This week five matchup will be a crucial one between the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Ravens have started to struggle since their great start and the Steelers are looking to find an identity with Mason Rudolph under center.
Not to mention these teams are AFC North rivals, so this is sure to be an entertaining contest.
Baltimore Ravens
After a 2-0 start, the Ravens were the talking point of the NFL. People started over hyping them big time and now it is clear that they might not be as good as we thought.

They are coming off back to back losses, including a 40-25 loss to the Cleveland Browns this past week.
The loss to Cleveland was big because it was a division game. They cannot afford to fall to 0-2 in the AFC North, which makes this a game that they need to win.
Statistically, the Ravens are by far the best offense in the NFL. They lead the league in total yards per game (482.5), rushing yards per game (205.8) and points per game (33.8). That said, they were held to just 395 total yards in the game against the Browns.
Lamar Jackson really struggled against the Browns defense, going just 24 of 34 with 247 passing yards. He threw for three touchdowns, but also had two interceptions. So even though Jackson had an MVP start to the season, he has started to come back to Earth once he played teams not named the Dolphins.
The running game was not terrible in this game as they racked up 173 yards, but they were still held in check compared to their other games this season.
The defense has not been anything special this season and rank in the bottom half of the league in most categories. They allowed 395.5 total yards per game (25th), 302 passing yards per game (29th), and 25 points per game (22nd). Their run defense has been the best this season, allowing just 93.5 yards per game (10th).
However, they just allowed 193 rushing yards to the Browns, so some concern is there. Nick Chubb had 165 yards rushing by himself, including an 88 yard touchdown run that more or less put the game away.

The Steelers do not exactly have a prolific offense, but the Ravens must do better stopping the run.
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers are finally in the win column as they torched the Bengals on Monday Night Football 27-3. This game was just what they needed as they are now just one game behind the Browns and Ravens in the AFC North.
The offense racked up 326 yards of total offense. They were led by Mason Rudolph, who threw for 229 yards and two touchdowns.
James Conner was the leading receiver, hauling in 8 targets for 83 yards an one touchdown. He also led the team with 43 rushing yards.
The defense finally looked like the Steelers defense we know. They held the Bengals to 175 total yards. Andy Dalton threw for 171 yards, but was also sacked 8 times for 69 yards. The Bengals ran the ball 19 times for a total of 73 yards.
They also forced two turnovers and held the Bengals to 0 of 3 in the red zone. They also held the Bengals to 4 of 14 on third downs. This is promising going forward to take on the Ravens.
Lamar Jackson will certainly be able to put up more yardage than Andy Dalton, so it will just be about forcing mistakes and containing him as much as possible.
NFL Betting Trends:

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: OVER 42.5
Pittsburgh got their offense going against the Bengals and I could see the same happening against the Ravens. Baltimore’s defense has not been great the past two weeks, so I see a ton of points being scored in this game.
My pick for this game would be the over because it is still the Ravens and they can put up a ton of points on any given day.
NFL Free Week 5 Score Prediction: Baltimore 27 – Pittsburgh 24

Matthew ?? Lamar Jackson really struggled going “just” 24 of 34 ??? Granted that he struggled at times/didn’t have a great game — but only going 24 – 34 ??? In my head & last I checked that is InDeed OVER 70 % PERCENT.
