Reigning MVP James Harden has ignited the surge with eight straight 30-point outings, including four efforts of more than 40. The superstar is averaging 40.5 points during the eight-game stretch after pouring in 45 points in Thursday's 127-113 win over the visiting Boston Celtics and proclaimed afterward that he should again be part of the MVP chatter. Utah is holding its own against some of the best teams in the West with wins over Portland (twice) and Golden State in the last four games and is crediting an increase in focus. The clincher:Â Philadelphia is 5-14 ATS in their last 19 road games. |
12-26-18 | Pelicans v. Mavs -2.5 | 119-122 | Win | 100 | 10 h 59 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Dallas Mavericks are suffering through the NBA's longest current losing streak at six straight while struggling on the road and on the defensive end. The Mavericks are a much better team at home and will try to snap the slide when they host the opener of a home-and-home set against the similarly struggling New Orleans Pelicans.  The Pelicans are in the midst of their own tough road trip and fell at Milwaukee, the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings in the first three stops of a four-game trip. The clinchers: New Orleans is 5-11 ATS in their last 16 road games while Dallas is 10-2 ATS in their last 12 home games. |

Rating: 2 Units A young team that has seen its roster turn over dramatically since last season is bound to have some issues, but coach Larry Drew wants to see his team power through the tough times with a little more resolve. Larry Nance Jr. was a bright spot in Sunday's loss with 20 points and six rebounds, and the 25-year-old forward is averaging 15.3 points and 12.3 rebounds over a four-game stretch. The clinchers: Cleveland is 9-3 ATS in the last 12 meetings in Memphis and 16-6 ATS in the last 22 meetings overall. |

The Nets saw their seven-game winning streak come to an end with a loss to Indiana in the opener of a three-game homestand Friday, but recovered to top Phoenix 111-103 two nights later. The Warriors will try to get the better of James for the second straight time on Christmas when they host the Los Angeles Lakers. Golden State faced James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the last four NBA Finals but will be seeing him for the first time in a Lakers uniform during the regular season. James and Los Angeles dropped four of their last six and are coming off a 107-99 loss to Memphis as they try to build a team that can compete with the Warriors in the West. |
12-25-18 | 76ers v. Celtics -4 | 114-121 | Win | 100 | 24 h 34 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Philadelphia 76ers continue to dominate on their home floor while sometimes struggling for success on the road, a trend that began with an 18-point loss at Boston to begin the season. Philadelphia improved to an NBA-best 16-3 at home by routing Eastern Conference-leading Toronto 126-101 on Saturday, but they carry a 6-9 road mark into the opener of a challenging five-game road trip. The clincher:Â Boston is 24-8 ATS in their last 32 home games. |

Rookie small forward Luka Doncic scored 19 points in the loss and is averaging 25.5 over his last four contests, but Dallas has dropped five straight to fall one game below .500. The clincher: Portland is 28-11 ATS in their last 39 home games. |
12-23-18 | Pelicans v. Kings +1 | 117-122 | Win | 100 | 8 h 31 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The last time the New Orleans Pelicans met the Sacramento Kings they were in the midst of a 4-0 start and putting up points at a record pace. A very different Pelicans team struggling through a 5-11 stretch enters Sacramento for a rematch with the up-and-coming Kings. New Orleans scored a franchise-record 149 points in a 20-point win over the Kings on Oct. 19, but it is now sinking toward the bottom of the Western Conference and lost its third straight Friday night at Los Angeles with a 112-104 setback against the Lakers. The clincher: Sacramento is 25-10 ATS in their last 35 games playing on 1 days rest. |
12-23-18 | Wizards v. Pacers -9.5 | 89-105 | Win | 100 | 7 h 35 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Indiana gets the benefit on Sunday of playing against a Wizards squad traveling for a back-to-back after fighting through three overtimes to earn a 149-146 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Saturday. The clinchers: Dallas is 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous game. |
12-22-18 | Bucks v. Heat +3 | 87-94 | Win | 100 | 12 h 49 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Miami Heat are enjoying their longest winning streak of the season at three in a row as their defense has rounded into shape. That trend will be tested Saturday night when the Milwaukee Bucks -- the league's top scoring team, fresh off another resounding win of their own -- pay a visit. The Heat have allowed 99 points or fewer in each of the consecutive victories against Memphis, New Orleans and Houston, the last of which began a stretch in which Miami plays nine of 12 at home. The Clincher: Miami is 11-5 ATS in their last 16 vs. NBA Central. |
12-22-18 | Raptors +6.5 v. 76ers | 101-126 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 25 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Toronto Raptors aim to defeat Philadelphia for the third straight time this season when they visit the 76ers today. Toronto, which owns the best record in the NBA, won the first two matchups by an average of 14 points and this matchup is the first of the season in Philadelphia. Star forward Kawhi Leonard matched his season high of 37 points on 12-of-16 shooting as the Raptors posted a 126-110 home win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday. The clincher:Â Toronto is 36-16 ATS in their last 52 vs. NBA Atlantic. |
12-21-18 | Grizzlies v. Kings -2 | 99-102 | Win | 100 | 10 h 48 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Grizzlies are losers of four straight and six of the last seven games and failed to reach 100 points in any of those seven contests. The Clinchers: Kings are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points while Memphis is 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games playing on 1 days rest. |
12-21-18 | Wolves v. Spurs -4 | 98-124 | Win | 100 | 8 h 22 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The San Antonio Spurs look to stretch their home winning streak against Minnesota to 11 games when they entertain the Timberwolves today. San Antonio improved to 50-9 all-time at home against Minnesota with a 112-108 win on Oct. 17. The Timberwolves haven't won in San Antonio since posting a 108-95 victory on April 17, 2013 in the regular-season finale when Rick Adelman was coach. |
