10-01-17 | Jaguars v. Jets +3.5 | Top | 20-23 | Win | 100 | 19 h 2 m | Show |
Jacksonville at New York Jets 1:00 ET Jets (+) over Jaguars- Don't get the idea that 'we' are taking New York because of any Jet-lag (please excuse that one) after their game in London last Sunday. Teams returning to the States (please stand) from England actually show a winning record the past nine games winning seven. Jacksonville is felling really good about themselves and it all revolves around the running game as Leonard Fournette has help give Blake some breathing room. New York is off their best defensive effort in nine years while holding Jay Ajayi to less then 30 yards. They will do it again to Fournette and they will record their fourth straight win over the Jaguars. Take the J-E-T-S! |
09-28-17 | Bears +7.5 v. Packers | 14-35 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 44 m | Show
Chicago at Green Bay 8:25 ET Bears (+) over Packers- This is the oldest NFL rivalry as these two clubs are meetings for the 195th time in a series that has been dominated by Green Bay is recent years including six of the last seven meetings. With a win here the Packers can take the series lead that the Bears have held since 1932. Aaron Rogers is 15-4 against Chicago and has thrown for over 300 yards in each of the three games but average only 69 yards rushing per game. The Bears running game posted 220 yards rushing against the Steelers last week and aver over 125 yards on the ground per game. Take CHICAGO! |
09-25-17 | Cowboys v. Cardinals +3.5 | 28-17 | Loss | -120 | 10 h 5 m | Show
Dallas at Arizona 8:30 ET Cardinals (+) over Cowboys- For the most part I would love to 'fade' both these clubs. First, it is easy to play against Dallas as the Cowboys are the media and public darlings but I know how bad the Cardinals really are. After their performance last time out and with the scrutiny that has been focused on Ezekiel Elliot's lack of hustle Dallas should have a more concerted effort. Arizona, meanwhile staged a narrow come-from-behind win at Indianapolis which exploited their weaknesses after an opening loss at Detroit. This is the Cardinals first game at home in over a month and that will help. Take ARIZONA! |
09-24-17 | Raiders v. Redskins +3.5 | Top | 10-27 | Win | 100 | 27 h 32 m | Show |
Oakland at Washington 8:25 ET Redskins (-) over Raiders- Oakland has been the darlings of the 'public' so far winning and getting the money in both their games against the Jets and Titans. Washington lost their home opener to Philadelphia and then went to Los Angeles and shocked the Rams. History is not on the Raiders side in this Sunday night encounter as they are 1-8 straight-up and 3-6 ATS against the NFC East including 0-3 straight-up and ATS after a win. Add that they are 0-7 ATS when entering a Sunday night game off two straight wins. Take the REDSKINS! |
09-24-17 | Chiefs v. Chargers +3.5 | Top | 24-10 | Loss | -115 | 23 h 35 m | Show |
Kansas City at L.A. Chargers 4:25 ET Chargers (+) over Chiefs- The Chiefs are off and running posting two impressive wins over New England and Philadelphia averaging 35 points in the process. San Diego (oops) Los Angeles is off to another poor start (0-2) losing their first two games by a combined five points and have lost six straight in a series that has the Chiefs ahead 58-54-1. Kansas City has defeated AFC West opponents in 11 straight games but will have their hands full with Melvin Gordon and Phillip Rivers leading the Chargers offense. Take LOS ANGELES! |
09-24-17 | Dolphins v. Jets +6.5 | 6-20 | Win | 100 | 19 h 23 m | Show
Miami at New York Jets 1:00 ET Jets (+) over Dolphins- Miami has been on an extended road trip as the hurricanes kept them out of south Florida until after their victory over the L.A. Chargers. Still, entering the third week of the season they once again fid themselves on the road. After returning home the Dolphins player had to deal with the aftermath of the storms and have been distracted since getting back. Granted the Jets are one the league's worst but they will put forth an effort in their home opener. With double revenge New York is 16-2-1 ATS record after losing two straight in this series. Take NEW YORK! |
09-24-17 | Falcons v. Lions +3 | 30-26 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 47 m | Show
Atlanta at Detroit 1:00 ET Lions (+) over Falcons- So now, the media is clambering about the Falcons who have managed to avoid the Super Bowl loser letdown with wins over Chicago (non-cover) and Green Bay in their first two games. This is fine but the season has a long way to go and these 2-0 Super losers are 3-7-1 ATS in Game 3. Atlanta was very impressive in their win over Green Bay but are 0-5 ATS after a Sunday Night victory. The Lions handled the Giants on Monday night but it was more of New York's ineptness that handed them the win. But, today they do it on their own. Take DETROIT! |
09-24-17 | Broncos v. Bills +3.5 | Top | 16-26 | Win | 100 | 20 h 32 m | Show |
Denver at Buffalo 1:00 ET Bills (+) over Broncos- Okay here's the deal, Denver has looked like the best team in the NFL manhandling both the Chargers and Cowboys at home. Having used the Broncos as my 'highest-rated' Megabucks release I was pleased but not surprised. The Bills on the other hand are the same old story with one win over the Jets (if that counts) at home and a tough 'cover' last week against Carolina. It appears the Denver just does not like playing Buffalo as they are 1-6 ATS in their last seven meetings. Coming off Dallas is not treat as teams are just 3-7 ATS after beating the Cowboys and the Broncos are 1-8 ATS as favorites before facing the Raiders. Take BUFFALO! |
09-21-17 | Rams v. 49ers +3 | Top | 41-39 | Win | 100 | 11 h 31 m | Show |
L.A. Rams at San Francisco 8:30 ET 49ers (+) over Rams- Two of the NFL's weakest clubs will meet tonight with a pair of rookie coaches leading the way. The Rams posted an opening week win over the also hapless Colts but fell as a favorite to Washington last week. San Francisco is 0-2 and has yet to score a touchdown playing as good as it could against Seattle in their 12-9 loss last Sunday. The Niners have lost two of their stellar starts on defense as Eric Reid and Reuben Foster but have seem the emergence of Carlos Hyde who ran for 124 yards against Seattle last week. This time he runs for the win. Take SAN FRANCISCO! |
09-18-17 | Lions v. Giants -3 | Top | 24-10 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 10 m | Show |
Detroit at New York Giants 8:30 ET Giants (-) over Lions- The Giants are off their dismal offensive performance in their opening game scoring just 3 points in their loss to Dallas. New York was without Odell Beckham Jr. and it affected their already weak running game that managed just 35 yards on the ground and just two first downs in the first half. Detroit meanwhile was came from behind winner as they closed out Arizona with in the 4th quarter scoring the final 19 points of the game. The battle between quarterbacks Eli Manning and Mathew Stafford should fill the air with footballs as both as used to fourth quarter come-backs as they are No. 1 and 2 in 4th quarter comebacks. Tonight the Giants won't need it. Take NEW YORK! |
09-17-17 | Cowboys v. Broncos +3 | Top | 17-42 | Win | 100 | 21 h 57 m | Show |
Dallas at Denver 4:25 ET Broncos (+) over Cowboys- Ya know, all week I'm lookin' at the Broncos and I'm thinking why should Dallas come in here and be favored? Yes, they just dominated their main division competition at home and travel for a non-conference affair. Denver is off their Monday Night win (barely) over the Chargers and have had only six days but did not have to travel anywhere. They were home the entire week and signing former starting quarterbacks for insurance. Great spot for Broncos. Take DENVER! |
09-17-17 | Jets +14 v. Raiders | 20-45 | Loss | -115 | 20 h 16 m | Show
New York Jets at Oakland 4:05 ET Jets (+) over Raiders- After all the lectures that I gave myself about not jetting involved in games concerning the New York Jets here I am. Last week at Buffalo the Jets gave it the 'old college try' so to speak and came up short straight-up 21-12 and ATS. Last week the Raiders were having a gay old time in Nashville as they took apart Tennessee in the second half for a 26-16 road win. Take the New York J-E-T-S! |
09-17-17 | Bears +7 v. Bucs | 7-29 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 17 m | Show
Chicago at Tampa Bay 1:00 ET Bears (+) over Buccaneers- Strange as this might sound but Tampa Bay is probably the most 'banged-up' team in the league and they haven't played a game yet. Between hurricanes Harvey and Irma they haven't had a consistent place to rest or a consistent venue to practice. The Bears meanwhile came within a goal-to-goal conversion of beating the Falcons but has to settle with a ATS (+6.5) 17-23 cover. Chicago has a game under their belt and that is a decided advantage in this spot. Take DA' BEARS! |
09-17-17 | Titans v. Jaguars +3 | 37-16 | Loss | -135 | 17 h 2 m | Show
