Two teams desperate for a win in hopes of keeping their playoff hopes rolling get set to battle it out on Sunday.
Both the Saints and Redskins are realistically looking at Wild Card potential only as they sit under .500.
New Orleans comes off a back breaking loss last Sunday to the Titans as they fell 34-28.
As for the Redskins, they became just another victim for the Patriots as they took one to the chin 27-10.
The Redskins problems finding the end zone continued on Sunday as they managed just 10 points in a 27-10 loss to New England.
Washington is among the worst in the NFL in terms of scoring as they’re averaging just 19.8 points per game. Washington, who averages 329 yards per game, had just 15 yards in the first quarter and let New England pull away early.
QB Kirk Cousins finished with just 217 total yards and his only touchdown came to TE Jordan Reed, who continues to be his main target every week. Cousins will have a chance to really bounce back as he goes up against a defense that allows 414.8 yards against per game.
With that being the case, RB Alfred Morris needs to get himself going too. Morris has struggled throughout the entire season. He has just 302 yards on the year, but has held on to the #1 spot on the depth chart as Washington just doesn’t have any better options.
Washington has had some solid success against the Saints head-to-head as they are 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings.
The Saints had put together a 3 game winning streak and had gotten themselves back to .500 as it looked like Drew Brees had turned things around. However, a 34-28 setback to the Titans has put the pressure back on New Orleans as they must figure out a way to grab a road win this week.
The loss will be a tough one to swallow as they blew a 21 point lead as Drew Brees tossed for 387 yards and 3 touchdowns.
The offensive line really let him down on occasions though, especially late in the game, as Brees was sacked 4 times.
Brees and the Saints offense, who average 26.8 points per game, have to feel good heading into this week against a weak Washington defense. The Skins are allowing 372.9 yards against along with 24.4 points against.
RB Mark Ingram continues to flourish in the #1 role at tailback as he has compiled 530 yards on the season. Like Ingram, WR Willie Snead continues to dominate in his role as he has 531 yards receiving along with 3 touchdowns.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Over
Both defenses are just very sub par here. New Orleans allowed the Titans to move all over them last week and the Redskins have allowed just about every one to do the same. Expect both offenses to move the ball with ease here, with a lot of points being tallied.