12-21-18 | Pacers v. Nets +3 | 114-106 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 25 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Indiana Pacers are suddenly having some trouble scoring points and dropped their last two games following a seven-game winning streak. The Pacers will try to bounce back when they close out a two-game road trip by visiting the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets are winners of seven in a row and pulled out a 96-93 win at Chicago on Wednesday on the second night of a back-to-back after knocking off the Los Angeles Lakers at home. |
12-21-18 | Hawks v. Knicks -3 | 114-107 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 13 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The highlights have been few and far between for the Atlanta Hawks, but the rebuilding team heads to New York for a Friday matchup with the Knicks after perhaps their best performance of the season. Atlanta led by 11 points after one quarter and held off a late Washington rally on Tuesday for a 118-110 home victory, just the seventh time in 30 games the Hawks have walked off the court winners. The clincher:Â Atlanta is 3-13 ATS in their last 16 vs. NBA Atlantic. |
12-18-18 | Wizards v. Hawks +3 | 110-118 | Win | 100 | 8 h 38 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Washington is just 6-17 ATS when coming off a victory of 15 or more points, when it'd been listed as a home underdog. With an O/U line in the mid 230s, the Wizards are only 1-6 ATS the past seven times that they played a road game with an O/U line of 230 or greater. The Hawks, who have dropped three straight, know that this is their final home game before Christmas. Note that they're 4-1Â ATS after giving up 230 or more. Playing with revenge from a loss here a couple of weeks ago. |
12-18-18 | Lakers -2.5 v. Nets | 110-115 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 35 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Lakers are 1-2 on their four-game road trip following a 128-110 loss at Washington on Sunday. LeBron James was held to a season-low 13 points and Los Angeles gave up 71 first-half points while falling to 7-8 on the road. However, Los Angeles took both meetings last season, including a 102-99 triumph at Brooklyn on Feb. 2. The clincher:Â The Nets are 9-19 ATS in their last 28 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. |
12-18-18 | Cavs v. Pacers -12 | 92-91 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 11 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The red-hot Indiana Pacers seek to extend their season-long winning streak to eight games when they host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday. The Pacers have won five games by double digits during the stretch, including Sunday's 110-99 victory over the New York Knicks. The clincher:Â Cleveland is 7-24-1 ATS in their last 32 games following a double-digit loss at home. |
12-17-18 | Blazers v. Clippers -2 | 131-127 | Loss | -102 | 12 h 39 m | Show
Rating: 2 Unis Portland is suffering through a six-game road slide and scored a season-low 83 points at Memphis on Wednesday before making the brief stop back in the northwest and lighting up the scoreboard. Los Angeles fell by a total of 62 points in losses to Toronto and San Antonio before battling the Thunder in a 110-104 road loss on Saturday. The Clippers shot 50.7 percent from the floor, including 13-of-25 from 3-point range, and had three players score at least 20 points in the setback. The teams split the first two meetings, with Los Angeles earning a 104-100 victory at Portland in the most recent matchup on Nov. 25. The clincher: Portland is 2-11 ATS in their last 13 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game. |
12-17-18 | Jazz +5.5 v. Rockets | 97-102 | Win | 100 | 9 h 5 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Rockets are trying to overcome some shooting woes on the outside from shooting guard Eric Gordon, who is battling through knee soreness and is 1-of-17 from 3-point range over the last three games. Gordon was held to a season-low four points on 2-of-11 shooting in 31 minutes during Saturday's victory. Utah took each of the first two meetings this season, including a 100-89 win at Houston on Oct. 24 and is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 vs. NBA Southwest. |
12-17-18 | Kings v. Wolves -7.5 | 105-132 | Win | 100 | 9 h 36 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Minnesota Timberwolves could not salvage anything from their four-game road trip but hope to turn around their fortunes when they return home today for a match up against the Sacramento Kings. The Timberwolves dropped a 107-99 decision at league-worst Phoenix on Saturday to end a trek during which they allowed an average of 119.3 points, but they have been tough to beat at home (11-4) this season. The clinchers: Minnesota is 6-0 ATS in their last 6 when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games playing on 1 days rest. |
12-17-18 | Suns v. Knicks -1.5 | 128-110 | Loss | -109 | 9 h 31 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The New York Knicks finished their three-game road trip with a loss but hope to take some positives into a rare home game on Monday against the Phoenix Suns. Two nights after posting a dramatic comeback win in Charlotte, the Knicks played Indiana tough until the very end of Sunday's 110-99 loss and completed the trek with a 1-2 record. New York fell to 5-13 away from home, and its 18 road games are the most in the Eastern Conference - with a visit to Philadelphia on tap for Wednesday and a six-game trip beginning just after Christmas. The clincher:Â Phoenix is 7-20 ATS in their last 27 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game. |
12-16-18 | Raptors v. Nuggets +3 | 86-95 | Win | 102 | 9 h 27 m | Show
Rating:Â 2 Units Toronto, which sits atop the Eastern Conference and owns the best record in the NBA at 23-8, breezed by the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors on the first two stops of the trip before falling at the Trail Blazers 128-122 on Friday. Star forward Kawhi Leonard, who sat out the first two games of the trip with a hip injury, returned to the lineup at Portland but All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry (thigh) missed the game and is day-to-day. The Nuggets are the improbable leaders of a tightly-packed Western Conference and are winners of five straight at home after knocking off Memphis and Oklahoma City to begin the current four-game stand. |
12-16-18 | Heat v. Pelicans -6.5 | 102-96 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 29 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The New Orleans Pelicans haven't managed to get a winning streak off the ground in nearly a month but could change that with a victory over the visiting Miami Heat today. The Pelicans, who traded wins and losses over the last 10 games, have not won back-to-back games since a three-game streak from Nov. 16-19. The clincher:Â Miami is 5-11-1 ATS in the last 17 meetings in New Orleans. |