Tennessee at Jacksonville 1:00 ET Jaguars (+) over Titans- I have not problem coming back with Jacksonville after posting them last week as a 'High Roller' winner over Houston. Everyone was shocked at the Jaguars defense (10 sacks) and offense that did not turn the ball over. The Titans were shocked themselves as the Raiders stole their thunder losing 26-16 and not showing much offense at all. The secret for the Jags will be out soon with Leonard Fournette running the ball controlling it will be a lot easier. I expect the 'public' to back Tennessee and by game time you will get the optimum number. Take the points though you won't need them...JACKSONVILLE! |
09-17-17 | Patriots v. Saints +7 | Top | 36-20 | Loss | -115 | 19 h 21 m | Show |
New England at New Orleans 1:00 ET Saints (+) over Patriots- Maybe it's just that the Pats are done. It happens to dysentery all the time. Where teams go from the best to absolutely dreadful over night the Giants of the 60's the . It just looks like the same old Saints team that hasn't had a winning record since 2013. Injuries just continue to haunt New England as they lost another receiver with Danny Amendola going down throws to Brandin Cooks who was with Brees and the Saints for three years with consecutive 1,000 yard seasons. The Patriots showed very little for the preseason and what we saw in their first game leaves a lot of questions. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
09-14-17 | Texans v. Bengals -6 | 13-9 | Loss | -107 | 10 h 52 m | Show
Houston at Cincinnati 8:25 ET Bengals (-) over Texans- This is actually a pretty difficult cal as there are so many reasons to 'go-against' both these clubs. Let's start with their dismal performances in Week 1 as both clubs were dominated as home favorites last week with the Bengals getting shut out 20-0 by the Ravens and the Texans being man-handled by the Jaguars 29-7. Their a a plethora of problems with Houston including injuries, a first-starting rookie quarterback and a coach in Bill O'Brien that is in over his head. O'Brien named Tom Savage his starter Game 1 and then pulled him at the half only to have Deshaun Watson sacked four times in the second half. When a head coached is confused (see Hard Knocks 2016) as O'Brien is the clubs plays leaderless and won't win. Take CINCINNATI! |
09-10-17 | Giants v. Cowboys -4 | Top | 3-19 | Win | 100 | 23 h 26 m | Show |
New York Giants at Dallas 8:30 ET Cowboys (-) over Giants- The entire summer and throughout the preseason I heard everywhere how it was the Giants were going to dethrone Dallas and win the NFC East. And while that was a buzz the Cowboys were in a mess of their own as Elliott was most likely sideline. Talk was of how the Giants took the 'Boys down twice last year and they have their 'number.' Well, the worm has turned as Elliott is able to play and New York's Super-star Odell Beckman Jr. might well be sidelined with a high ankle sprain. The Cowboys were a 1-point favorite in last years opener and although the thought is that the Giants have improved this year the line is much stronger. Take DALLAS |
09-10-17 | Panthers v. 49ers +6 | 23-3 | Loss | -120 | 19 h 28 m | Show
Carolina at San Francisco 4:25 ET 49ers (+) over Panthers- As my buddy handicapper and politician asked me 'who quarterbacks the 49ers?' So, I dug deep and found out that it is Brian Hoyer and I have to figure that is better then Blane Gabbert anyway. Carolina of course will have a 'repaired' Cam Newton and exciting wide receiver/running back and return man Christian McCaffrey. But, San Francisco has an answer on the ground with Carlos Hyde who is ready to make his mark with head coach Kyle Shananhan. How bad can Hoyer be he was 10-5-1 ATS with the Browns but the Niners are 2-13 ATS in the last 15 meetings. Be careful. Take SAN FRANCISCO! |
09-10-17 | Seahawks +3 v. Packers | Top | 9-17 | Loss | -104 | 19 h 18 m | Show |
Seattle at Green Bay 4:25 ET Seahawks (+) over Packers- This is not a spot where I feel completely comfortable and I will explain. Seattle won and covered all four of their preseason games and for the most part I have learned that when a team puts that much importance to the preseason they get taken down in week one. But, this is a unique situation as the Seahawks are not put into the position of being a favorite and they will get points here as the underdog. Green Bay has hosted an won the last two meetings winning both game easily. No so fast my friend. Take SEATTLE! |
09-10-17 | Colts +5 v. Rams | 9-46 | Loss | -110 | 15 h 7 m | Show
Indianapolis at Los Angeles Rams 4:05 ET Colts (+) over Rams- I had an eye on this game six weeks ago when they had the Colts as 3-point favorites and the books didn't have a grasp of how far away from playing Andrew Luck was from playing. The 'Books' may have not known Luck wasn't going to be ready but, the Indianapolis coaching staff 'knew' and have been preparing everyday for this game being out of luck so to say. The Rams have become the new 'darlings of the public and I just don't really understand why. Maybe it's going back to LA and wearing their former colors (white) again but I don't think they realize that starter Jared Goff is 0-7 as a starter and is now in the favorites roll. I don't think so. Take INDIANAPOLIS! |
09-10-17 | Falcons v. Bears +7 | 23-17 | Win | 100 | 16 h 9 m | Show
Atlanta at Chicago 1:00 ET Bears (+) over Falcons- Not so much that I have confidence in the Bears but Atlanta has to still be shell shocked by the results of their last real game (they were 0-4 both SU and ATS in the preseason). Chicago closed the pre-season with a 25-0 white wash loss to the Cleveland Browns and you can't get much lower then that. For the Falcons this is the first game without offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan who was in synch with Matt Ryan. The piece that everyone is aware of is that the Super Bowl loser in road openers are 2-15 straight-up and ATS in the last 32 years. The Bears are 23-10 straight-up in home openers and Atlanta is 5-18 straight-up on the road against non-division opponents. Take Da' BEARS! |
09-10-17 | Ravens +3 v. Bengals | 20-0 | Win | 100 | 12 h 52 m | Show
Baltimore at Cincinnati 1:00 ET Ravens (+) over Bengals- Can both these clubs wear black this week because I image one of them is going to be disappointed not only in uniform color but in the final score. I can't quite grasp way the Bengals are going so much support from the 'public' and 'wise guys' alike. Cincinnati was 6-9-1 last season and did nothing in the preseason to make me think that they have turned things around. Baltimore I know that Joe Flacco didn't play in the preseason but he is well aware of the offense and the Ravens return a number of players that missed time. The Bengals are going in the opposite direction as they will be without two huge players on defense in Burfict and Jones. Take BALTIMORE! |
09-07-17 | Chiefs +9.5 v. Patriots | 42-27 | Win | 100 | 11 h 45 m | Show
Kansas City at New England 8:30 ET Chiefs (+) over Patriots- Well, here we go another NFL season opener with the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots hosting an AFC rival that were a playoff team at 12-4 last season. When comparing these two clubs it all starts and ends at the quarterback position. Tom Brady turns 40 years old this season and brings 5 Super Bowl rings, 14 AFC Division titles and has played in 12 Pro Bowls where the Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith is still looking to complete a pass to a wide receiver. The 'numbers' are overwhelming when you realize that Brady is 101-17 at Gillette Stadium and have won 24 in-a-row against non-division AFC foes. Although Kansas City brings things to the table as well they have never won at Gillette. What the Chiefs bring is a mistake free offense managed by Smith and coached by Andy Reid who is 7-0 straight-up and ATS against the AFC East and he is 17-9 ATS in September. Add that Reid is 12-3 ATS as a dog of 8-points or more. Take KANSAS CITY! |
02-05-17 | Patriots -3 v. Falcons | Top | 34-28 | Win | 100 | 76 h 24 m | Show |
New England vs. Atlanta 6:30 ET Patriots (-) over Falcons- 1/24/17-My first thoughts on this matchup were that the Patriots with all their post-season and Super Bowl experience would have a decided advantage over Atlanta. The Falcons could will be over-whelmed by the constant pressure and scrutiny of every movement or thought. New England has done it before and has a coach that has been their before and won’t allow distractions to become part of the preparation. A number of players and even a Falcons player has freaked-out during Super Bowl week and missed the game. Now, I'm not thinking that is will happen here but the pressure will be huge as 'new' experience. I think the knee jerk reaction here is to take Atlanta because of their offense although the Pats have received early money. Still wondering what story-line the media will come up with...I'll wait. 02-02-17- Okay, I've waited long enough and I'm saying with my original instinct. I know they money is heavy on the Pats but I am hearing more Atlanta talk everyday. I expect the New England 'hate' money to surface enough to help out the 'books.' I can give you a million stats but they won't matter once the ball is kicked-off. Take the PATRIOTS! |
