Ravens vs. Cowboys Gameday
Baltimore and Dallas take the NFL to Rio de Janeiro on Sunday, meeting at Maracanã Stadium with both teams sitting 1-1. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 PM ET on CBS and Paramount+, with Dallas serving as the designated home team.
Jesse Minter’s Ravens opened with a 41-23 road win over Indianapolis before New Orleans handed them a 24-17 loss in Baltimore. Lamar Jackson has generated 633 yards between passing and rushing, while Derrick Henry has already found the end zone four times.
Dallas gets the designated home game, although Maracanã is a fairly long commute from Arlington.
The Cowboys bounced back from a 28-20 loss to the Giants by beating Washington 37-20. Dak Prescott threw four touchdown passes in that win, and Dallas arrives in Brazil averaging 28.5 points despite some serious defensive concerns.

This is the NFL’s first game in Rio and the eighth regular-season meeting between these teams. Baltimore owns a 6-1 series advantage and has won the last two, including a 28-25 victory in Dallas in 2024.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Dallas Cowboys Odds & Last 5
Baltimore is a 3.5-point favorite in Rio, with the Ravens around -175 on the moneyline and Dallas roughly +150. The total has climbed into the 52.5-to-53.5 range after opening considerably lower.
Baltimore’s offense has produced 818 yards through two games, averaging 409 per game.
The Ravens ran for 310 yards across their first two contests, with Henry accounting for 212. Baltimore didn’t finish enough drives against New Orleans, but Jackson still threw for 235 yards and ran for another 34 in the loss.
Dallas answered its Week 1 defeat with considerably more offense against Washington.
Prescott completed 26 of 31 passes for 279 yards and four touchdowns, while Lamb caught eight passes for 122 yards and three scores. The Cowboys have scored 57 points through two games.
The issue is what Dallas has surrendered.
Opponents have generated 783 yards against the Cowboys, including 347 on the ground. That’s 5.0 yards per carry heading directly into a matchup with Henry and Jackson, which isn’t exactly the cure Brian Schottenheimer ordered.

Cowboys Stats
Dallas is averaging 28.5 points through two games, with Prescott driving an offense that’s been far more dangerous through the air than on the ground. The Cowboys have generated 576 total yards while converting 15 of 22 third downs.
Prescott has completed 48 of 65 passes for 454 yards, six touchdowns and one interception. He’s also been sacked only twice and carries a 117.1 passer rating into Rio.
Lamb remains the matchup problem everyone knows is coming and still has to solve.
He has 13 receptions for 197 yards and three touchdowns, while George Pickens has added 68 yards. Jake Ferguson has caught two touchdown passes, giving Prescott another answer around the goal line.
The Cowboys haven’t found nearly as much on the ground.
Javonte Williams leads Dallas with 71 rushing yards on 24 carries, and Prescott is actually second on the team with 40. The Cowboys are averaging only 3.5 yards per carry.
Defensively, the problem has been flipped.
Dallas has allowed 391.5 yards per game, including 173.5 on the ground. The Cowboys have generated only two sacks, and opponents have converted 17 of 25 third downs.
Dallas is also heading to Brazil without linebacker DeMarvion Overshown, cornerback Cobie Durant and safeties Malik Hooker and P.J. Locke.
Missing three defensive backs is inconvenient enough before Lamar Jackson enters the conversation.
That depleted group now has to deal with a Baltimore offense averaging 6.6 yards per play.
Ravens Stats
Baltimore has generated 818 offensive yards through two games, averaging 409 per contest and 6.6 yards per play. The Ravens have been particularly dangerous on the ground, rushing for 310 yards at 5.2 per carry.
Jackson has thrown for 559 yards, two touchdowns and one interception while completing 67.9% of his passes.
He’s also rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown. Combine that with Henry’s 212 yards and four scores, and Baltimore has two runners Dallas would probably prefer not to see immediately after allowing 347 rushing yards.
Henry is averaging 5.3 yards per carry.
Mark Andrews leads Baltimore with 10 receptions, while Zay Flowers still owns the team lead with 150 receiving yards despite missing Week 2. Rashod Bateman has added 88 yards and a touchdown.
Flowers is questionable for Sunday after returning to limited work Friday with his hamstring injury.
The offensive line has a more definite absence. Left tackle Ronnie Stanley has been ruled out with a toe injury, leaving Baltimore without its starting blind-side protector against Dallas.
Defensively, the Ravens have allowed only 549 yards through two games.
Baltimore is giving up 3.6 yards per rush and has five sacks, with Tavius Robinson responsible for two. Nnamdi Madubuike and Trey Hendrickson carry no game designation after dealing with injuries during the week.
That front gets an interesting assignment against Prescott.
Dallas has protected him extremely well, so Baltimore can’t count on pressure doing all the work. Keeping Prescott from settling into the same rhythm he found against Washington will matter considerably more than the Cowboys’ modest rushing numbers.
Ravens vs. Cowboys QB Matchup
Jackson has completed 38 of 56 passes for 559 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He’s averaging 10 yards per attempt and has added 74 rushing yards, giving Dallas considerably more to defend than a traditional passing game.
The 2026 touchdown numbers haven’t exploded yet, but the explosives certainly have.
Baltimore has averaged 6.6 yards per offensive play, and Jackson’s mobility becomes especially relevant against a Cowboys defense already allowing 5.0 yards per rush.
Prescott has been more efficient around the end zone.
He’s completed 73.8% of his passes for 454 yards, six touchdowns and one interception. Four of those scores came against Washington, when Prescott posted a 143.8 passer rating and was nearly perfect once Dallas got rolling.

Lamb makes that production considerably more dangerous.
Baltimore has allowed only 209 net passing yards per game, but Prescott presents a different challenge with Lamb, Pickens and Ferguson available. Give him the clean pockets Dallas has provided through two weeks, and he’ll make Baltimore defend every part of the field.
Jackson gives Baltimore the bigger rushing dimension.
Prescott brings the hotter passing touchdown rate.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Dallas Cowboys bottom line: Baltimore owns the ground-game matchup Dallas least wants to see, but Jackson and Henry still have to turn that advantage into touchdowns because Prescott has already shown how quickly the Cowboys can answer through the air.

Ravens Cowboys Free Pick: Ravens -3.5
Here is my Ravens Cowboys free pick: I’m taking Ravens -3.5. Baltimore is coming off an ugly home loss, but this matchup gives Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry a pretty obvious place to start. Dallas has allowed 347 rushing yards through two games, and now it gets the NFL’s most annoying version of pick-your-poison.
Henry already has 212 rushing yards and four touchdowns, while Jackson has added 74 yards on the ground. Baltimore doesn’t need to turn this into a track meet if that combination can consistently put the Ravens ahead of the chains.
Dallas has allowed 5.0 yards per carry, and Baltimore couldn’t have drawn that weakness up much better.
Dak Prescott is the reason I don’t love laying more than this. He’s completing nearly 74% of his passes with six touchdowns, and CeeDee Lamb can punish a Baltimore secondary if the Ravens let Prescott operate comfortably.
But Dallas is traveling to Brazil without four defensive contributors, including three members of its secondary. That’s a rough time to meet Jackson after a loss.
Give me Baltimore to lean on Henry, make Dallas defend Jackson on the edges and eventually create enough separation.