12-16-18 | Lakers -2.5 v. Wizards | 110-128 | Loss | -109 | 8 h 34 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Los Angeles Lakers are soaring toward the top of the Western Conference and look to build off another runaway win when they visit the new-look Washington Wizards today. LeBron James and Lonzo Ball both recorded triple-doubles for the Lakers in Friday's 128-100 rout of Charlotte as Los Angeles won for the seventh time in nine games, with three of the victories coming by at least 23 points. The Wizards are coming off a tumultuous couple of days, first seeing a proposed three-team deal fall apart after Friday's 125-118 loss at Brooklyn and then working out a trade with Phoenix the following day. |
12-16-18 | 76ers -8 v. Cavs | 128-105 | Win | 100 | 5 h 53 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The 76ers leaned on center Joel Embiid the last two games in Butler's absence but even 40 points and 21 rebounds from the All-Star on Friday were not enough to put the team in the win column. The Cavaliers got off to a solid start on their three-game homestand with a 113-106 victory over the New York Knicks on Wednesday but could not contain Giannis Antetokounmpo on Friday and ended up falling to the Milwaukee Bucks 114-102. The clinchers: Cleveland is 16-35 ATS in their last 51 home games vs. a team with a losing road record, 7-23 ATS in their last 30 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400, and 7-23-1 ATS in their last 31 games following a double-digit loss at home. |
12-15-18 | Wolves v. Suns +7.5 | 99-107 | Win | 100 | 3 h 54 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Minnesota Timberwolves aren't having much luck on their road trip, especially on the defensive end. The Timberwolves will try to end the four-game trip on a high note when they visit the Phoenix Suns today. Minnesota allowed an average of 123.3 points over the first three games of its road trip, capped by a 141-130 setback at the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday. |
12-15-18 | Bulls v. Spurs -10 | 98-93 | Loss | -112 | 2 h 28 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The San Antonio Spurs are playing like the great teams of their recent past during a six-game home stand and are coming off one of their most impressive wins after blowing past the Los Angeles Clippers 125-87 on Thursday. The Spurs will try to make it five straight victories when they host the Chicago Bulls today. The Bulls averaged 85.7 points in their last three games - all losses - and fell short in the final minutes of a 97-91 loss to the Orlando Magic in Mexico City on Thursday. |
12-14-18 | Wizards v. Nets -1.5 | 118-125 | Win | 100 | 8 h 5 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Brooklyn Nets are turning some heads with their play of late, which includes a pair of wins over Eastern Conference contenders during a three-game streak. The Nets will try to push it to four in a row on today when they host the slumping Washington Wizards, who dropped their last three games. Brooklyn sandwiched a win over New York around victories over Toronto and Philadelphia, outlasting the 76ers 127-124 on the road Wednesday to keep the winning streak alive. The Wizards dropped the final two on a four-game road trip before coming home on Wednesday and suffering a 130-125 overtime loss to the Boston Celtics. |
12-12-18 | Thunder -2 v. Pelicans | 114-118 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 58 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Oklahoma City Thunder own the best winning percentage in the Western Conference after recovering from a 0-4 start. The Thunder look to post their 18th win in the past 22 games when they visit the New Orleans Pelicans today. Oklahoma City star point guard Russell Westbrook has only been the second-best player on his own team thus far as small forward Paul George has been superb, the latest example being a 31-point outing in a 122-113 win over the Utah Jazz on Monday despite having just 10 field-goal attempts. |
12-12-18 | Blazers v. Grizzlies OVER 200.5 | 83-92 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 60 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Grizzlies are known as a defensive team. While that's mostly true, they've still allowed nine of their last 10 opponents to reach triple-digits in scoring. The last time that the Blazers played the second of back to back games, they allowed 143 points. The last two meetings between these teams have both produced 211 combined points. |
12-09-18 | Jazz v. Spurs +4 | 97-110 | Win | 100 | 1 h 13 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The San Antonio Spurs are getting chances to avenge some of their most recent losses, and the Utah Jazz are next up on the revenge list. The Spurs, who host the Jazz today, were ripped 139-105 at Utah on Tuesday and followed that up with a loss at the Los Angeles Lakers the next night before bouncing back with a win at home over the Lakers on Friday. San Antonio shot 50.5 percent from the floor and placed eight scorers in double figures in Friday's 133-120 triumph. |
12-09-18 | Bucks +5.5 v. Raptors | 104-99 | Win | 100 | 7 h 56 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Raptors are coming off a poor performance after shooting 39.3 percent in a 106-105 overtime loss at the Brooklyn Nets on Friday. Toronto dropped two of its last three games following an eight-game winning streak and suffered its first loss of the season 124-109 at Milwaukee on Oct. 29. Milwaukee pulled off a 122-119 overtime victory in its last trip to Toronto on Feb. 23. |
12-08-18 | Heat v. Clippers -9 | 121-98 | Loss | -102 | 11 h 50 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Clippers had won 12 of their previous 14 games before the poor showing against the Grizzlies in which leading scorer Tobias Harris (21 points per game) scored just seven points on 2-of-13 shooting. Miami opened its six-game road trip with a 115-98 victory over Phoenix only its fifth win in 14 contests. Bam Adebayo scored a career-high 22 points and Justise Winslow was 4-for-4 from 3-point range while recording a season-best 20 points. |
12-08-18 | Wolves v. Blazers -2 | 105-113 | Win | 100 | 10 h 14 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Portland got a big boost on Thursday from reserve forward Jake Layman, who did not play in the previous five games but found his way off the bench and scored a career-high 24 points, including 15 in the first quarter. Layman's hot start propelled the Trail Blazers to a 34-9 lead after the first 12 minutes. The home team took the last nine in the series, with each earning a win already in 2018-19. |
12-08-18 | Kings v. Pacers -4 | 97-107 | Win | 100 | 7 h 11 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Indiana Pacers will try to avenge their most recent loss when they open up a three-game home stand against the Sacramento Kings today. The Kings sent the Pacers to a 111-110 loss in the finale of Indiana's recent four-game road trip, riding a balanced attack and a late put back by Willie Cauley-Stein to the triumph. The Pacers and their league-leading scoring defense have done well to recover by topping Chicago 96-90 at home before picking up a convincing 112-90 victory at Orlando on Friday, despite playing shorthanded. |
