Buffalo’s running game was equally ineffective, with only 81 yards on 23 attempts. Josh Allen completed 16 of 29 passes for 180 yards and was sacked three times. He failed to throw any touchdown passes.
Buffalo’s top receiver was Khalil Shakir, who caught four passes for 62 yards, including a 52-yard reception. James Cook led the team in rushing with 39 yards, averaging 4.3 yards per attempt. The Bills converted only 23.1% of their third down attempts.

The Texans’ offense put up 334 yards through the air in their 24-20 win over the Jaguars, with C.J. Stroud going 27/40 for 345 yards and two touchdowns. Houston had 26 first downs and converted 53.8% of their third down attempts. Nico Collins had a big game, leading the team with 151 receiving yards and a touchdown.
On the ground, Houston struggled to get going, finishing with just 101 yards on 26 attempts. Cam Akers was the leading rusher with 53 yards. Stroud was sacked twice and finished with a passer rating of 110, without throwing any interceptions.
Despite giving up 158 rushing yards on just 24 attempts, the Texans’ defense held the Jaguars to 155 passing yards in their most recent game, a 24-20 win. Jacksonville finished with 313 total yards. Houston allowed just 18 completions on 33 attempts (54.5%) and forced the Jaguars to a 33.3% conversion rate on third down.
Even though they allowed two passing touchdowns, the Texans’ defense made it tough on the Jaguars, as they had a good day against the run. Houston only had one sack in the game and lost the QB hit and tackles for loss differentials.
