08-21-16 | Nationals -1.5 v. Braves | 6-7 | Loss | -100 | 3 h 29 m | Show
Washington has dominated the series the past two seasons, winning 25 of the 31 meetings - including an 11-1 mark against Atlanta this year. Nationals LH Gio Gonzalez is 3-1 with a 2.97 ERA since the All-Star break and the team is 38-16 vs. the National League East. Atlanta has a weak offense for Braves young starter Joel De La Cruz (0-6). And the Braves are 18-44 in their last 62 home games. Play Washington on the Run Line. |

07-31-16 | Toronto +11 v. Ottawa | 23-20 | Win | 100 | 33 h 16 m | Show
7/31 04:30 PM CFL (307) TORONTO VS (308) OTTAWA REDBLACKS. Take: (307) TORONTO. Reason: Ottawa has quarterback injuries for this one: Henry Burris has been out since Week 1 with an injured pinky finger on his throwing hand, while Trevor Harris left Saturday's loss to the Riders with a knee injury. Toronto is in town having a strong season, including 2-0 on the road. They are off a 30-17 win over Montreal on Monday night. Quarterback Ricky Ray is out, but 26-year-old Logan Kilgore played well. It was Kilgore's presence on the roster that allowed the Argos to move Gale to Saskatchewan in a trade for defensive end Shawn Lemon. And the Argonauts are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games. Play Toronto. |

07-23-16 | Hamilton +4.5 v. Edmonton | 37-31 | Win | 100 | 107 h 20 m | Show
A pair of strong offensive teams clash. Hamilton is averaging 25 ppg and is unbeaten on the road, as well as 13-4 ATS in their last 17 road games. Edmonton has taken a step back from last year's championship team, losing some key talent. They've been outscored on the season despite a 2-1 record. The Eskimos are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games. And the Tiger-Cats are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 meetings in Edmonton. Play Hamilton. |
|||||||
07-22-16 | Ottawa -6 v. Saskatchewan | 29-30 | Loss | -106 | 85 h 20 m | Show
Ottawa looks like the best team in the league and they are the only undefeated squad left. The offense is electric behind QB Trevor Harris. Harris connected on 28-of-31 passes for 392 yards and no interceptions in last week's 30-20 win at Toronto. Greg Ellingson, who had nine receptions for 218 yards, was Harris' favorite target for the night and the star for Ottawa's offense. Ottawa is on an 8-1 ATS run, including 6-0 ATS on the road. Saskatchewan is struggling everywhere, winless on the season. The Roughriders are on 7-22-1 ATS run, plus 13-35-3 ATS in their last 51 games following a straight up loss. Play Ottawa. |
|||||||
07-21-16 | Calgary -5 v. Winnipeg | 33-18 | Win | 100 | 61 h 1 m | Show
Winnipeg gave defending champion Edmonton a game last week, losing 20-16. But don't be fooled: they blew a 10-0 lead and allowed 450 yards passing. Winnipeg has struggled all year at 1-3. The Blue Bombers are on a 1-6 spread run, 8-18-3 ATS in their last 29 home games. The Blue Bombers meanwhile find themselves sitting at 1-3, with the always-tough Calgary Stampeders coming to town in week 5. Calgary's defense is playing great allowing 68 points in three games. The Stampeders are on a 6-2 ATS run, 4-0 ATS vs. a team with a losing record. And the Stampeders are 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Winnipeg. Pay Calgary. |

