Here’s why I’m backing a Philadelphia ATS bet below in my Cowboys Eagles free pick & gambling prediction for this matchup.
Cowboys vs. Eagles Gameday
The Dallas Cowboys visit the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, October 26, 2026, at Lincoln Financial Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET on ABC and ESPN. Both NFC East rivals enter Week 7 with 2-4 records.
Brian Schottenheimer’s Cowboys are 1-2 on the road and have dropped their last two games. Dallas has enough offensive talent to compete, but its defensive inconsistency has made winning difficult.
That’s a dangerous combination in Philadelphia.
Two struggling NFC East rivals meet Monday, and neither can afford another divisional setback.
Nick Sirianni’s Eagles have lost four straight and are 1-2 at Lincoln Financial Field. Philadelphia is also adjusting to life without Jalen Hurts, leaving Tanner McKee in charge of an offense that has struggled to generate momentum.
It’s hardly the situation Sirianni envisioned entering October.
Dallas has the more established quarterback, while Philadelphia has home field and a defense capable of keeping games competitive. Both teams remain within reach of the NFC East race. Monday’s result could determine which club has a realistic chance to recover.
Rivalry games rarely need extra motivation, but this one certainly has it.
It’s Week 7, Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles, hopefully we get a great matchup.

Dallas opened at -216 on the moneyline, with Philadelphia at +180. The Cowboys opened as 4.5-point favorites at -109, while the Eagles receive +4.5 at -111. The opening total is 44 points, with the Over at -111 and Under at -109.
Dallas lost to Green Bay 23-13, Tampa Bay 24-16 and Baltimore 34-31. Its victories came against Houston 34-30 and Washington 37-20.
Those results haven’t provided much consistency.
Philadelphia fell to Carolina 25-14, Jacksonville 19-17, the Rams 24-20 and Chicago 27-7. Its most recent victory came against Tennessee, 24-20, in Week 2.
Four straight defeats have put the Eagles under considerable pressure.
The teams split their 2025 meetings. Philadelphia won 24-20 at home in Week 1, while Dallas answered with a 24-21 victory in Week 12.
The Eagles also routed Dallas 41-7 at Lincoln Financial Field in December 2024. Recent meetings have demonstrated how quickly this rivalry can swing.

Eagles Stats From Last Week
Philadelphia averages 17.7 points and 255.5 offensive yards per game. The Eagles generate 173.3 passing yards and 82.2 rushing yards per contest. Their inability to sustain drives has put additional pressure on the defense.
DeVonta Smith leads the receivers with 26 catches for 310 yards and two touchdowns, but a hamstring injury will keep him out Monday. Rookie Makai Lemon and Hollywood Brown will have increased responsibilities.
That leaves Philadelphia short of proven receiving options.
Dallas Goedert has contributed 17 receptions for 180 yards and two touchdowns. The veteran tight end practiced fully Saturday and carries no final injury designation.
Philadelphia needs its available playmakers to produce, especially with several regular starters sidelined.
Defensively, the Eagles allow 22.8 points and 343.2 total yards per game. Opponents average 244.5 passing yards, exposing vulnerabilities in the secondary.
That coverage will face another demanding assignment.
Philadelphia has recorded eight sacks and three interceptions. The defense has struggled to generate consistent pressure, although it remains capable of forcing mistakes when opponents become careless.
Saquon Barkley is questionable with a hamstring injury after practicing fully Saturday. Nolan Smith Jr., Michael Carter II and Dontayvion Wicks have been ruled out.
Jonathan Greenard, Jalyx Hunt and Landon Dickerson are questionable. Sirianni will need contributions from his available depth players across several positions.
Cowboys Stats From Last Week
Dallas averages 25.2 points and 343.2 offensive yards per game. The Cowboys have generated much of their production through the passing game. Their ability to score hasn’t consistently translated into victories.
CeeDee Lamb leads the receiving corps with 48 catches for 577 yards and four touchdowns. George Pickens provides another dangerous target and practiced fully Saturday after dealing with a shoulder issue.
That gives Dallas considerable talent outside.
Javonte Williams leads the rushing attack with 317 yards and seven touchdowns. His ability to finish drives near the goal line has been an important part of the offense.
Defensively, the Cowboys allow 26.5 points per game and rank near the bottom of the league in yards surrendered. Their struggles have been especially noticeable when opponents establish manageable third downs.
Dallas has recorded eight sacks and just one interception. The Cowboys also carry a minus-four turnover differential, limiting the extra possessions available to their offense.
That’s a difficult way to win consistently.
Receiver KaVontae Turpin, linebacker Dee Winters and offensive tackle Drew Shelton are out. Linebacker Marist Liufau and safety P.J. Locke are questionable and would need to be activated from injured reserve.
Tyler Guyton and Cobie Durant practiced fully Saturday. Their availability gives Dallas welcome stability heading into Monday night.
Cowboys vs. Eagles QB Matchup
Dak Prescott enters Week 7 with 1,639 passing yards through six games. He’s thrown 10 touchdowns and five interceptions while completing 66.3% of his passes. Dallas relies heavily on his ability to create opportunities through the air.
Prescott has dangerous receivers capable of winning individual matchups. His biggest challenge has been avoiding costly decisions when the offense falls behind schedule.
Philadelphia will look to create those situations.
Vic Fangio’s defense can disguise coverages and force quarterbacks to hesitate. Prescott must recognize those changes quickly, particularly on obvious passing downs.
Tanner McKee is preparing for his second start of the season in place of the injured Hurts. He completed 26 of 45 passes for 215 yards and one touchdown against Carolina without throwing an interception.
McKee showed patience in his previous appearance but struggled to generate explosive plays. His receiving options are limited, increasing the importance of timing and accurate short throws.
Dallas will try to make him hold the football.

Prescott faces a Philadelphia secondary that has surrendered significant passing yardage. If the protection holds, he has opportunities to challenge the Eagles outside the numbers.
McKee faces a Cowboys defense that has struggled to pressure quarterbacks consistently. He’ll need to recognize coverage changes and avoid putting Philadelphia in difficult down-and-distance situations.
Prescott brings a substantial advantage in experience and established chemistry with his receivers. McKee must compensate with disciplined decisions and dependable execution from his supporting cast.
Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles bottom line: Prescott gives Dallas the stronger passing attack, but Philadelphia’s ability to protect McKee will determine whether this rivalry stays competitive.

Cowboys Eagles Free Pick: Eagles +4.5
Here is my Cowboys Eagles free pick: Eagles +4.5. Dallas is laying more than a field goal on the road with a losing record and a defense that hasn’t earned that kind of respect. I’m taking the points in Philadelphia. The Cowboys have struggled to control possession, which makes covering a larger spread more difficult.
If Philadelphia can force a couple of punts and avoid handing Dallas short fields, this number becomes awfully uncomfortable for the favorite.
Four and a half points matter in a divisional game.
Dallas has the better quarterback, but that doesn’t automatically make it the better bet.
My concern with the Cowboys is their inability to separate when games get tight. Philadelphia doesn’t need to win the statistical battle; it needs to stay within striking distance.
Dallas can win by a FG and still burn everyone laying the points. I’m taking the ugly side of this rivalry, and I’m not apologizing for it. The Cowboys haven’t shown enough to deserve this price on the road.
