10 h 52 m | Show |
Kansas City at L.A. Rams 8:20 ET Rams (-) over Chiefs- Now, this is expected to be the best game of the season as the L.A. Rams the NFL Super Bowl favorites host the AFC's most sensational offense owned by the Kansas City Chiefs. What I didn't expect was the 'public' and the 'wise guys' are both on the same side. And that's not all the majority of professional handicapping services are going on a limb with the Chiefs. It just looks to attractive being able to take points with Kansas City's offense. The adjustment to returning back to play in Los Angeles from Mexico City will be much easier for the Rams than the Chiefs who be will moving from Tee-Pee to Tee-Pee. Take LOS ANGELS RAMS! |
11-18-18 | Vikings v. Bears -2.5 | 20-25 | Win | 100 | 19 h 23 m | Show
Minnesota at Chicago 8:20 ET Vikings (+) over Vikings- The division leading Bears host Minnesota in a 'flex' game that has been moved to Sunday night Prime-time. Most expected Chicago's defense to lead the way but it has been a surprising offense averaging 30 points a game that has been the difference. Still, after missing a pair of games Khalil Mack recorded two sacks in the win over Detroit. The Vikings have had an extra week to prepare as they look to start second half of their schedule here. I don't know how this stat can be true as it seems that when I take the Bears against the Vikings and I get beat, but the facts are Minnesota is 3-12 ATS in their last 15 tripes to Chicago and the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five. Minnesota has been the favorite in almost all of those meetings but now Chicago has the hammer. Take the BEARS! |
11-18-18 | Broncos +7 v. Chargers | 23-22 | Win | 100 | 15 h 22 m | Show
Denver at L.A. Chargers 4:05 ET Broncos (+) over Chargers- Hey, very quietly, maybe because they have played in London and play their home games on a soccer field the Chargers are the No. 2 seed in the AFC behind only Kansas City. Phillip Rivers is now at his best (drafted w/Eli Manning who is done) leading this team to 13 wins in their last 16 games dating back to last season. Denver has dropped their last two contest and split the series with the Chargers last year but are 5-3 ATS in the last eight meetings. After a pair of losses the Broncos will be ready slug it out. Take DENVER! |
11-18-18 | Panthers v. Lions +4.5 | Top | 19-20 | Win | 100 | 20 h 47 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' NFC Power Play Winner Carolina at Detroit 1:00 ET Lions (+) over Panthers- Very few of Bill Belichick's former coaches have been very successful and and Detroit's head coach Matt Patricia looks like another doomed coaches that is in over his head. The lions offense which was one of the best last season is now ranked 23rd while their defense against the Pass is among the worst in the league. Detroit has just four sacks in their current three game losing streak and hosts a Carolina squad that has doubts of their own. The Panthers off their Thursday night beating by Pittsburgh have shown weakness at the corners and that should be enough for Matt Stafford to expose. Take DETROIT! |
11-18-18 | Bucs +2.5 v. Giants | Top | 35-38 | Loss | -101 | 20 h 32 m | Show |
Chip's 'Guaranteed' Money Game Winner Tampa Bay at New York Giants 1:00 ET Buccaneers (+) over Giants- So, the Giants won a game and defeated the Mighty Forty-niners who were on the third string quarterback. Despite what you may think you saw last Monday night New York is a long way for being a competitive team in this league. The Giants have won twice on the road but are a dismal 0-4 SU and ATS at home losing by an average of 12 points per game. Tampa Bay started the season with a win over New Orleans (the Saints only loss) and have realized not matter what the score that Jamis Winston is no the answer and they will be going with Ryan Fitzpatrick who has plenty of experience at Met Life Stadium one of the toughest places to throw the football because of the crosswinds (Phil Simms made the adjustment). Fitzpatrick threw for over 400 yards again last week and will put up enough points against this imposter defense of New York. Take TAMPA BAY! |
11-18-18 | Steelers v. Jaguars +6 | Top | 20-16 | Win | 100 | 19 h 21 m | Show |
Pittsburgh at Jacksonville 1:00 ET Jaguars (+) over Steelers- Granted, Pittsburgh with Ben Roethlisberger leading the way look unstoppable even without the moron Somebody Bell. The Steelers were 1-2-1 and were looking up at the entire division (even the Browns at the time) and have reeled off five straight wins and more importantly 'covers.' Jacksonville is just a shell of themselves without Leonard Fournette who returned to action after missing four games. In last year's playoff game 'Big Ben' threw for 469 yards and five TD passes in the Jaguars 45-42 playoff win as a 7-point dog at Pittsburgh. Jacksonville has lost their last five but with the return of Fournett will look to control the ball and eek out a win. Take JAGUARS! |
11-15-18 | Packers +3 v. Seahawks | 24-27 | Push | 0 | 10 h 59 m | Show
Green Bay at Seattle 8:20 ET Packers (+) over Seahawks- Golly this is an ugly game and it is difficult to make a case for either team. To start with Green Bay will be without wide receiver Randell Cobb and linebacker Adams will be out but Aaron Rogers was able to find Davante Adams twice for scores against Miami last week. Rogers may be limping around but he still performs at the highest level throwing 10 touchdown passes and zero interception in the last five games. Seattle is banded-up as well but the home field is seen as a major advantage here. Green Bay has lost six straight road games (0-4 this season), while the Seahawks have lost their last two at home. Tough call but it's the Packers tonight. Take GREEN BAY! |
11-12-18 | Giants v. 49ers -3 | Top | 27-23 | Loss | -118 | 11 h 32 m | Show |
New York Giants at San Francisco 8:15 ET 49ers (-) over Giants- Two of the NFL's bottom feeders pair up in Santa Clara where they question is can anyone here play quarterback? The Giants of course are stuck with lead foot and slow moving Eli Manning who is on pace to set records in total sacks. San Francisco started the season with what they thought was their 'franchise' quarterback in Jimmy Garoppolo and he went down with a season ending injury and C.J. Beathard came in and is now under concussion protocol. That brings us to Nick Mullens who got his chance and played to a 151.9 passer rating in his debut. Believe it or not the Niners are stronger and in a much better position then New York. Take SAN FRANCISCO! |
11-11-18 | Cowboys +8.5 v. Eagles | 27-20 | Win | 100 | 26 h 33 m | Show
Dallas at Philadelphia 8:20 ET Cowboys (+) over Eagles- The Cowboys may be just one game behind the Eagles in the standings but they are years behind in talent. Dallas put on a horrid display Monday night as they fell 28-14 to Tennessee. Philadelphia has added Golden Tate to their receivers corps while the Cowboys still don't have a No. 1 receiver (or even a No. 2) but they still have Ezekiel Elliot running talent and Dak Prescott who threw for 243 yards against the Titans last week. This is a division contest and Dallas will be ready to play against the Super Bowl champs. Take the points with the COWBOYS! |
11-11-18 | Seahawks v. Rams -9 | 31-36 | Loss | -114 | 21 h 8 m | Show