01-22-17 | Steelers +6 v. Patriots | 17-36 | Loss | -100 | 28 h 31 m | Show
Pittsburgh at New England 6:40 ET Steelers (+) over Patriots- Hey, how about that 'classy' Steelers locker room episode that has Mike Tomlin so upset. Well, I'll say this, he (Tomlin) is right about the Patriots who have a day-and-half extra to prepare for the AFC Championship game. Believe it, when the Pitt/KC game was being played that New England had ALL their coaches working on a game plan while watching the late Sunday game. The Patriots have defeated the Steelers in Pittsburgh in Week 7 while Roethlistberger was sidelined. Pats coach Bill Belichick thinks that has no significance as Pittsburgh has won their last seven with 'Big Ben' in the line-up. We must note that New England is 16-3 at home during the payoffs since 2001. Tom Brady has been at his best against Pittsburgh throwing for 19 touchdowns and zero interceptions in the last six match-ups and is 9-2 lifetime against the 'Terrible Towel boys' with 26 TD passes and just three picks. NE 14-3 ATS this season Pitt is 11-6-1. Take PITTSBURGH! |
01-22-17 | Packers v. Falcons -4 | Top | 21-44 | Win | 100 | 27 h 59 m | Show |
Green Bay at Atlanta 3:05 ET Falcons (-) over Packers- No question the NFC Championship game has the conference's two top quarterbacks facing off as MVP candidate Matt Ryan will be up against former Super Bowl MVL Aaron Rogers who has been 'incredible' according to coach Mile McCarthy. Rogers has a 117.9 passer rating with 21 touchdowns and one interception during the Packers current eight-game win streak while Ryan has thrown for a franchise record 4,944 yards and has 14 TD passes and no interceptions during their current five-game winning streak. Atlanta scored an NFL best 540 points and has scored a touchdowns on its first possession in each of its last seven games. The Packers are 4-1 ATS in their last five meetings in Atlanta and the road team is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings. Take ATLANTA! |
01-15-17 | Steelers v. Chiefs -1 | Top | 18-16 | Loss | -105 | 25 h 32 m | Show |
Pittsburgh at Kansas City 1:00 ET Chiefs over Steelers- Boy, I hate doing this but I think I've got a winner. I mean I hate going against Ben Roethlistberger because he truly is a 'gamer' and he plays through pain. The Steelers come in on an eight game winning streak including last weeks Wild Card win over hapless Miami. These two met in Pittsburgh the first week of October and the Steelers crushed 43-13 and now they are a virtual pick-em. Chiefs mentor Andy Reid is 18-0 straight-up and 14-4 ATS when he has had an extra week to prepare. I like it! Take KANSAS CITY! |
01-15-17 | Packers v. Cowboys -4 | Top | 34-31 | Loss | -125 | 21 h 48 m | Show |
Green Bay at Dallas 4:40 ET Cowboys (-) over Packers- Well, this one looks like a 'Mexican Standoff' and I don't mean on the field. The way I see it, it will be a battle between the 'public' and the 'sharps' as Vegas sees it. Green Bay is 5-1-1 ATS against playoffs teams this season including a home loss to the Cowboys (30-16) and Dallas is 5-1 both SU and ATS at home against playoff competition. Yep, a heap big stand-off. Bad news for Packers fans teams that lose during the regular season to a playoff opponent are 3-15 SU and 5-13 ATS in Division playoffs. Packers enter hot with seven straight wins, while well rested Cowboys take aim. Take DALLAS! |
01-14-17 | Texans +16 v. Patriots | 16-34 | Loss | -100 | 32 h 38 m | Show
Houston at New England 8:15 ET Patriots (-) over Texans- The history of heavy favorites of 17-points or more in the playoffs going to...the favorite winning and covering on six of eight occasions with the most obvious winner the 1969 New York Jets led by Joe Namath who 'guaranteed' the win. Telling you who is better is silly, we know, but listen up. The Texas are 0-5 ATS in their last five road games against a team with a winning home record, New England is 4-0 ATS in their last four versus the AFC, Texans are 0-4 ATS in their last four trips to New England. So guess, just guess who I like. Take HOUSTON! |
01-14-17 | Seahawks v. Falcons -5 | Top | 20-36 | Win | 100 | 28 h 2 m | Show |
Seattle at Atlanta 4:35 ET Falcons (-) over Seahawks- Odds are pretty good from what's being said that Matt Ryan may end up the MVP and it would be a tough choice to dispute. The problem to this point of his career is that Matty Ice is 1-4 straight-up and 0-4-1 ATS in the playoffs. The Seahawks defeated (non-cover) Atlanta (+7) 26-24 at home in mid October without Thomas Rawls but had Earl Thomas in the defensive backfield. The Falcons are the No.1 scoring offense (33.8) in the NFL but are 29th ranked against the run. Road team is 4-1 ATS in their last five meetings. But the Birds are 14-7 straight-up against NFC West and 4-0ATS in the last four. Lay it...take ATLANTA! |
01-08-17 | Giants v. Packers -5.5 | Top | 13-38 | Win | 100 | 17 h 5 m | Show |
New York Giants at Green Bay 4:40 ET Giants (+) over Packers- The biggest surprise of the NFL may be that the Giants who were the worst against the run last season are No. 1 in NFC scoring defense this season allowing just 17.75 points per game trailing only New England (14.06). New York has held three of the last four opponents to 10 points or less. The problem for the G-Men is on offense where they are ranked 25th (only playoff team worse is the Texans) and haven't scored 30 points once this season. These two also met in October in Green Bay where the Packers prevailed 23-16 when both quarterbacks suffered poor passing days. The Pack were at 4-6 when Aaron Rogers said they would run-the-table and they did just that winning their last six games while the Giants went 9-2 straight-up to close the season. New York who is 3-4 on the road totaled only 221 yards of offense in their meeting but did pick off two of Rogers' throws. New York has won their last two playoff trips to Lambeau Field and Packers avenge it all today. Take GREEN BAY! |
01-08-17 | Dolphins v. Steelers -12 | 12-30 | Win | 100 | 14 h 33 m | Show
Miami at Pittsburgh 1:05 ET Steelers (-) over Dolphins- The Steelers have reeled off seven straight wins but have a measure of revenge on their minds as they were pounded by the Dolphins in Miami 30-15 back in October. The wind chill factor is supposed to reach single digits and no matter how many times they have made the trip into the cold Miami will still struggle to handle the frozen football. Playing with quarterback Ryan Tannehill the Dolphins will start veteran Matt Moore who will be making his first career post season start. In that Miami win against the Steel Curtain Jay Ajayi ran for 222 yards as Pittsburgh has surrendered the most yards (6,122) in a season in franchise history. The Steelers only allowed 20 sacks this season and Roethlisberger is still too tough to bring down. Take PITTSBURGH! |
01-07-17 | Lions v. Seahawks -8 | Top | 6-26 | Win | 100 | 24 h 13 m | Show |
Detroit at Seattle 8:15 ET Seahawks (-) over Lions- The Lions come straggering into the payoffs dropping their last three and haven't won a playoff game since the 1991, losing in their last seven appearances and 11 of 12. This is Seattle's fifth straight playoff appearance and they have won nine straight post-season games at home. Right now the Seahawks famed defense is hurting as all-pro safety Earl Thomas is out along with wide receiver Tyler Lockett and running back C.J. Prosise but have the return of Michael Bennett at defensive end and safety Kam Chancellor. The key for the Seahawks is their running game and when Thomas Rawls is healthy they can set up Russell Wilson's passing game. Detroit ranked 30th in rushing with offensive line woes and a quarterback in Matthew Stafford that hasn't preformed well since injuring his finger. Take SEATTLE! |
01-07-17 | Raiders +4 v. Texans | 14-27 | Loss | -105 | 21 h 36 m | Show
Oakland at Houston 4:35 ET Raiders (+) over Texans- This is a rematch of a game played in late November in Mexico when the Raiders scored two four quarter touchdowns to win and cover 27-20. Both teams have issues at quarterback where Derek Carr is out for the Raiders while the Texans just have to deal with inconsistent play. Brock Osweiler will start by default as replacement Tom Savage suffered a concession last time out. This will put more emphasis on the running game where Houston most likely will have the return of Lamar Miller who rushed for 1,069 yards their season while Oakland was held to 30 yards rushing in the first matchup. The Raiders are 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a loss but, that was will Carr and the road team is 4-1 ATS in their last four meetings. Houston has a chance to be the first team to play in the Super Bowl when playing in the host city but that won't happen. Oakland will give rookie QB Connor Cook who never even dressed for an NFL before the final week gets his first NFL start and this is the first time a player has made his first start in a playoff game. Watch for the Raiders to rally together and get the win. Take OAKLAND! |
