It’s going to be a big night in Atlanta on Sunday night football!
The Green Bay Packers will come to town to take on the Atlanta Falcons in the first NFL game to be played in the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
This game is a rematch of the playoff game last year. A game that the Atlanta Falcons absolutely dominated on the way to the Super Bowl.
Both of these teams won their first game, and will look to move 2-0 on the season.
Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers first game against the Seahawks wasn’t pretty by any means, but they came out ahead when the final horn sounded and in the NFL that’s all that matters.
The most impressive part of the game was how well the defense played. They only allowed 248 yards and nine points total.
Aaron Rodgers got out to a slow start in the game, but at the end of the game the stats still looked really good. He threw for 311 yards and a touchdown.
He also had an interception which was his first pick in six games.
To win this game the Packers need to get out to the fast start. The stadium is going to be loud and rocking especially early on.
Aaron Rodgers needs to have a couple of big drives early to really try and take the Falcons and their crowd out of it early.
People wondered if the Atlanta Falcons would suffer a Super Bowl hangover, especially after the way they lost the game.
In their first game against the Chicago Bears, it sure looked like they might be suffering something. They didn’t look very sharp on either side of the ball and although it led to a victory it was a lot closer then anyone thought it would be.
They had to stop the Bears with under a minute left inside the ten yard line to preserve the victory. They came out with a 23-17 victory.
The surprising star of the game for the Falcons was Austin Hooper. Although he only had two catches they were big ones going for 128 yards and one touchdown. If he can step up big this year and give Matt Ryan another weapon that would be huge.
To win this game the defense needs to be really good. They need to be smart and can’t let Aaron Rodgers catch them with too many men on the field or get drawn offside.
If they can play smart and the defense can show Rodgers some exotic looks, they could get a win in their first ever home game in the new stadium.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Packers +3
The adrenaline is going to be really high in this one for the Falcons early, but I don’t think that is going to be enough to win the game.
NFL Free Week 2 Score Prediction: Packers 27 – Falcons 23
I think the Packers will be motivated to make up for that terrible loss in last years playoff.
Aaron Rodgers will have a huge game and that will lead the Packers to the win.
