4* Free Week 4 NFL Betting Prediction: Los Angeles +1.5
The side I’m playing on the spread, is to take the Rams on the road. With the line, sitting at +1.5, I’d be looking to act now on getting some action on Los Angeles.
I was high on Los Angeles this past week thinking they’d go for the jugular on the Bengals (especially since we thought Burrow would be out). Sadly that game didn’t go well for Rams backers, unless you somehow were able to get them at +3. (I didn’t)
This week, I expect the Colts to actually have a hard time containing Atwell (17 catches for 246 yards and a touchdown this season.) & Puka Nacua. (30 catches for 338 yards.)
Matthew Stafford hasn’t looked great if you do a deep dive on him. (60% completion %, 910 Yards passing, 2TD’s / 4INT’s, and a 74.5 QBR) But I think he’ll get right versus the Colts D and their zone schemes. McVay is a mastermind and he’ll have something whipped up for this one.
I’m just not sold on the Colts yet. If they beat the Rams and look good doing it I’ll likely be converted.
For this matchup, I’m going to be hammering the under, as our model has Los Angeles and Indianapolis combining for 39 points.
Right now the over/under line is sitting at 44.5, so I’d recommend getting some action on the under.