01-01-17 | Packers v. Lions +3.5 | Top | 31-24 | Loss | -115 | 30 h 32 m | Show |
Green Bay at Detroit 8:30 ET Lions (+) over Packers- Great way to finish the season with the Packers and Lions having to win to get into the playoffs. Green Bay looked dead in the water at 4-6 five weeks ago and then Arron Rogers said that they would win out and here we are five straight wins later. Detroit who at 9-4 looked like a shoe-in but two straight losses have them fighting for their playoff lives. The ions new this how it was going to play out regardless if they won or not against Dallas last Monday. Take DETROIT! |

01-01-17 | Giants v. Redskins -7.5 | 19-10 | Loss | -105 | 26 h 32 m | Show
New York Giants at Washington 4:25 ET Redskins (-) over Giants- This is one of those great opportunities for us as 'players' to take advantage of a message the odds makers are presenting to the public. The Giants are slotted into the fifth seed and a win or loss will not affect their standing as they get back into the playoffs since they won the Super Bowl in 2009. New York of course can knock Washington out of the post season but they will more concerned with keeping players healthy. The Redskins will be 'all-in' and on the warpath for 60 minutes. Take WASHINGTON! |
01-01-17 | Chiefs v. Chargers +4.5 | 37-27 | Loss | -110 | 25 h 29 m | Show
Kansas City at San Diego 4:25 ET Chargers (+) over Chiefs- Kansas City should be motivated here as they still have a chance for the division and a first round bye. But, it's not going to happen here. The Chiefs blew out a dispirited Broncos team last week a team with no quarterback to speak of but will have to face Phillip Rivers this week. After losing to the Cleveland Browns last week I expect San Diego to show some personal and professional pride and put forth a big effort here. Chargers gain satisfaction for their opening week 33-27 loss to the Chiefs. Take the CHARGERS! |
01-01-17 | Bills v. Jets +3.5 | 10-30 | Win | 100 | 22 h 15 m | Show
Buffalo at New York Jets 1:00 ET Jets (+) over Bills- The one should end up as a race to the locker room as these two compete to see who can quit first. We have seen video evidence that the Jets don't even want to bother going out on to the field as they would prefer partying with 'Hoes.' Players have skipped and been late for team meetings but Todd Bowles has not been strong enough to discipline his rule breakers. Buffalo isn't in much better shape with Rex Ryan getting fired and the organization look to dump Tyron Taylor before the season ends. Its a mess. So New York wins. Take J-E-T-S! |
01-01-17 | Cowboys v. Eagles -4.5 | Top | 13-27 | Win | 100 | 22 h 13 m | Show |
Dallas at Philadelphia 1:00 ET Eagles (-) over Cowboys- After that display we witnessed last Monday night the 'Ginger' Jason Garrett said that the Cowboys will play all out even though they have the home field locked-up. Well, the odds-makers don't believe him as the Eagles were installed as a 4-point favorite. What I am being told here behind the scenes is that Dallas will not risk Ezekiel Elliott but we understand that Tony Romo will get some playing time. This outcome will be determined by motivation and effort, I don't expect either from the Cowboys this week. Take PHILADLEPHIA! |
12-26-16 | Lions v. Cowboys -6 | Top | 21-42 | Win | 100 | 24 h 31 m | Show |
Detroit at Dallas 8:30 ET Cowboys (-) over Lions- From what I can tell most believe the Cowboys will rest their best and even see to it that Tony Romo gets some playing time. With quarterbacks dropping left and right most don't have the luxury and depth that Dallas presents. Local high school start Matthew Stafford returns with a slight hand injury has seemed to affect his play as the Lions failed to score a touchdown against the Giants in a 19-6 loss at New York. The key that many are not aware of is that Detroit only has to win next week against the Packers to win the NFC North. I give the edge to the Cowboys. Take DALLAS! |
12-25-16 | Broncos +3.5 v. Chiefs | Top | 10-33 | Loss | -115 | 29 h 38 m | Show |
Denver at Kansas City 8:30 ET Broncos (+) over Chiefs- Boy, I wonder if Gary Kubiak regrets his brain cramp when trying a 62-yard field goal against these same Chiefs because he refused a take a tie. Well, the Broncos are on the outside looking in as far as the playoffs are concerned and now they have a team that is divided in the locker room as the defense is calling out the inept offense. Kansas City just out a a quick two touchdown lead last week against the titans and then lost on the games final play as Andy Reid gave Tennessee and extra chance to make the game winning field goal and they did it. Denver's defense can still contain check-down quarterback Alex Smith and win here. Take DENVER! |
12-24-16 | Bucs v. Saints -3 | 24-31 | Win | 100 | 19 h 58 m | Show
Tampa Bay at New Orleans 4:25 ET Saints (-) over Buccaneers- The Bucs' played their butts off against Dallas and were just now able to hang on for the win although they did get the 'money.' New Orleans did lose at Tampa Bay 13 days ago 16-11 but they have still won eight of the last 10 meetings. Tampa is one-game behind Atlanta in the NFC South while the Saints can actually make the playoffs by inning out and getting a lot of help. Still, with the history between these two clubs I'll take...NEW ORLEANS! |
12-24-16 | Vikings +7 v. Packers | 25-38 | Loss | -115 | 16 h 40 m | Show
Minnesota at Green Bay 1:00 ET Vikings (+) over Packers- The Packers how were considered 'dead-in-the-water' have posted four straight wins as Aaron Rodgers has thrown for 10 touchdowns and zero interceptions. Ty Montgomery a former receiver now at running back ran for 162 yards last week with 57 yards receiving. Minnesota who started so fast already has a huge win over the Pack is looking to bounce back from a 34-6 pounding inflicted by the Colts makes seven losses in their last nine games. Adrian Peterson will not be a distraction this week and that helps the Vikings. Take MINNESOTA! |
12-24-16 | Redskins v. Bears +3 | Top | 41-21 | Loss | -105 | 16 h 45 m | Show |
Washington at Chicago 1:00 ET Bears (+) over Redskins- It sounds to me like the Redskins are already making excuses as to why they will fall short of the playoffs. After Monday's loss to Carolina left Tackle Trent Williams stated 'Short week are always tough' he continued, it's a physical game and it take 72,48 hours to recover...the games on...we got to play it.' Chicago has lost four of its last five but they are playing better since the Jay Cutler injury. Bears running back Jordan Howard has rushed for over 1,000 years averaging 5.0 per carry. Washington show what they were made of against the Bucs on Monday. Take CHICAGO! |
12-24-16 | Titans v. Jaguars +5.5 | Top | 17-38 | Win | 100 | 16 h 43 m | Show |
Tennessee at Jacksonville 1:00 ET Jaguars (+) over Titans- Well, the Gus Bradley era ended with a thud this week when Jacksonville absorbed their nine straight loss. The Jaguars were picked by many 'experts' to break into the playoffs but after winning only 14 of 62 games Doug Marrone has taken over as interim coach. The Titans at 8-6 are tie for the division lead as Marcus Mariota has matured quicker then most thought he would. The Titans have had a number of defensive injuries as they lost three starters last week. It catches up with them here. Take JACKSONVILLE! |
12-24-16 | Falcons v. Panthers +3 | Top | 33-16 | Loss | -100 | 16 h 37 m | Show |
Atlanta at Carolina 1:00 ET Panthers (+) over Falcons- The Carolina Panthers are starting to play football like they should as they have won their last two and remarkably still have an outside shot at the playoffs. Atlanta of course has the NFL's most explosive offense with Matt Ryan and Julio Jones looking like an MVP combination. Even though the Falcons defeated Carolina in Week 4 (48-33) the Panthers' defense has forced wight turnovers the past two weeks and their running game in moving the ball. Getting points at home...I'll take CAROLINA! |
12-22-16 | Giants v. Eagles +2 | 19-24 | Win | 100 | 10 h 24 m | Show
New York Giants at Philadelphia 8:25 Eagles (+) over Giants- The Giants can clinch a playoff berth for the first time in five year with a win in either of their final two games. Philadelphia started the season with seven straight wins and 'covers' including the preseason (4-0) and then they had a bye. Going to Detroit they lost for the first time and have gone 2-9 both straight-up and ATS. But, they have lost five in a row while the Giants have gone 8-1 both straight-up and ATS. New York has had a favorable schedule and they already defeated the Eagles 28-23 at home. Philadelphia has player better at home going 4-2 while the Giants are just 3-3 on the road where they also play at Washington. It's a bitter home field advantage. Take the EAGLES! |
12-19-16 | Panthers v. Redskins -6.5 | 26-15 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 42 m | Show
