After my analysis of this matchup featuring the Jets and Cowboys, I’m backing the Jets to cover on the road.
The Jets posted an 8-9-0 record ATS last season. Away from home, they were 9.5-point underdogs one time and they covered, just saying.
In Week 1, the Cowboys showcased their dominance, taking down the Giants, and on the other side the Jets had a surprising but chaotic victory.
Most “experts” early in the week are on the Boys in this ATS, but I’m here to defy the odds and stand by the Jets.
They are currently 8-point underdogs, and I see them covering at this number.
On the over/under, I have the best bet being to take the over at 42.
There is more than enough offensive talent on the field in this game that one has to think there could be some points scored, and this game won’t be all about the defenses.
Prescott, Pollard, Rush, Lamb, Gallup, and Cooks, combined with Hall, Cook, Wilson, Lazard, Conklin and Hardman Jr. tells me there are weapons and fantasy football lineups to be had here!
This looks like a slam dunk bet for me, as my gut tells me the over will hit as well as our model projecting a combined 46 points.
