Green Bay continues to be conservative on offense (#29 in yards, #29 passing) despite having QB Aaron Rodgers. The Giants match up well and are 4-0 ATS against Green Bay. Play the NY Giants. |

09-04-16 | Notre Dame v. Texas +3.5 | 47-50 | Win | 100 | 145 h 12 m | Show
A huge revenge game for a Texas team with plenty to prove off a disappointing campaign. The Fighting Irish are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games on fieldturf. Texas has revamped the offense and the defense is loaded with talent, bouncing back after an uneven campaign. When they got up to play the unstoppable Oklahoma offense last year they played great, winning 24-17 as a big dog. It's a revenge game as Notre Dame won 38-3 at home last season, shutting down the Longhorns. Texas had 103 yards passing (8-of-23), and just 60 yards rushing, 2.1 ypc. "We just gave him too much time to throw," Charlie Strong said, which means he will blitz more in the rematch. Play Texas. |

09-03-16 | LSU v. Wisconsin +10 | 14-16 | Win | 100 | 117 h 17 m | Show
A pair of powerhouse programs clash, both with defenses far better than the offenses. A road trip for LSU to open the season, heading to Lambeau Field and the wild Wisconsin fans. LSU has a fierce defense but a one-dimensional offense than can't pass. They run into a strong Wisconsin defensive front that was No. 1 in college football in points allowed last season. Coming off a 10-win campaign of a season ago, which included a bowl victory over USC, Wisconsin returns 11 starters. Five starters are back on offense, anchored by three along the offensive line, and that doesn't include running back Corey Clement, who missed most of last season to injuries. Six starters are back from a defense that limited opponents to just 269 yards and 14 points per game last year. Wisconsin is going with senior Bart Houston. He was a backup to Joel Stave the last few seasons, and appeared in 15 games overall. Houston's most extensive action came last season on Oct. 24 in a 24-13 win at Ilinois, when he went 22 of 32 for 232 yards with two touchdowns. The Badgers won five times outright in their last 11 spots as underdogs, going 8-3 against the spread in the process. This will be a close defensive duel so grab the home dog with the dominant D. Play Wisconsin. |

08-31-16 | Twins v. Indians -1.5 | 4-8 | Win | 100 | 9 h 1 m | Show
The Twins are on a 7-19 run, 6-20 in their last 26 games vs. a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15. Indians starter Corey Kluber (14-8, 3.07 ERA) is 4-0 with a 2.20 ERA in five starts in August for Cleveland, which remains 4 1/2 games in front of the Detroit Tigers atop the AL Central. Cleveland has plenty of offensive punch, especially at home, and they face struggling Twins lefty Pat Dean (1-4, 6.24 ERA). Dean was hit hard early and often in a loss in Toronto, getting shelled for six runs on eight hits while coughing up a pair of homers in a three-inning stint. It was Dean's fourth appearance since his recall from the minors, with the first three coming out of the bullpen. The Indians are on a 38-18 run at home, 20-6 at home against a left-handed starter. Play Cleveland. |

08-29-16 | Nationals -1.5 v. Phillies | 4-0 | Win | 100 | 8 h 23 m | Show
The Nationals are 38-17 vs. the National League East. Nationals starter Tanner Roark (13-7, 2.99 ERA) is 6-2 on the road and has limited left-handed hitters to a .211 average in 2016. Roark is 2-0 with a 0.86 ERA in three starts against the Phillies this season and is two away from his career high of 15 wins in 2014 for Washington, which leads the NL East by eight games. The Nationals are 13-3 in his starts, 10-1 when he faces a losing team. The Phillies are 16-35 in their last 51 vs. a team with a winning record. Phillies RH Jake Thompson (1-3, 9.78 ERA) Thompson struggled through his first four major league starts, permitting 21 runs in 19 1/3 innings and the Nationals are 8-1 in the last 9 meetings in Philadelphia. Play Washington on the Run-Line. |

08-25-16 | Cowboys v. Seahawks -5.5 | 17-27 | Win | 100 | 11 h 36 m | Show
8/25 07:00 PM  NFL  (253) DALLAS COWBOYS VS (254) SEATTLE SEAHAWKS. Take: (254) SEATTLE SEAHAWKS Reason: Dallas heads out on the road and coach Jason Garrett puts less into preseason games than most coaches, a 7-13 ATS mark. WR Dez Bryant has been ruled out with a concussion. He won't risk fragile Tony Romo much against the dominant Seattle defense. The Seahawks are coming off an 18-11 loss to Minnesota in their second preseason game, but expect to see Russell Wilson and the starters on offense to play into the second half. The Seahawks offensive line has no excuse not to excel this week against a weak Dallas D-line with little pass rush. If there has been a surprise of the preseason in Seattle, it's been the play of their interior offensive line. Mark Glowinski and Germain Ifedi have proven to be powerful, aggressive run blockers and stout pass protectors. Play Seattle. |

08/25 07:05 PM EST  MLB  (913) LOS ANGELES ANGELS VS (914) TORONTO BLUE JAYS. Take: (914) MLB Shadow Shocker of the Year: Play Toronto on the Run-Line. LA is a long way from home and has struggling Jered Weaver (8-11, 5.47 ERA) going. The Angels are 19-49 in their last 68 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The Blue Jays are dynamite on offense and 55-26 vs. a right-handed starter, plus 23-9 in their last 32 games following a loss. Blue Jays lefty J.A. Happ (17-3, 3.05 ERA) is having a monster season and the Blue Jays are 21-5 in Happ's last 26 starts. Play Toronto on the Run-Line.  Submit |