Carolina at Washington 8:30 ET Redskins (-) over Panthers- Is this right? The Redskins are now about a touchdown favorite against the Panthers. Carolina still has signs of life and that is why I questioned the 'price' on this contest as I see an opening number of 3.5 and the move is excessive. But, why? Maybe former Panthers Josh Norman and they are afraid he will hurt Cam (The Scam) Newton. Carolina is just 1-5 on the road and I don't think it gets any better here. Take WASHINGTON! |
12-18-16 | Bucs v. Cowboys -7 | Top | 20-26 | Loss | -110 | 24 h 18 m | Show |
Tampa Bay at Dallas 8:30 ET Cowboys (-) over Buccaneers- Oh, so now the Buccaneers are the favor of the month as they enter Dallas with five straight wins and 'covers' and an amazing 5-1 road record. Dallas meanwhile, continues to lead the NFC but are off three straight non-covers. Last Sunday the Cowboys had it handed to them for the second time by the Giants and will not enter this contest not taking it lightly. It looks like Jamis Winston is being to arrive but note that the Tampa Bay defense allowed only 11-points per contest during their winning streak. Dallas defense is up to the task. Take the COWBOYS! |
12-18-16 | Raiders v. Chargers +2.5 | 19-16 | Loss | -110 | 20 h 18 m | Show
Oakland at San Diego 4:25 ET Chargers (+) over Raiders- The Raiders have gone from clinching their first post-season berth since 2002 and lost their hold as No.1 seed and position atop the AFC West. Kansas City holds the tie-break via a sweep of the season series. Oakland had both a six-game winning steak and five game undefeated streak come to an end at KC. If Melvin Gordon was healthy and able to play (he is not) I would consider posting this game om top of my board but without him I still like the Chargers to win but with a notch less confidence. I still like them here. Take SAN DIEGO! |
12-18-16 | Patriots v. Broncos +3 | 16-3 | Loss | -110 | 20 h 36 m | Show
New England at Denver 4:25 ET Broncos (+) over Patriots- I wonder how the knucklehead coaching the Broncos feels about going for a sixty yard field goal now clinging to the final playoff spot (for now). If not for a blocked extra-point and return Denver would be on a four-game side. The defending Super Bowl Champs with play division leaders the rest of the way in as they meet AFC West co-leaders Kansas City and Oakland next. The Broncos' defense is their only hope with a league-low 183.5 yards per game and 38 sacks. Brady wants revenge but the Broncos need it much more. Take DENVER! |
12-18-16 | Packers v. Bears +4.5 | 30-27 | Win | 100 | 16 h 6 m | Show
Green Bay at Chicago 1:00 ET Bears (+) over Packers- Hey, there is life in Chicago aside from the Cubs...the Bears may be down to their third string quarterback Matt Barkley, but we all have to start somewhere. Aaron Rogers who has had more touchdown passes then any other quarterback the past eight weeks did not practice Wednesday or Thursday but is expected to play. Three weeks ago you couldn't get any Packer takers and now after three straight wins the band-wagon is full again. Too bad for them because the Bears claw here. Take CHICAGO! |
12-18-16 | Steelers v. Bengals +3.5 | Top | 24-20 | Loss | -125 | 17 h 59 m | Show |
Pittsburgh at Cincinnati 1:00 ET Bengals (+) over Steelers- The only left for the Bengals this season would be to rise up and end the Steelers four-game winning streak and slow down Big Ben and LeVeon Bell. Pittsburgh meanwhile is off a win at Buffalo where the Bills just rolled over and they won for fun. Roethlisberger is 10-2 during the regular season against the Bengals but A.J. Green returns Sunday and Cincinnati is looking to even the series after Pittsburgh's 26-16 Week 2 win. With revenge in mind...take CINCINNATI! |
12-17-16 | Dolphins v. Jets +2.5 | Top | 34-13 | Loss | -100 | 22 h 1 m | Show |
Miami at New York Jets 8:25 ET Jets (+) over Dolphins- Both clubs will be using replacement quarterbacks as veteran Matt Moore fills in for the Dolphins and Ryan Tannehill and second year man Bryce Petty once again gets the start for the New York Jets. These two are bitter AFC rivals and Miami already holds a win (27-23) and cover (-3.5) from their first match and the Jets will be looking to even the score. New York could have quit last week when the 49ers jumped out to a 14-0 lead and the Jets flew past them in the second half. They have not quit. Take the JETS! |
12-12-16 | Ravens v. Patriots -6 | 23-30 | Win | 100 | 8 h 40 m | Show
Baltimore at New England 8:30 ET Patriots (-) over Ravens- With the Raiders loss on Thursday New England is back at the top of the AFC playoff seeding as they host the most 'hated' of all opponents. Baltimore is 4-1 in its last five games while the Patriots have won their last three. Tom Brady has been on a mission since returning to action after his four game suspension and has 19 touchdown passes and only one interception. Both teams present equal defenses each allowing just 17.3 points a game which has them both second in the NFL. The difference is and will be Tom Brady. Take NEW ENGLAND! |
12-11-16 | Cowboys v. Giants +4 | Top | 7-10 | Win | 100 | 23 h 38 m | Show |
Dallas at New York Giants 8:30 ET Giants (+) over Cowboys- Kind of hard t believe that if it wasn't for the Giants winning opening day in Dallas the Cowboys would be undefeated at this time and we would be having the same types of conversation we had last year when Carolina was rolling through their schedule. If the 'Boys win here they will not only avenge their only loss but they will clinch a bye and home field throughout the playoffs. Alas, it most likely happen but not tonight. Look for a 'Giants' ambush. Take NEW YORK! |
12-11-16 | Falcons v. Rams +5.5 | 42-14 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 38 m | Show
Atlanta at L.A. Rams 4:25 ET Rams (+) over Falcons- The Rams have dropped their last three and will once again be starting rookie No.1 draft pick Jared Goff leading the NFL's worst offense. The Falcons are up to their old tricks after a quick start they are coming back to the pack losing last week to Tampa Bay and close the season against two division rivals. Three week ago we were talking about how strong the Rams defense was but their last two games have been a disaster. The Flacons have the number 1 offense in the NFL but their pass defense is the worst in the league and they have allowed 76.2% touchdowns in the red zone. Take LOS ANGELES! |
12-11-16 | Vikings v. Jaguars +3 | 25-16 | Loss | -100 | 15 h 54 m | Show
Minnesota at Jacksonville 1:00 ET Jaguars (+) over Vikings- If I remember correctly many of the preseason predictions had the Jaguars making the playoffs and now that they are 2-10 it is said that Blake Bortles can't cut it. He leads the NFL in interceptions (15) and has lost four fumbles. But, you can't put it all on him because their running game is virtually nonexistent. But, they are second in the NFL in pass defense because they don't stop the run and teams don't bother to pass against them. They have a league low three interceptions and have forced just five fumbles. The good part for them is that the Vikings started 5-0 but have lost six of their seven as Minnesota's rushing game is nowhere without Adrian Peterson and Sam Bradford isn't showing enough to win. Take JACKSONVILLE! |
12-11-16 | Steelers v. Bills +3 | Top | 27-20 | Loss | -125 | 23 h 6 m | Show |
Pittsburgh at Buffalo 1:00 ET Bills (+) over Steelers- Big Ben was down and the Steelers were reeling, well that was three weeks ago and now Pittsburgh is tied with Baltimore for the division lead and the Bengals are dead meat. The Bills meanwhile blew a 24-9 lead to the Raiders who scored 29 unanswered points to drop Buffalo to 6-6 with still a small chance to get to the post season. A win here would help in so many ways. The Bills defense can meet the challenge at home. Take BUFFALO! |
12-11-16 | Redskins v. Eagles +2 | Top | 27-22 | Loss | -105 | 15 h 2 m | Show |
Washington at Philadelphia 1:00 ET Eagles (+) over Redskins- Ah the fortunes of rookie quarterbacks and 'new' head coaches. Philadelphia opened the season with three straight wins and everyone was clambering what a great move to draft and start Carson Wentz and now they are 5-7 and Peterson is no longer a genius and Wentz's numbers have evened out to where he has 12 TD passes and 11 Int's. Washington has dropped their last two and but has a 27-20 win over the Eagles to dwell on. To bad for them so will the Eagles...Take PHILADELPHIA! |
12-08-16 | Raiders v. Chiefs -3 | 13-21 | Win | 100 | 10 h 32 m | Show
Oakland at Kansas City 8:25 ET Chiefs (-) over Raiders- A pair of 'hot' quarterbacks face-off in Kansas City where Alex Smith and the Chiefs will hosts Derek Carr and the Raiders. This is a battle for the AFC West lead and Oakland has a six-game winning streak with Carr throwing 12 touchdown passes while Smith has thrown 18 touchdown passes in his last nine starts and only three interceptions. Kansas City who won the first match-up this season 26-10 is looking forward to the return of receiver Jeremy Maclin and go with tight end Travis Kelce who has had three straight 100-yard games. KC is the NFL leader in take-a-ways with a plus-14. Take the CHIEFS! |
12-05-16 | Colts v. Jets +2 | 41-10 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 13 m | Show
