The Chargers lost their second game in a row this past Sunday to the Oakland Raiders. This just proves that their season has gone completely off the rails. The strange part is this team has a ton of talent, they just cannot seem to play consistent football.

Despite their poor record, the Chargers have a good defense. At least in terms of their defensive stats. They allow 311.5 total yards per game, the 6th best in the NFL. Their passing defense ranks 4th in the league, allowing 202 yards per game. Their rushing defense is decent compared to the rest of the teams, ranking 12th an allowing an average of 109.5 yards per game.
Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs put a beat down on the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night, beating them 26-3. They have now won five games in a row and still have a small chance to claim the number two seed in the AFC.
Kansas City’s offense continues to roll after their game against the Bears. They now average 382.1 yards per game, the 4th best mark in the league. The Chiefs mainly rely on throwing the ball, averaging 288.3 yards per game through the air. They also are the 4th best scoring offense, averaging 28 points per game.
Their defense however has been off an on this season. During their five game winning streak, they have allowed an average of 9.6 points per game. This is miles better than their overall average of allowing 19.1 points per game.
They do struggle to stop the run, allowing 129.5 yards per game, however knowing that the Chargers only rushed for 19 yards against the Raiders should give them hope in slowing down their rushing attack.