12-05-18 | Hornets +5 v. Wolves | 104-121 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 31 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Charlotte star Kemba Walker is struggling of late and is averaging 19.2 points on 34.5 percent shooting over the last five games, including a 5-of-16 effort in Sunday's 119-109 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. Picking up some of the slack is power forward Frank Kaminsky, who followed up a scoreless effort in Friday's loss to Utah with 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting on Sunday. Kaminsky could see extended minutes on today with fellow power forward Marvin Williams expected to miss at least the next few games with a shoulder injury. |
12-05-18 | Pistons v. Bucks -8.5 | 92-115 | Win | 100 | 9 h 28 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo had 33 points and 19 rebounds in the loss to New York and topped 30 in five of the past six games while recording eight straight double-doubles. He was less than thrilled with the setback against the lowly Knicks but thinks his team - which has won more than twice as many games as it has lost - can vastly improve. |
11-28-18 | Bulls +14.5 v. Bucks | 113-116 | Win | 100 | 7 h 47 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Milwaukee Bucks don't lose often, and it's become a surprise when they don't go off for 120 or more points. The Bucks, who lead the NBA in scoring at an average of 121 points, will try to avoid dropping back-to-back games for the first time this season when they host the Chicago Bulls. |
11-28-18 | Cavs v. Thunder -12.5 | 83-100 | Win | 100 | 7 h 44 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Oklahoma City Thunder are winners of 12 of their last 15 games but remain unsatisfied with their individual performances. Thunder star Russell Westbrook will find out if some extra work on his shot paid off when the Thunder host the Cleveland Cavaliers. |
11-28-18 | Wizards v. Pelicans -5.5 | Top | 104-125 | Win | 100 | 7 h 41 m | Show |
Rating: 3 Unit NBA Play of the Day Washington is a poor 2-7 SU & ATS on the road, allowing 122.0 PPG. New Orleans ranks second in the NBA in scoring (118.2 PPG) and its loss to the Celtics was just the team's second at home in 10 games this season, the first in which All-Star forward Anthony Davis (27.0 & 12.8) played. The Pelicans are averaging 122.0 PPG at home this season and tonight, revenge works! |
11-28-18 | Knicks +12.5 v. 76ers | 91-117 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 49 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Knicks had their three-game winning streak snapped when they suffered a 115-108 road loss against the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday. New York shooting guard Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 19 points in the setback. Undrafted rookie guard Allonzo Trier had a superb outing against Detroit with 24 points to go along with season bests of 10 rebounds and seven assists. Trier has scored in double digits in three straight games - including a season-high 25 against the New Orleans Pelicans last Friday . |
11-27-18 | Lakers v. Nuggets -3.5 | 85-117 | Win | 100 | 7 h 55 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Denver Nuggets pulled themselves out of a funk and are rolling along again with wins in three straight. The Nuggets will try to make it four in a row on Tuesday when they host a Los Angeles Lakers squad making a brief stop on the road before an extended home stretch. Denver struggled through a stretch of six losses in seven games but picked up the defensive intensity over the last three contests, capped by a 105-98 victory at Oklahoma City on Saturday in which it held the Thunder to 35.9 percent shooting. |
11-27-18 | Raptors -5.5 v. Grizzlies | 122-114 | Win | 100 | 6 h 58 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Memphis is a club that needs things to go their way almost every night since they are 30th in scoring. Sure, they have two legit stars in Marc Gasol and Mike Conley but Kyle Lowry matches up just fine with Conley. And Toronto can throw both Jonas Valanciunas and Serge Ibaka at Gasol. The Raptors have been rolling along as they have won five in a row and only one game, against Orlando, was close. In the win over Miami on Sunday, three guys posted double/doubles and they got 42 from the bench contingent. |
11-27-18 | Knicks v. Pistons -7.5 | 108-115 | Loss | -105 | 5 h 60 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Knicks have won three straight. Whoopee-doo. They’d lost eight of nine, and six in a row, before that. They’ve been attacking the basket well in this stretch, but Detroit head coach Dwayne Casey sees that, and is quite familiar with the Knicks from having coached Toronto, and has a couple o’ good rim protectors named Drummond and Griffin who can help put a stop to this nonsense |
11-26-18 | Magic v. Warriors -8 | 110-116 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 8 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Orlando has been up and down. The Magic were in LaLa Land on Sunday and by controlling the middle quarters, they got the win when the bench came up big. Golden State hosted the Kings Saturday, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant combining for 75 points and Thompson tipped in the game winner. The Warriors would love to get this game with a 5-game trip on the horizon, book ended by Toronto and Milwaukee. Jordan Bell has earned some minutes and he does a little bit of everything when he is in the game. Quinn Cook has done a nice job in the absence of Steph Curry and when Coach Kerr brings in Shawn Livingston he gets a big guard that can post up small forwards |
11-25-18 | Clippers v. Blazers -4.5 | 104-100 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 22 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The offense has been there for the Clips but they are in the bottom third in allowing points. Portland players figure to show some heart here. They were beaten by a total of 71 points in the last 2 games. When the beat the Clips early this month they owned the boards and the starting Clippers guard were outscored by 27 points. |
11-25-18 | Jazz v. Kings +3 | 133-112 | Loss | -102 | 6 h 18 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Jazz's struggles continued Friday with a 90-83 loss to the Lakers. They've lost three in a row now and five of the last six. The only one out of the six that was at home was the loss to Sacramento. While Sacramento is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 home games, 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games playing on 0 days rest, and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games following a straight up loss. |