Indianapolis at New York Jets 8:30 ET Jets (+) over Colts- After missing a game because of a concussion Andrew Luck will return Monday night in New York against the Jets. Indianapolis is still in the playoff hunt at 5-6 trailing Houston (6-6) and Tennessee (6-6) the AFC South leaders. The Jets are last in the East and have dropped three straight and haven't forced a turnover in any of those losses, but have defeated the Colts the last two meetings against Luck. New York has struggled at times throwing the ball but should be able to run with Matt Forte against the Colts 23rd ranked run defense. Take the J-E-T-S! |
12-04-16 | Giants v. Steelers -6 | 14-24 | Win | 100 | 19 h 36 m | Show
New York Giants at Pittsburgh 4:25 ET Steelers (+) over Giants- The history that I remember between these two old NFL rivals had Bobby Lane and John Henry Johnson on one side and Frank Gifford and Andy Robustelli on the other. The Giants have won a league leading six straight wins and trail the Cowboys will little chance to pass them while the Steelers are tied with Baltimore in the AFC North. This one means so much more to the 'Men-of-Steel' Take PITTSBURGH! |
12-04-16 | Redskins v. Cardinals -2.5 | 23-31 | Win | 100 | 18 h 1 m | Show
Washington at Arizona 4:25 ET Cardinals (-) over Redskins- Right now if your are counting the Redskins are to be the No. 6 playoff seed while the Cardinals will have to win out to finish 9-7. Arizona has lost 3-of-4 and have suffered key injuries. Still, with Carson Palmer as I have said they won't won anything big. Arizona has much better at home where they are 3-2-1 while 1-4 on the road. Washington is 2-2 on the road and see a favorable schedule from here on out with only the Giants above .500. Take ARIZONA! |
12-04-16 | Bills +3 v. Raiders | Top | 24-38 | Loss | -105 | 18 h 21 m | Show |
Buffalo at Oakland 4:05 ET Bills (+) over Raiders- With a win here either side has a chance to end one of the longest playoff droughts the Raiders at 13 seasons and the Bills at 16 years without post season action. Oakland's Derek Carr is one of my favorites but he dislocated his pinky on his throwing hand last week and that bothers me. The Bills have the type of offense that can exploit the Raiders porous rushing defense. Hey, what the heck the last time Buffalo won here was 1966. Number is very low, I'll take it! Give me BUFFALO! |
12-04-16 | Texans +6.5 v. Packers | 13-21 | Loss | -108 | 15 h 11 m | Show
Houston at Green Bay 1:00 ET Texans (+) over Packers- Not a bad spot for 'us' here going against the Packers after their Monday Night win in Philadelphia 27-13. Everyone had Green Bay 'dead' last week after four straight losses and now 'they' are all-over the Cheese Heads! Houston meanwhile will really be that good as their coaching is weak but they can play defense. Texans in desperate straights needing a win to stay in range for the playoffs. Houston got pounded at home against the Chargers last week off their loss to the Raiders in Mexico. They come to play today. Take HOUSTON! |
12-04-16 | Lions v. Saints -6 | 28-13 | Loss | -105 | 14 h 29 m | Show
Detroit at New Orleans 1:00 ET Saints (-) over Lions- Among all the noise being made about teams on winning streaks (Dolphins and Giants) the Lions have roared in winning six of their last seven while the Saints have been improving weekly. Detroit has come from behind in the fourth quarter in all seven of their wins and lead their division by a full game. Matthew Stafford has been great (really) but he will be schooled by a master Sunday in New Orleans as Drew Brees is better then ever and that's saying something. Home-cooking...Take NEW ORLEANS! |
12-01-16 | Cowboys v. Vikings +3 | Top | 17-15 | Win | 110 | 10 h 52 m | Show |
Dallas at Minnesota 8:25 ET Vikings (+) over Cowboys- Dallas has now won 10 in-a-row and can clinch a playoff spot with a win in Minnesota. This is the Cowboys third game in 12 days and so will the Vikings. After starting 5-0 the Vikings have dropped five of six and are now one-game behind Detroit in the NFC Central. Tony Romo is in the wings but it os doubtful he will see any action unless something drastic happens to Dak Prescott who has 18 touchdown passes and only two interceptions. Minnesota has struggled offensively but have the second best scoring defense in the league at 17.5 points. Sam Bradford says 'we should open up the playbook and they will. Take the VIKINGS |
11-28-16 | Packers +4 v. Eagles | 27-13 | Win | 100 | 11 h 33 m | Show
Green Bay at Philadelphia 8:30 ET Packers (+) over Eagles- Philadelphia opened the season with three straight wins and all the league was a flutter about rookie Carson Wentz but they have lost five of their last seven and are now in the basement in the NFC East. Green Bay meanwhile has lost four straight and they look bad doing it. Aaron Rogers just doesn't look the same and many believe that it is because of the players surrounding him and some think that he's physically impaired but he says that things are fine. Well, we will find out tonight as the Packers regroup. Take GREEN BAY! |
11-27-16 | Patriots v. Jets +8.5 | Top | 22-17 | Win | 100 | 23 h 50 m | Show |
New England at New York Jets 4:25 ET Jets (+) over Patriots- Okay, straight-up I don't see how anybody can beat the Patriots if Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady are healthy and playing. I mean really Gronk is like Frankenstein out there he controls so much space and Brady doesn't need much room to complete a pass. The Jets who are out of playoff contention will start Ryan Fitzpatrick who split the pair last year but leads the league in interceptions. New England is 5-0 on the road while New York is 1-3 at home, those number will come closer together starting this afternoon. Take the J-E-T-S! |
11-27-16 | Seahawks v. Bucs +6 | Top | 5-14 | Win | 100 | 23 h 39 m | Show |
Seattle at Tampa Bay 4:05 ET Buccaneers (+) over Seahawks- Break-up the Buc's! Tampa Bay has won two in-a-row and is at .500 looking to make trouble in the NFC. Jameis Winston always seems to be in the mix as he has accounted for at least one touchdown running or passing in his last 26 games. The Seahawks are off three straight wins including a Sunday night at New England and Buffalo and Philadelphia at home. With Carolina up next at home where they are 5-0 Seattle might be 'peeking'. Look for the Buccaneers to come hard and pull out the win. Take TAMPA BAY! |
11-27-16 | Titans v. Bears +6 | 27-21 | Push | 0 | 20 h 57 m | Show
Tennessee at Chicago 1:00 ET Bears (+) over Titans- A match-up of two also-rans, although Tennessee still has a chance because of their weak division. The Titans Marcus Mariota is maturing before out very eyes as he has 23 touchdowns and only eight interceptions in this his second season. Chicago hung tough against the Giants last week and eked out a 'cover' but failed to score a point in the second half. The Bears are pretty beat-up physically and Matt Barkley will make his first career start. Now, like I said last week when the Rams started Goff at QB that I would rather play against a first-time starting quarterbacks. The thing is about the Bears what difference does it makes who starts this whole team reeks. But, they are 2-2 at home and will rally together for this win. Take CHICAGO! |
11-27-16 | Giants v. Browns +7 | 27-13 | Loss | -110 | 20 h 40 m | Show
New York Giants at Cleveland 1:00 ET Browns (+) over Giants- HA! I know, but only because it's New York. I mean if Cleveland were to win a game this season who would they most likely beat? It won't happen against the elites but a team like the Giants how have over-achieved (I am a fan but I don't believe they are that 7-3 good) and could get caught here. I remember the days when Jim Brown would carry the Giants famous defense of the 50's and 60's but these Giants play smaller. Although the Browns will most likely start Kevin Hogan and this kid know how to win. Take CLEVELAND! |
11-27-16 | Cardinals +6 v. Falcons | Top | 19-38 | Loss | -115 | 20 h 48 m | Show |
Arizona at Atlanta 1:00 ET Cardinals (+) over Falcons- If any of you have been around this season you know that I have no regard for Arizona and that I have stated they are a hoax and will never win with Carson Palmer as your leader. That being said after seeing them play last week (we had the winner with the Vikings) a loss where they dominated the play but had a pick-6 at the goal line, a kick return and a flea-flicker go for touchdowns against them. Atlanta seems to be doing the same old time getting off to a quick start and them fading as the season wears on. Matt Ryan is having the best season of his career and it won't be enough today. Take ARIZONA! |
11-24-16 | Steelers v. Colts +10 | 28-7 | Loss | -127 | 21 h 1 m | Show
Pittsburgh at Indianapolis 8:30 ET Colts (+) over Steelers- I'm kinda upset with my side here as I was ready to use Indianapolis as the Top-rated release but with the current quarterback situation for the Colts I have to back-off a bit. I have always stated that 'teams' win games and not the individuals who play it. If that makes any sense, so therefore I an inclined to stay with my first instinct. This is a huge game for Indy with a national audience, home crowd and a chance to shine. Somehow...the COLTS! |
