Not many NFL teams, fans, or bettors have figured out the Bucs yet. Tampa has looked like a world-beater at times and dreadful at others. It has lost twice at home but won both of its road games, including last week when it dropped 55 on the Rams in Los Angeles.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
First, the Bucs got waxed by two touchdowns against San Francisco in Week 1. Then they came back to spring an upset of the Panthers in Carolina in the last game Cam Newton played before he went down.
The see-sawing continued in Week 3 when the Giants came into Florida and won by a point on the Bruce Arians/Matt Gay blunder in the final minutes. If it weren’t for that, the Bucs would have moved to 3–1 after hanging the fifty burger on the Rams last week.

The Bucs’ offense came out scorching on the ground and through the air. Chris Godwin had two touchdowns in the first half and finished with 12 catches for 172 yards. Mike Evans was quiet save for a 67-yard touchdown late in the game.
Jameis Winston finished with four touchdown passes but did have a pass intercepted for a touchdown in the fourth quarter that made things a little uneasy until Tampa Bay forced a fumble and scooped it for a defensive score of its own.
Shaq Barrett sacked Jared Goff once, his ninth of the season, and intercepted his first pass of his NFL career.
Tampa Bay is electric when it’s on. It isn’t always the case but these Bucs look like the best team in the division when they are on top of things.
This is a potential statement game for the young Bucs.

New Orleans Saints
The Saints won a much different sort of game on Sunday night against the previously undefeated Dallas Cowboys by a score of 12–10.
Will Lutz kicked four field goals to back New Orleans’ defense, which held Ezekiel Elliott to 35 yards on 18 carries (and the game’s only touchdown) and Dak Prescott to 223 yards and an interception.
Of course, that stellar defensive performance was barely enough. Teddy Bridgewater didn’t even crack 200 yards through the air, though he did complete 23 of his 30 pass attempts, including all nine he threw Michael Thomas’ way.
Alvin Kamara was held in check on the ground and finished with just 69 yards on 17 carries. The Saints’ O-line was beat up and Bridgewater went down five times.
I think that’s the key matchup in this game: New Orleans’ offensive line against Tampa Bay’s front and blitz packages. The Bucs won’t light the Saints up for 55 but they’ll be hard to stop.
If their defense can do something against the Saints, this could be a third road win for Tampa.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Tampa Bay with the points.
The Bucs have my interest. I’ll take Tampa with the 4.5 knowing that there is a chance the moneyline could cash but also an even greater chance that the two division rivals play a game that comes down to the wire.