11-25-18 | Heat v. Raptors -12 | 115-125 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 38 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Miami is coming off a win but it was against Chicago. They got great production from the center position as Hassan Whiteside and Bam Adebayo combined for 32 and 23 boards. That will be hard to duplicate against the Canadians as Coach Nurse has been experimenting with Serge Ibaka and Jonas Valanciunas in the middle and both of those players will give the Miami big men trouble. The Raptors are coming off a successful trip. They lost the first game on the journey in overtime to Boston but reeled off 4 in a row, the last on Friday in D.C. One of the best things Toronto has going for them is the balanced attack. They are 7th in allowing points and only three clubs opened the season scoring more points a night. |
11-25-18 | Knicks v. Grizzlies -8 | 103-98 | Loss | -103 | 8 h 35 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Knicks shocked New Orleans on Friday but they were fortunate. Anthony Davis, who ended up with 33, didn’t enter the last quarter until there was just 3 minutes and change left. He reportedly had a groin and he more than likely would have made a difference if he played the entire last stanza. Memphis played too good to lose Friday. |
11-24-18 | Bulls v. Wolves -10.5 | 96-111 | Win | 100 | 9 h 15 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Chicago started the season as the 4th worst scoring team and they are 25th in rebounding. Defense is about desire and the Bulls are in the bottom third in the league in allowing points. One of the best things about Minnesota is that they are aggressive. They are in the top 10 in getting to the free-throw line and they are 4th in free-throw percentage. Teams can’t cheat on the Wolves either since they started the season hitting at 37% from distance, 4th in the league. As promising a career that Wendall Carter Jr. may have for the Bulls, he will have his plate full guarding Karl-Anthony Towns because the Minnesota center can stretch the floor. The Wolves hosted Brooklyn on Friday and in that game Towns dominated in the 10-point win. |
11-24-18 | Pelicans v. Wizards -1.5 | 114-124 | Win | 100 | 2 h 42 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Washington swept last season's two-game series and owns a five-game winning streak against New Orleans entering the first of two match ups in a five-day stretch. The Pelicans are a meager 2-8 on the road after blowing a nine-point, fourth-quarter advantage against the lowly New York Knicks on Friday and eventually succumbing 114-109. |
11-23-18 | Magic +7.5 v. Nuggets | 87-112 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 19 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Nuggets have dropped three of their last four at home after winning the first six and will be tested against a dangerous offensive team in Orlando, which scored at least 130 points in two wins before suffering a 93-91 loss to Toronto on Tuesday. The Magic have won seven of their last 10 games overall after a disappointing start and center Nikola Vucevic has played a big part, averaging a team-high 20 points overall - 27 over the last four contests. |
11-23-18 | Hornets v. Thunder -6 | 104-109 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 22 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Charlotte will need to execute at its best against the Thunder, who are winners of 11 of their last 13 and dominated the defending champion Golden State Warriors in a 123-95 road win on Wednesday. ust as Walker can turn from scorer to facilitator for the Hornets, so can Westbrook for Oklahoma City. The former MVP managed 11 points on 5-of-15 shooting Wednesday but handed out 13 assists and was pleased with his performance. |
11-23-18 | Wizards v. Raptors -10.5 | 107-125 | Win | 100 | 9 h 55 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units It’s getting messy in D.C. and never mind the White House. There have been reports of in-fighting at Washington practices and John Wall was fined. The Wizards got a bit of a break on Wednesday against the Clips when former Washington center Marcin Gortat came out swinging, had 5 fouls in his 15 minutes on the floor. Washington still had to win the last quarter by 16 to prevail by 7. The Raptors flew with the Hawks Wednesday and several Toronto players excelled including Kyle Lowry, who recorded a triple/double. Despite playing in the second of a back-to-back game the Raptors beat this club early in the season. Kawhi Leonard didn’t even play but Serge Ibaka and Jonas Valanciunas combined for 32 and 16 boards |
11-21-18 | Thunder v. Warriors -1 | 123-95 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 1 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Golden State is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 home games and 46-22-3 ATS in their last 71 Wednesday games. While Oklahoma City is 3-9 ATS in the last 12 meetings and 3-10 ATS in the last 13 meetings in Golden State. |
11-21-18 | Nets +5.5 v. Mavs | 113-119 | Loss | -102 | 8 h 4 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Brooklyn is 0-2 ATS in their last 12 games following a straight up win of more than 10 points, 16-6 ATS in their last 22 road games, and 11-5 ATS in their last 16 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. In addition, Brooklyn is 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Dallas, and 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings. While the Underdog is 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings and the road (Brooklyn) team is 10-3 ATS in the last 13 meetings. |
11-21-18 | Pistons +9.5 v. Rockets | 124-126 | Win | 100 | 8 h 39 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Detroit is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. Western Conference, 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Wednesday games, and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. While Houston is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game, 5-15-1 ATS in their last 21 games after scoring more than 125 points in their previous game, and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games playing on 3 or more days rest. |
11-21-18 | Lakers -9.5 v. Cavs | 109-105 | Loss | -103 | 7 h 27 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Cleveland was in Motown on Monday and they lost by 11 despite the furious last quarter. The boo-birds figure to be out dissing LeBron’s name but that should not bother the Lakers all that much. Cleveland has just been horrible. Their first win came against Atlanta. The other win came against Charlotte when Kemba Walker was 2 for 16. Cleveland doesn’t share either. They opened the season 29th in assists and they only had 16 on Monday. Rajon Rondo has been gone and it has put some pressure on Lonzo Ball but LeBron has the rock in his hands most of the time anyway. After a sluggish start L.A. won 7 of 9 and rest should be no problem here as Lakers have not suited up since beating Miami on Sunday. After LeBron’s 29 a night, 8 players are averaging between 8 and 17 points. |
