Both of these teams have to be disappointed so far. They are in good spots to try and sneak past weakened foes but have not taken advantage.
Atlanta is at home so that should give them an edge. Another season of wondering what is up with those guys though.
Tennessee Titans
After thumping Cleveland to start the season the Titans have not looked good the last couple of weeks. The offense has sputtered and that might be generous.

Marcus Mariota has never lived up to expectations. After watching him on Thursday night it just seems like the game is going to fast for him and he is afraid to make play. You can’t play that way and win in the NFL.
The defense can be good. They stymied Cleveland in the win and even in the losses they have played pretty well. Especially against the pass, they are third in the NFL so far.
This is a must win game for Tennessee. The first month of the season looks a lot different at 2-2 instead of 1-3. On the road it is nto going to be easy, especially if they have to score.
Look for a strong sense of urgency. I just don’t see that as being enough to get a win.
Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta is in the same boat as Tennessee at 1-2. They are coming off a tough loss at Indianapolis, which had beaten Tennessee the week prior, if that stuff is meaningful to you.

Matt Ryan has put up good early numbers but if you look closely he has missed some stuff too. Top target Julio Jones is in good form with at least one TD in every game. The fantasy players are loving that.
Devonta Freeman got the investment but he has not played well so far. The first two games were close to zeroes but 88 yards last week against the Colts might mean he and the running game are coming around.
The defense has been respectable in terms of yards allowed but 25ppg is not where the good teams sit. It is the same old story that defensive improvements are what will get Atlanta where they want to be.

Atlanta is usually much better at home than on the road. That has played out this season so far, their lone win was over Philly at home.
