New Orleans was dreadful last week, their loss to Atlanta perhaps the most surprising result of the weekend. Still they are favourites on the road.
Tampa was also a disappointment…until the very end. They snatched a win late to halt a four-game losing streak. Possible season saver, for a week.
New Orleans Saints
The Saints could not have come out flatter than they did last week against Atlanta. They played their worst game of the season losing to the lowly Falcons. It was all the more disappointing because the Saints were off their bye week.
The only thing to say about that one is that it was good that it came when it did and not in the playoffs. New Orleans is well-coached and I am sure Sean Payton will use the embarrassing loss to motivate the troops. This is a game they should win.
Mark Ingram is in Baltimore but there is something up with the running game. Alvin Kamara was supposed to be unleashed this season but he does not have a 100-yard game and just one rushing TD after 14 on the ground last season. I don’t see how he is going to make that up down the stretch.
The New Orleans defense has been good this season but they are going to be challenged by Tampa which has a good passing attack. They will need to be stout on the road.
This game should be interesting. Will the Saints be mad or businesslike.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs know they can move the ball and score. Still, they waited till the very end of the game to finally put away Arizona last week. The win halted a four-game losing streak.
Once again Jameis Winston made his share of mistakes. Bruce Arians was supposed to come in and “whisper” him to the next level but it just hasn’t happened. They are fourth in scoring though.
They need to be because they are dead last in scoring defense yielding 31ppg. They gave up exactly that in a road loss to the Saints in October and not much has changed really.
With the win last week their season might not be over yet but there is a lot of work to do. I am not sure they are ready to have to beat a good team though. Two of their three wins are against teams with winning records though.
This one will be all about the first quarter. New Orleans will be ready but will the Bucs? That has not really been their style this season.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Saints -6
I expect a lot of money on the New Orleans side and for this one to get to seven. Might as well get on it now.
NFL Free Week 11 Score Prediction: New Orleans 31 – Tampa Bay 21
Look for the Saints to really take it to the Bucs early. I am expecting Brees to have a near-perfect first half before they take their foot off the gas.
