The Chargers are not great but they are keeping the pressure on the Chiefs by continuing to win. They look playoff bound and maybe they have the right mix to do some damage there. This looks like an easy win on the surface.

Oakland is a tire fire right now. They just got embarrassed on Thursday night but at least they have a little extra time to prepare.
Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers are coming off a nice road win at Seattle, that’s a tough place to play, this one will be much easier. It was not a command performance but they took the lead going into the second half and held.
The key to beating the Seahawks was being able to stop one of the best running games in the NFL. They also got their own running game going with Melvin Gordon, he had 117 yards on the ground. They should be able to get what they want against the Raiders.

Philip Rivers was good but not great against Seattle – it was his 7th 100+ rated game of the season though and his low is just 97. His best game of the season came against Oakland the first time they met, a 26-10 in L.A.
In that one the Chargers dominated, holding Oakland to less than 300 yards of offense (less than 50 on the ground). A similar defensive effort can be reasonably expected.
Oakland Raiders
It is hard to say who is the worst team in the league this season but Oakland would definitely get some votes. They have just the one win but it was against Cleveland and all of their losses except for one have been by more than a touchdown.
Two years ago Derek Carr was one of the up and coming quarterbacks in the league but now he is just plain lost. The talent around him in terrible and it is probably too much to expect him to be able to really elevate it.

Needless to say Jon Gruden is not providing much immediate value in Oakland. I am not pinning this season on him but he has to take some of it.
As we go through the second half it is really hard to imagine that Oakland is going to show much improvement. Injuries and trades have robbed them of some of the key pieces that were supposed to bring the team success.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Los Angeles -10
That is a lot more points than I would like to give up on the road but fading Oakland is a must.
NFL Free Week 10 Score Prediction: Los Angeles 31 – Oakland 13
Look for L.A. to get up early in the first half and then put it into cruise control. They should have enough of a working margin that a backdoor won’t be too dangerous.