11-24-16 | Vikings +2.5 v. Lions | 13-16 | Loss | -104 | 16 h 11 m | Show
Minnesota at Detroit 12:30 ET Vikings (+) over Lions- Understanding that turn-about is fair-play I must take the Vikings here. 'We' were on the Lions (+6) in Week #9 and they put Minnesota away 22-16 in overtime. So, even though they leave much to be desired with the worst offense in the NFL, I believe the visitor is the side here. Detroit has trailed in the fourth quarter every game has pulled out six wins The problem is they don't run the ball anymore (14 yards last wk vs Jax) and the Vikings defense will beat one-dimension offenses. The Lions have won and covered their last three Thanksgiving Day games and that's enough. Take MINNESOTA! |
11-21-16 | Texans +6 v. Raiders | 20-27 | Loss | -104 | 11 h 41 m | Show
Houston vs Oakland 8:30 ET Texans (+) over Raiders- This could be considered a road game for both squads as they play this contest in Mexico City. The Raiders do not mind playing one of their home games here as they are 5-0 on the road. Even though Houston acquired Brock Osweiler in the off season they have the worst passing attack in the NFL averaging just 187.3 yards per game, although he did throw for 308 yards against Oakland last season when he played with Denver. Derek Carr has come into his own with 17 touchdown passes and only three interceptions. The Texans will use their strong running game and defense to compete here and get the money. Take HOUSTON! |

11-20-16 | Eagles +6.5 v. Seahawks | 15-26 | Loss | -107 | 22 h 54 m | Show
Philadelphia at Seattle 4:25 ET Eagles (+) over Seahawks- Both these clubs are off defeating division leaders as the Eagles flew over the Falcons at home while Seattle took care of the Patriots Sunday night in New England. For the Seahawks it was a great emotional win as they turned the tables on the Patriots with a goal line stand in the final second for the win. Seattle may lead the NFL in scoring defense allowing just 17.6 points per contest but Philadelphia is right behind them allowing just 17.8 points. Teams after defeating New England are just 11-18 ATS next time out. A slugfest where points will be at a minimum. Take the points. Take the EAGLES! |
11-20-16 | Patriots v. 49ers +12 | 30-17 | Loss | -110 | 22 h 44 m | Show
New England at San Francisco 4:25 ET 49ers (+) over Patriots- I can't believe that I'm doing this, I promised myself after beating New England last Sunday night I would just take the money and run. Instead I'm running with the cash to play one of most disappointing team to back with your cash. But, hey I'm playing with 'his' money now. The Pats might be without Gronkowski but he has a huge replacement in Martellus Bennett who make a huge target himself. Listen, Tom Brady who leads the league in completion percentage (72.9) and passer rating (125.5) can do what he wants against the 49ers defense that ranks last in the NFL in total yards (429.7) and rushing yards (180.4) allowed. So. What is this? Why would I take the Niners here. Well, the Pats opened 13.5 and the 'sharps' in Las Vegas have the public laying 11.5. Niners play close this week. Take SAN FRANCISCO! |
11-20-16 | Dolphins v. Rams +2 | Top | 14-10 | Loss | -103 | 22 h 36 m | Show |
Miami at Los Angeles 4:05 ET Rams (+) over Dolphins- Man, I've been sitting on this one since last Sunday night. First, I heard good news, 'that Miami was not returning to Florida” but were staying in California for the week. Now, that may seem like a good idea to you but for a football team from the east or south for that matter does not establish a good mindset. Think about it spending a week in the land of 'fruits and nuts' where everything is so laid-back you begin to think about La-La Land. Of course then came the bad news...a rookie starter. That for ions has been a 'kiss-of-death' to bettors. Okay, so Jared Goff gets the start against a team that has won their last fur. But, the Rams can play defense and together will rally around their new leader and pull out the victory! Take LOS ANGELES! |
11-20-16 | Jaguars +6 v. Lions | 19-26 | Loss | -105 | 18 h 4 m | Show
Jacksonville at Detroit 1:00 ET Jaguars (+) over Lions- Who really believed that the Detroit Lions would be tied for the NFC North division lead entering week 11? I never gave it a thought. But, here we are. Now, we see that T.J Yeldon leads Jacksonville in rushing with a paltry 285 on the season and along with Chris Ivory they have two whole running touchdowns leaving them 26th in the league which believe it or not in one spot above the Lions. Blake Bortles was supposed to lead his club to the playoff and now they have lost four straight committing mistake after mistake (11 interceptions). Detroit is 6-20 straight-up and 8-18 ATS before they meet the Vikings. So, somehow they will get there. I just can't lay it with the Lions. Take JACKSONVILLE! |
11-17-16 | Saints v. Panthers -3 | 20-23 | Push | 0 | 10 h 51 m | Show
New Orleans at Carolina 8:30 ET Panthers (-) over Saints- Sunday night both these clubs looked back on their days work and said 'how in the world did we f..k that up?' Carolina blew a 17-point lead without giving up a defensive touchdown and New Orleans did not win because they couldn't execute an extra-point as a matter of fact they allowed the opposition to score on a blocked return. Which of these two is more able to recover? Maybe it doesn't matter as one side can play defense and the other can not! The Saints have the fourth worst defense surrendering 401 yards per game and Cam Newton has enough weapons to out last New Orleans. Take the PANTHERS! |
11-13-16 | Seahawks +7.5 v. Patriots | 31-24 | Win | 100 | 23 h 3 m | Show
Seattle at New England 8:25 ET Seahawks (+) over Patriots- The Patriots have not lost a wager since the return of Tom Brady and it as if he's playing with a monster 'chip-on-his-shoulder' and might be sending a message to Roger Goodell. Seattle has been very fortune at 5-2-1 and has a grudge and a score to settle against New England going back to the Super Bowl two years ago. The Seahawks are 3-0 against the AFC East defeating Miami, Buffalo and the New York Jets but haven't faced a quarterback like Tom Brady who has 12 TD passes and zero interceptions. Off of their Monday night performance and now a healthy Russell Wilson is 9-3-1 ATS as a regular season underdog. Take SEATTLE! |
11-13-16 | Cowboys v. Steelers -3 | 35-30 | Loss | -105 | 20 h 15 m | Show
Dallas at Pittsburgh 4:25 ET Steelers (+) over Cowboys- Well, we know one thing for sure about this contest and that is Dak Prescott with be starting at quarterback against Dallas. Tony Romo is beginning to make his presence felt as he is taking more and more reps in the Cowboys practices and appears to be just about fully recovered from his back injury. Pittsburgh has had quarterback injury problems of their own but Ben Roethlisberger's replace has not been as efficient as the Cowboys replacement. It took Big Ben three quarters to work off the rust last week against the Ravens and he will be good to go here. The Steelers always have given the Cowboys fits and they are 11-1 straight-up and 12-0 ATS after playing the Ravens and beat goes on here. Take PITTSBURGH! |
11-13-16 | Dolphins +4.5 v. Chargers | Top | 31-24 | Win | 100 | 21 h 45 m | Show |
Miami at San Diego 4:05 ET Dolphins (+) over Chargers- With a new found running game behind Jay Ajayi Miami has won three straight as they travel cross country to battle San Diego. The Dolphins have yet to post a road victory as all four of their wins came at home as they produced 222, 256 and 137 yards rushing their last three games. San Diego has a running game of their own as Melvin Gordon has 768 yards rushing on the season. This should be a close one and I see the newly inspired Dolphins getting the money. Take MIAMI! |
11-13-16 | Texans v. Jaguars -2.5 | 24-21 | Loss | -110 | 17 h 47 m | Show
Houston at Jacksonville 1:00 ET Jaguars (+) over Texans- It's hard for me to believe that Houston is at the top of the AFC South but they are as they visit the last place team in their division. Jacksonville has dropped their last three games and are winless at home (0-3). The Texans have struggled on offense failing to reach 300 total yards on offense in four of their last six games but have managed to score on defense in each of their last three games. Jacksonville picked up their offense last week against the Chiefs rushing for a season high 205 yards behind running back Chris Ivory with T.J. Yeldon sharing the work load. This time around it's the JAGUARS! |
11-13-16 | Falcons v. Eagles +1 | 15-24 | Win | 100 | 17 h 47 m | Show
Atlanta at Philadelphia 1:00 ET Eagles (+) over Falcons- The Atlanta Falcons behind Matt Ryan have the no. 1 offense in the NFL as he leads with 23 touchdowns and 2,980 passing yards as well as the top scoring offense at 34 points per game. The Eagles have lost four of five since their quick 3-0 start behind rookie quarterback Carson Wentz but are in a perfect spot to pull of a win here as Atlanta is off an easy encounter against Tampa Bay. And are 1-7 ATS as an underdog after playing the Bucs. This is the 4th week in a row that the Eagles will be playing an opponent with extra rest but they will overcome it this week. Take PHILALDEPHIA! |
