AFC North rivals clash as Pittsburgh and Cleveland open the season in the Turnpike Rivalry.
With 130 meetings and counting, this NFL matchup is the oldest rivalry and the most talked about in the AFC. Big Ben’s Steelers have currently won 4 in a row versus the Browns.

The rivalry has been completely one sided over the past seasons as the Steelers have dominated the Browns in every aspect.
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers are poised for another big run this season as the AFC North favorites.
Pittsburgh is considered the favorite to give New England a run for the top spot and it will look to their star QB Ben Roethlisberger to carry the load for them.
Last season, Roethlisberger threw for 3819 yards while logging 29 touchdowns.
Against the Browns last season, Roethlisberger threw for just 167 yards in his lone start against them. However he did complete 23 of the 36 passes thrown as the run game with Le’Veon Bell was in complete control.

Bell rumbled for nearly 1300 yards last season and 146 of those game against these Browns.
The Pittsburgh rushing attack is one of the best in the NFL, as this offensive line has shown the ability to get plenty of push up front.
There are in my opinion only a few players that could skip the team’s entire training camp and resume the kind of workload he’ll get.
“I wanted to make sure I was prepared and fresh for the season,” Bell said. “I don’t want to go out there and jeopardize myself getting hurt in camp. Obviously I understand I’m on a one-year deal, so I have to go out there and prepare and play football.”
On top of that, star WR Antonio Brown is set up for another huge season, as Martavis Bryant has been able to take a lot of pressure off him.
Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns can only go up from last season. After winning just one game in 2016, the Browns will look to build off what was a successful preseason.
Cleveland ran the table, going 4-0, as their defense was a huge backbone and will enter the regular season with tons of confidence.
Cleveland decided to part ways with Brock Osweiler, leaving the starter job to rookie DeShone Kizer. After looking sharp in the preseason, Kizer won the gig in the 3rd week, while his backup still remains to be seen.

Myles Garrett will be a huge boost on the defensive side of things, as Cleveland has to improve from last season.
The Browns ranked 30th in points allowed and 31st in yards against.
Overall, the Browns have lost 13 of their last 15 regular season home games.

NFL Free Week 1 Score Prediction: Pittsburgh 31- Cleveland 10
The Steelers will wear the Browns down here in this one and pull away in the 2nd half. I promise you one more thing…we won’t see Pittsburgh winning in OT on a TD pass from QB Landry Jones to Cobi Hamilton.
We might still see the Browns finish 1-15.