Seattle at L.A. Rams 4:25 ET Rams (-) over Seahawks- When these two first met five weeks ago 'we' squeaked out a win with the home club Seattle (+7.5) 31-33 as the Rams established offensive dominance totaling 468 yards. This time at home I expect Los Angeles to score even more and with an angry defense that looked vulnerable last week in New Orleans ready to win again. I am just not impressed with Seattle as I doubt they are playoff worthy. LA is 5-1 ATS hosting the last six meetings and the home team is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings. The Rams have averaged 37.5 points against the 'Hawks defense the last two games and look to put up a large number here. Take L.A. RAMS! |
11-11-18 | Patriots v. Titans +7 | 10-34 | Win | 100 | 18 h 18 m | Show
New England at Tennessee 1:00 ET Titans (+) over Patriots- Starting the season 1-2 New England was on everybody's list as a team that was ready for a downfall, but six straight wins have them back in a familiar place at the top of their division. The Patriots have a seven-game win streak against the Titans while Tennessee is 1-10 ATS in their last 11 games after a Monday night encounter. With the healthy return of Marcus Mariota who played to a 119.9 passer rating last week against Dallas the Titans are a different club. With former Patriots coach Mike Vrabel now leading Tennessee the Titans will be well prepared. Take TITANS! |
11-11-18 | Falcons v. Browns +6.5 | 16-28 | Win | 100 | 18 h 48 m | Show
Atlanta at Cleveland 1:00 ET Browns (+) over Falcons- At one point the Browns were everybody's darlings starting the season 2-2-1 but they have reverted to playing at their previous level and have lost their last four. Last week they played their first game under interim coach Gregg Williams and without both Jackson and OC Haley. Meanwhile, Atlanta (4-4) has won three straight and is off a huge win at Washington last week and are back in the playoff hunt although they trail the Saints by 3-games. The Falcons aren't as explosive on offense as in the past as Matt Ryan has just six completions of 20 yards or more. The Browns can run the ball with former Georgia star Nick Chubb and Duke Johnson and with Mayfield's development they can play here. Take CLEVELAND! |
11-11-18 | Saints v. Bengals +6 | Top | 51-14 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 32 m | Show |
New Orleans at Cincinnati 1:00 Bengals (+) over Saints- New Orleans has established themselves as the front runner in the NFL with their impressive win over the previously undefeated L.A. Rams. The Saints (7-1) have won seven in-a-row since an opening day loss to Tampa Bay and are averaging 35 points per game as Drew Brees leads the NFL in completion percentage (76.3) and passer rating (120.6). Cincinnati is off a bye week and will be without A.J. Green who leads the team in receptions and are 3-6-1 ATS with him in the lineup but will have workhorse Joe Mixon running the ball to keep them in the game. After such a huge win and the disappointment of the Dez Bryant injury I can see some letdown while the Bengals (5-3) who trail Pittsburgh (6-2-1) by a game for the division being very focused after a bye week. Take CINCINNATI! |
11-08-18 | Panthers v. Steelers -3.5 | Top | 21-52 | Win | 100 | 28 h 31 m | Show |
Carolina at Pittsburgh 8:20 ET Steelers (-) over Panthers- Three weeks ago the Panthers looked dead in the water as they trailed the Super Champions 17-0 in Philadelphia in the fourth quarter and some how managed to score three TD's for a 21-17 Vegas Hotline win. (Haven't had many of those in NFL lately) Well, since they have dominated Baltimore and Tampa Bay wining the last two at home and now take to the road where they are 1-2 SU and ATS. Although Ben Roethlisberger bitches about playing on Thursday's the Steelers are 3-0-1 ATS. Add that Pittsburgh is 5-0 SU last five and 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings. Carolina is tough against the run ranking 8th but it is the Steelers explosive passing attack that they will have to be concerned with. You should be concerned about Chip's Pac-12 Game of Year (7-0 100%) Saturday winner! Take the STEELERS! |
11-05-18 | Titans v. Cowboys -4.5 | Top | 28-14 | Loss | -114 | 10 h 25 m | Show |
Tennessee at Dallas 8:15 ET Cowboys (-) over Titans- Tennessee and Dallas have identical 3-4 records with the Titans having lost their last three and are off the loss in London two weeks ago. Dallas like so many mediocre clubs plays well at home going 3-0 while being winless (0-4) on the road. The Cowboys like the Titans are off a bye week although they didn't have to travel overseas. Neither quarterback is any thing to write home about and both squads have fine defenses but thenTitans offense is one of the worst in the NFL while the Cowboys at least have Ezekiel Elliot. Take DALLAS! |
11-04-18 | Rams v. Saints +2.5 | 35-45 | Win | 100 | 23 h 59 m | Show
L.A. Rams at New Orleans 4:25 ET Saints over Rams- What a great match-up as the undefeated and NFC Super Bowl Favorite LA Rams come to play the leagues 'hottest' team (how can that be right) the Saints in New Orleans. My first impression had me thinking that the Saints had become so popular that they might actually be in a go 'against' spot. But, then I realize we should be talking about the 8-0 Rams who come in off a shaky win over Green Bay. Last week I posted the Rams as my NFC Game of the Month and as Todd Gurley laid down on the two my 'wet' dream was over. Checking history we find that the home team is 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
11-04-18 | Texans v. Broncos +1.5 | 19-17 | Loss | -103 | 23 h 10 m | Show
Houston at Denver 4:05 ET Broncos (-) over Texans- After starting the season 0-3 most opinions had written the Texans off (and I may as well have been one of (those) but they have professionally rebounded by winning five straight including 'our' huge winner last Thursday defeating Miami 42-23. Denver on the hand has lost six of their last six straight-up but they are 3-0 ATS in their last three. Texas who is 3-1 at home on artificial surface are 1-7 ATS in their last eight games on grass. Broncos ready for a win...take DENVER! |
11-04-18 | Chiefs v. Browns +9 | 37-21 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 29 m | Show
Kansas City at Cleveland 1:00 ET Browns (+) over Chiefs- This is very much the function that 'Less is more...' Cleveland is better off without Hue Jackson and they can have a more positive view of the future. With OC Haley also departed the stress and strife are gone and the attitude and thoughts of winning will come first. Kansas City of course has the most dynamic offense in football but there are shortcomings on the other side of the ball. The Chiefs believe it or not have allowed more yards then they are gaining. Look for a psyched Browns defense to continue creating turnovers and get the cash here. Take CLEVELAND! |
11-04-18 | Lions +6 v. Vikings | Top | 9-24 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 31 m | Show |
Detroit at Minnesota 1:00 ET Lions (+) over Vikings- The in-n-out Lions at 3-4 and still in the thick of the things in the NFC North trailing the Bears (4-3) by just one-game. Detroit is coming off a home loss to Seattle (28-14) while the Vikings lost at home to New Orleans 30-22 after having won three in-a-row. If Minnesota is going to have their way they will do it on the round were the Lions defense is the weakest. But, Matthew Stafford is capable of earning at least a part of that contact and deliver the goods here. Road team is 4-1 ATS in last five...take DETROIT! |
