This week two matchup is a rematch of the NFC Championship between the New Orleans Saints and the Los Angeles Rams. If you have not seen the missed pass interference call from last year, get ready to because they are sure to show the replay many times in this game.
New Orleans Saints
A wild back and forth week one contest saw the New Orleans Saints take down the Houston Texans by a score of 30-28.
There were about 13 points scored in the final minute, proving how good the offenses were and how bad the defenses were.

The New Orleans offense torched their opponents defense, totaling 510 yards of offense. Brees threw for 370 yards in this game and had 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. Most of his success came after halftime, so whatever was said at the break worked.
Alvin Kamara led the Saints with 97 rushing yards on 13 carries. He also added 72 receiving yards on 7 receptions.
The receiving core easily had the most success in this week one contest. Michael Thomas led the way with 123 receiving yards on 10 catches. Ted Ginn Jr. was right behind Thomas with 101 receiving yards on 7 receptions. The most surprising contribution was Taysom Hill, who is the back up quarterback, and he caught a touchdown pass.

The defense played well for most of the second half, but they faulted down the stretch when they allowed the Texans to score and take the lead in the final minute or so of regulation.
They allowed 414 total yards in the game and specifically allowed 180 rushing yards, which could be a huge problem next week. If their run defense does not improve, Gurley and company are going to run all over this Saints defense and make it much harder for them to win.
Los Angeles Rams
The Rams handled Carolina in their opening game, winning by a score of 30-27. Many would have thought that the Rams would come out flat because of the “Super Bowl Hangover”, but they played a decent game that got them the win.
Despite winning the game, Jared Goff did not exactly look very sharp. He went 23 of 39, threw for only 186 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception.
He should have more success in this upcoming game because the Saints do not exactly have a stout defense.
The Rams also had a decent game on the ground as Todd Gurley led the way with 97 yards rushing. Malcolm Brown had just 53 yards rushing, but was responsible for 2 of their 3 touchdowns.
Defensively, the Rams had some issues, but overall had a decent performance. They allowed a total of 343 yards. It was mainly Christian McCaffrey that they could not stop.
Sunday Week 2 #NFL betting action we get the New Orleans #Saints vs. Los Angeles #Rams. Line opened with the Rams a -3 favorite and the O/U at 53.5. Most books have it at Rams -2.5, and O/U at 52.5. What say you NFL Bettors?

The Rams allowed McCaffrey to rush for 127 yards and 2 touchdown while also allowing him to catch 10 passes for 81 yards. This is somewhat of a concern because the Saints have Alvin Kamara, who could do just as much damage or more if given the opportunity.
The Saints also have Michael Thomas at receiver, so there is another threat the Rams will have to game-plan for in this Saints’ offense.

Both offenses can score points in a hurry and I like for the over to be the play in this game.
NFL Free Week 2 Score Prediction: Saints 34 – Rams 31
I believe the Saints will be looking for revenge and will edge out the Rams in a battle of two of the best teams in the NFC.