11-21-18 | Pacers v. Hornets -4 | 109-127 | Win | 100 | 2 h 31 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Charlotte is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game, 7-3 ATS in their last 10 vs. Eastern Conference, and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game. While the home team is 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings and Indiana 5-11-1 ATS in the last 17 meetings. |
11-19-18 | Nuggets +5.5 v. Bucks | Top | 98-104 | Loss | -104 | 8 h 0 m | Show |
Rating: 3 Unit NBA Play of the Day Look for Denver to try to get shooters in the corner open vs. the Bucks. Milwaukee is in the bottom half of the league in defending the 3-point line. Denver was in a bit of a funk and then they beat the Hawks before this trip started. When they lost to the Bucks 8 nights ago, Gary Harris had an off game going just 5 for 14. That was a mirage. Harris shot 50% from the floor and 49% from the field last season. They were in the Big Easy on Saturday and in that game Denver had one bad 12-minute stretch and it cost them. The Nuggets figure to be sky high to beat the hot Bucks and this season they have already knocked off the champs and Boston and the 10-5 Clippers. |
11-18-18 | Lakers +1.5 v. Heat | 113-97 | Win | 100 | 7 h 27 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Miami has been hard to figure out so far. They are hovering around mid pack in scoring and allowing points but they have been careless. They are 27th in turning over the ball. When L.A. goes to the bench, they bring in seasoned players and that can cut down on turnovers for the second unit. The Lakers were in Orlando on Saturday and in that game the bench held up their end but Lonzo Ball never delivered. He figures to be motivated here. |
11-18-18 | Grizzlies v. Wolves -5 | 100-87 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 60 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Memphis has played well of late but they also have been lucky in close games. In three of their last 4 wins, the winning margin has been 11 points combined and one game went into overtime. Marc Gasol may also have to chase Karl-Anthony Towns on the perimeter and that should open up the lane. Memphis is dead last in rebounding. Minnesota seems to have bonded a bit without Jimmy Butler. They are getting good play from the point position as Jeff Teague and Derrick Rose combined for 30, 13 dimes and 9 boards in the easy win over Portland on Friday. Robert Covington is a fine long-range shooter and when Coach Thibodeau brings in Dario Saric, he gets a defender that bangs. |
11-17-18 | Warriors -3 v. Mavs | 109-112 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 44 m | Show
Rating: 3 Unit NBA Play of the Day This is not a good match-up for Dallas. Sure, the Texans have been surprisingly good but they are 27th in defensive 3-point field goal percentage. The Warriors are Number 1 in that category. The champs will not take this team lightly. Golden State was humbled by Houston on Thursday but no starter played more than 30 minutes. They just could not throw it in the ocean as the Warriors were just 4 for 18 from distance. Look for the Warriors to get after the Dallas guards as they only forced 5 turnovers against the Rockets. The Warriors can tire teams too as Coach Kerr plays a lot of guys |
11-17-18 | Raptors -8 v. Bulls | 122-83 | Win | 100 | 8 h 17 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units These are not your father’s Bulls. They started the year horrible off the glass and on the bottom third in the league in allowing points. The Canadians have been a bit banged up but for them, it’s better now than in April. The Raptors don’t beat themselves as they take good shots, they are 2nd in offensive field-goal percentage and they are in the top 10 from the free throw line |
11-17-18 | Jazz v. Celtics -4 | 98-86 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 49 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Jazz can play defense at times but they started the season 24th from beyond the arc. They were in the City of Brotherly Love on Friday and in that game Utah made the mistakes of coming out flat and it cost them the game. The Celts are active and they can discombobulate clubs. They opened the season 2nd in allowing points and they have been the best in guarding the 3-point line. |
11-17-18 | Lakers -4 v. Magic | 117-130 | Loss | -105 | 7 h 22 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Orlando has won three in a row but the last win was against Philly when they were getting used to Jimmy Butler. The other recent wins came against the Wizards and the 4 and 11 Knicks. This is an emotional stretch for LeBron. He has Miami and Cleveland on the horizon and issues will be raised. The Lakers seem to be figuring it out. They have won 4 in a row, 6 of 7 and the loss was in the second of a back-to-back game. Lonzo Ball will have to step up since Rajon Rondo is gone for several weeks but Lance Stephenson should be able to get some valuable minutes and Lance is a game changer. Picking up Tyson Chandler is big for the Lakers. He is a solid defensive compliment to the energized JaVale McGee. |
11-16-18 | Knicks v. Pelicans -10 | Top | 124-129 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 47 m | Show |
Rating: 3 Unit NBA Play of the Day Coach Dave Fizdale is searching for the right combination for the Knicks. He’s been playing a deep bench and that is not always a good thing on a bad team. New York has lost 5 of 6 and the win was against the lowly Hawks. The Pelicans threw in a clinker on Wednesday in Minnesota with just 100 points. They were coming off a big win over Toronto so maybe they read their clippings. They only got 5 points off the bench vs. Minnesota and Anthony Davis had a poor shooting night going 9 for 25. If Nikola Mirotec can’t go with his ankle, Julius Randle should inherit his minutes. |
11-16-18 | Heat +5.5 v. Pacers | 91-99 | Loss | -105 | 1 h 2 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Indiana Pacers are struggling with one win in their last four games but got a rare four-day break to practice and attempt to fix some of the problems. The Pacers will show off the results of that practice when they host the Miami Heat. Miami has a chance to sweep its two-game road trip after snapping a three-game slide with a 120-107 victory at Brooklyn on Wednesday. The Heat, who held a team meeting following a 124-114 home loss to Philadelphia on Monday, were noticeably better on the defensive end, holding the Nets to 40.2 percent shooting. |
