The Bills got the win last week but they had to sweat it out. After dominating in the first half they gave up the lead late but then recovered and won to go 3-0.
The Raiders had a measuring stick game against New England last week. They came up short and are looking to bounce back at home in this one.
The late win, instead of the blowout might have create a buying opportunity on Buffalo.
The Bills are off to a 3-0 start but they have to be a little disappointed with the win against the Rams. This is a team that is still learning how to win and part of that process is getting comfortable playing with a lead. They have had one in every game but then given it back and last week it almost cost them.
Josh Allen had another very productive day, throwing for more than 300 yards for the third straight game. The Bills are actually second in the NFL in passing offense early on.
The defense has been stout against the run – 8th, but they are giving up yards through the air. A lot of those have been in situations where the opposition has no choice but to throw though.
The Raiders try to be very balanced so this will be a challenge for the Bills defense. They need to put some pressure on Derek Carr, who is prone to make mistakes.
I have been high on the Bills all season long and I see no reason to get away from them here.
Las Vegas Raiders
After a couple of nice wins to start the season the Raiders took their first loss at New England last week. The loss was no surprise but I thought they would be more competitive.
The Raiders want to be balanced on offense and they are 14th in running and passing. That is middle of the pack but balanced nonetheless.
Similar to Allen, Derek Carr is off to a fantastic start. He has yet to throw an interception this season and has a rating of 116.4.
The missing ingredient for Las Vegas is the big play. Running back Josh Jacobs has yet to break a run longer than 14 yards this season. Big play receivers Bryan Edwards and Henry Ruggs III are questionable. They need them to stretch the defense.
The Raiders are looking like the second best team in the AFC West this season. If they are going to beat the Bills they are probably going to have to play their best game of the season.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Buffalo -3
I would have loved for the Bills to dominate the Rams in the second half the way they did in the first. However, the close loss might have helped them avoid a hangover heading into Las Vegas.
There is a lot to like about this team and they just need to play their game to win and cover here. They are 2-1 ATS and that loss was to Miami and of the backdoor variety.
