The NFL season is finally here!
The preseason is over and the NFL season kicks off on Thursday night between the New England Patriots and the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Patriots will unveil yet another Super Bowl banner, and they will get their Super Bowl rings to kick off the pregame festivities.
The last time the Chiefs and the Patriots matched up was in the playoffs in 2016 when the Patriots came out ahead 27-20.
San Francisco 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers don’t have high expectations this year, but their coaching staff and fans were hoping to see a little better play then what they had in week one.
The defense didn’t look great, and the offense couldn’t get anything going early and that led to a 23-3 defeat at the hands of the Carolina Panthers.
Brian Hoyer went 24 of 35 for 193 yards and an interception in his debut with the 49ers. Pierre Garcon his top target had six catches for 81 yards but he did’t haul in any touchdown passes.
The closest they got to a touchdown was in the fourth quarter when they had a 4th and one from the one yard line but running back Carlos Hyde was stopped behind the line of scrimmage for a turnover on down.
On the defensive side of the ball the 49ers were already dealt a pretty big blow. Reuben Foster has a pretty bad high ankle sprain and is expected to miss a couple of weeks.
He is a big part of the defense so if he has to miss a few couple of weeks that is going to be a huge blow for their chance to pull the upset in this game and going forward.
To win this game it starts with the offense and their play. Brian Hoyer needs to play better and do a better job of moving the team up and down the field.
On the other side of this match up is the Seattle Seahawks who didn’t look like a team that hopes to play in the Super Bowl in the first game against the Green Bay Packers.
All the problems for the Seahawks started with the offensive line. They couldn’t get a run game going, and Russell Wilson had zero time to throw the ball.
That only allowed to Wilson to throw for 158 yards and zero touchdowns. He is going to need to be a lot better in this game if they want to win.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Seahawks were actually good for the most part in game one, but a team can only keep Aaron Rodgers down for so long.
To win this game the offense needs to be better, and the defense needs to create some turnovers.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Seahawks -8
I think the first game was more of a fluke then anything for the Seattle Seahawks and they will turn it around in week two.
NFL Free Week 2 Score Prediction: Seahawks 35 – 49ers 13
Russell Wilson is going to have a huge game, and that will lead the Seahawks to a huge win that covers the spread.
