4* Free Week 3 NFL Betting Prediction: Indianapolis +7.5
For my point spread prediction in this Colts vs. Ravens showdown, I’m going with the Colts to cover while playing on the road. Currently, they are 7.5-point underdogs, and I believe they will cover this spread.
I don’t have a lot to offer on this play with regards to an opinion on the spread. I think Baltimore wins by 3-6 points. Can they cover? Sure. Will they? That’s another matter altogether.
This has all the feels of a trap game. So I’m avoiding the spread and looking at the total in this one.
Both the Colts and Ravens are coming off wins, and they’ve both defeated the same team this season – the Houston Texans. We can learn a lot from teams with a common opponent.
The analysis we’ve been running for this game has the Colts and Ravens finishing with a combined 39 points. With the over/under line sitting at 44,
Why? A Simple Trend / Fact: In the last 10 meetings between these teams, the under has hit in 8 of them.
Baltimore limited Houston to only 9 points. The Colts limited Houston to 20 points. Both teams really got after Stroud with numerous pressures and sacks. I think both can do that to each other in this one.
Also, both teams are in the middle of the NFL pack in terms of pace of play. I can see the clock running all day in this one as both teams attempt to establish their run games.
I’m getting a bet down on the under.
