Week Six of the NFL season is here!
In this one it’s a cross conference match ups between two teams who probably have wished they would have played better so far this year.
The Chicago Bears will make the trip to Maryland to take on the Baltimore Ravens. The last time these two teams played was in 2013 when the Bears came out ahead 23-20.
The Chicago Bears season has gone exactly how most people expected that it would be, and that is a disaster. They come into this game with a 1-4 record but their win was a really big one.
Three games ago they played well at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers and actually pulled the upset winning 23-17.
Starting for the Bears will be Mitch Trubisky who made his first start of his career in the last game on Monday night football against the Minnesota Vikings.
He played decent and showed some flashes of what the future will hold for him, but he also showed everyone that he is a rookie and still will make mistakes.
He threw an interception on the Bears 20 yard line that set up the Vikings with a game winning field goal.
The defensive side of the ball the Bears played decent against the Vikings but they have a lot of injuries that they are still trying to work through.
To win this game that defense is going to need to step up big in this one. They are going to need to find a way to slow down Joe Flacco and his offense.
The offense will probably still have some growing pain for the Bears, so the defense is what is going to need to keep this team in the game.
The Baltimore Ravens have had as weird of season as anyone in the NFL so far this year, but they still come into this game with a 3-2 record, and they hope they can start a winning streak in this game.
They started off the season hot winning their first two games over the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns, and during that stretch they only gave up ten points total.
But then they traveled to London for the international game against the Jaguars and they got embarrassed from early on.
They couldn’t get anything going offensively and on the defensive side they couldn’t stop anyone and that led to a 44-7 defeat.
In their next game they still seemed to be feeling the affects of the loss the previous week and lost to the Steelers 26-9.
In their last game though they played the Oakland Raiders and they got themselves back on the right track in the big way.
The offense started to roll, and the defense made a couple of big plays on the way to a 30-17 victory and a 3-2 record heading into this one.
NFL Betting Trends:
- CHI are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 road games.
- CHI are 5-15 ATS in their last 20 games in Week 6.
- Under is 6-2 in BAL last 8 home games.
4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Baltimore Ravens -7
I think the Ravens figured out something in their last game and they will carry that into this showdown with the Bears.
NFL Free Week 6 Score Prediction: Ravens 28 – Bears 20
I think Joe Flacco will have a big game against a struggling Bears defense and that will lead them to not only a victory, but a cover of the spread.
