Nico Collins
Last season was supposed to be a breakout for the Texans’ passing game — until injuries wrecked that plan. Now, with a healthy offseason under his belt, Collins could take a massive leap forward.
Clearly, his chemistry with C.J. Stroud matters. If the Texans avoid the injury bug this time, Collins has WR1 upside and should be in the mix deep into December.
Puka Nacua
Puka built on his record-setting rookie year with another strong campaign, but nagging injuries slowed him down. His physical style makes durability a long-term concern — especially over a 17-game grind.
Furthermore, with Davante Adams entering the fold, target share becomes a real issue. For Puka to lead the league in yards, he’ll need to stay on the field and fend off a future Hall of Famer.
Brian Thomas Jr.
Thomas came out of nowhere last year, racking up 1,282 yards to finish third in the league. Yet there’s skepticism around how much of that success came with Mac Jones at QB, not Trevor Lawrence.
Even so, talent shines through. Thomas looked the part all year, and if Lawrence develops a better rhythm with him, his ceiling might actually be higher than it was in Year 1.
