This week four matchup will see the Tampa Bay Buccaneers head out West to take on the Los Angeles Rams.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Buccaneers collapsed in the final few minutes in their game with the New York Giants and lost 32-31. This was a game they led by 18 points an even had a chance to win the game with a chip shot field goal, but it was not to be and now they find themselves with a 1-2 record and traveling to take on the runner up of last year.
The offense did play much better in this game, totaling 499 yards. This however came against a weak Giants defense so we will see how they respond against a top team.

Regardless of who Tampa Bay played, Jameis Winston did look much improved. He went 23 of 37 (62%), threw for 380 yards, three touchdowns and just one interception.
The rushing attack also had a decent game, going for 144 yards on the ground. They were led by Ronald Jones II, who had 80 yards on 14 carries.
The biggest story-line for the Buccaneers was Mike Evans. Evans exploded for 190 yards receiving and three touchdowns on just 8 receptions. He averaged 23.8 yards per catch and will need to be a huge impact player against the Rams if the Bucs are going to have any chancee of pulling an upset. The problem is, Mike Evans tends to be a big play or bust kind of guy and the Rams may double team him to prevent huge chunk plays.
The Bucs do have other receiving options, so if Evans is used as a decoy, it could open up the field an allow Winston to move the ball. The question still remains if Winston can be consistent an against a much better defense, he must avoid making mistakes.

The defense maybe played too conservative as they saw an 18-point lead evaporate pretty quickly in the second half. They allowed 384 yards in total, but most of these yards came through the air. They did limit the run game considerably, but it also helped that Saquon Barkley was forced to leave the game due to an injury.
Plain and simple, the secondary is going to have to play miles better if the Bucs are going to stand a chance. The Rams have so many weapons of the offensive side of the ball and if they got burned by a rookie making his first start, who knows what Jared Goff will do if given the chance.
Los Angeles Rams
The Rams quieted Cleveland on Sunday Night as they won this game 20-13. It was not exactly an exciting game, but nonetheless, they got the win and remain undefeated.
The offense for the Rams was lacking just a bit as they totaled 345 yards.
Jared Goff had an average game, throwing for 269 yards. He had two passing touchdowns, but also threw two interceptions. Playing at home should get him back on track and we should expect him to have a much better game against the Bucs secondary.
Gurley was held to just 43 yards on the ground and had just 14 carries. This is not good and the Rams will need to adjust big time to get him going.

The Rams did have two 100-yard receivers in this game, which was the highlight of the night on the offensive side of the ball. Brandin Cooks led the team with 112 yards and 8 receptions. However, it was Cooper Kupp who had 11 catches for 102 yards and two touchdowns. Kupp is starting to emerge as Goff’s favorite target and could be a huge issue to the Bucs secondary.
They defense was very good in this game and brought out the flaws in Baker Mayfield. A late drive by the Browns gave them a chance to tie the game, but the Rams held strong. They held the Browns to 270 yards of total offense.
The Browns may have Odell Beckham Jr, but the Bucs have Mike Evans, who can be just as explosive. He is the player they need to keep an eye on or Tampa Bay will score and hang around in this ball game.
NFL Betting Trends:

It is clear that the Rams tend to play much better at home and I think they are poised to put up a ton of points. Also, if Winston can play like he did against the Giants, there is a chance that the Buccaneers will hang around in this game and score a bunch of points as well. That said, I like the over to be the play in this game.
