We have an NFC North battle here as the Chicago Bears host the Minnesota Vikings. The Bears are starting to struggle, once keeping pace with the Green Bay Packers to now barely staying above .500. Even a wild-card spot is starting to look hazier, despite there being an extra playoff spot.
Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings were once 1-5, but two wins in a row have moved them to 3-5. They are also pretty much out of the divisional race, and a wild card spot is even more unlikely. Though they do not play the hardest remaining schedule in the world, but still, a lot is going to have to happen.
The Vikings offense has been having success lately and it starts with Dalvin Cook. He just rushed for 206 yards and two touchdowns against the Lions and might just be the best running in the NFL at the moment. Kirk Cousins managed this game as well, throwing for 220 yards and three touchdowns. Most importantly, he did not turn the ball over. The Vikings now rank as the 11th best offense, averaging 382 yards per game. They are the 3rd best rushing offense, averaging 160.4 yards per game. Finally, they have increased their recent weeks to 27.1 points per game.
Defensively, the Vikings allowed 421 yards to the Lions. Most of these yards were through the air (305), but the Vikings forced three interceptions. Minnesota still ranks as the 29th best defense in the league and 30th best against the pass. They also allow an average of 29.2 points per game.
Chicago Bears
The Bears have now lost three games in a row and are starting to struggle on the offensive side of the ball. Nick Foles did just throw for 335 yards against the Titans, but as a team, Chicago had 56 rushing yards. They also fumbled the ball twice, one of which that directly led to a Tennessee touchdown. Keep in mind that the Bears were down 24-3 before making a comeback, so even though the score was close, they did not play well.
The Bears’ defense however, did a very good job in limiting the Titans’ offense. They allowed just 228 yards, 158 through the air and 92 yards on the ground. Even more impressively, they allowed Derick Henry just 68 yards on 21 carries. Chicago now ranks 15 in the NFL in rushing defense, allowing 116.9 yards per game. That will be a major key in this particular game because Cook has been running over literally every defense as of recently.
The Bears actually rank 9th in total defense and 8th in passing defense, so do not be surprised if they find success in making stops. Not to mention, they only allow 21.1 points per game.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Under 44.5
With a stout defense for Chicago, they might be able to slow down this Vikings’ offense just enough to keep them in check. The Bears on the other hand, do not have enough scoring in them to keep up, so I will back the under.
