Fields hasn’t been completing enough passes, but the Bears also aren’t letting him throw a ton and at some point they just need to let him open it up a little more and start throwing. Khalil Herbert in the last game rushed 20 times for 157 yards and two touchdowns.
New York Giants
On the other side of this matchup is the New York Giants who sit with a 2-1 record overall but they were defeated on Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys. The Giants gave up 10 points in the 4th quarter and that was the difference as the Giants were defeated 23-16.
Daniel Jones completed 20 of his 37 passes for 196 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception. One of the good things for the Giants is Saquon Barkley looks like the Barkley of old, and they need him to have a big game here.
Sterling Shepard was hurt at the end of the last game and it’s hard to imagine that he’s going to be able to go in this game. Wide receivers are going to be at a premium, and they are going to need to have a big game.