11-04-18 | Steelers v. Ravens -2 | Top | 23-16 | Loss | -103 | 20 h 20 m | Show |
Pittsburgh at Baltimore 1:00 ET Ravens (-) over Steelers- I don't know what going to happen here but this contest caught my eye right of the bat. Not just believe its the Steelers and Ravens but because of the spot these two enter the battle. Pittsburgh has won three straight and at 4-2 lead the AFC North while Baltimore has dropped their last two and have fallen to 4-4. Just with records alone the Ravens are in desperate straits to win this game. Falling 3-game back in the loss column after your season mid-point spells problems for playoff hopes. Note, that Pittsburgh is 1-6-1 ATS in the last eight meetings. Take BALTIMORE! |
10-28-18 | Packers v. Rams -8 | Top | 27-29 | Loss | -103 | 22 h 52 m | Show |
Green Bay at L.A. Rams 4:25 ET Rams (-) over Packers- This game has attracted plenty attention not only because it involves the best team in the league or the best quarterback on the field but because the 'line' is so high. I'm wondering if they are trying to tell us that the Rams are that good or Green Bay heading south. We should realize that both could be true and I do suspect that the Packers are on the down slide. Problems with Rogers are greater then 'they' are willing to admit as he appears at times to be hobbling. Green Bay have the best QB on the field but Los Angeles has the best running back with Todd Gurley leading the NFL with 686 yards on the ground and 14 touchdowns (Rogers only has 12 TD's). I think that the line is excessively high and that gives me thought that the oddsmakers are making it easy for 'us' to take the points. Well, not this time. Take the RAMS! |
10-28-18 | Colts v. Raiders +3.5 | 42-28 | Loss | -118 | 21 h 54 m | Show
Indianapolis at Oakland 4:05 ET Raiders (+) over Colts- The idea that Indianapolis is favored on the road against anyone makes my eyebrows rise. The Colts are 1-3 on the road and are off a huge home win over Buffalo with Andrew Luck throwing for four TD's with no interceptions. The changes for the Raiders continue to happen with six NFL transactions this week. At 1-5 people are starting to ask just how long a leash doe Jon Gruden have...ha its a 10-year $100,000,000 leash. Their have been player grumblings trying to figure out whats 'going on?' But, they have the understanding that it could be them next if they don't do the job. I see Oakland as a motivated hungry club that is playing their third game at home. They are a minus -11 in points scored and allowed per game and yet this game is under field-goal. The Gruden factor here is that he is 7-1 straight-up and ATS at home with added rest and he is 14-6-1 ATS at home against an opponent off a win. Take OAKLAND! |
10-28-18 | Redskins v. Giants +1.5 | 20-13 | Loss | -105 | 18 h 6 m | Show
Washington at New York Giants 1:00 ET Giants (+) over Redskins- The first place Redskins (honest) come to East Rutherford a slight favorite against the 1-6 New York Giants. Big Blue is 0-3 both straight-up and ATS at home while going 2-8 SU and 1-7-2 ATS at home in division games. Washington I would imagine have the advantage as the Giants are off a Monday Night (Backdoor Cover) and have had two defensive starters ship out. We have all seen Eli get pounded week after week but he still gets up and is capable he given room. Dysfunctional comes together this week. Take the GIANTS! |
10-28-18 | Eagles v. Jaguars +3.5 | Top | 24-18 | Loss | -110 | 44 h 4 m | Show |
Philadelphia vs Jacksonville 9:30 ET Jaguars (+) over Eagles- Do any of you guys or gals recall what has happened the previous NFC East Super Bowl Champions the following season. The Giants alone didn't make the playoffs after each of their four Super Bowl wins and the Eagles 'hangover' runs as deep. Okay, enough of these guys falling flat, how about the Jaguars play of late it has been a disgrace. These two met for the NFC title last season and it doesn't look that either of them will make it back to that level. Big news about the Jags their QB and it will be Blake Bortles and the team will respond. Jacksonville has won three in-a-row at Wembley Stadium and this makes four. Take the JAGUARS! |
10-25-18 | Dolphins v. Texans -7 | 23-42 | Win | 100 | 10 h 9 m | Show
Miami at Houston 8:20 ET Texans (-) over Dolphins- Houston who started the season 0-3 have reeled off four straight wins and will host the Dolphins who are off one of their worst performances of the year losing to Detroit 32-21. So, now both clubs have the same record 4-3 and yet the Texans are a stronger favorite then their records should indicate. AN interesting storyline here is about the Dolphins quarterback Brock Osweiler who was signed to be the starting QB for the Texans last season. Things didn't work out and here he is against his former club (One season) and once again with an inferior team. Look for Houston's defense to control the tempo and the final score. Take TEXANS! |
10-22-18 | Giants +4.5 v. Falcons | 20-23 | Win | 100 | 10 h 57 m | Show
New York Giants at Atlanta 8:15 ET Giants (+) over Falcons- It was just six short weeks ago that all the pundits predicted that the Giants would win the NFC East and they are worse now then ever. After winning three games last season it was thought with the drafting of Saquon Barkley and a new coaching scheme that New York would show improvement. Atlanta who has problems of their own ended a 3-game losing streak last week but are just 4-8 at home against New York. The Giants have played one 'stand alone' game on a Thursday and were destroyed by the Eagles. Look for them to show up here. Take NEW YORK! |
10-21-18 | Bengals +7 v. Chiefs | Top | 10-45 | Loss | -140 | 26 h 40 m | Show |
Cincinnati at Kansas City 5:20 ET Bengals (+) over Chiefs- Those 'Dirty-rotten' pieces of garbage, did it to 'us' 'me' again. I frigging' HATE this club as they find ways to lose that can't be anticipated. Yet yes, I am talking about the Cincinnati Bengals am I will have them 'good' here. Kansas City falls into what Wayne and I like to call the 'Bang-Bang) theory. When are team, be it basketball, football or any sport for that matter has it's undefeated streak broken into the season that they struggle to recover emotionally before their next encounter. Therefore more often then not they don't make it especially as a favorite. All the trends say to fade the Bengals but I can't here. Take CINCINNATI! |
10-21-18 | Saints v. Ravens -2.5 | 24-23 | Loss | -120 | 20 h 12 m | Show
New Orleans at Baltimore 4:05 ET Ravens (-) over Saints- New Orleans and Drew Brees have had two weeks to savor their 4-1 record and Brees' personal accomplishments (500 TD passes and NFL total passing yards leader) with every Saint celebrated everywhere in the city. Baltimore meanwhile brings their lunchpail to work everyday and they will be ready. You see Brees have never defeated the Raves as he is 0-4 against this toughest of defenses. Baltimore often plays to the level of their competition as they are 6-1-1 ATS at home against teams with winning records. Take BALTIMORE! |
10-21-18 | Vikings v. Jets +4 | 37-17 | Loss | -115 | 18 h 52 m | Show
Minnesota at New York Jets 1:00 ET Jets over Vikings- Holy Moly as Austin Power might say as the Vikings come up a field goal and a tick favorite over the Jets. Now, New York has improved immensely with rookie quarterback Sam Darnold playing a very conservative game plans. The Jets have shocked a few opponents with a defense that thrives on turnovers that has produced wins over Detroit, Denver and Indianapolis. Minnesota has yet to show their stuff and maybe with Kirk Cousins running the show they never will get it together. The Vikings who have not been very impressive to date is 1-4-1 ARS after a straight-up win. Take J-E-T-S! |
