Week six of the NFL season closes out on Monday night.
It’s an AFC South showdown that could go a long ways in deciding who comes out as the champion of a very tightly contested division.
The Indianapolis Colts make the trip to Tennessee to take on the Titans. This game has a lot of question marks surrounding the quarterback position coming in.
The Indianapolis Colts have not had a good season so far, and the way they have played they probably should be 0-5.
But they have found ways to beat some teams who were playing some really bad football and they come into this game with a 2-5 record.
On the bright side they have won those two games without Andrew Luck, who no one is really sure when he will return this season.
It could be a couple weeks or he could be out the rest of the season. The Colts have not released much information regarding this.
Starting in his place has been Jacoby Brissett who has played decent for a guy who came over to the team only a few days before the season started.
In the last game against the 49ers he threw for 314 yards and although he threw an interception for the most part he looked good.
The game went to overtime, but Adam Vinatieri hit a clutch kick to make the Colts a walk off winner.
On the defensive side of the ball the Colts have really struggled. They are giving up 397.4 yards per game which is 31st in all of football.
To win this game the defense is going to need to be better. They can’t let the Titans, a team that has struggled on offense move the ball up and down the field on them.
On the other side of this match up is the Tennessee Titans who have had all kinds of struggles this year, and now they don’t know if their quarterback will play in this one.
Marcus Mariota has a strained hamstring and is questionable or doubtful in this game depending on what reporter you listen to.
If he can’t go it will be Matt Cassel getting the start in this game, and he struggled in the last game against the Dolphins.
He only threw for 141 yards and one touchdown and he struggled all night to get anything going. If he is going to be play again in this game, they are going to need better results out of him.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Titans also need to be better. Two games ago they played the Houston Texans and let up 57 points against them.
Now in the last game they only gave up 16 against the Marlins but that was more about what the Dolphins struggled doing rather then what the Titans did well.

Even with Matt Cassel playing in this game if that’s who gets the start, the are the better team in this one.
NFL Free Week 6 Score Prediction: Titans 21 – Colts 14
I think the defense will step up big in this one, and that will lead to a victory by the home team, and they will move to .500 on the season.