11-15-18 | Hawks v. Nuggets -13.5 | 93-138 | Win | 100 | 3 h 2 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units This is not a good trip or stretch for the Hawks. They are in the bottom half of the league in most offensive categories and they are giving up 118 points a night, 29th in the league. Denver can get well here. They need this game like they need to breathe. They hit the road for 3 games after this contest and although they have lost 4 in a row, two losses were just by a bucket. The Nuggets should have a decided edge in the middle as Nikola Jokic is triple threat and Alex Len is basically a banger. Jokic is leading the Denver in assists, rebounds and is tied with Jamal Murray as the top scorer. |
11-14-18 | Spurs -5 v. Suns | 96-116 | Loss | -103 | 10 h 10 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Sure, Devin Booker didn’t play the last time these teams met but the Suns were a bit intimidated. They only shot 39% from the floor. Phoenix has only won twice all season and they just didn’t compete in the loss to OKC on Monday. The Spurs tricked the Suns on Halloween and it was in front of this same Arizona crowd. The Suns had no answer for LaMarcus Aldridge or DeMar DeRozan, who were a combined 20 for 25 from the floor. The Texans come to the Valley with an edge as they started this trip with a loss to the Kings on Monday. |
11-14-18 | 76ers -6 v. Magic | 106-111 | Loss | -102 | 8 h 12 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units This is a kind of a tricky game for the Magic. They have won three of the last 5 but one win was against Cleveland and another was against the struggling Wizards, who got revenge on this club Monday. Orlando just lost the last pair, both on the road, and they were beaten off the boards in the last game. The Sixers got production out of the bench Monday in the game win over Miami. They only had one off quarter and Joel Embiid destroyed Hassan Whiteside. Ben Simmons is the guy that makes this team go as he always seems to be around the ball. It’s doubtful that Jimmy Butler, who if scheduled to make his Philly debut, will have the same issues with this team as he did with the Wolves. He is joining a pair of young players that want to win and they both play very hard. Butler figures to really help this club at crunch time. |
11-13-18 | Hornets -7 v. Cavs | 89-113 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 15 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units It’s hard to see any light with this Cleveland team. One night, Larry Nance Jr. will barely play and then he’ll get 31 minutes. They have refused to defend the 3-point line. They are missing three starters and a couple of other guys didn’t practice on Monday. Ty Lue has to be ecstatic that he got fired. The Hornets have been riding Kemba Walker but that is a pretty good horse to climb aboard. The consistent point is averaging 28 and 6 dimes. Charlotte was in Detroit on Sunday and even though they were coming off a tough overtime loss 48 hours prior, the Hornets won the last three quarters and the game. There was even a Tony Parker sighting. Charlotte started the season 5th in scoring and they have been smothering teams on the perimeter. |
11-12-18 | Spurs -2.5 v. Kings | 99-104 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 57 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Kings have lost 3 of 4 and the win came when the then Minnesota star Jimmy Butler just was 3 for 12 from the floor. They were beaten on the glass Saturday at home against the Lakers and nobody shared. They only had 11 assists all night. The Spurs could have a decent stretch here with Phoenix next before going to Clippers Land. Even though this is a totally different Texan team of year’s past, they still play defense and are holding clubs to 108 a night, 8th in the league. They don’t beat themselves as they are third from downtown and second from the free-throw line. Pau Gasol didn’t make this trip but Davis Bertans stepped in and did a nice job in the last game with 6 points, a couple of boards and 2 blocks in 20 minutes. |
11-11-18 | Hawks +11.5 v. Lakers | 106-107 | Win | 100 | 11 h 32 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Trae Young has been explosive at time for the Hawks but he will have his work cut out for him against the active Lakers guards. The players from LaLa Land have a long way to go to be an elite team. They will not get there until they start playing defense but they started the season taking good shots and hitting at 49% from the floor, 2nd in the league |
11-11-18 | Hornets v. Pistons -2.5 | 113-103 | Loss | -103 | 5 h 35 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Hornets went to sleep in the second quarter vs. Philly on Friday and they lost in OT. Their last two wins were against weaklings Atlanta and Cleveland. The Pistons have been pretty tough at home. They won their first three games in Detroit, lost to Boston when Blake Griffin only had 7 points and they lost in OT to the Heat. They are in the tough half of the league in scoring, they rebound and they defend the perimeter holding clubs to 32% from beyond the arc. |
11-10-18 | Cavs v. Bulls -4.5 | 98-99 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 51 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Life without LeBron has been nightmarish for the Cavaliers and there is no light at the end of the tunnel. On top of that you have Kevin Love talking up his fashion sense and also starting point George Hill is gone for a couple of weeks with a shoulder. The Bulls have not set the world on fire but they catch a banged-up Cleveland squad. Chicago has not played all that bad despite just the 3 wins. They took Denver to overtime on Halloween, lost the next game by a bucket, and then they beat the Knicks in overtime last Monday. |

11-10-18 | 76ers v. Grizzlies -1.5 | 106-112 | Win | 100 | 9 h 48 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units This could be a trap game for Philly. They finally broke through on the road Wednesday in Indy and have two more on the road after this game. They hosted Charlotte on Friday and in that game and although feeling pretty good about themselves, they nearly blew a huge lead and had to go to overtime to win by a point. The Grizzlies are off to a decent start and they had to get better after a disastrous season. Memphis has had time to recoup from holding Denver to 87 in the win on Wednesday and this is a big game with Utah next and then the Greek Freak Giannis Antetokounmpo. Memphis is 6th shooting from distance and they are the best in the lead in allowing points at 101 nightly. Michigan State rookie Jaren Jackson Jr. has stepped in and done a solid job at the 4. |

11-09-18 | Hornets v. 76ers -5.5 | 132-133 | Loss | -115 | 11 h 52 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Charlotte has won three of the last 4 but two wins came against the Hawks and Cleveland. The key to containing Charlotte is to pressure Kemba Walker and make him a passer. Charlotte center Cody Zeller was just over matched by Joel Embiid the last time they played. This is a game Philly would love to get with the next three coming with room service. The Sixers have not lost at home and they beat this club last month despite fact Ben Simmons was just 5 for 20 from the floor. He will be sky high to compete against Walker here |