10-21-18 | Panthers +5.5 v. Eagles | 21-17 | Win | 100 | 17 h 49 m | Show
Carolina at Philadelphia 1:00 ET Panthers (+) over Eagles- From what I have seen both through the Pre-season (0-4 ATS) and regular season Philadelphia does not pass the eye test. They are just not in sync as last season and injuries are having an impact. Carolina is about where we expected them to be with an inconsistent offense and an offense that is dependent on a quarterback that is at his best when on the move. One good thing that can be said about 'that' quarterback is that Cam Newton is 19-8 ATS as a dog coming off a loss including 11-2 ATS if getting more +3. Finally, Eagles are 12-18-1 ATS after Thursday games. Take CAROLINA! |
10-21-18 | Patriots v. Bears +3 | Top | 38-31 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 37 m | Show |
New England at Chicago 1:00 ET Bears (+) over Patriots- I love it, I love that way the Bears just folded in Miami in a game that they thought they had won. And that was the problem, once you start thinking about next weeks opponent (New England) you can never get it back. Chicago blew late to the Dolphins because the Patriots were creeping into their minds. (even if not, it could have happened) But, the point should be that the Pat's will have their full attention for a full sixty minutes. New England handed Kansas City their first loss last Sunday night scoring 43 points. Here's the rub, NE is just 3-9-1 ATS after scoring 40 or more points and I have more, The Bears are 10-3 straight-up and 11-2 ATS at home against AFC East off a win (Thank you ML-Playbook). Anyway you slice it the Bears are the 'play.' Take CHICAGO! |
10-21-18 | Titans +7 v. Chargers | 19-20 | Win | 100 | 17 h 22 m | Show
Tennessee vs. L.A. Chargers 9:30 ET at Wembley Stadium, London Titans (+) over Chargers- Don't be afraid here...it's a great spot for the Titans! San Diego (oops, Los Angeles has reeled off three straight wins and were very impressive in last weeks 38-14 trouncing of the Browns while Tennessee was totally humiliated 21-0 by Baltimore and it was not just the score. It was the was the Ravens just man-handled the Titans offensive line surrendering 11 quarterback sacks. The Chargers have to deal with a number of hurts and one of them is Melvin Gordon. Take TENNESSEE! |
10-18-18 | Broncos v. Cardinals +2 | 45-10 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 31 m | Show
Denver at Arizona 8:20 ET Cardinals (+) over Broncos- Right now it seems difficult to figure how the Minnesota Viking won anything last year as both their quarterbacks are now playing with Denver and Arizona respectively. Case Keenum was moved to Denver after leading the Viking to the NFC Championship game while he had replaced the oft injured Sam Bradford who started the year with Arizona. Combined as this season their new clubs are 3-9. Add to the mix former Denver offensive coordinator Mike McCoy now works for Arizona who is last in the NFL in total yards (220.5) and rushing (64.0) while the Broncos are last in rushing defense. Although the Cardinals are 0-3 are home they are 2-1 ATS while Denver is 0-2 both SU and ATS on the road. Take ARIZONA! |
10-15-18 | 49ers +9.5 v. Packers | 30-33 | Win | 100 | 10 h 6 m | Show
San Francisco at Green Bay 5:15 ET 49ers (+) over Packers- The Niners just can't seem to get it right. They were on the correct path trading for Jimmy Garoppolo and adding running back Jerick McKinnon and now they are among eight offensive player that were not able to practice this week. Green Bay is having injury troubles of their own and the biggest concern is about Aaron Rogers knee. Rogers claims he is okay but his performance has shown kinks in play. Somehow, the Niners get it done. Take SAN FRANCISCO! |
10-14-18 | Jaguars v. Cowboys +3.5 | Top | 7-40 | Win | 100 | 23 h 22 m | Show |
Jacksonville at Dallas 4:25 ET Cowboys (+) over Jaguars- The Cowboys have been one of the least impressive teams on offense this season despite having the NFL's leading rusher in Ezekiel Elliott who has 480 ground yards. The obvious problem for Dallas in their quarterbacking and receiving. Dak Prescott has been exposed with his inaccurate throws and must keep drives alive with his legs. Jacksonville has QB issues of their own with Blake Bortles inconsistent play. With Leonard Fournette out once again the Dallas defense (one of the better ones) can stifle the Jaguars offense. Take DALLAS! |
10-14-18 | Rams v. Broncos +7 | 23-20 | Win | 100 | 21 h 28 m | Show
L.A. Rams at Denver 4:25 ET Broncos (+) over Rams- Denver did their thing last week in New York where the Jets our 'Money Game' winner as the Broncos looked pretty inept losing to a rookie quarterback. The Rams are now 5-0 after their 33-31 win over Seattle and come to Denver where they are always tough to deal with. The Broncos are 10-2-1 ATS as home dogs against NFL opponents and they a e 5-1 SU after three straight losses and they are 0-4-1 ATS on the season. They get their first cover here. Take DENVER! |
10-14-18 | Bucs +3.5 v. Falcons | 29-34 | Loss | -120 | 20 h 32 m | Show
Tampa Bay at Atlanta 1:00 ET Buccaneers (+) over Falcons- This is a battle of a pair of 'ugly' clubs that continue to disappoint their backers. Atlanta is 1-11 ATS in their last 12 games dating back to last season and are just 5-13 ATS at home against teams with a losing record. The falcons defense has been hit hard by injuries starting in the preseason and on offense Devonta Freeman is slowed by a nagging foot injury. But, the storyline here is the return to the starting lineup of Jamis Winston for Tampa Bay. The Bucs' future convict quarterback is anxious to play and get to shine against this porous defense. Take TAMPA BAY! |
10-14-18 | Colts +2.5 v. Jets | 34-42 | Loss | -109 | 19 h 23 m | Show
Indianapolis at New York Jets 1:00 ET Colts (+) over Jets- This game between two also-rans comes with a number of trends that support my side so I will use them this week (Ha...sometimes not). To start with the Jets are off a convincing 34-16 home win over Denver while the Colts have dropped their last three. But, the trends are overwhelming in favor of Indianapolis. Indy quarterback Andrew Luck is one of the best 'bounce-back' winners as he is 22-4 ATS off a straight-up and ATS loss including 13-0 SU and 12-1 ATS against teams with losing records. Add that the Jets are 11-29 ATS at home after a straight-up win. Take INDIANAPOLIS! |
10-11-18 | Eagles v. Giants +3 | 34-13 | Loss | -100 | 33 h 5 m | Show
Philadelphia at New York Giants 5:20 ET Giants (+) over Eagles- It appears the 'Super Bowl' hangover has affected the Eagles more harshly then most anticipated as they enter this contest 2-3 and 1-4 ATS. They are off a home loss to Minnesota and have yet to show any kind of run game and with Jay Ajaji sidelined the rest of the year they have signed Jamal Charles. Last week against Carolina, New York scored 30 points for the first since 2015 and have had some clearing of the air confrontations this week and expect more from both the offense and defense. This price is way too low...what the oddsmakers are saying is that this game is a Pick'em on a neutral site. Take NEW YORK! |
