Pete Carroll got back to ground and pound in Week 3 and the result was Seattle’s first victory of the season in its first home game of the season.
Arizona hit double-digits in a game for the first time all season after managing just six points in its first two games, combined. The Cardinals again looked terrible in a home loss to Chicago.
Chris Carson carried the rock thirty-two times against Dallas for 102 yards and a touchdown. Russell Wilson seemed to enjoy sharing the load and completed sixteen of his twenty-six passes in the game.
Tyler Lockett is Wilson’s best weapon without Doug Baldwin available. Lockett caught another deep ball for a touchdown as he continues to do his best at the top of the depth chart with Baldwin out. When Seattle’s top receiver returns, the pecking order among receivers will make a lot more sense.
Baldwin’s eventual return (even though it may not be in this game) and the improving defense give Seattle fans two reasons to believe this team can get better as the season advances and overcome the 0–2 start.
Bobby Wagner returns to play against Dallas and made an impact; Earl Thomas had two more interceptions and the defense sacked Dak Prescott five times in total.
Seattle will go back on the road for the third time in four games but this is no ordinary road game against the winless Cardinals.
Arizona got up 14–0 on Chicago in the first quarter and didn’t score after that. The offense has been so dry for Arizona and it’s just hard to win in today’s NFL when you can so easily go a quarter, or more, without scoring any points.
Josh Rosen got in the game in the second half but threw his first career interception as the Cardinals were driving for what could have been a game-winning score. Sam Bradford got the hook after three consecutive turnovers in the second half.
It’s unclear whether the Cards will stick with Rosen or not. I’m not as confident they will go to their rookie as I am the Browns will turn back to theirs, but it feels like at least a coin flip.
Thing is, this offense isn’t close to competing with NFL defenses and it doesn’t matter who the quarterback is. The Cardinals look like they are surely the worst team in football, which happened quickly.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Seattle -3
I like Seattle simply because this Arizona team looks like it could stay winless for a while.
NFL Free Week 4 Score Prediction: Seattle 24 – Arizona 17
A new season-high in offense for Arizona but it won’t break twenty yet.