|||||||
07-16-16 | Giants -1.5 v. Padres | 6-7 | Loss | -102 | 17 h 28 m | Show
The Giants ended the 1st half of the season red-hot, winning four straight and eight of 10. The Giants are the best team in baseball right now with a 57-34 record. Their pitching staff is one of the best, ranked 5th in baseball in ERA (3.55), 3rd in quality starts (54), 4th in WHIP (1.21) and 6th in BAA (.245). The Giants lost on Saturday with their ace, Madison Bumgarner on the hill. The Giants lost as a 2.20 favorite, scoring just one run in a 4-1 loss. Today the Giants will send Jeff Samardzija to the hill. Samardzija was in need of a good start after three starts where he was roughed-up for 16 runs over 16.1 innings. And, he got it, with a nice start last time out over the D'backs. Samardzija allowed just two runs for the win. With the trade deadline looming, the Padres could be looking to deal some players, especially Drew Pomerance who is arguably their best pitcher. Luis Perdomo gets the go today for the friars. Perdomo has got hit hard this year, posting a 7.48 ERA and 1.98 WHIP. Perdomo is 2-2 at home with a 9.70 ERA and BAA of .392 this season. With the Padres winning on Friday, I doubt they can put together two straight against the MLB's top team - especially with Perdomo on the hill. The line is too big to play straight, so lay the -1.5 runs with the Giants. |
|||||||
07-16-16 | BC +2 v. Saskatchewan | 40-27 | Win | 100 | 103 h 37 m | Show
Winless Saskatchewan scored 36 points last week, but what does that matter if you can't stop anyone? They've allowed 30 and 39 points in two games. The Roughriders are on a 7-21-1 ATS run, 15-39-3 ATS in their last 57 games following a straight up loss. British Columbia (2-1) has plenty of defense and balance on offense, 4-1 ATS on the road. The Lions are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up loss. Play BC. |
|||||||
07-15-16 | Giants -1.5 v. Padres | 1-4 | Loss | -114 | 13 h 37 m | Show
The Giants begin their quest for another World Series title today as they begin the 2nd half of the season. The Giants finished the first half red-hot, winning four straight and eight of 10. The Giants are the best team in baseball right now with a 57-33 record. Their pitching staff is one of the best, ranked 5th in baseball in ERA (3.55), 3rd in quality starts (54), 4th in WHIP (1.21) and 6th in BAA (.245). The Giants send their ace (or one of them) to the hill toda in Madison Bumgarner. Â Bumgarner is 10-4 with a nifty 1.94 ERA and 0.96 WHIP. The southpaw has not allowed a run over his last 15 innings with just five hits, three walks and 20 KO's. Bumgarner is coming off his most dominant performance of the season, a complete game shutout win of the Dimaondbacks, where he allowed just one hit and struck out 14 batters. The Padres finished the 1st half losing three straight games and now are 18.5 back of the Giants. With the trade deadline looming, the Padres could be looking to deal some players, especially Drew Pomerance who is arguably their best pitcher. Andrew Cashner will start today. Cashner has struggled this season to a 3-7 record and 5.40 ERA. Cashner got rocked in his last start, allowing eight runs (4 home runs) in just 2.2 innings to the Dodgers. In addition, Cashner is 0-2 this season against the Giants with a 6.23 ERA. As much as I love the Giants here today, I can't lay the big price. However, I can play them -1.5 runs and get a full nine innings of hitting. Take San Francisco on the RUN LINE today. Â |

07-13-16 | Ottawa +1 v. Toronto | 30-20 | Win | 100 | 31 h 58 m | Show
The Unbeaten Ottawa RedBlacks (2-0-1) have been impressive, winning a pair of road games to open the season. They come off a strange 26-26 tie at home last week, but this is still a dynamite offense. RedBlacks quarterback Trevor Harris was sensational again, 39-50 for 394 yards. The RedBlacks are on a 7-1 ATS run, including 5-0 ATS on the road. They face a Toronto team playing well but now has to face the top offense in the league. The Argonauts are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 home games. Play Ottawa. |
|||||||
07-10-16 | Indiana Fever v. Seattle Storm +1.5 | 93-82 | Loss | -110 | 24 h 53 m | Show
Indiana has a bad offense, 10th in the league in scoring, and plays its sixth road game over the last seven contests. Seattle plays its best basketball at home, winning two of its last three here, and comes home from a 3-game trip, off a victory at San Antonio. Play Seattle. |
|||||||
07-10-16 | Phoenix Mercury v. Chicago Sky -2 | 95-100 | Win | 100 | 23 h 53 m | Show
 Phoenix is a long way from home and the Mercury are 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record. Chicago plays its third home game of a stretch playing 6 of 7 at home, making this a great situational spot for the home team. Play Chicago. |