10-08-18 | Redskins v. Saints -6 | 19-43 | Win | 100 | 20 h 38 m | Show
Washington at New Orleans 8:15 ET Saints (-) over Redskins- The attention and storyline here will be Drew Brees passing some all-time record that he will continue to break with every attempt. New Orleans at 3-1 has actually under-achieved a bit but seemed to turn the corner in the second half against the ants in New York last week. The Redskins were a huge Megabucks winner for 'us' last week against Green Bay. Washington had two weeks to prepare as they were off their buy week and now must pay indoors where the Saints are at their best. Although the Redskins are 5-1 straight-up and 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings with the Saints favored so strongly here I'll lay it. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
10-07-18 | Cardinals v. 49ers -3 | 28-18 | Loss | -119 | 23 h 17 m | Show
Arizona at San Francisco 4:25 ET 49ers (-) over Cardinals- Arizona is still winless (0-4) but have manged to 'cover' their last two at home while getting points from the Bears and Seahawks. This time they take to the road to play a division rival in San Francisco who have dropped their last two on the road. This will be a matchup of the new and the old as Josh Rozan takes the reins for the Cardinals while veteran C.J. Beathard took over for Garoppolo and threw for a career high 298 yards last week. The Niners are banged-up but have enough to come together at home here. Take SAN FRANCISCO! |
10-07-18 | Rams v. Seahawks +8.5 | Top | 33-31 | Win | 100 | 23 h 49 m | Show |
L.A. Rams at Seattle 4:25 ET Seahawks (+) over Rams- I don't know how I can even think of taking this 'side' as I believe the Seahawks are on the downslide while we all realize the Rams are the team to beat. Los Angeles is undefeated 4-0 and 3-1 ATS and have the betting darling from the get-go leading the NFL in scoring averaging 35-points per game. Seattle has put wins together over powerhouses Dallas and Arizona and is just 1-2-1 ATS but have allowed just 30 points in last two contests. Checking past history the Rams are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 meetings in Seattle although they are just 1-6-1 ATS at home against teams with winning records. Still, somehow...take SEAHAWKS! |
10-07-18 | Packers v. Lions +1 | 23-31 | Win | 100 | 20 h 42 m | Show
Green Bay at Detroit 1:00 ET Lions (+) over Packers- I still say there is more to this Rogers injury then we are aware of, otherwise how does this line open with Green Bay favored by -1 against these guys. Detroit is 1-3 and already 1.5 games behind the Pack and a loss here would burry them. The Packers haven't won or covered in two road games and are prided to get beat here and the Lions are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. Matt Stafford will be on a 'personal' mission to win the matchup against Rogers...take DETROIT! |
10-07-18 | Titans v. Bills +5.5 | Top | 12-13 | Win | 100 | 20 h 33 m | Show |
Tennessee at Buffalo 1:00 ET Bills (+) over Titans- Okay, now that the 'public' has jumped on the Tennessee bandwagon it is time to tip the cart. After an opening week loss at Miami the Titans have won three streak including their win over the Super Bowl Champs Philadelphia last week and they come into the Bills den and the are angry. Buffalo has shutout 22-0 ay Green Bay and was humiliated in the process. This remember was a playoff team a season ago and pounded the Vikings three weeks ago. Buffalo is 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a loss. Take them here...take the BILLS! |
10-07-18 | Ravens v. Browns +3 | Top | 9-12 | Win | 110 | 19 h 15 m | Show |
Baltimore at Cleveland 1:00 ET Browns (+) over Ravens- From what I've seen on the field Baltimore has been the most consistent and more professional in their approach to games and play. Cleveland is way improved on the field but still has the same personal running the show and he just doesn't know how to win! This has been a one-sided series with the Ravens winning 18 of the last 20 including 5-0 SU/ATS in the last five meetings, but with new quarterbacking behind No. 1 draft pick Baker Mayfield (the new Brett Favre) the Browns believe that they can turn the tide. Browns might surprise here as they have nothing but this game to look forward to. Take CLEVELAND! |
10-04-18 | Colts +10.5 v. Patriots | 24-38 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 58 m | Show
Indianapolis at New England 8:20 ET Patriots (-) over Colts- My first impulse when I saw this line was 'Oh, Indy will cover that', then realizing there must be a reason the line was double-digits. This one is simple to me...can Andrew Luck throw the ball downfield? Because if he can't throw it they will not survive here as Belichick will swallow up the Colts offense. Is this not this what they do most seasons? The Pats blow a few games early, make a few adjustment and then dominate the opposition especially when they are holding the hammer. NE is 7-0 ATS in their last seven games at home against sub .500 teams. Home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings and finally New England is 7-0 SU and ATS in the last seven meetings. So yep, with all these trends backing the Patriots and the 'public' behind them at over 70% of the action I will digress and take the Colts. Take INDIANAPOLIS! |
10-01-18 | Chiefs v. Broncos +4.5 | Top | 27-23 | Win | 100 | 11 h 1 m | Show |
Kansas City at Denver 8:20 ET Broncos (+) over Chiefs- Yep, what more can I or anyone say about Pat MaHomes! Kansas City has jumped out to a perfect 3-0 SU and ATS scoring 38-42-38 with Mahomes throwing for 10 TD's with no interceptions. Denver opened 2-0 with west coast wins over Oakland and Seattle but took it on the chin 27-14 back east at Baltimore. Now, the Broncos are on familiar grounds where the decibel level is a loud a any NFL stadium but, the Chiefs are 5-0 SU and ATS in the last five meetings and seem invincible right now. But, this is a tough spot for a division team on the road on Monday Night with all the attention of the football world on them. I have got to have...DENVER! |
09-30-18 | Ravens +3 v. Steelers | 26-14 | Win | 100 | 31 h 51 m | Show
Baltimore at Pittsburgh 8:20 ET Ravens (+) over Steelers- It's going to be easy supporting 'our' side tonight as the Ravens have the edge over Pittsburgh in so many categories. To start with despite 'our' Power Play' winner with the Steelers Monday night this team has too many weaknesses starting with the defense and the overall team egos. Although Pittsburgh has won the last three meetings Baltimore is 5-1-1 ATS in the last seven meetings and 3-0-1 ATS in their last four at Pittsburgh. This tells us that these two teams play tight ball games. The more I look at this game the more I like the Ravens to win. Take BALTIMORE! |
09-30-18 | Seahawks v. Cardinals +3.5 | 20-17 | Win | 100 | 27 h 35 m | Show
Seattle at Arizona 4:05 ET Cardinals (+) over Seahawks- Two of the NFC's worst will go at it and as a former friend once told me, ''with the points their going to be a winner'. There are so many things that stand in my way here no in the least is that I am willing to take a quarterback making his first NFL start. That for the most part is a no-no but appears this season has been an exception with the early success of MaHomes, Darnold and Mayfield. Josh Rosen will get his opportunity Sunday for Arizona who need help (0-3) desperately. The Cardinals have the fewest points in the NFL with 20 but they will be up against an Seattle who is now an imposter who talent level has fallen drastic. The 'Red Birds' (hey, they were once in St. Louis) fly here and get their first win. Take ARIZONA! |

