Seattle Seahawks
Seattle may be 10–3 but it doesn’t feel like a dominant unit and opponents may be catching on.
The Rams thrashed the Seahawks, 28–12, as slight favorites at home on Sunday. Jared Goff looked rejuvenated with good mobility and noticeably better arm strength and threw for 293 yards and two touchdowns.

Stopping Goff was a secondary issue for Seattle on Sunday. The Rams’ defense shut the Seahawks’ passing game down. Russell Wilson finished twenty-two of thirty-six with an interception.
Seattle’s only touchdown came on an interception returned for a touchdown early in the second half by Quandre Diggs with the Rams already up 21–3. Jason Myers missed the extra-point and Diggs intercepted Goff again on the next possession but the offense went nowhere with it.
Since going 13/152/2 on eighteen targets against the Bucs in Week 9, Tyler Lockett has been virtually non-existent. He hurt his leg two weeks later, which is certainly still affecting him. He has said he’s fine but that’s the kind of player Lockett is, not to let-on about an injury. As a result, the other receivers are struggling.
Carolina Panthers
The Panthers didn’t look any different in Perry Fewell’s first game as the head coach following the firing of Ron Rivera.
Carolina gave up over 300 yards passing and another 160 rushing against the Falcons in a 40–20 loss. The game was close early, 10–10 late in the first half before Atlanta kicked a field goal to go ahead. The Falcons pulled away in the second half, though.

Matt Ryan looked comfortable on the vast majority of his drop-backs and played mistake-free quarterback. He connected on a ninety-three-yard bomb Olamide Zaccheaus midway through the third quarter, which made it 27–10.
But Carolina’s defense spent a lot of time on the field and it didn’t break until the second half. Back at home, the offense may control the ball a little better than it did in Atlanta and the defense may be able to reach for a little extra.