06-19-16 | Cavs +5 v. Warriors | 93-89 | Win | 100 | 10 h 52 m | Show
The Cleveland Cavaliers are healthier and have taken charge in the series, winning the last two games. LeBron  James is averaging 30.2 points, 11.3 rebounds and 8.5 assists in the series and rose his play to even higher levels with Cleveland facing elimination. Point guard Kyrie Irving also has performed well in the series with three 30-point outings while averaging 27.3 points. Golden State is home but has had injury problems, with its starting center out, and Andre Iguodola banged up. The Cavaliers are 19-8 ATS in their last 27 games vs. a team with a winning percentage above .600, so grab the talented and confident dog. Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr has said that he would want LeBron James playing for him in a game 7. Lets see if that comes back to bite him. Play Cleveland. |

05-31-16 | Dodgers v. Cubs -1.5 | 5-0 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 7 m | Show
The Cubs continue their dominance in baseball with the best record at 35-14 and a 6.5 game lead over the Pirates. The Cubs beat the Dodgers on Sunday, 2-0, for their sixth win in a row. The Cubs have been doing this with both hitting and pitching. Their hitting ranks first in on base percentage (.359), third in runs (275) and top 10 in both batting average and slugging. Their pitching staff is first in ERA (2.60), WHIP (1.05) and opponent BAA (.201) with quality starts at third. Their ace and Cy Young lock at this point starts today in Jake Arrieta. The 30-year-old is 9-0 (1st in majors) with a 1.72 ERA (2nd) and 0.90 WHIP (2nd). The Dodgers had been playing better, winning six of seven games. That was before coming to Wrigley. After losing the opening they now face Arrieta with Scott Kazmir. Kazmir is 4-3 with LA and has a 4.84 ERA. Kazmir is coming off his best performance of the season, allowing just one run to the Reds over six innings with 12 KO's. The price is way too high at minus two bucks or greater. However, I look for Arrieta to shut down the Dodgers here today and the offense to get some runs off of Kazmir. I'm going to lay the 1.5 runs with Chicago. |
|||||||
05-30-16 | Thunder v. Warriors -7 | Top | 88-96 | Win | 100 | 25 h 0 m | Show |
The Oklahoma City Thunder did not want this game to happen. And, it looked for the majority of game six that it wouldn't. The Thunder led game six by five points at half and finished the third quarter up by eight. Midway through the fourth quarter, it looked like the Thunder might just be going to the finals, as they led by seven points. However, this is where things fell apart for the Thunder. Golden State, led by Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson tied the game with just under three minutes. Thompson set a playoff record with 11 three-points in a game and outscored the Thunder by 15 points to win going away 108-101. Now the clubs return to Northern California where the Thunder will almost certainly have a major letdown. That's what I'm counting on here, that and the knowledge that Golden State won't let the Thunder beat them twice on their home court. Thompson and curry combined for 70 points to lead the Warriors to the win. Favorites of 5 or more points on their home court in game 7 are 22-8 ATS. I'm taking the Warriors here tonight. Get on this line early, because the price will go up on the Warriors. Play Golden State |
|||||||
05-28-16 | Warriors v. Thunder -2.5 | Top | 108-101 | Loss | -110 | 27 h 22 m | Show |
 Golden State had a series saving game on Thursday with a win over the Thunder, 120-111. Now the Warriors have to do something they haven't this entire series, win at Oklahoma City. It's a win or go home game for the Warriors. One thing the Warriors have done is slow down the game a bit. Sure, then wen't over in game 5, but that required big 2nd and 4th quarters to do so. The Warriors also stayed "big" in game five, keeping their small-ball squad on the bench as they went with size. The Thunder will have to improve on what turned out to be one of their worst performances of the season in the pain on Thursday. The Thunder, despite the game 5 loss, are still a very confident team in their ability to beat Golden State. Tonight's game really is a MUST-WIN spot for the Thunder. They realize that going back to Northern Cal will likely result in a game seven loss. Tonight's contest could be the most important in Oklahoma City history and I'm taking them here tonight laying the short number. |

Home court has dominated the last week and most have been blowouts, as we saw again last night with Cleveland. he losses in Games 3 and 4 marked the Warriors first back-to-back setbacks this season. The Warriors are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 home games, plus 35-17 ATS following a straight up loss. And the Thunder are 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings in Golden State. Play the Warriors. |

