It’s hard to imagine the New York Giants without a win right now, but it’s true folks. The New York Giants lost to the Los Angeles Chargers this past weekend
The Giants are joined by the 49ers and Browns as the only winless teams in the NFL.
The Denver Broncos are coming off their early bye week as they are well prepared for this Sunday night game.
New York Giants
It’s hard to think the New York Giants still have life in them after this past weekend against the Los Angeles Chargers.
It was a well-rounded game by them, however their offense is officially completely gone. Injuries to wide receivers Odell Beckham JR, Brandon Marshall, Sterling Shepard and Dwayne Harris happened all within a span of four quarters.
For Marshall, and Shepard they are looking at a small ankle problem which they are hopeful in returning in the upcoming weeks.
While Odell suffered a season ending injury that will hurt the New York Giants for the rest of the season.
With key injuries on the receiving side of the ball, New York must find a new ground game to separate them from the rest. They might have found one as well.
In their loss, New York totaled 152 rushing yards on 25 carries. New York used three running backs throughout the game due to starter Paul Perkins being sidelined with an injury.
The Denver Broncos are relaxing after their early bye week, as they will go up against one of the worst teams in the NFL. Not to mention it will be at Mile High Stadium. I wonder if Eli will be able to handle that.
Opening the game as 11.5 favorites, Denver will be looking to stay close to the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs.
It looks to be a two way race in that division as Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr has been sidelined due to a back injury.
One of the reasons Denver has been successful so far this season has been due to their running back C.J. Anderson.
On the season, Anderson has totaled 330 rushing yards, 67 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He’s been able to get drives going as he’s averaging around 4.5 yards per carry.
Denver can easily win this matchup just on the ground on Sunday night.
NFL Betting Trends:

- Giants are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous game
- Broncos are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games on grass
- Broncos are 4-1 ATS vs. a team with a losing record
4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Broncos -11.5
With the only threat on offense gone, I don’t see how New York will be able to get double digits on the board.
NFL Free Week 6 Score Prediction: Giants 7 – Broncos 21
Watch Denver use the ground game to secure a huge victory as Eli Manning starts to hit one of his worst seasons in his career.
