This week two matchup will see the Chicago Bears travel to the mile high city to take on the Denver Broncos. This will be the first home game for Denver since they renamed their stadium.
These teams last met in 2018 where the Bears won the game 24-23.
Chicago Bears
The Bears opened up the 2019 NFL season with a loss to the Green Bay Packers. The final score to this game was 10-3 an overall it was a very boring game to watch.

Considering the Bears only scored a field goal, their offense was all out of wack. They total 254 yards in this game which already has them ranked 24th in the NFL. Trubisky went 26 of 45 in this game and had 228 passing yards and 1 interception.
The running game was also a compete failure last Thursday as the Bears ran for 46 yards as a team. Their rookie, David Montgomery, who was hyped up all offseason, had just 18 yards rushing and 27 yards receiving. Heading into Denver is not going to make things any easier, so the Bears really need to focus on establishing the run.
The lone bright spot on the offense was Allen Robinson II. He had 102 yards receiving on 7 catches, but he was targeted 13 times.

As for the defense, the Bears looked about as good as possible for only allowing 10 points. They actually held the Packers to just 213 yards in total. Aaron Rogers threw for 203 yards, but he was under pressure all game long and did not look sharp. The Bear had 5 sacks in this game too which gave them a fighting chance.
They also held the Packers to 47 yards rushing in the entire game, so if there is anything positive to take away from this opening game, it is this Bears defense is still legit.
Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos looked pretty bad in their opener and therefore lost to Oakland 24-16. This game was close by the final score, but it was not until the final few minutes when Denver got their first touchdown.
The offense ended up with 344 total yards, but again, a few big plays happened down the stretch to get them a chunk of these yards.
Joe Flacco threw for 268 yards in this game and 1 touchdown.
The running game was pretty much noon existent as their leading rusher was Royce Freeman, who rushed for 56 yards on 10 carries. Phillip Lindsey was right behind him with 43 yards on 11 carries, so overall it was not a good game.
The lone bright spot was Courtland Sutton. He had 120 receiving yards on 7 catches. Emmanuel Sanders also played pretty well and had 86 yards on 5 catches and had the only touchdown for Denver.
The defense did not look like the Denver defense we are used to. They allowed 357 total yards, but allowed Oakland to convert on 10 of 14 third down plays.
Sunday Week 2 #NFL betting action we get the Chicago #Bears vs. Denver #Broncos. Line opened with the Broncos a -1 favorite and the O/U at 40.5. Most books have it at Bears -2.5 now, and O/U at 40. What say you NFL Bettors?

Playing the Bears next could give them a favorable matchup because Chicago also struggled to do anything on the offensive side of the ball.
NFL Betting Trends:

- CHI are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games overall.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: UNDER 40.5
The Bears defense is way too good to be giving up a ton of points to an offense that struggles. I will take the under and look for another defensive struggle.
