4* Free Week 4 NFL Betting Prediction: Tennessee +2.5
Even though the Bengals picked up a win in their previous game, they got off to a slow start on offense.
I’m not fully sold on the Bengals’ performance this year. They did defeat the Rams on Monday Night Football, but was it a convincing win? I’d have to say no. While Mixon, Burrow, and Chase have shown signs of improvement, they haven’t met our expectations yet.
Burrow’s health isn’t at 100%, and it’s noticeable. Considering the formidable Titans Run Defense, I don’t anticipate much room for Mixon to maneuver this Sunday. Therefore, Burrow will likely have to rely on his arm to secure the victory.
Keep an eye on the Titans’ pass rush; it could be the game-changer. It’s worth noting that the Titans covered the spread the last time these teams met in Nashville. Despite the Titans being 4-5 ATS at home in their last nine games, I believe they’ll get back on track this Sunday and keep it a close contest.
Cincinnati has struggled lately, going 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven games.
Despite being favored vs. the Titans, I like the Titans to cover the spread at home (+2.5).
With this week’s over/under line being lower than the lines for all of Cincinnati’s games so far, I’m taking the over for this matchup. Our projection suggests that this game will end with 43 points.