09-30-18 | Jets +9 v. Jaguars | 12-31 | Loss | -125 | 24 h 32 m | Show
New York Jets at Jacksonville 1:00 ET Jets (+) over Jaguars- No way do I think that New York and Sam Darold will get the best of the Jaguars defense but there are two sides on the coin. I don't believe that the Jacksonville offense led by Blake Bortles with an injured Leonard Fournette will get the best the Jets defense. The Jags had only 232 yards of offense in the 30-21 victory over New England and New York has had extra time to reflect on their classless performance in their loss to the Browns 10-days ago. Extra days usually help teams prepare but with Bowles running the show it won't make much of a difference. Still. Jags off a win against the Pats and Jets to fly here and get the 'money.' Take the J-E-T-S! |
09-30-18 | Eagles v. Titans +4 | 23-26 | Win | 100 | 23 h 27 m | Show
Philadelphia at Tennessee 1:00 ET Titans (+) over Eagles- Hey, what's goin on here. Tennessee who look like crap under new head coach Mike Vrabel the entire preseason and opening loss to Miami have won their last two and don't really care who their quarterback is. Marcus Mariota is leading the Titans offense witch won last week 9-6 without scoring touchdown although their offense is ranked just 29 amount the 32 teams their defense is No. 4 in points allow at 16.7. The Eagles rank 20th in total yards 341 and are surrendering 255 yards per game passing while Tennessee is 4-0 ATS in last four home games and home team is 4-1 ATS last five meetings. Take TENNESSEE! |
09-30-18 | Bucs +3 v. Bears | Top | 10-48 | Loss | -103 | 23 h 24 m | Show |
Tampa Bay at Chicago 1:00 ET Buccaneers (+) over Bears- I understand the impact of the Bears defense and their power running game but they still have a major weakness and that is their quarterback play. The Chicago offense is limited because of the things Mitchell Trubisky can't do. Tampa Bay on the other hand most likely will go with their veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick with Jamis Winston in the wings. The games has before an air war and here the Bears are out-armed. Buccaneers have thrown for 1,202 yards while Chicago has managed just 534 yards through the air. Chicago has won their last two but the Bucs are 5-0 ATS in their last five against the NFC. Take TAMPA BAY! |
09-27-18 | Vikings +7.5 v. Rams | 31-38 | Win | 100 | 10 h 26 m | Show
Minnesota at L.A. Rams 8:20 ET Vikings (+) over Rams- Well, that was one hell-of-a wake-up call that the Bills laid on Minnesota Sunday jumping out to a 27-0 half-time lead. In the meantime the Rams got no time for bullshit as they just went out and took command against their cross-town rival (really) Chargers leading to their third cover in three games. The Vikings were the NFC favorite when they acquired Kirk Cousins and have started slowly wining just one of three with a tie at Green Bay. I expect Minnesota to be a little more focused this week and play the Rams tough. Although the favorite is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings Minnesota is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings. Take the VIKINGS! |
09-24-18 | Steelers +1 v. Bucs | 30-27 | Win | 100 | 10 h 29 m | Show
Pittsburgh at Tampa Bay 8:15 ET Steelers over Buccaneers- The Steelers who are 0-1-1 are 0-6 ATS in their last six regular season games are struggling in all facets of the game and this has little to do with absence of Le'Veon Bell. The internal problems have been on-going the past two seasons as it appears Coach Mike Tomlin has lost control and full respect of his 'inmates.' Tampa Bay is off to a great start as the players are aware that Ryan Fitzpatrick is a professional and they are all better off if he remains QB after the return of Jamis Winston who is due back in game four. Both teams surrender over 30 points per contest and the Buc's are 5-0 ATS in their last five overall but the visitor is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. Pittsburgh has their backs to the wall and must win here or they can see their season going down the drain. Take the STEELERS! |
09-23-18 | Patriots v. Lions +7 | Top | 10-26 | Win | 100 | 29 h 32 m | Show |
New England at Detroit 8:20 ET Lions (+) over Patriots- You don't have to check this out but I believe that the former Bill Belichik coaches struggle when put up against their mentor. So, from what I have seen out of first coach Hank Patricia's work I question weather he will make it as a head coach. I sort of feel that the only way for the Lions to win is for Belichick to give Patrica his game plan. Although New England has problems of their own, Brady not-withstanding. The Lions showed plenty of life in the second half against the Niners and came close to winning but earned a 'back-door' cover. More of the same tonight...Take DETROIT! |
09-23-18 | Bears v. Cardinals +5.5 | 16-14 | Win | 100 | 25 h 3 m | Show
Chicago at Arizona 4:25 ET Cardinals (+) over Bears- There is no team that has looked worse then Arizona as they have scored just once in two games allowing 58 points. Chicago is a much improved bunch and their defense will cause plenty of issues for most teams including these guys but there are other factors to continue. First, what most don't realize is that these two franchises are rivals that go back to the 40-50's when they both played in Chicago before the Cardinals moved to St. Louis. The Cards were always the step-child in Chicago and even tho they were always a weaker squad they managed to go nose-to-nose with the Bears. Arizona is 3-1 ATS in the last four and get the money here. Take the points with ARIZONA! |
09-23-18 | Chargers +7 v. Rams | 23-35 | Loss | -110 | 25 h 33 m | Show
L.A. Chargers at L.A. Rams 4:05 ET Chargers (+) over Rams- The battle for Los Angeles may have more gang history then do these two rivals. Neither of these clubs root grow very deep although the Rams have a history going back to the 1950's when the moved out from Cleveland. This years versions will have contrast as the Rams defense is what an\makes them go and for the Chargers it is All-pro veteran Phillip Rivers who still can sling it. The Rams haven surrendered a points since the first half Monday night against the Raiders and have sic straight quarters with a blemish. Just the nature of the matchup has me believing it will be a close encounter. Take the CHARGERS! |
09-23-18 | 49ers +7 v. Chiefs | 27-38 | Loss | -120 | 21 h 21 m | Show
San Francisco at Kansas City 1:00 ET 49ers (+) over Chiefs- There was no question who the most impressive young quarterback was this season until what all witnessed Thursday night which in no way decommissions what Pat Mahomes has done opening with as record setting 10 TD passes in two games with three of the most explosive receivers in the game with led by Tyreek Hill, Kareem Hunt . What we need here is for Jimmy Garoppolo to show he is the player ,any think him to be. Niners are aware they must keep the ball away from the Chiefs offense and will run Matt Breida the NFL's leading rusher against a defense allowing 4.5 yards per rush. Even though the home team is 4-1 ATS in last five it's visitors turn. Take SAN FRANCISCO! |
09-23-18 | Packers v. Redskins +3 | Top | 17-31 | Win | 100 | 21 h 6 m | Show |