11-13-16 | Packers v. Titans +3 | Top | 25-47 | Win | 100 | 18 h 55 m | Show |
Green Bay at Tennessee 1:00 ET Titans (+) over Packers- The Packers have dropped their last two and everybody seems to be piling on Aaron Rogers but when you look at the stats the Green Bay problem shouldn't fall on him. Rogers has 10 TD passes and only one interception. The Packers problem is their running game as they have gone to wide receiver Ty Montgomery as running back due to Eddie Lacy's season ending injury. Injuries are taking their toll as Jared Cook was been sidelined, linebacker Clay Mathews is missing practice and Jordy Nelson has not returned to form after missing last season. Packers missing to much and Titans capitalize. Take TENNESSEE! |
11-10-16 | Browns v. Ravens -7.5 | 7-28 | Win | 100 | 10 h 57 m | Show
Cleveland at Baltimore 8:25 ET Ravens (-) over Browns- The Cleveland Browns have reached the season's half way point and still are without a victory and they are looking worst as the year moves on. In week two the Browns held a 20-2 first quarter lead over the Ravens only to succumb 25-20. Baltimore ended a four-game losing streak against an under-manned Steelers squad but it helped add the confidence that the Ravens need to get back in the playoff hunt. It was Baltimore's defense (as usual) that made the difference against Pittsburgh and the Browns just don't have the fire-power to compete here. Take the RAVENS! |
11-07-16 | Bills +6.5 v. Seahawks | 25-31 | Win | 100 | 9 h 57 m | Show
Buffalo at Seattle 8:30 ET Bills (+) over Seahawks- Both these clubs are coming off defeats with the Bills having lost their last two to division rivals New England and Buffalo while the Seahawks dropped their last outing to the Saints in New Orleans but they are 3-0 at home. Buffalo who has had injury problems on offense signed versatile wide receiver Percey Harvin who spent parts of two seasons with Seattle. The Seahawks defense my be one of the best but their offense is one of the worst but defensive end Michael Bennett is out along with Kam Chancellor. Take BUFFALO! |
11-06-16 | Panthers v. Rams +3 | 13-10 | Push | 0 | 22 h 59 m | Show
Carolina at L.A. Rams 4:05 ET Rams (+) over Panthers- Now, that the Panthers broke their four game losing streak with a win over Arizona most expect them to get back into the hunt. I don't necessarily believe that is true. Los Angeles a week to prepare after three straight losses and playing at home will help as Carolina is 0-3 on the road this season. Cam Newton is finding out 'payback is a bitch' as his antics of last season are coming back to haunt him as his brethren look to show him some humility. Look for the Rams to surprise the Panthers here. Take LOS ANGELES! |
11-06-16 | Saints v. 49ers +5 | Top | 41-23 | Loss | -110 | 22 h 51 m | Show |
New Orleans at San Francisco 4:05 ET 49ers (+) over Saints- Since dropping their first three games New Orleans has comeback to win three of four going 4-0 ATS and are off a gritty home win over Seattle. The 49ers who won their opener over the Rame 20-0 haven't been competitive since losing six in a row. San Francisco will have the return of Carlo Hyde and he will be needed to control the ball and keep it out of the hands of the league's top-ranking passing offense led by Drew Brees. San Francisco has won three of the last four meetings and will have everybody's favorite Colin Kaepernick under center. Somehow, the Niners get ti done here. Take SAN FRANCISCO! |
11-06-16 | Eagles v. Giants -2.5 | 23-28 | Win | 100 | 19 h 1 m | Show
Philadelphia at New York Giants 1:00 ET Giants (-) over Eagles- What an emotional letdown for the Eagles last Sunday as they blew a 10-point fourth quarter lead at Dallas and then lost by a touchdown in overtime. (that qualities as a bad beat for the bettors that took 5). The Giants have posted three straight wins and have had an extra week to prepare as their last games was against the Rams in London two weeks ago. Philadelphia has lost their early season 'mojo' as week as wide receiver Josh Huff who was arrested on weapons charges and they couldn't blame Chip Kelly. New York is starting to put a running game together and get the win here. Take the GIANTS! |
11-06-16 | Lions v. Vikings -6.5 | 22-16 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 33 m | Show
Detroit at Minnesota 1:00 ET Vikings (-) over Lions- Minnesota has lost two straight after a 5-0 start and 'we' were their both times with huge winners including Game of the Year Chicago 20-10 on Monday. Injuries have certainly been a part of the Vikings losses as their defense must come to their rescue here. They have scored just 10 points in each of their two defeats as San Bradford no longer looks like the answer, but he has been outstanding at home averaging 273 yards passing with five TD passes and no interceptions. Take MINNESOTA! |
11-03-16 | Falcons v. Bucs +4 | Top | 43-28 | Loss | -107 | 34 h 26 m | Show |
Atlanta at Tampa Bay 8:25 ET Buccaneers (+) over Falcons- This has always been weird one as has had success against Atlanta with Jameis Winston leading Tampa Bay to three straight home wins in this series. These two opened the season against each other as the Buccaneers surprised the Falcons in the Georgia Dome 31-24 as Winston threw for our touchdowns. Atlanta has the No.1 offense in the NFL as Matt Ryan leads the league in yards (2,636) and touchdowns (19). A bit of inside info here as Tampa Bay coach Dirk Koetter in former Falcons offensive coordinator while Mike Smith is a former coach of Atlanta as well. Take the BUCCANEERS! |
10-31-16 | Vikings v. Bears +4.5 | Top | 10-20 | Win | 100 | 28 h 38 m | Show |
Minnesota at Chicago 8:30 ET Bears (+) over Vikings- Oh Boy! Jay Cutler returns and Bears fans everywhere are shuttering. Minnesota has had eight full days to stew over their first loss of the season last week against the Eagles. Chicago meanwhile just continues to be their miserable selves failing not only to win be even be somewhat respectable (1-6 ) against the points. Most will think that the Vikings will be ready to bounce bad after incurring their first loss of the season last week in Philadelphia but after that loss burst your bubble it is difficult to get 'up.' The Bears have looked so bad and need as professional to show up in this 'Monday Nighter'. Take CHICAGO! |
10-30-16 | Eagles +5 v. Cowboys | 23-29 | Loss | -110 | 28 h 27 m | Show
Philadelphia at Dallas 8:30 ET Eagles (+) over Cowboys- These two are the main contenders in the NFC East as the Eagles ended a two-game losing streak by beating previously undefeated Minnesota. A pair of impressive rookie quarterbacks square off as Carson Wentz who has cooled off after a great start is opposed by Dak Prescott and rookie running back Ezeliel Elliot and a defense that has held four straight opponents to 17 points or less. The Eagles on the other hand has allowed four of their six opposition 14 points or fewer. This game will go a long way to deciding who will represent the NFC East. Take the EAGLES! |
10-30-16 | Chargers v. Broncos -4 | 19-27 | Win | 100 | 24 h 44 m | Show
San Diego at Denver 4:05 ET Broncos (-) over Chargers- Having posted two straight wins San Diego has plenty of confidence as they enter Mile High looking for their first series sweep of Denver wince 2010. The Broncos are off a dominating performance over the Texans Monday night winning 27-9 and look for revenge over the Chargers who defeated them on a Thursday night 21-13 just two weeks ago. 'We' had a Best Bet winner with the 'Bolts' that night and now we play against them as the Broncos even the season series. Take DENVER! |
10-30-16 | Raiders v. Bucs +1 | 30-24 | Loss | -105 | 21 h 29 m | Show
Oakland at Tampa Bay 1:00 ET Buccaneers over Raiders- Hard to believe that the Raiders are 4-0 on the road and just 1-2 in Oakland as they travel to Florida to battle another imposter in the Buccaneers. After defeating Jacksonville 33-16 on the road last week we realize that victory isn't as solid as it first appeared as the Jaguars have proven to be little opposition. Tampa Bay has not been a winner at home going 3-15 straight-ip in their last 18 as hosts but somehow will squeak out a win here. Take TAMPA BAY! |
10-30-16 | Chiefs v. Colts +3 | 30-14 | Loss | -120 | 21 h 16 m | Show
Kansas City at Indianapolis 1:00 ET Colts (+) over Chiefs- Kansas City seems to have left that 43-14 beating at the hands of the Steelers behind them as they have won two straight after a bye week to mend their wounds. Indianapolis has won two of their last three including their implosion in the final 3-minutes against Houston in their overtime Sunday night loss two weeks ago. The Colts have won five of their last six meetings including a remarkable 45-44 win in the 2013 Wild Card game where the Chiefs blew a 38-10 lead. The beat goes on here. Take the COLTS! |
