4* Free Week 3 NFL Betting Prediction: New York +3
For the point spread, I’m backing New York at +3.
Fun fact: Bill Belichick hasn’t been 0-2 since 2001. But that’s exactly where he is right now, and I’m betting he goes to 1-2, but 0-3 ATS after this week.
The Jets/Pats games are always pretty darn entertaining to watch for neutral observers and gamblers, and I’m not expecting anything less than a typical AFC East slugfest in this one.
I believe the New York rushing game will take full advantage of the issues in New England’s defense, which had trouble defending the run in their last game.
So far in ’23, Mac Jones hasn’t had much time to operate, and his offensive line has been below par. Do you reckon the Jets’ defense is going to grant him time on Sunday? I doubt it. They’ll be after him all day.
Whoever has the ball last likely wins, and just another thought here… the turnover battle will be key.
Make your bet now on New York with +3.
So far, all of New England’s games have had over/under lines higher than this week’s line of 37. For this matchup, I’m taking the over as we have this game projected to finish with 40 points.