Green Bay at Washington 1:00 ET Redskins (+) over Packers- I've been right twice with and against the Redskins and I really like the my side here today. Green Bay was a huge money-maker for the Books last week as the Vikings were driven to the favorite by public and wise guy action both. Of course the Packers have the current Superman in Rogers at quarterback but Washington has veterans of their win that can cut the mustard and Alex Smith is just 20 shy of Rogers total and will be primed to atone for last weeks home loss. The host team is 3-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings. Take WASHINGTON! |
09-20-18 | Jets +3 v. Browns | Top | 17-21 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 2 m | Show |
New York Jets at Cleveland 8:20 ET Jets over Browns- Okay, here we go! Here we have a team that has won once in their last 35 tries (0-1-1) and they are favored against the 1-1 New York Jets. Many were hoping (especially the NFL Network) that the two No.1 picks Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield would have a shootout here but the overall No. 1 pick for the Browns will be taking a seat for veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor who is at just 53% completions while the rookie for the Jets is at 66%. I just don't respect the idea that a winless team (into their third season) is favored and the 'public' is all over them. Take the NEW YORK J-E-T-S! |
09-17-18 | Seahawks v. Bears -4 | 17-24 | Win | 100 | 10 h 11 m | Show
Seattle at Chicago 8:15 ET Bears over Seahawks- The Bears are trying to build through defense as the acquisition of Khalil Mack has them thinking the Monsters of the Midway are back. The Problem for Chicago is that their offense is suspect behind second year QB Mitch Trubisky who faltered down the stretch blowing a 20-point lead. Seattle on the other hand is 1-8 SU and ATS in their last nine including this pre-season and they haven't looked like a Pete Carroll coached team as of yet. Last week Seattle was out-gained by Denver by nearly 100 yards both passing and running. Seahawks are fading and the Bears are rising. Take CHICAGO! |
09-16-18 | Giants v. Cowboys -3 | 13-20 | Win | 100 | 27 h 59 m | Show
New York Giants at Dallas 8:20 ET Cowboys (-) over Giants- For all of you that fell with me last week with the Cowboys might find it difficult to stomach waiting that offense at work. New York is out a tough home loss to Jacksonville as people still await their so-called explosive offense. The Jets scored 31 points in a single quarter against Detroit Monday night and the Giants offense hasn't scored 31 points in a game in three years. To starter with the guy that blinks here is an 0-2 starter and it looks like the Giants have more punch while Dallas has a better defense and that is the key and the difference here. Dak Prescott has faced this defense before with a career high 332 yards passing and three TD passes in their last meeting as Dallas swept the series. Another win here is a good possibility. Take DALLAS! |
09-16-18 | Patriots v. Jaguars +3 | 20-31 | Win | 100 | 23 h 57 m | Show
New England at Jacksonville 4:25 ET Jaguars (+) over Patriots- New England is still searching the waver wires for running backs and nothing seems to phase Tom Brady who continues to roll along with stellar performances game in and out. This week he faces one of the fastest defense in the NFL and the question for Jacksonville of course is the availability of Leonard Fournette who is nursing a hamstring. Belichick always throws a clunker in early in the season lets hope it comes here. Brady is 8-0 lifetime over the Jaguars who have new beaten New England but with Myles Jack harassing a slow footed Pats QB and leading the home team to victory! Take JACKSONVILLE! |
09-16-18 | Dolphins +3 v. Jets | 20-12 | Win | 100 | 20 h 46 m | Show
Miami at New York Jets 1:00 ET Dolphins (+) over Jets- Call now, J-E-T-S Super Bowl tickets are now available...geez one win and against what looks like the worst coached team in the NFL and the tabloids are going nuts. Of course Sam Darnold is a great storyline youngest opening day starter in NFL history throws a pic—six on his first pro attempt and responses like a true champion.going 16 of 21 in a huge 48-17 win at Detroit Monday Night. Some might not realize Ryan Tannehill is 8-1 straight-up in his last nine starts. Take MIAMI! |
09-16-18 | Eagles v. Bucs +3.5 | 21-27 | Win | 100 | 20 h 43 m | Show
Philadelphia at Tampa Bay 1:00 ET Buccaneers (+) over Eagles- After winning with Philadelphia on Thursday I was set to use Tampa Bay in a big way and got twisted around and just posted them as a FREE play. But, not this week. The Eagles were lucky once again to take down the Falcons last week while the Buccaneers with Fitzgerald leading the way they pounded New Orleans in every facet of ply. Now, believe me when I say things are now well in Philly. This team has responded to a mature veteran leading the way and will play with plenty of confidence once again. Take TAMPA BAY! |
09-16-18 | Chiefs v. Steelers -4.5 | Top | 42-37 | Loss | -125 | 20 h 47 m | Show |
Kansas City at Pittsburgh 1:00 ET Steelers (-) over Chiefs- I don't quite understand why the rush to pay against the Steelers. Could be the response of then tie against Cleveland or many be more the absence of 'what's his name.' interceptions and six overall turnovers are the explanation. Pittsburgh has a 14-point lead in the fourth but gave up the ball and came away with the tie, and they will be more then ready against the Chiefs this week. But, ha here comes the Chiefs on the warpath with fearless leader Pat Mahomes who threw for four TD's last week. In a matter of performances the Steelers out-gained the Browns by 155 yards while Kansas City although a winner were out-gained by 180 yards. LAY IT...PITTSBURGH! |
09-13-18 | Ravens v. Bengals +1.5 | 23-34 | Win | 100 | 10 h 8 m | Show
Baltimore at Cincinnati 8:20 ET Ravens (+) over Bengals- If there is any team that I 'love-to-hate' it's the dirty low-down, late hitting cheap-shot punks called the Cincinnati Bengals. Their 'bum' of a coach with ZERO playoff wins (in what 14 years) who condones their head hunting antics. Now, the shock of the Bengals last second touchdown to knock Baltimore out of the playoffs in last years final has worn off but, the revenge mode of a superior team will be put into action. I know I will have company in this one but it is my only side. The Bengals have defeated the Ravens 8 of the last 11 meetings. Take the CINCINNATI! |
09-10-18 | Rams v. Raiders +5 | Top | 33-13 | Loss | -105 | 13 h 32 m | Show |
L.A. Rams at Oakland 10:20 ET Raiders (+) over Rams- Okay, the John Gruden Raiders Edition II starts tonight and this time it is supposed to be a 10-year rein. Of course the big stink in Oakland is that the Raiders allowed Khalil Mack to escape to Chicago for a pair of No. 1 picks that won't be able to help until they are in Las Vegas. Los Angeles signed their huge defensive holdout as Aaron Donald came to terms and returns to the club that won their division last season for the first time since 2003. The Raiders had a disappointing season last year falling to 6-10 as injuries took their toll. This time around Oakland surprises the Rams. Take the RAIDERS! |
09-09-18 | Redskins +1.5 v. Cardinals | 24-6 | Win | 100 | 27 h 2 m | Show
