Mike Tomlin, ever the strategist, is keeping his cards close to his chest, planning to reveal his lineup decisions just days before kickoff. While these teams won’t clash in the regular season, don’t count out a possible Super Bowl LIX showdown.
Betting lines have Pittsburgh at -262 on the moneyline, while Detroit sits at +212, with the total over/under set at 35.5.
With these odds, there’s value in watching where the sharp money lands, especially with Tomlin’s Thursday reveal likely shifting the lines.
Our pick vs. the spread is to take the Lions to cover as home underdogs. Right now, the point spread lines have the Lions at +6, and with our projected final score being 23-17 in favor of the Steelers, the Lions are our pick to cover.
For the over/under, with the line sitting at 35.5 points, we are leaning towards taking the over, with our projected combined score being 40 points.
