4* Free Week 8 NFL Betting Prediction: Giants +3
Barkley will be OK this week after hyperextending his arm vs. the Commanders. He logged 21 for 77, had 3 receptions for 41 yds and a TD. That’s good news for the Giants!
Defensively, New York looked good in their most recent game vs. Washington. For this week’s best bet, I like the GMEN to cover with the line currently sitting at +3.
The Jets are 2-5 SU in their last 7 games against the Giants and are 1-6 in their last 7 on the road. (Even though they’re at home this week! LOL)
At this point of the season the Jets do pass the eye test more than the Giants but I (somehow) trust Barkley and Taylor/Jones & Waller more than I trust the Jets offense.
Last week Waller was the best receiver for the Giants, grabbing 7 for 98, and I don’t know how the Jets will stop him. His game is on another level. He led the Giants in catches, receiving yards and targets on the day, it was nice to see him get his first TD from Tyrod Taylor in the second quarter. I expect more of the same.
New York’s games this season have produced an average of 38.7 points. With the over/under line set at 36.5, I’m opting for the over.
The total has gone OVER in 4 of the Giants’ last 6 games against the Jets.
