Minnesota was barely pushed by Atlanta in their season opener. Now they have a chance to be the only 2-0 team in the division if they can win on the road.
Green Bay won a slugest in the season opening Thursday nighter. It was a greta strategic win too getting a road win and a division win without even scoring a couple of touchdowns.
Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota played well and had a relatively easy win in Week 1.

They were up 28-0 at the end of the third quarter and only a couple of late, meaningless TDs make it look closer.
Always playing with the lead they barely three the ball – just 10 attempts by Kirk Cousins. That low a number is almost unheard of in the current NFL.
Good field position and a strong running game took the emphasis off the passing game and that might be the secret to success for a team that seems to come up short more often than not.

The defense played well with four sacks and two interceptions. Minnesota might have found their best blueprint for success going forward.
This is a huge game even though it it only Week 2. If Minnesota wins the rest of the divisions will be chasing all season long.
Green Bay Packers
It was not pretty but a road win over a division opponent will be taken any way it can be gotten in the NFL. Green Bay won 10-3 last week.
The story was the defense which was impressive but it needs to be noted that Chicago is not offensive juggernaut. Still there is hope for the Cheeseheads this season.
Chicago also has a good defense and they made the Packers look pretty ordinary in the opener. This matchup might not be any easier though. Minnesota is good on D too.
Aaron Rodgers did not look great except for the fact that he is clearly focused on winning and not on his own stats at this stage of his career.
With last week’s win already banked there is less pressure on Green Bay this week. Still they know the importance of playing from ahead.