Washington at Arizona 4:25 ET Redskins (+) over Cardinals- For some reason this game with this 'price' caught my eye during the pre-season and I questioned why Washington opened the favor. This club has had some many injuries (now 4 running backs) that they had to resort to signing Adrain Peterson. The singing of Alex Smith is a 'wash' as Kirk Cousins fled to Minnesota and have just not jelled during the pre-season. Meanwhile Arizona with their No. 1 draft pick showed plenty of solid football during the preseason but the odds-makers doesn't like them here and I have to believe them. Take the REDSKINS! |
09-09-18 | Cowboys +3 v. Panthers | Top | 8-16 | Loss | -100 | 28 h 47 m | Show |
Dallas at Carolina 4:25 ET Cowboys (+)over Panthers- It is sort of hard to remember the Cowboys were 13-3 in 2016 after what has happening to their 'playing' personnel since that time. Gone are Dez Bryant and Jason Witten some of their stronger offensive line a man and along with long time and veteran place kicker Dan Bailey. What remains is still worth mentioning as Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, linebacker Sean Lee and defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence. The Cowboys has defeated Carolina five straight until their last meeting three years ago but Dallas is looking to bounce back from what both Elliott and Prescott admit were disappointing performances. Boy's shock the 'public' with a WIN here. Take DALLAS! |
09-09-18 | 49ers +7 v. Vikings | 16-24 | Loss | -115 | 24 h 57 m | Show
San Francisco at Minnesota 1:00 ET 49ers (+) over Vikings- I really don't understand why Vikings fans and the experts feel that Minnesota in better off now with Kirk Cousins at the helm. Bringing in a 'new' quarterback even a veteran takes time adjusting to each others quirks. Well, in truth the Vikes were built on defense first and are still really tough and have a great home field advantage. Okay, at first look I thought this might be where Jimmy Garoppolo walks into his Waterloo after six straight wins closing the 2017 season. Well, all I'm here is how the Niners have no running game and they haven't been tested. Opening Day at Minnesota they will be tested today and I believe they will pass. Take SAN FRANCISCO! |
09-06-18 | Falcons v. Eagles +1 | 12-18 | Win | 100 | 10 h 10 m | Show
Atlanta at Philadelphia 8:20 ET Eagles over Falcons- It a very strange situation the Super Bowl Champion Eagles are barley favored at home in their opening game as the 'public' has gone frantic betting Atlanta. I would not be surprised if the Falcons end up the favorites here and if they do I will increase my wager. Head-to head action tells us that the home team is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings and the Eagles are 4-1 ATS at home against Atlanta. I believe that the eagles were laying low the entire preseason (maybe Atlanta as well) but I expect them to come out and take command early. Take PHILADELPHIA! |
02-04-18 | Eagles v. Patriots -4 | Top | 41-33 | Loss | -109 | 28 h 41 m | Show |
Philadelphia vs. New England 6:30 ET Patriots (-) over Eagles- 'Wait as long as you can!' This 'number' should do one thing and one thing only and that is drop. Well, there is always the possibility that late heavy 'Wise guy or sharps' money will make a difference but I doubt it. Now, about the game itself...Is it defense or quarterbacks? When push comes to shove in this matchup I have to believe that experience counts and although Nick Foles has had a great playoff run with posting a passer rating of at least 100 in his first three playoff games but things will be different for him Sunday. Tom Brady should be the difference as the Eagles defense is better at home (17.3) then on the road (23.5) and the surroundings can be draining. Take NEW ENGLAND! |
01-21-18 | Vikings -3 v. Eagles | Top | 7-38 | Loss | -100 | 28 h 10 m | Show |
Minnesota at Atlanta 7:37 ET Vikings (-) over Eagles- Okay, enough is enough. Happy to have used Philadelphia as our 'Top Play of the weekend as they manhandled Atlanta 15-10 (not allowing an offensive drive for a score). But, this week they won’t get the 15 points they managed last week. Minnesota’s defense will make the loss of Carson Wentz the difference...Nick Foles can't beat this defense. As long as the Vikings don't give the ball away they win and cover. Take MINNESOTA! |
01-21-18 | Jaguars v. Patriots -7.5 | 20-24 | Loss | -100 | 25 h 44 m | Show
Jacksonville at New England 4:40 ET Patriots (-) over Jaguars- It always seems like the Patriots just have it handed to them in one way or another, either the draw of a weak AFC or key contenders losing the week before they get to meet or opposing quarterbacks that are just so substandard. Now, it appears that it is the Patriots quarterback that is questionable and now everyone's thinking...Jaguars defense, pass rush. NO BRADY. Ha, it won't matter much because New England's defense has actually out played the Jaguars since week four. Take NEW ENGLAND! |
01-14-18 | Saints v. Vikings -4 | Top | 24-29 | Win | 100 | 8 h 20 m | Show |
New Orleans at Minnesota 4:40 ET Vikings (-) over Saints- This should be (you never can tell) the best games of the weekend as the Saints led by Drew Brees bring their high-powered offense to Minnesota to encounter the NFL's top-rated defense. These two met opening week with the Viking led by San Bradford won easily 29-19. Bradford of course was replaced by Case Keenum in the second half the following weeks and has been behind center the rest of the way. Things are also different for New Orleans as Adrian Peterson was their prime running back to start the season and eventually was shipped to Arizona with the sensational Alvin Kamara picking up the slack. Minnesota also lost their top running back rookie Dalvin Cook who went down in Week 4. in the playoffs defense mounts supreme and the Vikings own it. Take MINNESOTA! |
01-14-18 | Jaguars +7 v. Steelers | 45-42 | Win | 100 | 5 h 40 m | Show
Jacksonville at Pittsburgh 1:00 ET Jaguars (+) over Steelers- This was the site in Week 5 of the NFL season that Ben Roethlistberger stated that he should consider 'retiring' as he threw a career high five interceptions in the Jaguars 30-9 rout of the Steelers. Pittsburgh of course went on to win 10 of their next 11 with their only loss coming at the hands of the Patriots. Jacksonville returned two of those interceptions into pick-sixes on their way to the NFL's No. 1 pass defense. This time around the Jags will concentrate on Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell who created a stir this week threatening to sit out next year if he has the 'franchise tag' put on him. I find this a major issue as the problematic Bell is more concerned with his personal issues then the team. It's a bad attitude to have when entering a game of this magnitude. Take JACKSONVILLE! |
01-13-18 | Titans +14 v. Patriots | 14-35 | Loss | -115 | 27 h 13 m | Show
Tennessee at New England 8:15 ET Titans (+) over Patriots- Now, we have a No. 1 seed as the kind of favorite that should be and it appears that the only thing that can stop New England is the media which is going out of their way to create distractions for the reining Super Bowl Champions. The Patriots have always been able to handle off-field issues without problems but they have had to deal with these (whatever) problems. It has to get tiresome sooner or later. The Titans will try and run the ball with Derrick Henry and as Marcus Mariota has 40 TD's and zero interceptions in the 'Red Zone. Take TENNESSEE! |