Reason: The Cleveland Cavaliers are the only team in the post season that has cruised through every game. The Cavs are a perfect 8-0 and well rested for their Conference finals. On the other end, the Raptors have had to go a full seven games against Indiana and Miami to make it here. Cleveland has had eight days off to prepare and rest for tonight's contest. The Cavs haven't had to totally rely on Lebron James this time, as Kyrie Irving (24.4 ppg) and Kevin Love (18.9 ppg) have both been big contributors. Cleveland has also been red-hot from beyond the 3-point arc, hitting 77 3-points against the Hawks in their four game series. Cleveland has also played great defense in the postseason, holding their opponent to under 100 points in seven of their eight games. The Raptors are just 3-8 ATS their last 11 games, while the Cavs have covered six of their last eight home games. I love this spot for the Cavaliers, well rested players who are hitting on all cylinders. Toronto is over-matched in this contest. Play Cleveland. |

05/16 06:05 PM NBA (701) OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER VS (702) GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS Take: (701) OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER Reason: Oklahoma City matches up well with star power in Durant and Westbrook. The Thunder are 12-3 ATS in their last 15 when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous game, plus 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games. Golden State won all three regular season meetings, but they were all close in the fourth quarter, with one game going OT. Play Oklahoma City in Game 1. |

05-09-16 | Warriors v. Blazers +5 | 132-125 | Loss | -115 | 20 h 54 m | Show
Portland looks to even their series with the Golden State Warriors at 2-2 here tonight. The Warriors had anticipated the return of Stephen Curry tonight. However, now that doesn't look to the case, as Curry was downgraded to doubtful tonight. The Warriors usually stellar defense was non-existent in game three, allowing 120 points to the Blazers. Warriors power forward Draymond Green pulled few punches about his team's chances in game four. The All-Star forward has called their opponent "out of its depth" and without "self-belief" and went as far as to predict a win tonight. The Warriors will have to do better defending the perimeter, after allowing the Blazers 17-three point shots. If anything really became apparent, it was that this Warriors club need Curry back in the lineup. With that not happening tonight, I'll take the home team here again as I did in game three. Take Portland. |

05-09-16 | Raptors v. Heat -5.5 | 87-94 | Win | 100 | 18 h 34 m | Show
Game four here from Miami with the Raptors leading the series, 2-1. Miami blew a big opportunity to go up 2-0 after losing their OT game in game two. The Raptors then took game three of the series, 95-91. The Heat are in a must win spot here as the series will return to Canada for game five on Wednesday. If the Heat win tonight, then this series becomes a best of three. As for the Raptors, somehow they have made it thus far. They were outscored in the Indiana series and in the post season they are being outscored 93-94 over the 10 games. In addition, they are hitting just 28.6% from beyond the 3-point arc. The Raptors will also be without their center, Jonas Valanciunas, who will miss the remainder of the playoffs with a sprained knee. Not only will the big center be missed in the paint, but his presence as a thorn in the side of the Heat will also be gone. Miami has been tough at home, covering nine of the last 11. Heat have a big advantage in their starting five and experience and now how to win big games. Take the Heat here in game four. |

05-01-16 | Pacers +6 v. Raptors | Top | 84-89 | Win | 100 | 9 h 26 m | Show |
Big game 7 here today between the Pacers and Raptors. The Raptors finished the season with the No 2 spot in the East and were expected to roll past this Indiana squad. However, the playoffs have never been kind to Toronto and now all the pressure will be on the Raptors. Toronto has not survived a first round match since 2001 and that is when it was best of five. The Pacers have also been dominating the boards. After losing the rebound battle the first three games, the Pacers inserted Myles Turner into the starting lineup and the 6-foot-11 rookie has shut down Toronto's big man in Jonas Valanciunas. With all the pressure on the Raptors here and the Pacers winning the boards the last three games, I'll take the points with Indiana. |

05-01-16 | Blazers v. Warriors -9 | 106-118 | Win | 100 | 5 h 53 m | Show
So far so good for the Warriors without the best player in the league, Stephen Curry. The Warriors had little problems with Houston after Curry went down. Even without Curry, the Warriors outscored Houston by 60 points with their star on the bench. Curry could even return in this series, possibly as early as game two. Portland got new life in their series with the Clippers when LA lost both its top two players, Chris Paul and Blake Griffin. The Blazers only had one day off to prepare for the Warriors, which won't be good for rest. This should be a fast paced series, as the winning team this year has scored at least 128 points. With the short turnaround here for the Blazers I look for them to come out flat in game one. Take Golden State. |
