The opening week went pretty well for Buffalo. They won easily and are definitely looking like a team that can compete for the division title.
For Miami, losing at New England was no surprise. They are a harder team to evaluate after just one data point.
Miami needs this one more than Buffalo even though it is early in the season.
Buffalo looked good in their opener, controlling the New York Jets from start to finish. It was not a perfect game though as Josh Allen needs to continue to work on ball security. His fumbles kept the win from being a huge blowout.
Passing the ball Allen looked better than ever. he was great at spreading the ball around and had the first 300 yard passing day by a Bills quarterback in years. New top target Stefon Diggs looks ready to make a contribution right away.
The defense was really good too. There are a couple of injuries to keep an eye on though at linebacker, Matt Milano and Trey Edmunds are day today.
The only part of their game they really need to clean up is running the ball, when it is not with QB Josh Allen. The running backs really struggled and you can’t or shouldn’t run your QB too much.
Buffalo is looking a lot better than Miami to start the season, that’s for sure.
I am not sure what the ceiling is for the Patriots this season but they did beat the Dolphins fairly easily in week one.
Miami drafted a quarterback in the first round this offseason. Ryan Fitzpatrick threw three interceptions in the opener. If he keeps that up we will be seeing Tua pretty quickly.
One thing that does not bode well is that they let Cam Newton rush for 75 yards last week, and complete a high percentage of passes. Josh Allen plays the same way.
The Dolphins have to find a way to get more offense and the Bills defense is even better than New England’s in my opinion. This matchup does not look good.
Miami looked really bad the first couple of weeks of last season too. Not ready to back them just yet.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Buffalo -5.5
This one has already moved of opener of -3.5. Still kind of in that dead zone and unlikely to top the -6.5 that the Bills were last week at home against the Jets. Still good value with a much better team.