11-08-18 | Clippers v. Blazers -5 | 105-116 | Win | 100 | 11 h 11 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Clippers have not beaten a quality team that was at full strength so far (OKC was without Russell Westbrook, Rockets were missing key guys twice). Two wins came against iffy opposition and they won the last game against the drama known as Minnesota. On top of that, Clips guard Avery Bradley has a bad ankle. Portland’s Evan Turner stepped up Tuesday in the win over the Bucks. Damian Lillard figures to be locked down after going 5 for 15 in that game. And C.J. McCollum continues to excel. He poured in 40 Tuesday with 5 boards, 6 assists, and 4 steals. Portland won the series with this club last year 3-1. |
11-07-18 | Nuggets -3 v. Grizzlies | 87-89 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 16 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Nuggets just took down the beast in the East, Boston, and would like to get this game with a nice home stand on the horizon. As good as a passer that Marc Gasol is for Memphis, he may meet his match with Nikola Jokic. The Denver big man dropped 16 dimes in the win over Utah 4 nights ago and then had 10 assists in the win over the Celts. Sure, Jamal Murray is not going to drop 48 like he did for Denver on Monday but he’s been averaging 19 and 5 dimes. |
11-06-18 | Bucks -1.5 v. Blazers | 103-118 | Loss | -105 | 5 h 11 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units This is the fourth home game for Portland on this stand. They punished teams in 2 of those games and then were handled by the Lakers. AlFarouq Aminu is a nice cornerstone player for the Blazers but he just doesn’t appear quick enough to contain Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Bucks are playing at a high level. In the demolition of the Kings on Sunday, 4 of the 5 starters played 28 minutes or less. In their lone loss this season they just came out flat against the Celts and never really recovered. One of the best assets for Milwaukee is their length and they can bring a tricky Ersan Ilyasova off the pine for energy. This is a game that Eric Bledsoe will have to thrive to try to put a damper on the Portland guards and make them play defense |
11-05-18 | Celtics v. Nuggets -2 | 107-115 | Win | 100 | 10 h 15 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Denver is not an easy place to play. The Celts did beat Denver in the Mile High last season but Denver only had one poor quarter and it cost them. Boston has been solid but they have also won a lot of games that could have went either way. Three of their wins came by a total of 9 points. The Nuggets could be looking at this game in a ‘long term’ fashion. It’s pretty much accepted that Boston is the cream of the crop in the East but Denver has only lost once so far. And in that loss to the Lakers they had the lead with 12 minutes to go but they were careless with the ball with 19 turnovers. They just beat a solid Utah club and they beat them by holding the Jazz to 15 in the last stanza. |
11-05-18 | Rockets v. Pacers | 98-94 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 17 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Rockets are trying to make it three wins in a row but they needed a big second half to beat Brooklyn two games ago and then handled the struggling Bulls. Indy’s Victor Oladipo will not be intimidated by the Houston guards. He has had plenty of experience against them. The X factor in this game for the Pacers could be Bojan Bogdanovic, who is shooting over 50% from beyond the arc to kick off the season. |
11-04-18 | Wolves v. Blazers -6 | 81-111 | Win | 100 | 9 h 19 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units This is a poor timing for Minnesota as far as injuries to guards are concerned. Jeff Teague missed the last game with a bruised knee and Derrick Rose only played 5 minutes Friday with an ankle problem. Now, Minnesota has to play one of the best back courts in the game. Portland has played with a swagger for the last several season and that trend is continuing. |
11-04-18 | Kings v. Bucks -9.5 | 109-144 | Win | 100 | 4 h 25 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The guy who may have to guard the Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo could be Nemanja Bjelica, who is not known as a stopper. Milwaukee will be up for this one after just being beat by Boston. They also pack for a tough 4-game Western swing right after this game. Brook Lopez should be energized after scoring 2 points in the last game and it was just a few seasons ago when he was putting up 21 points a night. |
11-02-18 | Grizzlies +8 v. Jazz | 110-100 | Win | 100 | 5 h 9 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Memphis Grizzlies are defending at a high level and operating efficiently on offense, leading to wins in four of the last five games. The Utah Jazz, who host the Grizzlies on Friday, are trying to ride the same path up the standings and are returning home after stumbling at the end of a four-game road trip. The Grizzlies already own a 92-84 victory at Utah this season from Oct. 22 |
11-02-18 | Knicks +6.5 v. Mavs | 118-106 | Win | 100 | 5 h 45 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units Hardaway scored a season-best 37 points and drained a career-best seven 3-pointers on Wednesday but the Knicks fell 107-101 to the Indiana Pacers. The output was two shy of the 26-year-old guard's career best and he is the first New York player since Patrick Ewing to score at least 24 points in seven of the team's first eight games (Ewing did it in all eight). Dallas has dropped five consecutive games and trailed by 17 points after the opening quarter en route to suffering a 114-113 road loss against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday. |
11-02-18 | Thunder +3 v. Wizards | 134-111 | Win | 100 | 4 h 18 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units The Wizards have lost four consecutive games as they try to slow down the Thunder, who have won three contests in a row following an 0-4 start. Oklahoma City recovered from a 19-point, third-quarter deficit on Thursday to record a 111-107 victory in Charlotte. |
11-02-18 | Rockets v. Nets +4.5 | 119-111 | Loss | -102 | 4 h 54 m | Show
Rating: 2 Units James Harden is unlikely to be cleared for this ballgame. The Rockets could also be missing the guy that replaced Trevor Ariza in the off season, James Ennis. This is their first on the road after having their head handed to them by the Blazers in the 19-point loss on Tuesday. Brooklyn may not be a force just yet but they are moving in the right direction. They only had one poor quarter in their overtime win over Detroit on Wednesday and they were active underneath. They had 18 offensive rebounds and were a plus 24 in points in the paint. They have protected the rock too as the starters only had 6 turnovers against the Pistons. |
