Both teams are coming off wins and looking like the front runners in their respective division. This will be an interesting match to gauge where they are in the general pecking order.
Winning at Seattle is never easy and the Ravens may have to play a mistake free game to do so. That is a tall order for a team with a relatively inexperienced quarterback who is better running than throwing.
Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens were pushed last week by Cincinnati and did not cover but they did win a second game in a row. They will look to push that streak to three on the road but they already have a two-game cushion in the AFC North.

I have to admit I did not know that the Ravens are leading the NFL in yards per game and are second in scoring. A lot of that has to do with the 59 points they put up in their opener against Miami but the offense led by Lamar Jackson has been better than I expected. They are first in rushing and middle of the pack throwing it.
Jackson has put up decent numbers but they are inflated by that first game. You can’t discount his running abilities but when Baltimore is playing from behind it is hard to have a lot of confidence in their offense.
Also, the defense is not nearly as good as its reputation. They are 4th against the run but yield 23ppg which is just in the lower half of the league. They are just OK.
Baltimore is going to need a good game plan if they are going to go on the road and steal a game from Seattle.
Seattle Seahawks
Seattle showed great resilience in winning at Cleveland last week. They were down early on the road, came back to get a lead, gave it up but eventually overtook the Browns on the way to the win. They are still looking up at undefeated San Francisco though.

Russell Wilson had another strong game but he has been better this season. He still has yet to throw an interception through and now had 14 TD tosses against.
Thanks to Chris Carson this Seattle team is looking like the ones of recent vintage. He has run for over 100 yards in three straight games and averaging more than 4.4 yards per carry in all of those.
The defense is not as strong as it was on those teams though. They are solid against the run but all of their other metrics put them in the lower third.
Relying on Wilson to figure out how to get a win is not a bad strategy but if the defense does not improve eventually he will have some struggles and not be able to bail them out.
