4* Free Week 3 NFL Betting Prediction: 49ers -5
I’m not expecting a total repeat from their last meeting.
Kyle Shanahan has already confirmed that Brock Purdy will take the reins again, after getting some solid work in last week. However, don’t be surprised if the starters get only limited action, with both teams focusing on evaluating the fringe players fighting for a spot on the 53-man roster.
With the betting total set at 35.5, and live odds shifting as we inch closer to kickoff, this game is an intriguing one for those looking to make sharp plays on the preseason action.
For this week three pre-season matchup between the 49ers and Raiders, we have the Raiders coming in as 5-point dogs. Our pick against the spread is to take the 49ers to cover, with a final score prediction of 28-17 in favor of the 49ers.
As for the best way to bet this one, we like the 49ers to cover. With the point spread sitting at 35.5, our pick is to take the over, with a projected combined score of 45 points.
