Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins opened up their season against the New England Patriots and they were able to beat the New England Patriots 20-7. At halftime the Dolphins were up 17-0 and they never looked back as they cruised to the victory.
Tua Tagovailoa completed 23 of his 33 passes for 270 yards and a touchdown. Tyreek Hill caught eight passes for 94 yards. Jaylen Waddle also caught four passes for 69 yards and a touchdown.
The running game didn’t get a whole lot going and that is something that is going to need to be improved upon moving forward. Chase Edmonds had 12 carries for 25 yards and he was the top rusher.
Baltimore Ravens
On the other side of this matchup is the Ravens and they opened up their season with a 24-9 victory over the New York Jets. At halftime they were only up 10-3 but they never looked back as they cruised to the victory.
Quarterback Lamar Jackson has completed 17 of his 30 passes for 213 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. Rashod Bateman had a nice season catching two passes for 59 yards and a touchdown.
The Dolphins running game also wasn’t great in the first game. Kenyan Drake rushed 11 times for 31 yards. Even Jackson only rushed six times for 17 yards.
